Has your OC ever done something terrible and lied about it? Did they run away or blame someone else for it? How long did they maintain the lie and did the truth ever come out?

oh em has definitely thrown fellow rioters/anarchists under the bus when running from the cops lol. she's spent so much of her life trying to survive on her own that there's still a big part of her that says the ends justify the means, but the crew she currently runs with is a bit more tight nit.

idk if beans has done anything super seriously wrong that he hid from folks but we'll see ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

@ladysqueakinpip we have no cause to believe that sora in smash is canon to the story but there was that nomura comment that was like ‘i wasn’t sure about letting it happen bc i wanted to make sure it made sense somehow’ which is hilarious and would imply that he takes sora’s appearance in any media seriously. it does check out with how carefully he works to make every piece of every kh game have some sort of explanation. so maybe that’s what people are thinking

Lucky AU is very man vs self/man vs society as opposed to having one singular villain. Shiye definitely does have people after him but it’s not out of hate or revenge or anything, they just see him as an active threat (and they're not completely wrong tbh). The general public is semi-sympathetic? It’s a lot of “ok this is just a kid, he cant control himself but we can’t have him out on the loose because he WILL kill people”. Which in other words means folks think werewolves belong in government care lol. At least until they succumb to the disease

That said Shiye’s personal enemy is Bea the unicorn. The feeling is mutual

but for real her parents tried their best to raise her Christian but them dying really didn't help. deep down she still holds on to those teachings there's just a l o t of baggage around it so she's not very good at it

meeting beans gives her something to live for other than petty revenge so there's hope!

5. What was the last time they cried, and under what circumstances? (Good way to get some *emotional* backstory in.)

Oh goody. So both siblings are pretty healthy when it comes to showing their emotions, but sometimes Elsine holds back for the sake of keeping the peace.

The last time Elsine cried was probably recently and due to anxiety (canonically true for the current rp i'm doing lol). She has to be overwhelmingly anxious for it to get that point. If she's just a little worried about a Worst Case Scenario(tm) but able to keep it mostly under control, she is less likely to cry.

Theodor, on the other hand, doesn't cry super easily, but he cries when he's dealing with his thalassophobia (i can't remember if he still has it in modern au) because of all the horrible stories he's heard about sea trolls n giants. His dad's a naval hunter, and Elsine sometimes makes trips to Iceland, which makes him worry about them when they have to do any sea travel.

10. What objects do they always carry around with them? (What do they need for their normal, day-to-day routine? What does ‘normal’ even look like for them.) 

Elsine: rucksack, dagger, writing utensils, paper, lunch, some snacks. This is just for work. She doesn't really carry anything when she's off work except her dagger. Her work days consist of scouting, and then she might stop by her mother's workplace for juicy gossip or go hang out at a friend's house for a bit. Off days can consist of anything: chores, hanging out with friends, errands, hanging out with Theodor, etc.

Theodor: Writing utensils, paper, books, documents if he needs to fulfill a deadline or just wants to get an assignment done early. His work days are usually filled with copying and translating texts, brushing up on his language skills, spilling the tea with co-workers, and then he'll also either go off to spend time at a friend's house, take a little walk, or head straight home. His off days are similar to Elsine's, with the addition that he spends time with their older sister Milene because he actually gets along with her.
