Listen I dont know a lot abt dsmp lore but it kinda fascinates me how quackity representative color shifted from blue to red considering how red is a more 'agressive' color that represents passion anger and other strong emotions meanwhile blue is like a more peaceful version of red, a serene color that represents calmness freedom sensivity etc
Just thinking how interesting that is

Let's just pretend for a second that this is canon.
We know Foolish built Quackity a panic bunker, and we know they have both used it in the past, thanks to LN5. The nuke sirens from Tommy's finale were really loud. Maybe even loud enough to be heard all the way in Las Nevadas. It wouldn't be unreasonable to assume they were able to make it to the bunker in time.
If we take Fundy's words at face value that he left Las Nevadas some time before the finale, that means...
Quackity and Foolish are the only two people alive.
In the entire world.
That is the single most terrifying thought in the server's history.

Dream XD ended up protecting Fundy from the incoming Las Nevadas attack for giving him the future sight through the harsh nightmares
Naturally, his beloved fox shouldn't go to waste like that
If they had to die, it wouldn't be because of Purpled nor Dream, hell, not even that slime abomination, no no
The dreamon God has a special treatment reserved to Fundy
His soul belongs only to him
And he'll claim it soon

The 6th chapter of the Las Nevadas series is coming up, so here’s a list of my personal predictions & hopes!
Recap: Last chapter, Quackity changed a lot. Slime managed to become his best friend, questioned his morals, and tore down many of his walls. Heartbroken after Purpled’s betrayal and Slime’s death, Quackity managed to pick himself back up after reading the message Slime (now renamed Charlie) left for him. Reminded of the good times they shared, he resolved himself to do his best to create a legacy that Charlie would be proud of. With a lighter heart, at the end of the stream Quackity fully opened Las Nevadas.
Tumblr media
Onto the predictions!
Because it ended that way, we’re probably gonna have the casino as a major setting. Finally getting to see all the cool redstone machines and decorations would be amazing
HINTS FOR c!CHARLIE RETURN PLEASEEE I miss the little goober so much
I think a part of the stream will def be about the Dream prison break. It was foreshadowed ever since Chapter 2’s “three horsemen” opening scene, a whole year earlier. The Las Nevadas crew was so odd, just quietly observing the chaos in the background of other peoples’ streams while dressed in black cloaks. We might find out what they were up to
Tumblr media Tumblr media
c!Foolish dies again out of sacrifice, or canon kills somebody for the first time. Either one would round out his character development well
Something could happen to Fundy??? His future self (in the same black cloak) warned him in a dream about joining LN a long time ago, we still don’t know exactly why
Tumblr media Tumblr media
(Btw, c!Fundy recently told c!Wilbur out of nowhere that he left Las Nevadas despite saying earlier that he’s part of it. He signed a contract and enjoys living there, so I feel like he was making that up. Still, it’s a bit confusing, so I’m hoping it will be cleared up in chapter 6)
Dream will probably target Las Nevadas. In previous lore streams he’s been suspicious, questioning Sam & Foolish about Quackity since they’re friends. He also tried ego-boosting manipulation to turn Foolish against Las Nevadas which didn’t work. A big chance he shows up, and I’m hoping for a war-scenario game of wits or fight scene
Las Nevadas crew playing among us?? Pls?? Even if they don’t I need to see the bunker being used in a serious lore it’d be so good and funny (I say that but it could actually be made scary)
Quackity and Foolish are due for an important discussion. Some things need to be said
c!Quackity keeps his word and stays with his country until the very end, no matter what happens. We can all feel death flags, don’t pretend <- I say, pretending
c!Quackity lives happily ever after. I like this one more
There will be no more betrayals. (I’ve had enough of that ok)
Kinoko Kingdom people get involved in a conflict, or their place is set on fire. The memes would become real
Jschlatt mention
Idk BBH appears and does something? He wrote a sus reply to Quackity on twt about the lore, that’s literally all I’m basing this on lol

My thing with the 'End of Las Nevadas' is that... It doesn't feel like an end. It feels like a rev up. Maybe there's big plans for Las Nevadas in season 2, maybe we'll see Quackity still there and working. Maybe we'll see his decedents. Idk. I'm curious now what the plan is for season 2 and if I'm right about my theory.

