dog dad. he used to have dogs as a kid, they all died very traumatically, so he's extra attentive to any dogs he adopts. he likes cats as well, but honestly prefers dogs more.

has (more than once) accidentally trained his dogs into being therapy dogs, they all crowd around him when he's having a bad day in an attempt to get him up and moving. it usually works.

his dogs definitely keep him alive, if he has trouble getting out of bed, he just reminds himself that he has to be alive so his dogs stay alive too.

Thinking about how in the Ace Attorney movie people would literally buy tickets in order to become part of the gallery for court cases. Now I’m thinking about bets being placed on which side will win, interviews and donations being given to specific workers. Compilations of “ best moments in court” and of people’s ships, videos and books on “how to become just like those you watch in court.” People would mimic mannerisms and catchphrases and meme moments. Fashion trends would be inspired by the likes of Phoenix. Toys and figurines and other merch would be sold. Crime documentaries and podcasts would be the most popular type of media ( I’m already nauseous from the amount of ableism and propaganda that would be present in them). The in-universe fanfic writers and stans and kinnies would be insane.

I was going to go on a rant about this but I forgot

Anyways I feel like when it comes to “faking disorders online for attention” we gotta stop worrying about people faking DID or schizophrenia or other mental illnesses and worrying about the niggas who are faking vaccine injuries

People only seem to care about people faking mental issues with very obviously disordered presentations- ofc you’re gonna be like “what the fuck” at the guy who’s stuttering pretending to have his alters switch on camera, or the 13 year old kinnie beefing with her friends online because she wants to be referred to as Asuka from Evangelion in the flesh, right? And yeah, faking DID or schizophrenia or other serious disorders is super bad, but;

1. I highly doubt that everyone on Tiktok/Tumblr/other websites who claims to have serious mental disorders like these actually have them, but I also highly doubt that thousands of people would just get up one day and decide to fake having a serious mental disorder. It could be a sign of a different mental condition, or it could be a really wrong self-diagnosis, but harassing these people doesn’t make these situations any better

2. The people that harass people who fakely claim to have DID and have, for example, a thousand DSMP alters or some other obviously fake thing aren’t necessarily making things better for people who actually DO have DID either. They’re simply targeting people who might just be mentally ill tweens on the internet because the symptoms they exhibit (real or fake) are “cringy”, without any care for actually helping people with DID and in some cases fakeclaiming/harassing people based off fucking vibes. There’s really no excuse for harassing somebody just because they’re “cringe”, especially when 1 they still might need mental help and 2 you can’t even see into their head, so even if they seem fake they might actually have the disorder they are being accused of faking anyways (because nobody doing fakeclaiming discourse online is a mental health professional anyways, lmfao)

But when it comes to faking vaccine injuries? That shit’s fucking stupid, nobody’s going to believe that a vaccine that’s been proven safe and effective just randomly caused cancer in your Aunt Betty’s third cousin once removed just because you said so, especially when the vast majority of “evidence” claiming vaccines are unsafe is being pushed by a small amount of people (referring to the disinformation dozen) who actively profit off of antivax disinformation. Pretty much all of the antivax propaganda being created is either politically motivated, financially motivated or both, and these freaks of nature have the fucking gall to accuse pro-vaccine scientists of doing the exact shit they’re guilty of. Given all that as context, who the fuck is gonna believe antivaxxers when they claim to have vaccine injuries? Seems awfully convenient that the people who were vaccine skeptics to begin with are claiming to all have vaccine injuries now, especially when it’s shit that makes no sense like claiming the COVID vax gave em cancer.

Anyways this makes no sense because I’m tired but I’m saying that people need to stop harassing the 12 year olds who mistakenly think their imaginary fandom friends are signs of them having DID and start harassing people who actively lie about the COVID vaccine causing negative side effects because we’re still in a fucking pandemic and it’s not like DID is contagious anyways

ok going to give my very muddled thoughts about the good omens 2 finale below the cut, i’m still processing but people are already having bad opinions about aziraphale and as a crowley kinnie who is in love with him i will not stand for it

y’all aziraphale is in love with crowley. he loves crowley more than anything. you can see it in how he looks at crowley throughout the whole season. and the thing is that when aziraphale leaves, he spends so much time hesitating. he is literally crying his eyes out, keeps looking back to see if crowley is going to wander back in, quietly hoping that crowley is going to change his mind and go to heaven with him after all.

and as he goes up you can tell he’s putting up an act: he’s so fucking heartbroken. and also scared. he said himself he doesn’t want to go back to heaven, but this comes back to the other core part of his character arc and his struggle: he wants to do good. he wants to make a positive difference so badly. he watches the other angels make awful decisions, and yet, at his core, he still naively believes that heaven is good, because he loves god, and an eternity of propaganda is hard to shake off.

it’s very cyclical, and aziraphale has yet to realize that it’s not the other angels who are the problem, but that the system itself is corrupted. crowley has had a chance to realize that because he fell; he’s asked questions; he’s seen both sides. aziraphale’s love for crowley and his strong desire to be a good angel, to fix the world and do something right, are in direct conflict with each other, because aziraphale still has hope—even if it is his downfall. he wants to be with crowley, but he also wants crowley to not be dammed because he thinks that will keel crowley safe, and that they’ll be able to be together without any consequences. and he wants to help people. that’s literally who he is—not to mention the fact that he’s a people pleaser, and if god’s voice offers you a job that would finally give you control over your life and allow you to protect the person you love, of course you would take it.

and god we fucking better get that season 3 because i think that’s going to be aziraphale’s character arc finally breaking down the wall and realizing what he’s been too scared to believe all these years: that nothing is black and white, and the whole system is broken, and he can’t just press a button to make everything right. no matter how much he wants to.
