So I have a LOT of AUs, not all of them get talked about! A little list if some of the ones I like.
Cloud!Three - Leafpool and Crowfeather leave permanently, having their children in Skyclan. Cloudtail and Brightheart have their second litter earlier, Ambermoon, Snowbush and the renamed Dewrush as the Kin of Firestar's Kin.
Prophecy!Scourge/Tiny!Fire - Bluefur takes Tiny into Thunderclan, only to realize he is the subject of a Prophecy: The Night Alone will save our Clan.
Anthro AU - Exactly what it sounds like but every character exists all at once, mostly just for fun.
Power of Stars - Rather than being Firestar's Kin, there are multiple sets of Prophecy Cats, all related to the OG founders. Lionblaze, Hollyleaf and Jayfeather for Windstar. Heathertail, Galeshine (Galekit), and Harespring for Shadowstar (through Sun Shadow). Minnowtail, Willowshine, and Cloudsnap for Skystar (through Blackclaw, Primroseheart and Reedwhisker's dad). Flametail, Tigerheart and Dawnpelt for Thunderstar. Things get complicated when Skyclan shows up early for OOTS, bringing along Firefern, Harrybrook and Stormheart for Riverstar.
Warriorclan joins the Clans - Very self-explanatory. They come with Graystripe in the end, settling in a more remote spot in-between Sanctuary Lake and The City.
50% left version 1 - Great Battle was far more disastrous, every cat barring few has a 50/50 chance of getting killed.
50% left version 2 - Post-Avos. Darktail's massive fire along with a horrific storm puts all cats barring few on the chopping block.
Lakeclan - As The Great Journey comes to an end, the majority of Clan cats cannot bare to be rigid, separated groups once more. The Lake is governed by the 4 Leaders at respective camps, but borders are a thing of the past, cats are completely free to go where they please and get close to who they want. Of course, not everyone agrees with the new arrangement...
My Clangen AU - If I could draw, I would have made a comic series for these guys. A newly formed Clan, Moonclan, fights for its place to survive amongst the already pre-established Songclan, Leafclan, Moleclan, and Weevilclan. (Each Clan is tracked through alternate Clangen files, each with a different biome. Leafclan is Classic Forest, Moleclan is Tunnels, Weevilclan is Shipwreck, Songclan is Wasteland, and Moonclan is Crystal River)
Feel free to send asks about any of these AUs!

"It belongs to the twolegs/humans because they destroyed the forest territory and the clans had to leave" isn't an option. Choose a clan.
I added Warriorclan just for the sillies, because they're currently in the forest territories
Anyways, feel free to tell me who you think Sunningrocks rightfully belongs to and why!

I know you said the Chelford cats and by extension Bloodclan are a bit cultural melting pot but. What are the Statistics, Elder Bones? Does anyone there speak Seamew as a native language? Any who follow the Sister's religion?
Nearly everyone speaks Townmew, but bilingualism is SUPER high rate. Something like 90% speaks Townmew, and 40% speak a second language.
A surprisingly high number of them ARE ex-Clan cats. Brightsky is one of them-- though she's what BloodClan calls an "Innenouter." A kittypet who is allowed outside, but always returns at night.
Innenouters are treated like outsiders, but not in a way that's rude or violent like the Clans. They can't qualify for Official BloodClan Work, but can join in on daylight projects if they'd like. They also aren't able to receive their own food rations, because they are expected to be fed at home.
But, back to demographics.
About 30% of BloodClan is able to speak Clanmew, through being clanborn or being descended from them. It's a minority, but a pretty big one. It's one of the reasons Townmew and Clanmew haven't drifted too far linguistically; Clanmew continues to influence Townmew.
(It's also how Darktail was able to pick up Clanmew even before meeting SkyClan, and how WarriorClan learns it)
Up next, there are actually some cats that speak Modern Tribemew. Tribemew is a popular language family, picked up by travelers that pass through the Valley Ward and distributed around the "mid lands" that lay between the Forest and the Lake.
But, it's rare in Chelford. You're looking at a sharp drop in the demographics compared to Clanmew, something like 8%, and even fewer speak it as their mother tongue.
Seamew is one of the rarest languages in BloodClan. Hengest is VERY far away. You're looking at a rate of maybe 2%. If you made a "map" of all the connections between individual cats to see where they travel to meet family, hang out, and sightsee, you would observe that BloodClan cats have few connections "beyond" the mouth of the River Chell, where SkyClan's gorge was.
Anyway, religion
Ancestor worship is surprisingly unpopular in Chelford. It's a town and there are no stars thanks to light pollution. StarClan is laughable to most of them-- if they're so strong, where are they?
Still, Clankin cats hold to it. You're looking at 10% or so that believe in StarClan specifically, and 20% more who have a more abstract type of ancestor worship.
Reincarnation is a popular idea, that you keep getting reborn in new forms. A lot of cats find the idea of divine punishment for their enemies comforting though lmao, living in a place where there are good and bad humans who you'll never see justice done to.
There's a lot of beliefs here, it's not a sore point to talk about religion except with ex-Clan cats, who are super touchy about it. Everyone has a different, personal idea of how the world works and what comes next.
So there's definitely a couple of Sister religion believers, or people who unknowingly have influence from Sister ideas. Tribe too, and even Park cats from so long ago.

