All I'm saying is that Sora canonically has three clones, and two of them are girls, so somebody has to be trans in this equation, there’s no way around it

i kinda wonder if luxu had the ability to mess with baldr’s memories and make him think he had successfully killed him. because if baldr knew bragi was still alive he’d of course go after him, both for the sake of shutting him up and completing his thirteen darknesses. baldr keeps talking as if bragi is one of eleven people he’s already killed and we see a clip of baldr taking the guy down as he’s bragging about his kills, but that of course didn’t really happen.
and while the darkness could have very much messed with baldr’s memories of other things in the past, it would have no reason to make him think his plan was complete when it wasn’t- having a piece missing would be a hindrance to it. but not to luxu and our heroes. and we have no clue just how potentially powerful the guy could be.
imagine if baldr had actually successfully killed xehanort and eraqus and then it just. didn’t work. kh wasn’t summoned for some reason. either he would think the plan was actually faulty from the start and it was all for nothing, and then give up. world saved. or he might realize he must be a piece or two short and go on an absolute rampage trying to kill anyone he could find. bit of a gamble

hi hello i hope you don't mind but Special Interest Infodump Mode has been activated please keep hands and feet inside the vehicle at all times-
this explanation comes to us courtesy of Dark Road! You know, that cutesy little mobile game where literally the whole cast except the two protagonists dies. This is on brand bc the explanation has it's own fridge horror levels to it if i think too hard about it tbh.
So, worlds have hearts. We've known this since KH1, seen what happens to a world that loses its heart, and how they can be affected. It's rarely been expounded on beyond that however, aside vague allusions to the titular Kingdom Hearts being/harboring the Heart of All Worlds.
(which has. other implications now that i think about it but that's stepping into theorising territory. im sorry im trying really hard to stay on track honest)
fast forward to Dark Road, where we have a bunch of kids venturing out into the worlds for the first time, and as such have to have things explained to them (and thus the audience). NOW i will note here that KH looooooves unreliable narrators and characters imparting incorrect information without knowing it, so there is always the possibility that this could later turn out to be wrong, but currently I see no reason this would be the case and thus for now i feel safe in taking their words at face value unless otherwise contradicted.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Why are there no people? Because each world is alive, and after the Keyblade War sundering THE World into MANY Worlds, each needed to recover and restore what was lost; life, time, movement.
Tumblr media
This bit here is important, bc as a result
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
All of this is the direct result of the Keyblade War of old. Even after so much time, the bits of worlds are *still* recovering, and I do think there's something to be said about how like... the repition between worlds and their apparent stagnation often *stops* after Sora visits them. I don't think it's because Sora's special(tm), but rather just because of who he is; the Dark Road kids are told never to interfere, and as a result the worlds they visit that Sora also visits later are exactly the same to Sora as they were 80+ years before.
But when Sora visits the same world only a short time after his first visit, things CHANGE. Hercules' story moves forward, Simba is having a crisis about being king, Jack Skellington has learned his lesson about Christmas and is on to new shenanigans. And that's only in kh2! in kh3 we see Twilight Town fill with people, barren Olympus expands into a full town (and there's more there too with BBS and how the Wayfinder Trio may have been Olympus' start towards restoring itself completely, and Sora's later arrival more speeding things along)
my point here is *connections*, which is a consistant and overarching theme of the series. Empty worlds are baby worlds, still healing and restoring from being broken away from the rest, and what helps along that healing? Being connected to others.
Which is to say that the keyblade weilder's doctrine of 'do not interfere' while most certainly well-intentioned (as Dark Road also points out, one persons darkness is anothers light, and morality is not a solid truth across worlds, so interfering is risky at best and dangerous at worst), the flip side to this is that without being connected, without that ''interferance'', the world's restoration stagnates and struggles. It will still get there eventually (the Tangled world seems to be doing alright for example), but chances are it might've been a little easier/faster if someone had done a little interfering.
tldr keyblade war broke the worlds and reset them all to zero. As the worlds heal time stops until it's People finally pop back into existance and their stories can resume. And that's how the invisible crowds in early kh games are canon.

Excuse the YouTuber in the corner I'm too lazy to switch to a different video but, it's probably a pretty easy conclusion to come to that KH might function off a somewhat stable time loop but nothing has really made it feel blatantly obvious than realizing that actually, since Ansem SoD sent Young Xehanort to Scala, that would mean there would have to be a starting timeline where the first SoD went back to start the loop, meaning there has to be a timeline where Xehanort never left Destiny Islands MEANING there has to be a timeline where SoD never existed, and as such neither did Xemnas and Terranort never happened along with basically everything else. So are we in fact confirming that KH does indeed function off a stable timeloop that never truly "started" somewhere and has just always been this way, or what in the world could have happened to still lead Xehanort to Scala without interference? Cuz now I have to wonder, if we're going by stable timeloop, then either Sora creates the tear in time every loop effectively creating endless ones over and over which could lead to a bigger problem(or not a problem at all if it's supposed to happen??) OR this is somehow the first deviation, which doesn't feel likely considering obviously Quadratum and Srelitizia being there seems to be decidedly factored into the equation here, but maybe I'm wrong. Maybe it hasn't been. Or maybe the problem is that Sora's genuinely not supposed to be there. Idk where I'm going anymore, but basically if time started somewhere and it hasn't always been a loop, how did we get HERE to the point in the screenshot where SoD/practically everything was able to exist to "create itself" essentially??? And I don't think that's possible without outside intervention, so it's gotta be a stable timeloop!

