Fam. Idk how long you been in the Zelda fandom, but Link x Dark Link from OoT has been a ship since early 2000s. Like it was noticable (until vidow came around and took a portion of the people). I used to see it called Dink back in the day. Tho now, Dink is used when referring to Dark Link... But either way. It's exciting to see new people come into this ship!

(I realize this probably comes off as condescending but I promise it's not meant to be!)

In my experience I have only seen Dink be used to refer to Dark Link (I just use "Dark" in the same vein that everyone uses "Shadow" because "Dink" sounds strange to me). I've been into LoZ for as long as I can remember, but actually joining the fandom and interacting with fanworks has been an extremely recent thing (within the last two years, basically), so I'm not sure about what's popular and what isn't. I'm glad to see it's well-received, at the least! I'm always worried when I post something that somehow it's going to be controversial and I won't know until I get a bunch of hate

Shadow: Unwaveringly devoted to Vio

Vio: Perpetually 5 minutes away from a mental breakdown at any given moment

They defeat Vaati but still need to defeat Ganon, Vio's morals have become remarkably grey