Got this one off au where it's TBC, but it all takes place in Chelford and features Warriorclan
Basically the rough plot is that Princess is possessed by FireStar because he's on a self destructive crusade to make Warriorclan into a "proper clan" because the original clans in the lake were destroyed (through some unseen force, no it wasn't the kin). It went into his own struggles with being indoctrinated into Clan life and how it ends up destroying him in the end

Ok it’s my turn to bite and ask what the heck happened with the warriors cats books and fandom
Uhhh oh boy. Not sure I can explain over 80+ books of stuff, but I’ll give you the basics?
It starts with a little house cat named Rusty, who decides he’s tired of being a pet and joins the clan of feral cats living in the woods and gets renamed Firepaw (later Fireheart, then Firestar when he’s leader). There’s four clans (five actually but Skyclan was banished and Firestar finds them later), Thunderclan, Riverclan, Windclan and Shadowclan, and also the clan where cats go when they die, Starclan. There’s also a tribe that lives in the mountains, a group of weird ghost-seeing girl cats, and a complicated thing involving a group that ends up being called Warriorclan, but they’re not as important.
Basically they all fight a LOT with each other, over territory, over food, over everything basically. There’s forbidden romance because you can’t fall in love with cats from other clans (even though this happens every series, but also they change that later), and inevitably this is a huge issue and it’s the cause of several disastrous plot things that sometimes make no sense at all.
Cats die in fun (traumatizing) ways such as: being crushed by a tree, being carried away by a hawk at barely a month old, leaping from a cliff and collapsing a roof on top of a mountain lion, falling in a frozen lake while playing hockey, and having all nine lives (leaders get nine lives) ripped out of him all at once and nearly being ripped in two basically.
The plot mostly follows Firestar and his family, and the prophecies that are really weird most of the time, and as the series has gone on it’s just gotten more and more weird.
As for the fandom I have no clue— I basically just looked at fanart and read comics on deviantart when I was smaller, and was blissfully ignorant of any problems. I think the fandom tends to be a little... you know. Tense, shall we say, but I can’t say much for the actual state of it since I haven’t poked my head into it in literal years.
But yeah, any questions?

heyyyy fav clan??
I really like WarriorClan but I don't know if they count. I also really like specifically pre-lake SkyClan but I'm not interested in current SkyClan. So just in general probably WindClan with ShadowClan as a close second

what do you think will be ASC6's title? Star? Or will some new clan be formed or something and they'll call it Frost or Night (depending on who's founding that new clan) or something?
I personally think it’s going to be Star, I feel like a new clan formation within 3 books would be too rushed, and not to mention how little room their is left around the lake to support another clan.
Unless Frostpaw brings the entirety of WarriorClan back to the lake and they just live in the horseplace lol