(Major spoilers for KHDR)
One thing that struck me about Dark Road was how practical and realistic the writing felt at times, avoiding common story cliches. Three examples come to mind:
The All-Knowing Magic Mirror: In many stories, when the main characters find an object as overpowered as this, they use it maybe once to solve some specific problem, and then the next moment, completely forget that this super convenient object exists. Usually this happens because the writers don’t want the characters to have the ability to solve every single obstacle or conflict with such an object (it’d be a very boring story otherwise), and maybe the writers either forgot or didn’t care to write in an explanation for why this object never gets mentioned again. But in Dark Road, not only do the characters use the mirror twice, they discuss going back to use it a third time. Who wouldn’t? It only makes sense. Obviously it is Xehanort who ends up providing a logical plot reason for why they can’t use the mirror anymore, but even then we get to see how Eraqus and Bragi go back to try anyway. Because something that powerful is still worth pursuing as an option in their eyes, plot contrivances be damned.
The Magic Carpet: When I first saw the scene of the magic carpet trying to discretely follow after Xehanort, Hermod, and Urd at a distance, I thought this was going to lead to that one type of gag where the main characters have a super delayed reaction to something weird and shocking, and then have an over-the-top “Whaaaaaaat!?” type of response when it finally hits them. But no, the characters look back at the carpet, and then have a completely calm discussion about it. Which makes sense! They’re keyblade wielders for one, they know that magic exists and that each of the outside worlds has their own unique order and laws of nature. Plus, like Hermod mentions, they’ve already been to Wonderland, where a bunch of animated poker cards are running around. It’d be really silly and out of character if this scene was written the more “typical comedy” way, and let’s face it, the gag they went for instead was way funnier.
Vor and Baldr at the End: We’ve seen scenes like this so many times in all sorts of media, even in KH! A character gets killed by the bad guy, dies in someone’s arms, manages to have a 5 minute monologue despite being in the process of passing away, and then the bad guy just stands awkwardly ten feet away off screen, not even trying to get a sneak attack on the heroes as they sit there with their backs turned to them. But Vor only has a couple of lines of short dialog before she goes, and Baldr? When the camera pans back to him, he’s moved to a different position in the room and is casually leaning up against the window, right next to Xehanort and Eraqus, like he decided not to interfere because watching them suffer as their friend died was entertainment to him. And also because Baldr is so confident in his ability to kill them that he doesn’t feel the need to take advantage of their vulnerability in this moment.
I loved Dark Road so much that I actually felt compelled to read the credits for once in order to see who was responsbile for the story writing for this game, and lo and behold, Tomoco Kanemaki, the KH light novelist who helped intimately with Days’ story (which is possibly my favorite story in the entire series), was among the names. I wonder if this more natural and realistic sort of writing was her influence? If so, I really hope she keeps on returning to write for more KH games in the future.

Something we don’t talk enough about is the fact that the folklaw of the paopu fruit isn’t inherently romantic (And before I go any further I want to make clear that this is not trying to discredit ships or claim kairi and sora are not in love. You ship what you ship and I’ll ship what I ship and never the two shall interfere.).
The fact of the matter is, that what we hear about the folk law of the fruit is this:
“If two people share one, their destinies become intertwined. They’ll remain a part of each others lives no matter what.” - Riku, KH1
NOW! I am aware that within the context of the scene rRku is teasing sora over his crush on Kairi - anyone with eyes could see that. However, despite the obvious romantic ideal of having a shared destiny, it is not a wholly romance based idea.
You could share the fruit with just about anyone you knew if you wanted to be in their lives forever. Say, a best friend or a family member, or a particularly precious family pet.
Anyone you wanted to stay with, you could share one with.
Which raises a question about this mystical fruit. Is it’s sharing symbolic in KH law or is Namora really out here basing the entirety of sora’s connection to his friends on the basis of -what essentially boils down to- a magical star shaped mango?
The way I see it is that Sora’s intention to share the Paopu with Kairi can absolutely be read as romantic. The narrative clues are there, we can see them. However, arguably Sora has just as much reason to share the paopu with all of his friends as he does with her.
His fate is so intrinsically intertwined with that of ventus, Roxas and Xion, That he could share one with them. He has deep connections with Donald and Goofy, that he holds incredibly dear to him. After all his friends are his power, his strength to carry on. So he could share one with them.
He spent so long looking for, finding, loosing, and looking all over again for Riku, that he has every reason to share one with his best friend, even if it simply means never loosing sight of him again.
Sora’s motivations to share one with kairi may stem from romance, but that doesn’t make the law of the fruit specifically romantic.
In a way the paopu fruit is a bit like a pinky swear. It’s a promise to never loose sight of the other person and to share their destiny with the other person.
Perhaps the magic goes simply as deep as the intention of sharing one or the visualisation. Perhaps in simply handing a person the fruit with the intent to share is enough to bind one another.
The only three people that we ever see holding the fruit are Kairi, Sora and Riku. Perhaps that is where the bond starts.
In KH 1 Riku throws the fruit to Sora, who catches it. That is, in itself an act of sharing. In the cave sora draws himself feeding kairi and she then draws herself feeding him. That is an intent to share.
Therefore, by this logic, Sora is inextricably linked to both of them. Because they, all three, passed the fruit/ visualised passing the fruit to another.
And I can hear you say, ah yes, but flo, Riku and Kairi never shared a paopu in any capacity. And, dear reader you’d be right. However, they both shared one in different capacities with Sora, and thus are both linked to him, and by extension each other.
Now, Riku and Kairi are a odd little conundrum that has often bothered me. They are friends, they obviously care for one and other. And in KH1 it’s clear that there’s a little bit of show boating going on between the boys as to who can impress Kairi more.