On this day one year ago...
Philza was announced and got his QSMP ticket to Quesadilla Island!

It feels like it's only been a few months since we were still theorizing about what the QSMP would be (s/o the Las Nevadas 2 theory: iykyk). What else do you remember?

Since we're talking c!Quackity...one of the interactions that fascinates me is the conversation between him, c!Wilbur, and c!Tommy when crimeboys visit Las Nevadas, because it contains this snippet of conversation:
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
This snippet comes in the middle of a larger conversation wherein Wilbur, more or less freshly revived, is grilling both Tommy and Q for details about how to get into the prison to see Dream. After this, the conversation moves on to navigating the visitation system. This snippet is framed within the context of Wilbur wanting to visit Dream, Tommy trying to convince him not to, and Quackity...? Well, okay, what is Quackity trying to do here? What's his goal in this conversation? He readily supplies Wilbur with info about the visitation and security systems (while Tommy actively withholds and obfuscates this info), so does that mean Q is trying to normalize his own visits by encouraging other people to visit? That's possible, but what interests me more is the question of, like, what the hell is going on here in a broader sense.
The simplest view of this conversation is that it's an argument between two people who are diametrically opposed, and Quackity is the third party here, a guy who doesn't seem particularly invested in either outcome. Which begs the question, why does he bring his own visits up at all? Q is the one who cuts in and mentions that he's been visiting Dream, which at this point isn't a secret on the server but it's also not something Q seems interested in discussing at length. The torture visits are something to be flaunted, not talked about. My assumption, given what we know about Q as a character, is that he's leveraging his experience with navigating Pandora in order to impress Wilbur. Information is something that can be negotiated, brokered, sold - so he's letting Wilbur know he has something Wilbur wants.
This is classic Q behavior right up until the end, where he gets oddly touchy about the torture being brought up. This moment has always struck me as weird, especially considering the handful of other times Quackity doesn't care whether people know (the conversation he has with George comes to mind, as well as the path he asks Foolish to build.) So there are three possibilities here:
that Q is bothered by Tommy saying the quiet part out loud;
that Q has only just found out about Wilbur's gratitude to Dream in the last 5 minutes (literally) and doesn't want to give Wilbur a reason to oppose him right now;
there's something about Tommy specifically knowing about and acknowledging the torture that rubs Q the wrong way.
Personally, I don't see option #2 as viable, given that Wilbur and Quackity are already beefing over how close to Las Nevadas Wilbur can build stuff. That's part of the reason Wilbur is here in the first place: to execute some chernobyl-grade negging. It's not world-ending beef, but given the propensity for mid-tier beef to turn into world-ending beef on this server, it's not nothing. Point is, Quackity and Wilbur have already been at odds with each other for this entire episode. Is Quackity less likely to tolerate conflict involving Dream? Absolutely, but I don't think avoiding such a conflict is his primary reason for acting the way he does here.
My current theory is that it's a combination of #1 and #3 - Quackity seemingly enjoys implying that he's been torturing Dream, but rarely talks about it outright unless it's with Sam. I can't think of many examples of him discussing the torture openly with other characters. I think it's not a stretch to say he enjoys the power of suggestion, he likes making people wonder, he likes making people scared, but he's not really prepared for someone to bring it up so boldly and directly the way Tommy does here. As for why this bothers him, my best guess is that the torture is actually kind of...difficult to talk about with people who aren't directly involved (i.e. Sam and Dream.) It's an incredibly demanding habit that takes up much of Quackity's time and energy, not to mention it's insanely intimate. Like I just don't think it's a stretch to say that Q probably just straight-up doesn't know how to talk about it in a way that's upfront, rather than gloating or flaunting or vaguely implying. Another reason it's likely difficult is that, based on the interactions we've seen, Q probably isn't used to other people bringing it up at all. Tommy's remark catches him off-guard in a very literal way.
The "Don't say that, not even as a joke," really gets me though, because it's such a defensive thing to say, coming from a guy who up until now has been very clear about how little interest he has in defending the indefensible. Is this comment a sign of remorse on Quackity's part? Fuck no, but I do think it's an admission of something. Keep in mind that Quackity's mannerisms when speaking to Tommy are almost identical to the way he speaks to c!Slime. This is evident in a number of streams from the Las Nevadas era, but especially this one: Quackity's tone of voice, language, demeanor, all of it is calculated to evoke the same kind of mentor-mentee relationship he has with Slime. And it makes sense - at this junction in the story, Q views Tommy as someone who's young and impressionable and fucks up a lot, someone who could use Q's advice, someone who's easy to manipulate.
If I were to hedge a bet, I'd say the primary reason Quackity reacts to the torture comment with defensiveness in this scene is because Tommy's remark reminds him that he needs to stay in control of the narrative. I think this is why Q brings up his visits (not the torture, but the visits) earlier in the conversation: "Tommy, you know about this, right?" He's testing Tommy to see how much he knows, and is taken aback when Tommy is prepared to bring up the nasty stuff. Q can walk around with Dream's blood on his shirt all he likes, but once the story's out, it's out - Quackity will no longer have control over who knows and, more importantly, what they think. If anything, this moment is a fleeting but noticeable admission of Quackity's insecurities surrounding the torture in specific. If he's going to properly manage his alliances, he would do well to maintain control of info surrounding, uh, how he spends his time.

