It's really annoying when I try to explain my gender, and there are other trans people who are like "oh it sounds like you're just cis with dysphoria. Shanks manipulating Luffy and having him become the sacrificial lamb to try and topple the world government would be an interesting twist.

I stand by my gut feeling that Shanks is not the good old boy he presents himself as. Why not consume the fruit he went to such great lengths to obtain? Why wait until Luffy had come so far in his journey to make a move for the One Piece? Why is he meeting with the Gorosei?

He has a plan. And it feels like he always meant for Luffy to be the catalyst of that plan. He wants attention to be on Luffy because the moves he needs to make require a distraction.

It's why I believe Shanks is going to end up being the final antagonist. Not Blackbeard. Not Sakazuki. Not even Im.