Its something Naminé plays on in CoM, and it’s obvious that at one point or another, Riku’s priorities were the same as Sora’s. Protect Kairi. Yet, there is an extremely noticeable point at which that changes.
That place being Rikus journey in CoM. It is here that Riku shifts his focus from protecting Kairi to protecting Sora.
There are many reasons and possible theories for this. If your are on this app as frequently as I think you are then you probably know about most of them. So I’m not going to delve too deep into that one.
The point remains though, that Kairi and Riku’s destinies both diverge/ and converge at the same time. On the one hand, they diverge as Riku moves his focus from protecting her and making up for his actions as Ansam’s puppet; while simultaneously converging on one single fixed point that is their only meaningful connection to each other for the entire story.
Sora.
He is what binds them together, he is their destiny and he is what intertwined their destiny’s with each other.
Sora -as mushy as it sounds- is their star shaped fruit. They chose to share the paopu with him and thus inadvertently shared him between them. They both hold a piece of his destiny and his heart. Regardless of what you ship that can’t be denied.
Because the folk law of the paopu fruit is not an inherently romantic.

the lore behind Space Paranoids in Kingdom Hearts 2 is so funny to me
because it's not 'the KH-verse version of the Grid', it is, in-universe, a direct copy of ENCOM's system, and presumably a direct copy taken before the events of TRON (given the presence of Sark and the MCP)
Ansem the Wise went out into the cosmos, found the most boring world (because all the interesting stuff happening there was happening inside the computer system, and he was unaware of that), and stole their computer system without really understanding how it works and installed it in Radiant Garden
meanwhile that world spins on, the events of the TRON movies play out, Flynn developing the Grid, the spontaneous evolution of the ISOs, Clu 2.0 flipping his shit and taking over, all that - this world does have a sleeping version of itself (which isn't necessarily an indication that it fell to darkness like a lot of the others, as Traverse Town didn't), which Riku and Sora pass through on their Mark of Mastery exam and get to live through the events of Legacy (though because this happens in the Sleeping World version of the Grid, and not the real one, in that world the events of Legacy play out pretty much how they did in the movie with no interference)
like all the interesting stuff is happening inside the technology of this world (and in the context of Kingdom Hearts's lore, Programs being alive and having emotions is a key plot point, especially for DDD, playing into the key theme of how beings of artificial origins can still become 'real'. shame they didn't explore the absolute lore bomb ISOs like Quorra would bring to the table, given they weren't created but just sprang into existence in the Grid), but on the surface (and presumably how you'd access it in the world map), this is just a regular world filled with office buildings and houses and corporate espionage
so its canonical - if unseen - existence in Kingdom Hearts's whimsical cosmology is funny as hell

Priestess Origins | DC OC

Priestess, the Azarathian Nephilim.
Avaritia Avarice is an empathic sorceress who lived in the pacifist realm of Azarath. She was raised by her agricultural chief father, Micah and one of the few children educated under Azar — the leader of Azarath. From all she had learned, Ava would go on an adventurous journey on Earth to discover WHO she is – in bringing hope and joy wherever she walked – as her mother once did...
Voiced by Isabela Moner (Ava: KH)
___________________________
Physical Appearance:
Honey brown hair (lengthen inches above her chest, with highlighted tips).
Yellow irises.
Light peach skin.
Petite.
___________________________
Our story begins fourteen years ago, an ethereal being wandered the Earth in the eyes of humanity: Gabrielle, an Angel of Justice, sought to save the poor innocents of humankind. Gabrielle was commonly known as a healer, a caretaker to all who meet her. No one would know who she was. Many claimed she was a woman of prayer, who was praised by God for her loyalty to her religious beliefs.
She was no vigilante, but a woman of virtue.
No one knew what exactly her goal was to all the good she gave to the unfortunate within humanity.
But from all she was doing, she was a hero.
But this day of rescue was different...
Gabrielle came across Angela Roth, a pregnant woman who found her sanctuary in the alleys of Gotham. She watched over the timid woman. She paitently waited for Angela to approach, to find she was without a home. But upon closer exposure, Gabrielle sensed an evil presence in the woman: The child being said force. She came to realize that Angela was impregnated by a powerful demon. One who had used the poor woman fooled into a cult.
Gabrielle knew the trouble that stirred between Angela and her child, willing to stay with the woman to assure both of them were safe. In turn, she would later flee in contact to a different dimension...
Azarath, a realm of peace and tranquility.
The angel had once stayed in Azarath in her younger years. It's leader and Goddess Azar, taught her inner peace when she too felt troubled in her virtuous existence. She convinced the Goddess to take in Angela, recollecting the timid woman back with her with the monks help.
From then, she would serve to protect Angela, even when the realm turned dark, fiddled by fear with Raven's birth.
But stepping in a dark road, led to dangerous consequences...
Gabrielle and her Azarathian agricultural lover Micah, had begun to start a family. The two would be excited lovers who waited against the lingering worry in the air. She would watch over the renamed woman, Arella in her separation from Raven. Azar taking the child under her wing put much doubt in Arella's mind, heaving her hopes. But Gabrielle was quick to assure the former bride,
"Sweet Angela, thy daughter will rise from the ashes of sin. All those here will guide Raven to a remarkable path."
She would keep her sacred promise to watch over the two victims of the demon, countlessly in belief that Raven will forge a path that may divide her blood. To see the lonely life the young demon bore, she chose to offer a gift the future children, what Azarath could forbid her to do...
The gift of a true friend.
By the joyous moment Gabrielle gave birth to the child she affectionately named, Avaritia, it quickly turned into worry – Gabrielle recieved a terrifying vision: Trigon had threatened her life and tempted to take Ava's in spite of the angel. His agitation with her interference between his family had grown with murderous intent, sensing Gabrielle to be a threat to his plans to rule Earth.