I'm conflicted about the whole Las Nevadas stream format.
To be clear, I absolutely adore the series. I think Quackity put a lot of thought and care into the story he was telling and how he was going to tell it. For me, the fast-paced editing—which ramps up with every stream—actually enhances the image that c!Quackity is trying to portray: a classy, professional production for a classy, professional character. It only has a short amount of runtime to fill, so it's selective with what it shows the audience, just as c!Quackity is selective with the sides of himself he shows the other characters. And that selectiveness helps to streamline the story into structured and impactful narrative beats.
Yet that same editing style also comes with some real weaknesses that other lore streams don't suffer from, and I think it comes down to oversimplification. The simple fact is that c!Quackity has too many parallel storylines to resolve (and even begin, in some cases) in just five streams. Now, MY understanding of why he introduced the c!Slimecicle storyline, especially so late, is that it was supposed to act as a kind of metaphor for c!Quackity's overall "villain arc". It's essentially c!Quackity's way of talking to his past self and telling him not to make the same "mistakes", or "weaknesses", that he did, to which his past self then proceeds to shove him off a building. Metaphorically. I think Quackity's aim was for the prison arc to symbolize his character's descent, and then for c!Slimecicle to symbolize his redemption, to facilitate his "look at what you've become" moment.
In theory, I think this is great—perfect, even. But unfortunately, you just can't tie up that many stories with another unrelated (in any way besides thematic) story. The c!Slimecicle plot begins to overshadow the narrative. You can't abandon the prison arc. You can't abandon Kinoko, or the burger van, or the other Las Nevadas members. You can't abandon the Egg—although that one was wrapped up better than most. All of these storylines were set up as important, and a failure to give them the screen time you set up is going to lead to failure overall. (And I know a lot of this stuff was out of the content creators' hands, everyone was busy, but still.)
Portraying Las Nevadas as a well-produced, easily-digestible, self-contained storyline is great for the way it represents Quackity's character, but it's not great for exploring the complexities of of the character that it sets up.

There's a theory in twt that says Eng!Q is Big Q 'cause someone found a png of Las Nevadas in the code of the riddle page, and he knows more things than Esp!Q, so ppl think QSMP is built on top of Las Nevadas.

