My friend Aganita sent me this photo with permission to share. She said the caption was probably off a year or two and it was taken in 1984 or 1985. I couldn't wait to share it. What a great photo containing sunshine, smiles, sweat socks and rainbow shoes on lesbians.

She says "Right after I came out I saw a notice of a lesbian rap* group that was meeting in Palo Alto, California, and I went to a meeting where the author, Jane Rule was going to speak. I went regularly after that. These were some women from that group."

*(rap in this context means "talk or discussion group")