To protect her loved ones from this threat, Gabrielle would initiate a sacred ritual – Her soul would split a third half of itself — One part resided in the young Avaritia Avarice. To act as a shield and a force of angelic empowerment. She gave another part to Raven, offering her a pure force that could cleanse the tempting demons inside her. Both children would be protected under her influence.
Three months after her ritual, with her plan had been set – Gabrielle disappeared from the face of Azarath, diverting Trigon away from the realm. Never to be seen again...
Gabrielle's Story: COMPLETED.
Avaritia was raised in this pacifistic reality and taught the ways in the Temple of Azar. She was taught to balance her spiritual energy by the Azarathian monks in order to utilize her gifted therapeutic powers. Ava would learn to master spirituality, meditation, the power to heal and dimensional travel. Among her teachings, she learned most from the Goddess Azar and eagerly studied to perfect her abilities with great precision.
While eager to train her everyday abilities, Ava felt a sense of loneliness in the realm. Azarath had not been very populated with children. Ava being one of the 2% of them that exist. She longed to find companionship and find a friend among her people.
And she found that possible... through Raven.
Raven was another student under Azar's teachings. Avaritia was hardly able to speak with the girl, because most of her lessons were much personal than her own. This only peaked her interest. The girl grew curious and snuck out to meet the half-demon, which the two slowly grown a rather reluctant bond over their lonely endeavor. They'd snuck out frequently from the brink of night: They'd discuss about their lives and reveal their inner thoughts, getting the two closer to a secret friendship.
To say Raven being curious about her father... was an understatement (DCAMU).
Avaritia — 6 – 7 Years old.
Avaritia knew Raven had trouble fitting in Azarath. She was half-demon, the daughter of a rather evil force forbidden of these monks. Raven was eager to please others, even Azar, despite being told not to feel any emotion. It felt like an impossible task. For Azar to soon die of age, caused her to feel heartbroken. A sorrow she never felt before. Avaritia knew Raven was determined to channel her sadness through clarity.
She had faith in her friend.
She believed in her.
Had she thought this might not end so well? It was a risk Ava couldn't determine the outcome. But when it did, it broke them both in more ways than one:
Avaritia — 8 Years Old.
Avaritia survived unscathed of Trigon's attack – but watched helplessly as Micah was disintegrated with many others of the realm — Until all what was left of Azarath were ruins of destruction. While Raven had been taken away to Trigon's hellish dimension, Avaritia was left alone in the destroyed realm. Unscathed and traumatized by the horrifying events unfolded before her.
The Ring of Azar was an artifact gifted to Avaritia by Azar at her death bed, given to those who studied under her wing. A jewelry enchanted with protection. She was among the little few who had them – Aside from Raven – that kept her alive.
She would constantly wait for weeks. Followed by months, Avaritia would continue to fight her chance of survival. Resources were limited in Azarath now with Azar deceased. Water went from being the only source that kept her alive in the brink of her starvation. Despite her physically frail state, Ava would pray and continue all her studies she could remember in hopes to leave the realm. But at her emotionally unstable state of mind, she could hardly go anywhere. She forced herself to hope for anyone to save her. For anyone to bring her out of the ruins that would remind her what she lost. To remind her what was left, she could hope for the best.
This would last for nearly a year, where Avaritia would reach her dying point: If not for a ritual to teleport her to another world – Earth.
Avaritia — 9 – 10 Years Old.
Avaritia found help in the Teen Titans, led by the former Robin, Nightwing (Dick Grayson). These teenage heroes would restore her back to health and offer her a home with the group.
Although, because of her young age, she would remain in the tower as a healer when her friends return from battle and educate herself of her mystical powers, in her path to become an honorary Teen Titan.
It was also during that time where Ava would've had a troubling reunion with Raven. The two sorceresses worked through various episodes challenging their friendship, slowly growing back to the bond they had from the damage done to them years ago...
Throughout her journey,
Avaritia has learned to keep her faith in humanity and to herself, becoming a attentive ally and friend to others. She would later follow and assist Damian in his past between "Justice, not vengeance", being a supportive friend when he needed it most.
Within her journey, she would continue to fight against all evil, purify and see the good in most people. She would occcasionally help other heroes in occult-related trouble.
With the blood to one of Heaven's most celestial angels and the Azarathian mystics educated throughout the years,
Avaritia would host a vast variety of mystical powers. She would become a divine, angelic force against various otherwordly foes. It is possible that once trained well, Ava can reach to a great universal level of power, enough to last against foes like the almighty Trigon, as her mother once had.
Arch–Nephilim Physiology.
Angelic Aura (yellow).
Sonic Cry. Avaritia can emit a glass-shattering cry that targets the hearing of her enemies, numbing her target's senses momentarily.
Superhuman Durability. Due to her angelic heritage, Avaritia is capable of withstanding most human conditions. Demonic sources are an exception as they've proven to weaken her momentarily.
Enhanced Stamina.
Inhuman Strength.
Superhuman Speed. She can move and react faster than most in mere seconds. Although, her momentum is what makes her speed more efficient when on the offensive. Her speed is less than the means of the speed force, but is still an adaptable skill for her when tamed with her environment.
Quick Reflexes.
Regeneration.
Extrasensory Perception.
Cosmic Awareness.
Reality Clarification.
Clairvoyance.
Holy–Fire Manipulation.
🕊 White Magic. Avaritia is naturally gifted with the purest forms of magic, which has proven to exceed even her mother's abilities to a greater degree.
Animancy.
Divination.
Prayer Casting.
Holy Voice.
Blessings.
Protection.
Restoration.
