You guys didn't really like each other,you guys were constantly at each other throats. You would purposely eat his food,make all his white shirts pink by 'accidentally', leaving a pink sock in his laundry, or lock him outside of your shared dorm. Kenji is petty,he would move your chair as you were about to sit down. He blasts his music, especially Prince,he'll purposely ruin your meal by 'accidentally' putting something nasty on it,he'll purposely ruin your homework by pouring water on it or just straight up give you the wrong answer if he knows it,he'll wake you up in the early hours of the morning with the tv as he plays on his xbox or whatever gaming console he has or he'll rat you out to the professor if you are talking or thinking about cheating. You had to be careful. You knew if you got on his bad side, he'll give you hell and what for. You tried to switch dorms, but they said no and told you to suffer basically. Now, here you are, laying wide awake with your pillow over your head,trying to sleep, but your lovely roommate was keeping you up with him chatting up a storm with someone on the phone. He's been talking for hours,glancing at the clock that read three in the morning you had enough. You got up,jumping off of the top bunk,going to the sofa where he sat and grabbing his phone, hanging up on the person.

"Hey! Wasn't done talking!" Kenji glares at you.

"It's three in the morning. Go to sleep,im trying to get my beauty sleep."

"You need more than sleep to make you look ten times better." He retorts,snatching his phone back.

"Excuse me?!" You said, feeling your blood boil.

"You're excuse. "He gives you a smirk.

God is testing your patience with this man.

"Will you fuck off?"

"Nope,i love annyoing you." He then went to the bunk bed,climb up the latter and purposely laid in your spot to piss you off more.

"Hey! That's my spot! Get off!"

"Make me."

You could have just laid in his bed or the couch, but no,you wanted YOUR bed. You knew you weren't strong enough to grab him by his feet and drag him out of bed,so what you did was climb up the latter and try pushing him off.

It didn't end well.

Within five minutes of trying to push him off,he decided to roll over on top of you, then ended up falling asleep pretty quickly. You practically cursed to yourself for not just taking the couch or his bed,you have this idiot on you snoring like a bear. Man,you would rather have him talking for hours than hear him snoring into your ear. You then felt him nuzzle into your neck,which took you by surprised,you didn't even know what to do for a second. Then you felt yourself become grossed out as you felt drool on your neck,god its gonna be a long night.

You managed to fall asleep within an hour or so,Kenji would wake up,groaning in the process. He was thirsty,he's always thirsty but for a different reason, this time he actually needed water. He then also realized he fell asleep on you. He admired how peaceful you looked and had to admit you looked cute like this and not talking back to him. He smiles softly at you,kissing the top of your head as he carefully got off of 'his' bed,basically jumping off the top and landing on his feet. He went to the mini fridge and got him some water,drinking the bottle and then letting out a satisfying gasp. Cold Water hits differently in the morning, when you're craving it. He throws the bottle away in the trash can,he climbed back into your bed,laying next to you,putting the blanket on you and him,wrapping his muscular arm around you as he tells you good night,going back to sleep as well.

He can't wait to annoy you later on♡

Power outage

Kenji's arm was wrapped around your waist as you snuggled close to him. He was wearing his white tank top and his red sweats,while you were wearing his red hoodie and some black sweats as well,you guys were munching on some munchies along with some candy like Twix all while watching t.v. it was date night, and like always, both of you were poor, so you guys made up for it by having little movie nights. You guys were in the middle of your show when suddenly the power went off,hearing Kenji tsked.

"Maaan,it was getting to the best part." He said, getting up and turning on his flash from his phone,nearly blinding you.

"Oh shit sorry." Kenji quickly apologized,"You good?" He then asked.

"There's something wrong with my eyes.." you said, sounding scared, which made Kenji panic.

"Should i take you to the hos -"

"I can't take them off of you. " you said, giving him a grin.

"Mm." Kenji face heats up as his eyes widen before giving you a shy smile,"That was smooth. You're an idiot. I'll be back." He said, watching as you turn your phones flash on as well.

He goes to the breaker box,"I'd give them that one...caught me off gaurd.." he mutters to himself as he flips the switches as the lights come back on.

You smiled in delight as the power came on, and you could finally watch your show again. You didn't miss much of your show, luckily. Kenji comes back and immediately cuddles you,nuzzling against your neck and giving you gentle kisses. You return the kisses,running your fingers through his hair and giving him compliments.

"Stooop." He whines softly but doesn't move away,clearly enjoying the attention that you give him.

"My handsome man." You said smiling,watching how red his face got.

You gently hold his hand,kissing it softly,whispering soft praises to him.

He'll allow you to kiss him,touch him,whatever you want because he loves being spoiled by you,he can't help but become a blushing mess when it's with you.

He loves you so dearly.

The two of you woke up to the sound of your alarm, turing it off with a groan. He wrapped his arms around you. Trying to get you lay down with him again. "We gotta get up.." Sleepiness filled your voice. He mumbles under his breath before sitting up himself,closing his eyes and hanging his head. You gently grab his face,giving him a soft kiss,which he gladly returned.