Hmm alright Spotty, how’s the current Skydrop faction? Like do they even exist or smth
Eehhhh… they do exist, but currently they’re very different from when we’ll meet them.
At the moment, they’re a bit of a mix of the cats of the park from River Ripple’s youth, and WarriorClan. The Skydrop faction has had it rough, and it’s really only during more modern times (as of the Ignite arc) that it’s evened out enough to even be qualified as a true group.
They are a faction, but they’re no longer part of a fealty, and through the generations of their exile, many of their customs and culture have been smudged, erased, or just entirely replaced. They are something new, entirely unique to them, and they even had their own prophesied fire come to them already: Leafdapple, who is being renamed to Leafblaze (or something to that affect, haven’t decided just yet,,), though she is very young and had leadership and heavy responsibility thrust upon her.
Currently, they’re a “sky-faring” culture, very engrossed with the earth and the forest where they currently reside; they have an entire role specifically for magic-users, and magic is celebrated within their community and culture. It helps them cultivate their home, located high above the lake, a city built within the canopies connected through manipulated branches and lit by glowing plants and fruits.
They desperately cling to life - not necessarily that of their members, as their numbers thrive very easily, especially under Leaf’s rule, but the life of their culture. So much of their history has been forgotten, wiped out with so many generations whose names and faces were regrettably faded into the stars, but that’s what their fire is for: a light in the darkness, in the sky, guiding them into glory and safety and security.
Also: they stand on two legs!! :D

i finally read graystripe's vow and imma need an entire 6 book arc centered around warrior clan because the erins cannot drop "kittypets in the old forest do warrior cat rps at recess" as an aside in one super edition and never touch on it again. i don't need a whole AVOS-style bring-warriorclan-to-the-lake, i just need 6+ books of warriorclan's wacky hijinks asap

are there any things about the future arcs you can say? If not you can ignore me!
I can talk about them!
There are 4 planned arcs right now, with 2 mini arcs planned as well.
The 2 mini arcs are known as: Skyfall, the story of what happened when Skyclan left; and Missing Moons, the stories of some cats whose development years were stuck in between The Hopless Storm and A Vision Of Shadows.
The main arcs coming are: Dark Times, the immediate aftermath of ASC's Downer Ending (Berryheart and Splashtail becoming leaders of their Clans); as well as an Arc that I have split in half.
Beyond the Stars, Sunlight Edition: More slice-of-life story about the remains of The Kin, lead by 5 young Protagonists, one from each Clan.
Moonpaw, daughter of Fringewhisker and Spireclaw from Skyclan.
Rowanpaw, daughter of Dovewing and Tigerstar from Shadowclan.
Spottedpaw, son of Spotfur/Silverspots (name undecided) and Stemleaf of Thunderclan.
Saplingpaw, daughter of Toadstep and Featherpelt of Windclan.
Floatpaw, daughter of Sneezecloud and Havenpelt of Riverclan.
The 5 come together and must work together to not only stop the Kin threat, but help the cats hurting from it to heal.
The other half is Beyond The Stars Moonlight Edition. Cosmic horror with a single Protagonist. Bristlepaw of Thunderclan.
A bold, curious young molly determined to push boundaries and find about about her origins, and right a wrong that no one seems willing to speak of. An unlikely group of allies may just be the key to success.
The Fourth and Possibly Final Arc takes place many, many years in the future. A reunion of every group we have seen. Thunderclan, Windclan, Skyclan, Riverclan and Shadowclan now live around the lake with Warriorclan and Bloodclan, who have lived their for years. Peace on the horizon, the cats must overcome their differences one final time, and come together as one, once and for all.
The arc will be extended with a view to each of the 7 Clans, along with how Starclan and The Dark Forest are doing now.
The Arc, jokingly referred to as Warriors Violet (in reference to the futuristic Pokemon Violet) has now been given an official name.
The Last Clan.

Morning everybody, or like what some young cats in Warriorclan say, "Rise and Grind'
Didn't sleep the best last night though.. had some. Night terrors I suppose. Something about a dog attack on the lake clans. WHICH I MEAN, I only really know about them from word from Warriorclan and the internet