Abjurations.
Angel Sense.
Purification.
Sanctification.
Primordial Photokinesis. As a relative of the Presence, Avaritia developed a unique gift to manipulate light of the universe. Her soul can encase itself into a reckoning force that'll blind and purify other beings.
Purified Power Link.
Barriers.
Blasts.
Constructs.
Light Externalization.
Happiness.
Compassion.
Courage.
Humility.
Hope.
Life.
Love.
Photokinetic Immunity.
Sacred Blood. Avaritia's (golden) angel blood was used for various rituals and spells, a powerful source to her mystical arts. It's proven powerful, in fact, that she can use it to heal others of various injuries and poison, as well as protection from the undead, burning them in reaction to it.
Animation.
Holy Smite.
Blood Projection.
Healing.
Telekinesis.
Spell Casting.
Blood Magic.
Power Bestowal.
Curse Removal.
Poison Effects. Effective to demons, undead, etc.
Acidic Effects.
Disintegration.
Exorcism. She's learnt the art of exercising spirits from their hosts and forcing them back where they belong. Although, because of her purity, it is noted she could also cleanse restless spirits of their sins and wrongs and comune them to finish what they started, giving her an advantage streak on supernatural foes.
Banishment.
Soul Trapping.
Salvation.
Communing.
Mirror Empathy. Avaritia can replicate the feelings, physical sensations and psychological perspectives of living-beings. These sensations react as her own and are drawn to sensitivity in response. This simply puts herself in other people's shoes without talking or invasive reading needed as tools no longer matter once those feelings are detected. It has constantly helped her find the patience in the roughest people and allow them to come to her when needed without confrontation, listening into what they feel instead of mentioning it, because it's who she is in tune to this ability. This does tend to be unpredictable to react as pain and emotions from loved ones can be directed to her without warning, making her vulnerable to attacks, and causing unintentional links as well.
Clairempathy.
Visual Empathy.
Empathic Echoes.
Recognition.
Precognition.
Telepathy.
Psychic Link.
Mind Reading.
Thought Projection.
Dream Walking.
Lightside View.
Benevolence Release.
Positive Empowerment.
Azarath Spiritualism.
Mysticism.
Prayer Casting.
Guidance.
Holographic Projection.
Spiritual Meditation.
Personal Shield.
Clear Mind.
Dimensional Travel
Although, while a powerful half-angelic sorceress,
Avaritia doesn't have the invulnerability to match against a few superheroes of strength most humans or metahumans have, she'd rely on either her incantations or spells that'll keep her defended. But it can also deliver other consequences from both sides.
1. Blood Draining takes part in Ava's healing process, her doses of her angelic blood being used to assist in both defense and offensive purposes. However, this can be drained with just enough amount used per time. It causes her to get dizzy and weak, being highly effective to Ava's health and stability. Depending on the longer she uses her blood magic for a fight, the further it may put her at risk.
Skin turns cold + pale.
Chills.
Physically "Numb".
Possibly faint to blood loss.
2. Physical touch is key to healing and gaining visions of said person. While useful, it can place her in a dangerous position to an enemy. She needs a trusted person with her to make sure she isn't in harm's way during said process.
Needed for healing.
Exchanges memories.
May leave her vulnerable to enemy attacks.
3. Faith is a majority bound to Avaritia's magic. She must have faith in the ways of her mentors to perform her various feats. Without faith, can lead to her being powerless and potentially at dangerous stakes.
Uses incantations to cast various spells taught by the Goddess, Azar.
Also requires belief and confidence.
May deem her powerless.
Can be corruptible to demonic/evil/dark influence (hence Trigon).
4. Inexperience has proven to limit Ava's extent of her full potential. While she has learned to harness her array of therapeutic abilities, she doesn't yet understand the full capacity to her holy power. Because of this, Ava can be overwhelmed when faced with greater power through emotion or toward a much experienced threat. She years to learn more under Raven's and Gabrielle's guidance, so that if she learned her highest form of power, she'd be able to help all of Earth and all beyond it.
Primordial Darkness users are capable of overwhelming Ava.
Omnimalevolence (empowered beings of evil) users are dangerously immune to her positive charms.
Other angelic figures (Micheal Dimerguos, Elaine Belloc, Lucifer Morningstar, the Presence) could render her useless.
__________________________
Vulnerable Traits.
Lacks physical strength, which can be used to advantage by stronger, more combatic experienced foes.
Avaritia gains tremors on her hands whenever she's extremely nervous, which can be noticeable when provoked. It's most common when she goes on team missions in dark, enclosed spaces. This indicates a minor fear, aka: Claustrophobia.
Allergic (fears) to rodents.
She is farsighted.
Avaritia's empathy is strictly in tune to a sensory factor that is Mirror Touch Synesthesia: Depending on who she sees/interacts with, she can gain both emotional and physical sensations of those people and become quite sensitive in reaction as well.

Birthday: May 11.
Sign: Taurus (Earth)
MBTI: ISTP (The Virtuoso/Giver: Type 2).
CONNECTIONS:
💚 (Familial):
Raven (Best friend/Sister figure/mentor)
Gabrielle, Angel of Justice (Mother)
Micah Avarice (Father)
Azar (Mentor/Grandmother figure)
💔 (Complicated):
Gabrielle (As much as she loves her mother, she... still has trouble forgiving her leaving at an early time).
Terra (Friend/Former Teammate: They had a rocky start. Both are polar opposites in general. Ava was deeply worried but all the more furious to find Terra had backstabbed the team. Yet deep down, above everything else, she wanted to see the best in her).
💛 (Friends):
Starfire (Leader/Mentor: Always encourages her to never lose confidence).
