And they just encompass their decades as people

And Liu Kang would be so reminiscent of the 80s glam rock and hair bands and all

And then you'd have Kung Lao, who, even though him and Liu are similar ages, he'd be like a solid mix of 80s/90s

Wildcat and their silly Earthrealmer Boyfriend, Connor

So, my basic thought here is that sometimes random natural portals open between the realms and oops folks fall through sometimes. When Earthrealmers fall through, they usually don't survive (because Outworld and the Netherrealm are fucking death worlds) but if they do they can't usually return home to a normal life. Outworld changes you man.

However, sometimes you, like Connor, are a Lucky Son Of A Bitch and get chosen by a weird mean cat person and you don't have to do terrible things to live in Outworld

Wildcat found him passed out in the desert and, with Nyra's help, nursed him back to health. They took an immediate liking to him, while he was honestly more concerned with the "WHAT THE FUCK" factor of Outworld

The trio does eventually find a way to send him home, but he decided against it. He likes traveling with them and it beats paying taxes

Time of Revolutions - The Hidden

Reptile watched the Black Dragon drag the Cyber-Lin Kuei towards their waiting transport at the edge of the plateau. Earthrealmers and their affinity for iron constructs was such a worrisome talent that the Zaterran could just find some admiration for; weak as they are, they find ways to compromise. With a bounding leap, the invisible assassin landed on the ramp. The flowing debris revealed his camouflaged appearance, causing one thug a start. 

“What is that!?” 

That was all the fool had time for before a projectile of rippling mucus and dirt slammed into his chest, sending him flying and sucked into the transport’s wheeling blades, spraying gore as Reptile appeared in his human guise. Eyes of murderous gild as he closed the distance between himself and the other thugs. Firearms were attempted to be drawn before brutality was assured.

One lightning-fast spin kick nearly snapped the first thug’s neck, carrying his momentum to vault over the payload and double-kick into a second. Spiraling on a hand, Reptile’s heel crashed into the third’s skull. The scalp crumbled before his face followed suit in one ruthless straight kick, sending the gurgling body tumbling.

In his low crouch over his prize, Reptile sneered and looked to each fallen - the second thug being the only useful one as he dismounted and approached. 

“Speak, Earthrealmer, and I may let you live. What are you doing with these constructs? Why do they intrude in Outworld affairs?” He hissed, reaching to snatch the human up as he tried to gain some sense of what just happened. Eyes focusing on the apparent ninja, adrenaline took any smart from the murderous thug as he already made for a swing. 

The Zaterran jerked his head back and, with a firm grab on the Black Dragon’s coat, drove his knee so firm up into the groin that the once masculine voice squealed like a pig. “Don’t make me ask again, wretch.” He warned with the green saliva drooling through his mask’s slits.

Then the debris spurred harder, distracting them both. At first, Reptile thought it was the aircraft trying to take off, and he turned to see it was being pulled by a sandstorm. Trying to save his prisoner, the Saurian tossed the dragon over to the disabled cyber-ninja and pinned him down. The aircraft attempted to lift off, but it only ensured its fate of being yanked into the storm. From it, a number of new cyber ninjas stepped out, led by a more…distinctive model of violet color and constantly licked with discolored energy. 

Its visors look and focus on Reptile.

“Kronika?” Reptile questioned, stepping out with an instinct warning himself otherwise. “I do not know such a name, but none demand of me nor expect absolution. Not anymore.” 

<<THEN YOU WILL BE SUBDUED OR TERMINATED.>> The leading cyber-ninja informed before its lesser warriors charged. From the still-whirling storm, a glaive suddenly whirled itself and swept past the first two cyber-ninja’s shoulders, disappearing as their heads fell. In the same motion, the reacting cyborgs spun around, frozen in a quickly-solidifying mucus. 

 Out of the storm, two newcomers emerge; both garbed in almost primitive gi of wild making, eyes gleaming so familiar yet strange. The female watching her star-shaped glaive, her form beautiful and tall like an Edenian yet so…uncanny, her companion mirrored the same alien beauty. A mane of almost transparent silver hair flowing from her head, and her pale eyes flicked. In response, the other flourished his arms in crisp, cut motion before rippling fluids emerged from his flesh and black claws to unleash a crackling arc of green lightning that exploded the frozen cyborg into sizzling shards, puncturing into their comrades. 

Reptile found himself gawking in awe; something in his very soul screamed in joyous rapture. “It…can’t be.” 

The commanding Lin Kuei clenched its fists at this new development before sending its minions off to handle this. The female flicked her hand out, extending a staff and itself flare out a spider-like axehead, and met the enemy into kombat in one cleaving sweep.

<<THESE INTERLOPTERS WILL NOT STOP WHAT IS TO COME. THEY ARE BUT ECHOES OF THE PAST; YOU MAY YET BE THEIR FUTURE.>>

“I grow tired of sorcerous words, robot. And I grow tired of you,’ Reptile sneered, feeling a surge of savage aggression and vigor he hadn’t felt in a long time, and he accepted it all as he snapped into his fighting stance, “FIGHT!”

I’ve complained in the past that there’s not a lot of Bi-Han content outside of what I make(though there’s been a ton of new fanart lately and I’m super excited about that thank you loves!) but then I think about how there must be people out there who are horny for kharacters like Delia, Wu Lae, Hydro and y’all weep for them. On the one hand there’s so little kanon content you can basically make the kharacter look and act however you want but at the same time you have to make everything yourself. As someone who has made a shit ton of Bi-Han content I understand how exhausting that is so like my heart goes out to y’all who have even more neglected favorites. You’re loved even if the kommunity doesn’t love your blorbo. 💕