you've probably been asked this before but if you could change anything (rewrite remove add) about ctntduo (character, dynamic, events) what would it be?
Interesting, haven't been asked this before actually!
One of the crucial issues with ctntduo especially once it was established as an actual plot point during Las Nevadas is that while ccWilbur was focused on his own arc and how he and quackity were paralleled, ccQuackity had his own story to tell. He clearly included cWilbur's influence on his character, but nothing past this. I think it impacted the weight of tntduo's dynamic in the story.
In his finale and pentultimate stream, Quackity focused a lot more on dapuo and his character's dynamic with Charlie. I don't even fully agree with how it went, because he clearly wanted to include more stuff with the whole las nevadas crew and his dynamic with Charlie kind of went into a direction that didn't really fully flesh out their nuances that I would have liked. Charlie was a bit... woobified in his writing. But most significantly for this post, Quackity did not have the same emotional investment for ctntduo for the same way Wilbur did, and it accidentally shifted the character dynamic to being less of equal stance too.
So firstly, I mean this is a common suggestion but to have more streams with Wilbur to intersect the burger arc was one thing. I really like how it was more in Wilbur's POV to make Quackity's role in this more uncertain! But I would have desperately wanted Wilbur to have taken part of the prison break, clearly idolized Dream for saving him, then wrestled with exile after Tommy told him. Pissed off Quackity got to Dream before he did. Wished it was him doing the heroic torturing to gleefully put himself as the hero "saving" his brother. Inconsolable differences, where Wilbur straight up fantasizes killing cDream over and over was one of the most beautiful streams ever tbh.
Another theory that my friend suggested and NEVER got out of my head is that after Wilbur planted tnt detonations to fuck with Quackity, Quackity actively destroys a part of his city and blames it on Wilbur. Vile. Underhanded. No one has any evidence and people are quick to turn on Wilbur -- Tommy believes him though.
And, I've never admitted this but I personally believe Wilbur's finale had initially involved asking Quackity run away with him to Utah. I know. Not Tommy, he'd idiotically choose Quackity. I know that sounds really stupid but for this to work, Quackity would immediately turn him down. It would parallel when Wilbur eagerly accepts the "offer" to join Quackity's Las Nevadas from the very beginning. During that time, Wilbur is so in disbelief that Quackity would turn him down. You can see him convincing himself that he's changed for the better, you can see him really believing he'd be the perfect man for the job. But this time, when Quackity says no, Wilbur accepts it.
They would never work out, bc that is not the POINT of ctntduo. Each have their own arcs that are not resolved by ending up together. They go their separate ways in the end, but respect each other. I never liked him anyway.
so TLDR
More burger lore streams... We really didn't get much of ctntduo
Dream's prison break with Wilbur's slow descent realizing his "saviour" is not to be idolized
Quackity destroys part himself in the process trying to get back at Wilbur
"Come to Utah with me?" "...I won't."

I’ve been thinking about the first part of the DSMP finale quite a lot recently, so let me ramble about it and, more specifically, the decisions c!Punz makes there, and why they might of done that.
So far, I’ve seen three main theories about why c!Punz decided to revive c!Dream in front of c!Tommy and c!Tubbo, thereby destroying their cover. The first is that c!Punz just panicked and wanted to bring c!Dream back as fast as possible, damn the consequences. The second is that c!Punz and c!Dream already planned all of this out and they decided together that c!Punz didn’t have to stay in the shadows any longer. The third is that c!Punz decided that they were just going to betray the plan if one more thing went wrong out of spite and concern for both themself and c!Dream, and this was the last straw. I like all three of these for different reasons, so let’s go through them one by one.
Option One: Desperation and panic. c!Punz freaked out and revived c!Dream as soon as they found out. The second c!Dream’s back, he’s also panicking, so they’re both freaking out while trying to seem calm and collected. c!Tommy and c!Tubbo are completely oblivious to this because of course they are.
Perks/Evidence:
It’s fun (and a little angsty, but that’s not the main thing)
There’s plenty of silly little headcanons for this (including the one post that I can’t find anymore about c!Dream falling down the stairs because he was disoriented)
c!Dream would probably go along with it and pretend it was completely fine/supposed to happen
It’s the simplest solution, and the one easiest inferred from the stream
Cons:
Would c!Punz really do that, knowing how much they’ve given up for this and how level-headed they are?
Why wouldn’t c!Punz just send c!Tommy and c!Tubbo on their way instead of telling them that c!Punz had something to show them?
Option Two: Calm, calculated planning. c!Dream and c!Punz planned everything out, including the reveal of c!Punz’s true allegiances and c!Dream’s revival (and potentially his death as well). Neither of them are panicking (or, at least, they’re not panicking as much as they would in option 1). Presumably, c!Punz doesn’t need their cover anymore, perhaps because the plan is almost at the end. c!Tommy and c!Tubbo are still oblivious to everything going on, because they always are.
Perks/Evidence:
c!Dream and c!Punz getting exactly what they wanted despite making extremely questionable decisions and essentially losing, which always felt suspicious to me
Staged duo’s whole thing being staging things and making victories feel like crushing defeats
c!Punz having the revival book set up and ready to spring, as well as essentially having a whole speech planned
c!Dream has before (and would again) sacrifice a life or two for a plan
It could of been a rainy day plan for if c!Dream lost his last life, which would make the whole theory make more sense
Cons:
Why would they do this? What’s the reasoning behind this? What are they trying to accomplish (besides maybe blowing up the world, fixing whatever is wrong with it, or having previously figured out that the nukes would somehow erase people’s memories and trying to get that to happen)?
The logistics. All of them. What else do I have to say?
Option Three: Spite. It’s the last straw for c!Punz, who has had to go along with c!Dream’s plans and self-destructiveness (especially after what happened with Las Nevadas), and they decide that, damn it all, they’re going to blow their cover to force c!Dream into going along with this. c!Punz knows what’s going on but no one else is, including c!Dream. (I don’t think I explained this very well, so go read this canon-compliant oneshot setting this up if you want more context. It’s really good)
Perks/Evidence:
It gives c!Punz more agency, which is always a good thing
It has c!Punz and c!Dream be on different pages and adds conflict between them, which is interesting and angsty
c!Dream would definitely go along with it and pretend this was all part of his plan
It gives c!Punz a reason to revive c!Dream in front of Clingy Duo instead of just waiting until they were gone
As above: It gives c!Punz a relatively plausable reason to blow their cover
It incorporates c!Punz’s internal conflicts and besetting sin of anger, which neither of the others do
Cons:
There’s literally no evidence for this, I just think it’s interesting and angsty
I personally like all three of these, but I think the first makes the most sense, even though c!Dream getting what he wanted despite being outsmarted and killed and having one of his allies outed seems really suspicious. However, I think that the other two are very interesting to explore and I want to use them in fanfiction now, so I’m probably going to do that sometime and you’re not going to see me for three months.