Nightwing (Former leader/brother figure: Want a hug? Dick gives the best hugs).
Beast Boy (Friend/Teammate: He always managed to crack a laugh from her, no matter how down she felt).
Blue Beetle (Best friend/Teammate: Ava could relate to Jaime's familial problems. She has abandonment issues over her mother's up-and-left situation).
(Scarab doesn't really like her much like how he is with the others, in general. He's getting used to her at a slow pace).
💘 (Romantic Interest?):
Damian Wayne (Best friend: At first, their similar attitudes toward each other was what ticked them off on numerous occasions. However, it was also because of their behaviors that actually made them warm up to each other in time. He's very loyal and assertive, determined to stay by her side through the trials they faced as teammates coming to terms with friendship. Ava secretly admires this, as it is rare for him to show his softer side. She won't admit it, though).
💢 (Enemies):
Trigon (Ava fears and hates Trigon to the bitter of her body, being the destroyer of her home and her loved ones. Her desire to protect drove her to the grave efforts she's willing to take protecting the new bonds she made on Earth, even his own daughter. Ava would constantly battle Trigon in his attempts to conquer Raven's soul with the mastery of her abilities at work).

Ok ok, so I have a (possibly bad) theory that isn’t really a theory but more my brain trying to figure stuff out
So, ever since Kingdom Hearts III, I’ve kinda been wondering, in the back of my messy, messy mind, why Ephemera helped (? I’m guessing he was the one leading the fallen kids, at least) Sora at the Keyblade Graveyard.
I mean, I get why, big heartless storm, xehanort being xehanort, xehanort being Ephemera’s descendent (that was kinda confirmed right? I don’t remember for sure) which kinda makes him his responsibility a bit, yada yada yada.
It’s more like, why didn’t he do it before. Like, it’s not the first confrontation against old man Xehanort chronogically in the series. Why didn’t Ephemera help at the confrontation at the end of BBS? I mean, Ven was his friend, surely he’d want to help him not, you know, die or even just get turned into a weapon of mass destruction? (I gotta mention: Vanitas gets helped by the fallen kids’ keyblades during that confrontation iirc, so was that because of the darkness? Because he used to be part Ventus so he kinda counts as a union leader? Why wasn’t Ven helped by the keyblades then? Did Ephemera try to help Ven but accidentally chose the wrong one (oopsie teehee, oh well, better luck next time)? Anyways that’s weird and has always bothered me ever since I knew whose keyblades those were)
One of the explanations I can see for Ephemera no helping then is that Xigbar was running interference or something. I guess he didn’t interfere in KH III because of the Book of Prophecies or something, idk. Maybe Ephemera also didn’t act because of something in the Book of Prophecies, idk, I’m just trying to find some explanations
(Actual theory under the cut ahah)
But yeah, anyways, my bad theory
It came to me, as I was eating tortellini in the dark at 11:30 PM after taking a longer-than-planned 5 hours nap, what if… Sora was Ephemera’s reincarnation? Ok ok that’s a really shaky theory, I’ll admit it, but I don’t control was goes on in that brain (ahah, Brain) of mine
In any case, back to what I was saying, tortellini, 5 hour nap, Sora is maybe Ephemera’s reincarnation, ok, right, yes, back on track. So, Ephemera totally, very definitely died, right? It’s been like, a couple of centuries most likely, so he is either super dead, some kind of ghost just haunting the Keyblade Graveyard, or he’s the world’s oldest grandpa. From what we’ve seen in khux, when someone dies (or at least a keyblade wielder) for realsies (kingdom hearts death tends to be, ha, ephemeral), they either become a dream eater or they go in the reincarnation cycle or whatever (from what I remember at least, it’s been a minute). So either Ephemera turned into a cute colourful animal that 100% deserves a pet, or he went on to reincarnate, ya know?
(He could have also said ‘fuck you rules of the universe, I never liked you anyways’ and created a third option for himself out of sheer will. If anyone could, it would be him)
But yeah anyways, that could explain why he only shows up, cool red scarf swaying in the wind anime style, to Sora. Like, maybe a small tiny part of his soul (heart?) remained
It could also explain why Sora’s heart healed Ven’s at the beginning of BBS. There’s the reason that Sora’s heart was a newborn one of course, but if he was Ephemera’s reincarnation, then it’s not hard to believe that he would be drawn in by Ven’s presence.
Also, Ephemera has an association with the color red due to his scarf. You know who else is usually associated with red? Sora (and Lea, whose entire existence is red, but this ain’t about him)
(I have also thought of the possibility that Sora is maybe Ephemera’s descendant instead, but that would mean that he’d be related to Xehanort which is wild, but I do think that that theory is even more shaky than the reincarnation one. Tbh, I think that Riku being Ephemera’s descendant could be more likely, which, again, would make him related to old man Xehanort. Omg i just had an idea for an AU where Riku is actually Xehanort’s son/grandson, but that’s a story for another day i guess)
So, yeah, here’s my bad and unlikely theory. This is my first time making a post of this kind and I still don’t know how tumblr works so I’m very sorry if this looks like an incomprehensible mess. Thanks for reading though :)

To Make a Difference: Part 2
Tumblr media
Hrgh...
*A few weeks pass and Uchui doesn’t leave his lab. After having born witness to the Killing Game through his spyglass, the situation looks bleaker by the minute.
Tumblr media
Come on Uchui...Just now...Do SOMETHING with your pathetic life...FOR ONCE!
*He peeks over.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Since Keebo kept defying the audience, they took a vote and decided...That troublesome personality of his should be erased!
Tumblr media
His personality was erased!?
Tumblr media
...
Tumblr media
H-How cruel can you guys be!? How long are you gonna play with our lives!?