Minutes later

You guys are now taking a bath together, and you are sitting in between his muscular legs while he washes your hair. Pressing soft kisses to your cheek, neck, and shoulders. You just lean your head back into the crook of his neck and relax as he holds you and trace lines across your skin. It was so soothing that you almost fell asleep untill he gently shakes you,"C'mon,let's make some breakfast." He stated but you both know that you'll be the one making breakfast. You guys get out of the bath,draining it,then drying yourselves off. You decided to wear a black shirt with some shorts while Kenji wore just black sweat pants. Kenji took hold of your hand as he lead you guys to the kitchen,he wasn't or would never admit that he likes holding your hand,he likes how soft and warm they are compared to his. He gives you another kiss then takes a seat at the table as you get the bacon and eggs onto the stove. He could watch you for hours,to him you were his everything,he smiles to himself admiring how pretty/handsome you were. He wanted to mark your prefect skin up,he wanted to see that flustered look on your face when he kisses you or leaves little love bites.

"What are you so happy about?" Your voice brought him back to reality as you set the plates down onto the table. His smile turn into alittle smirk with a hint of mischief in his eyes,"Just thinkin' about you baby." He tells the truth,but he wants to wait after breakfast for his little plan or idea to take action.

Christmas Hangover

Your alarm blaring as your eyes open wide awake depending on if you should hit the snooze button for the 6th time or actually get up. You deiced you gotta get up so you turn the annyoing alarm off,sitting up grumbling to yourself as you gotta go back to ypur normal daily routine now that Christmas is over and done with for this year.

Your future husband was dead asleep next to you,but you'll wake him up later because right now, you yourself is finding the courage to get up even though you said you were a few minutes ago. Once you actually got up, the floorn was cold,so you quickly put on your warm slippers and go downstairs for some leftovers to eat for breakfast. It wasn't anything too big, just the leftover cassorle you saved from yesterday, then for lunch or dinner leftover turkey and stuff. You knew Kenji was going to wake up around noon so you just finish the cassorle off and he can find some,after you finished eating you washed the dishes and started slowly butnsurely cleaning up the kitchen from the holiday decorations that were in there including lots of garland and tinsel,putting it in a box that was conveniently placed there.

You cleaned the table and counters from any spills or messes that were made between now and yesterday. You then went to the bathroom to do your business and get cleaned up,and when you were done, you put clean clothes on and put the old ones in the laundry hamper. You almost forgot to put your promise ring on that you got yesterday from your lover (check out last part if you haven't read it ) ,you had tooken it off because you thought it was gonna get lost in the bed while you went to sleep. You went into the shared bedroom and started picking up the dirty clothes and trash that was in there along doing some organizing with the stack of xbox games ,putting them in a neat pile,and putting the controllers neatly next to the tv. You kissed the top of Kenji's head,ruffling his hair,"so cute." You said to no one but yourself,looking at the digital clock that had woke yoy up from earlier that has now read 11:40am,near noontime so you also decied to wake your cute lover up by gently shaking him and calling his name. He doesn't budge at first until you keep attacking his face with kisses, and he tries to hide himself from your attacks and the sunlight that was beaming into his face,"No..." his morning voice was horas, and it also cracked,trying also hid under the blankets.

"Kenji,time to get up sleepyhead." You softly said with a smile on your face,"Gotta help me clean up, then you can go back to sleep sooner once you do." You said hearing another groan in protest from your baby. You sighed, didn't wana do this, put you, took the blanket off of Kenji, hearing a loud groan followed by complaining how cold the room was. "Get up and help Kenji. You do have to do much but take out the trash,take down the tree and some other Christmas stuff along with taking the lights off outside the house." You said.

The brunette grumbles before sitting up slowly,eyes still closed with mess brown locks that are probably tangled because he likes to move around in his sleep. You kissed him softly,"Stop being so grumpy in the morning, love."

"Mmnot grumpy.." he huffed before opening his eyes to get adjusted with the rooms lighting before slowly getting up and going to the tasks you had asked him to.

"Love you." You called out to him, which he said it back,barely hearing it. You then fix the bed, making it neat and tighty again,tucking the ends into the mattress and fixing the pillows. You then went to the living room where Kenji had slowly started to take out the ornaments of the tree, and you gave him a hand so it'll be done quicker. You closed the boxes of orniments,putting them in the storage closet you guys have for next year as Kenji started putting the tree back in the box,he struggled with it for a moment or two but he managed to get it in then put that in the closet as well. "Are you going to do your office as well, love?" You suddenly remember there's stuff in there, and he shaked his head.

"I'll put that way when i get tired of seeing it or whenever im feeling up to it." He said as heads outside to take down the lights.