Sometimes I say I overthink the things that qFoolish does and that he’s really just a silly little guy being himself in a world full of mystery. But then I remember all the shit he pulled during DSMP and I start sweating... he’s INSANE. He’s really good at rp even though he claims he’s not the best at it. He has AWESOME ideas, he can improvise banger lines in the middle of a moment, he can turn any situation emotional or lighthearted with just a few words or a few movements, his reactions are calculated and he looks at things in every angle before he makes his move.
Everything he did from the moment he joined DSMP to the ending on Las Nevadas made sense and went so smoothly. He went from a naïve pacifist to a cold hardened businessman. It was so good. So very good.
That’s why I’m so insistent on the traitor!Foolish theory. Because it’s something I can see cc!Foolish actually going for. Or if he really isn’t a traitor, then he’d be one in the near future.

thinking about the planned/never executed dsmp timeloop ending again
and how everything makes so much more sense because of it.
thinking about how it explains the way it's a land beyond time, where their technology is still that of crossbows and swords but there's also vehicles (drug/burger van) and screens/computers (las nevadas).
thinking about how tales of the smp makes 100000x more sense with it. thinking about how wilbur didnt have a room in mizu because he could've removed himself from the loop by leaving the smp and going to utah (theory from @/idkwatthehec !!)
thinking about how it actually fixes the nuke ending,, to an extent.
thinking about how every character's story just has that much more impact, because they're so intrinsically Themselves and they've likely lived out similar arcs many times before since it's just the way that they and the people around them Are.
thinking about how such minor details, such as removing one person or object, could dramatically change the loop's course.
thinking about how much more terrifying the idea of limbo is after that. does it reset with the rest of the smp? does it exist beyond the loop? etc.
thinking about how, if wilbur was able to leave and escape to utah, does the loop extend outwards to the rest of the world, or is it just an isolated thing inside the smp? and what this would mean for the extent of drmxd's power
thinking about characters forgetting, but their souls remembering the tiniest things. tommy still getting a feeling of dread when he's near tnt. tubbo still jumping a little harder than normal around fireworks. ranboo getting an odd sense of sick deja vu when he sees obsidian.
eggpire-affected people having a sort of guilt that they can't understand the source of or why it follows them.
we couldve had it so good guys