Tumblr media
But that’s the decision of the outside world.
Tumblr media
“Don’t just end Danganronpa! We supported you! You OWE us!”
Tumblr media
That’s what they said! So it doesn’t matter how much you fight! You can’t change the outside world!
Tumblr media
‘Cause the outside world still wants Danganronpa! That won’t change!
Tumblr media
So, do you still want to throw your lives away? Even if it changes nothing?
Tumblr media Tumblr media
...!
*Uchui scrambles around his machines, plugging various wires into various ports, then starts typing something on his computer.
Tumblr media
...It’s hopeless...They can’t...they can’t fight this...They can’t fight the whole world!
*WHAM!*
Tumblr media
COME ON! I’M SO CLOSE! JUST PULL THEM THROUGH!
*Uchui’s new device starts to power up. As he waits for it, he looks back through the spyglass.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Gh...Nrgh...!
Tumblr media
Keebo!
Tumblr media
Keebo!?
Tumblr media
I...can barely...control it...Looks like...this is the end...
Tumblr media
D-Don’t say that! You survived this far!
Tumblr media
I’m...sorry...I could not fight with you...until the end...But...your choice is not wrong...The real enemy is...the outside world, who is enjoying this Killing Game...S-So please...use me...t-to change...
Tumblr media
To change...the...world...!
Tumblr media
...
Tumblr media
Keebo...
Tumblr media
Keebo! Stay with us!
Tumblr media Tumblr media
DAMMMIIIIIIT!
*WHAM!* *WHAM!* *WHAM!*
Tumblr media
I can’t...save them...Why did I ever think I could do anything...!?
Tumblr media
Pathetic as always...Uchui...
Tumblr media
Hngh...
Tumblr media
Did you honestly think you could ever amount to anything...?
Tumblr media
I don’t know...I just...
Tumblr media Tumblr media
He’s completely erased...
Tumblr media
That makes me sad too, y’know? He was a character I created!
Tumblr media
But this is the end. The outside world rejects your decision!
Tumblr media
So no matter how you use your lives, it won’t change anything!
Tumblr media Tumblr media
This world is diseased...rotten to the core...there’s no saving it...
Tumblr media
There’s no...saving...anyone...
Tumblr media
That’s more like it...You should have been acting like this from the-
???: Then...I’ll change it...
Tumblr media
Huh?
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Keebo gave us this one chance!
Tumblr media
If Keebo is doing what the outside world is telling him, we just have to convince him...
Tumblr media
I know we can change the world! We owe it to Keebo to try!
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Change...the world...?
Tumblr media
Th-That’s impossible...So many years of this torment, it won’t just...
Tumblr media Tumblr media
I said it’s impossible! For Fiction to change the real world is-!
Tumblr media
The impossible IS possible! All you’ve gotta do, is MAKE IT SO!
Tumblr media
Kh!?
Tumblr media
You can even...change the world!
Tumblr media
No...we WILL change the world! For ourselves, and everyone who has died!
Tumblr media
You’re going to throw your lives away...for those who have died?
Tumblr media
You fought to SURVIVE this Killing Game! If you die now, it’s all over!
Tumblr media
Even if we die, it’s not the end!
Tumblr media
Our friends who died...gave us their love. And we changed because of that. If we can inspire change in others, then that love will live on.
Tumblr media
That love will tear down the wall between fiction and reality, and it will live on...forever! That’s why I’m going to change the world! As long as I have their love, I will change it!
Tumblr media
Even if this whole story is a lie...
Tumblr media
I will USE that lie to CHANGE THE WORLD!
Tumblr media
Th-That’s right! We’re not gonna just be fiction!
Tumblr media
Shuichi. You can change this world. Because...you’re Kaito’s sidekick.
Tumblr media
There’s no way you can persuade them like that! They all love the Killing Games! They can’t get enough of Danganronpa!
Tumblr media
I’m giving the world what it wants! I won’t let hypocrites interfere!
Tumblr media
Keebo! Let me hear the voices of the outside world! And let them hear me!
Tumblr media
*ZHHHICK!*
Tumblr media
!!?
*Uchui hears a noise and looks over to see his new device powered up. He scrambles over to it and starts pressing a few buttons.
Tumblr media
Right...! YES! I just need to set the parameters to the Killing Game grounds...I-If I do this right, it’ll pull who remains through!
Tumblr media
...!
*He hesitates for a moment, then looks back at the spyglass. Though he can’t see, he can hear the noises of Shuichi and Keebo’s fierce debate.
Tumblr media
...
Tumblr media
“To change the world...huh?”
Tumblr media
...
*He steps away.
Tumblr media
Then again...I suppose it would be a good idea to let it charge up a little more...
Tumblr media
I’ve waited weeks for this...I suppose I can wait a little longer...
Tumblr media
[A few minutes later...]
Tumblr media
Alright, looks like voting is over! Let’s hurry and announce the results.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
...
Tumblr media Tumblr media
I-I didn’t vote. That was the right thing to do, right?
Tumblr media
The three of us might be penalized for abstaining to vote...but what’s going to happen to Keebo and Tsumugi?
Tumblr media
If Keebo is controlled by the outside world, he must have voted for Tsumugi.
Tumblr media
Then what about Tsumugi? If she had cast one vote for Keebo, then it would be a tie, but-
Tumblr media
Oh, there’s no need to worry about that. I didn’t vote either.
Tumblr media
...What?
Tumblr media Tumblr media
I knew it...She doesn’t want to win, she wants Hope to win...
Tumblr media Tumblr media
So, since the four of us abstained from voting, only Keebo’s vote counts. No matter who he voted for, the only one who survives is Keebo...
