the new ride kamens character is jo, and he's... blood stark and night rogue? he's got the blood stark visor and color, but he's got bat wings which is definitely night rogue, not what i would've expected, i would've thought we'd get evol and kr rogue first as separate characters, but hey, dan kuroto and blood stark are some of my top faves of all time villains, so i'm not complaining

heck YES look at this steam-powered and yet somehow cyberpunky batman. he's awesome! 🦇 and honestly given that the popular guess for him was Night Rogue, I think it's pretty funny that he ended up being (mostly) the other Faust guy (I admit I usually associate him with the Evol form and...kind of forgot about Blood Stalk a little bit. :')

Chinese/Lunar New Year

So uh for the past few days I’d been contemplating a Chinese New Year piece for this year in particular because uh it’s the Year of the Dragon and that plus dragon dance so perfect a combination it makes, but uh… admittedly I bit more than I could chew so uh :’D

I wasn’t able to make a full artwork in time, but I do have my cleaned up sketch to show for the holiday, so without further ado, happy Chinese/Lunar New Year Stilton fandom <3

It’s very not complete and the dragon’s details aren’t even drawn in but I hope ya’ll like it anyway

Ok everyone I have a very important question for you. No judgement I am genuinely just curious because this strikes me as so odd

#every single roommate i've had has left their dirty dishes in the sink and i'm??? because my mom would flip if i did that #right now we have two sinks but only one of them can ever be used because the other is always full of dishes #and most of the time there's still at least one dish in the other sink too. trying to fill water is an act of trying not to brush #against food particles with the bottom of whatever vessel i'm trying to fill #it's just weird to me. you're limiting your space? also leaving food bits out for days is how you get bugs... :/ #anyways i can't always do my dishes right away (low energy/motivation) but like. i stack them in a designated area in my room #why the sink? #storyrambles #my polls #maybe there's some wisdom to this i'm not understanding.

yknow I've been thinking about what dream looks for in friends and lovers and I've noticed that it's not necessarily people that are mean to him, but people that are direct. dream himself deals in metaphor and manipulation, it's simply what he is, so just about everything within his realm that he's encountering consistently will be such that as well. considering both his own tendencies, the environment it breeds, and his whole Thing about guilt and choice, it makes sense he would choose people who are clear and honest with him. he wants someone who will tell him how it is, but not what to do with that—even when it's not really what he wants, dream knows it's what he can need. I think that's why figures like lucienne, matthew, death, and yes, mervyn can be important! on some level, dream knows he's convoluted and shifty by nature, and he's tried to combat that with concise words and mind-melting beauracracy, but it can't fix everything. he likes people to keep him in check and I think that is the most self-awareness he has ever been capable of. so... clap? no? idk. nod acknowledgingly.

#it is also that he is autistic #i dont make the rules. its just true. #also didnt mention for sentence flow but this is 100% why i think he REALLY hates desire #theyre the only manipulator in the universe better at manipulating than him. and uses these abilities to fuck him over. #they know how to blend direct observation with subtly implied direction to get him to do what they want whilst thinking hes not #dream knows this and he HATES it. because thats like. his every fear confirmed. in someone who is supposed to care for him. #and desire simply sees this as an extension of their function and good fun besides without understanding how deeply this messes dream up #with the guilt and choice thing: dream wants someone clear to blame and he would prefer it not be himself #so he wants to be given the option to be left with no choice so he can escape all personal responsibility as disguising it for himself as a #personal attack. the problem is that this is an inherently selfish thing to do and his perception of reality is so warped by ass kissing and #paranoia (great combo) that he ALSO cant tell whats a personal attack. #see: nada rejecting him and dream damning her to hell for 10000 years. #that also hit some other stuff he lacks the emotional wisdom to grasp #but like. why else would mervyn exist. genuienly #mervyn knows hes made by an uncaring god for menial and unnecessary work. everyone else knows hes full of shit and kinda right. #if dream didnt like what purpose he served on some level he would just remake or unmake mervyn all together. but he doesnt. #mervyn is like a chainsmoking barometer of public opinion #like boyboss good for him but thats it #anyway #dream of the endless #the sandman #raspberry rambles

#LMFAO #my wisdom teeth are……… so poorly angled. 100% impact on all four #and the left one is tryna make moves so it’s swelling my gums which is raising my molar #and jacking up my bite while the tooth is sensitive in sensitive gums #¯\_(ツ)_/¯ #so he suggested just. get rid of them. take the wisdom teeth out. all 4 bc of the possible impact from them #and if I didn’t I’d just periodically have this crazy ass pain come and go and come and go and fuck THAT so. removal it is #👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 #I have no idea what that’s gonna cost lmfao so we’ll…. we’ll see #and today basically the pain hasn’t been nearly as severe. the swelling has gone down significantly. so I think the pain/problem is #subsiding for a bit. I hope. lol. so they’re referring me to the dental hospital teehee #and then we did a clean of my teeth bc I have crazy plaque buildup and thus bacteria and thus making the issue worse. apparently. so #which isn’t a surprise. depression and adhd means I don’t brush my teeth as often as I should. and floss is scary #while doing that he seemed to have no problems with any of my fillings so I assume they’re fine atm too #all those side effects bc my wisdom tooth wants to play up…….. attention seeker #also between that molar and the gums where the wisdom tooth is. there’s a pocket. apparently. and stuff is getting stuck in there apparently #a pocket……. head in hands. and obviously that’s difficult to clean so that’s also bothering my gums and thus my tooth.