Honestly Greystripe's Vow was okay, but I always got the sense that they tried to parallel him training Warriorclan with Firestar training Skyclan. (And you get to see Greystripe's horrible mentorship in action again!) It was interesting to see what happened to the forest, but it was also unnecessary. Maybe if they had focused on Greystripe going back to try and use the Moonstone to reach Starclan then it'd have been better, but it was an afterthought. Also...I did not like how he said Monkeystar's deputy would be the true leader of Warriorclan when she died...that was such an asshole thought.
I think Greystripe going to the Moonstone (as a solution for the 'no StarClan in the lakes, and as part of a secret group in TC to try solve it) would have def been more interesting + fit with TBC more. Why would Greystripe, loyal TC warrior just 'go for a wander'? Even if you try say oh he was heartbroken becoz Millie died and when Silverstream died he 'went on a wander' to RiverClan it still makes no sense.
I think his 'Monkeystar's deputy would be true leader' was because a) he liked Fang more and b) WarriorClan is just kids playing pretend and going home to their safe houses but Greystripe sees it as a "legit" Clan or group of cats, to him he sees WarriorClan as a way for rogues/loners like Fang to find shelter and safety and hopes it will continue and not just end when Monkey and co get bored. Still an asshole comment. I did like the SkyClan parallels *but* i still see em as a bunch of kids playing pretend and not a legit Clan.. idk why the ending manga did That

did the tribe recognize sharptooth/one eye as a haunting? also, you mentioned he mightve manifested as a HUMAN at one point, and that idea is so insanely cool to me- do you have any other ideas for what a human one eye could entail or was it a one-off? cool either way!
Thank you for giving me the chance to talk about this because OH MY GOD I do actually have a brief idea for each incarnation of One-Eye
One-Eye is a war diety, the god of summer, and his power grows with each kill (I need to pick a Special Number for him to achieve full power, which will be tied to how many cats died in the Battle of the Five Oaks (fourtrees) in DotC).
The Hog
The first reincarnation was a hog.
An old boar, a gigantic one, but still only a boar. The Tribe is full of hunters, and this is a quarry they would have figured out pretty easily. But they didn't know that he would keep coming back.
The Bear
The second was the bear, which, I'm gonna be honest with you, is because Ginga was baby Bones' first anime and I wanna see the tribe cats fight a big bear. The Stoneteller of that time was alive for the first two, and still couldn't confirm it, but now it was starting to become a pattern.
I'm still not sure if One-Eye has a trait he keeps in all his incarnations, but it's either that he's blonde or that his eye is doomed to get poked out or have something weird about it.
The Man
The third, the one before Sharptooth, was the Man.
I imagine he had a very intimidating presence, but to other humans something was wrong about him. He didn't really speak, didn't really have friends, but he hated cats. The local farmfolk know there's something odd about the cats in the mountain, but the Man took it to a whole new level.
And that was the deadliest incarnation. Enlisting the help of disgruntled sheep farmers (the tribe cats take maybe 1 or 2 sheep a year), he lead a campaign of eradication. Poison, snares, even shooting at them. Scores of cats died.
Physically, he was a huge human, I keep imagining one eye shining under his fur hat, and he carried around a shiny shotgun. I'm torn between making him look like a stuffy upper class fox hunter, or just some... weird, unsettling hunter guy who showed up one day.
I know he dies being body checked off a cliff, also killing the cat who head-jockeyed him. Something that you'd see in a movie as a kid and it would be fine, but then you grow up and think, "WOW that was pretty brutal." Kind of like the deaths of Gaston and that hunter guy in Tarzan, Clayton I think??
Sharptooth
So, by this point, the Tribe has killed this guy three times. Feathertail isn't doing anything special; but in delivering the final blow, she is now drawing the curse's ire.
(if One Eye is going to follow the Clans to the lake or absolutely RUIN BloodClan's and WarriorClan's days back in Chelford is still undecided.)
The biggest change I'm doing to Sharptooth is that he's probably going to talk now, if I figure out something good for him to say. He's a cat now, in his other forms he was silent to the Tribe.
Also, he's not a cougar. He's a Eurasion Cave Lion. He has no mane but the skin around his neck sags and he's gigantic. I'm sticking to species that would be present in England, god damn it, so I'm not having Sharptooth be some random puma zoo escapee.
He's a truly ancient terror, primal and horrifying.

WarriorClan get more focus in the main series. Yay! :D
The Erins shove them into the lake territory SkyClan-style and strip them of all the little fun stuff that made them enjoyable in the first place. No. :(