Tumblr media
So in other words, the winner is Hope!
Tumblr media
...
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Ngh...
*Uchui’s hand instinctively drifts towards the device, but he holds his wrist and keeps himself back.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
But Keebo said earlier that he’d sacrifice himself and take the punishment, right?
Tumblr media
So we’re going to punish him! He’ll be participating in the next Killing Game!
Tumblr media
Hold it! Why are you punishing Keebo!? If Keebo survives, there’s no need for him to be sacrif-
Tumblr media
It doesn’t work like that. He needs to follow through on his words.
Tumblr media
Th-That’s not fair! Are you twisting the rules again!?
Tumblr media
It’s fine, cuz this is all fiction! Maybe it’s a bit forced, but that’s fiction for you, right?
Tumblr media Tumblr media
God dammit...I believe in them, but at this rate, their deaths will be meaningless...
Tumblr media
Maybe she was right...that their lives really didn’t matter to anyone...so why...?
Tumblr media
Why does HE keep smiling like that...?
Tumblr media Tumblr media
...
Tumblr media
Well, we already know the outcome, but we should follow protocol...Monokuma! Please tell us the results!
Tumblr media
Okay! Then let’s begin! Who will be chosen as the blackened!? Who will win - Hope or Despair!?
Tumblr media Tumblr media
...
*Uchui watches in stressful anticipation as the voting board appears. A few seconds that feel like hours pass, and finally, the results are shown.
Tumblr media
...!?
[NO VOTES]
Tumblr media
...No way...!
Tumblr media Tumblr media
What...?
Tumblr media
All five people...abstained from voting?
Tumblr media
Wh-What’s going on!? Didn’t Keebo vote!?
Tumblr media
Phew...I’m relieved.
Tumblr media
H-Huh...!? Why!? What IS this!?
Tumblr media
...The world has changed. If Keebo refused to vote, that means the world has changed. It means the audience chose not to vote as well.
Tumblr media
...They rejected this Killing Game.
Tumblr media
Wh-What!?
Tumblr media
Serves you right! That’s what you get for breaking the rules like that!
Tumblr media
H-Hold on! I-Is that...really ok!? Danganronpa is going to end!? The Killing Game full of tense standoffs and backstabbings amonst friends...
Tumblr media
It’s just going to end abruptly with season 53!? Is that really ok!?
Tumblr media Tumblr media
I don’t believe it...!
*Uchui watches in shock and awe as the audience members tune out one by one, a feeling of pride in Shuichi and the others.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
You never appreciated us...And it looks like you never appreciated the power of fiction! No one wants you anymore! No one wants to hear your sick, twisted stories anymore! It’s over...!
Tumblr media
It’s finished...It really...is the end, isn’t it?
Tumblr media
So what are we going to do now? Now that it’s over, there’s no need for any  punishments.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Yeah!
Tumblr media Tumblr media
What a half-assed ending. This is no way to end Danganronpa.
Tumblr media
No, it needs to end with a punishment...at the very least.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
NO!
*Uchui darts over to the device and powers it on!
Tumblr media
Alright...this is your moment Chewie...Get their signals and...
Tumblr media
Huh?
*He looks at the devices monitor, and notices something odd. Multiple other signals pop up besides Shuichi and the others.
Tumblr media
Hang on...but there’s only...wait a minute...!?
Tumblr media
1...2...5...12...!? 16...!? 16!?
*His eyes dart back and forth between the spyglass and the device. His body starts to jitter with excitement.
Tumblr media
YES! YES YES YEEESS! All my work...IT’S NOT LOST! I CAN SAVE THEM ALL!
Tumblr media Tumblr media
It’s the will of the outside world. Destroy this entire fictional world, and end this Killing Game...That is what the outside world wants.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
...
*Uchui smiles back at the spyglass.
Tumblr media
And kids like you...are what THIS world NEEDS.
Tumblr media
BOOP!
*He presses the button.

I explore the "World Order" in my two big KH fics in different ways. In Destiny Vault, it is revealed in the Arendelle arc that upper class figures have known about the other worlds for a long time, with part of the reveal involving Rapunzel and Eugene meeting the party at Elsa's coronation. (Sora Gibbs-slaps Donald for making him abide by the apparently-pointless World Order afterward.) This ties into the Pirates of the Caribbean arc and has it expand over the whole World space. In a scene I recently wrote, Aqua explains that a Keyblade Master must not override another society’s views and laws on their whims, and they must not interfere with political interest. If someone uses the power of darkness to manipulate events (as was the case in the arc that this conversation caps off), then it is in their jurisdiction, but otherwise all they would be able to do is be diplomatic and try to bring both sides to a peaceful solution; if it had escalated into an ordinary conflict, they would have to sit it out. Needless to say, Sora will struggle with this.
In Heart of Steel, the worlds already know about one another (at least for the most part), so there is no trying not to let on that they are from other worlds. (There will be a bit where King Triton recites the same argument as in the game, but Donald will clarify that the Keyblade Masters eased up on that rule as the worlds intermingled naturally.) Instead, World Order means that you don't impose your will on other cultures when it goes against their laws. (With a jab at the governments that don't abide by that.) On the other hand, the League of Assassins will be addressed as having the strict interpretation of World Order of "keep the worlds separate" as part of their mission statement, but their focus on maintaining their own secrecy means that progress outpaces them.
Oh yeah that tracks actually.

…. Chain him?
KH!Nezha: We don’t have Celestial Chain, though, chaining him might not work…
Tripitaka: Perhaps I can interfere in some sense…the Jade Emperor’s power does not compare to the Buddha’s perhaps I can try and channel the Golden Cicada’s power.