Meanwhile, you went back and got the laundry hamper,putting the dirty clothes in the washer,using lavander soap. You also went back into the kitchen to throw away any expired or left over food that you had waay before Christmas but was to lazy to throw it away,and whatever was left you organized the fridge and open bottom freezer even thought it'll be a mess later on. You made sure the garbage bags were tied well or double bag them just in case they break. Tomorrow is garbage day as well, so it works out in the end. You set them aside for Kenji to get for later,you washed your hands then did some more cleaning and organizing a few minutes later or about twenty Kenji came in with the box of lights,putting them in the closet as well. "I collect the garbage its near the wall in the kitchen,it just need to be thrown away." You said,you knew he was gonna groan but you beat him to the punch,"I'll give kisses afterwards if you don't make one complaint for the reest

of the day."

He gived it a thought,he really wanna complain but kisses and gived in and took the trash out along with the recycling that was fully with boxes from either open Christmas presents or random packages you guys bought.

He comes back in,giving you a hug as everything was mostly done and put away,"Want my kisses." He says puckering his lips,making you laugh and smile at him, happily giving your man all the kisses he wants and desires.

You woke up to a chilly morning or well to a chilly room. You opened your eyes to see there was little light coming through the light blue curtains from the upcoming sun. You groan to yourself, noticing your partner was dead asleep. You scoot closer to him,giving his soft lips a gentle kiss before attacking his face with kisses. His eyebrows furrowed as he slowly started to wake up hearing your gentle voice,"Merry Christmas. " he heard as he slowly opened one eye and then closed it.

You pout at him when he tried to go back to sleep. You then placed your lips on his tan neck and started kissing that,maybe leaving a bit or two. His breath hitched a little as he opened both eyes now, attention fully on you.

"Merry Christmas." You said again with a lazy smile placed on your face. He gives you a few kisses back,"Good morning. " he replies in a deep, sleepy voice. He gently rolls on top of you,arms around you as he attacks your neck with love bites and kisses.

"Get off,you're heavy." You whine to him.

"Nu uh honey,you woke me up." He said, kissing you again,making sure you couldn't get up.

"Can you make breakfast later on?" He asked,kissing you some more. He kissed your jaw, and when you tried to push his face away with your hand, he took hold of your wrist,giving it a kiss up to your hand.

You nodded to his request,feeling butterflies in your stomach and feeling your face heat up with all this kissing so early in the morning.

He then goes back to your lips,sliding his tongue into your mouth while his hand goes through your hair,grabbing some of it as he deepens the kiss. A small moan like noise escapes your lips as you feel your lover's smile against them. Kenji shiver slighlty when he felt your cold hand touching his bare chest, then moving down to his hips.

He slowly gets up,going to the bathroom to clean himself up with a shower as you got up as well to go in the bathroom as well to wash your hands. Kenji had started the water,to let it run so it'll be the right temperature for him,"Gonna join me babe?" He weakly asked.

You shook your head no," You won't be able to take your hands off of me,and i took one last night." You said,grabbing your orange-redish toothbrush from the minon cup that was on the sink. Kenji pouts at you before pulling down his pants and going into the steamy shower,closing the shower door behind him. You turned on the faucet,wetting your toothbrush as you put toothpaste on it and starting to brush your teeth,making sure to turn the water off when you were done using it. Once finished with cleaning your teeth, you spat in the sink and turn the water back on,rinsing your brush and cleaning the sink from toothpaste. Before leaving the bathroom, you tooka glance at Kenji,admiring his muscular body and his beautiful tan along with how handsome he looked when his hair was wet all the way back .

"Love.. i can feel your eyes burning in the back of my head." You heard him chuckle.

"Can't help it,look so beautiful. " you replied.

"Take a pic,it'll last longer."

You lightly laugh at him,"Next time, it'll will." You answered before leaving the bathroom then to the kitchen. You turn the lights on,nearly blinding you in the progress but your eyes quickly adjusted as you walked to the Insignia bottom freezer fridge,opening to find the fridge to find the ingredients you need since you knew your lover might be in the shower for abit. You decided to make a breakfast cassorle made out of sausage. You preheated the oven to about 350 and while that heats up you got a baking dish and coat it with butter,and got a bowl cracking about four large eggs,2 ½ cups of whole milk, ½ cups of heavy cream and ½ cups of cheese welll you put some extra cheese in there because you like cheese and wanted to make it really cheesy. You then whisk the ingredients together and when well whisked you put it to the side and got a non stick skillet out and put some oil on it then turn the stove on to let that heat up,once it was nice and hot you added about one or two pound of sausage crumbles,then adding some small peppers you had cut up from the other day to the skillet,cooking them until it looked done enough. You add some french bread slices to it before pouring the batter you made from earlier on i, then add chees, then repeat the processuntill you run out of batter. You then with heating gloves put the pan into the over and let it bake for awhile as you were doing that Kenji had just came into the kitchen,drying off his hair with the towel he was using and was now wearing some new sweats and a black Christmas sweater you had bought him the other day. You walked up to him kissing him as he kissed back,"Have a seat breakfast won't be done for another forty-fiv, but would you like something to drink or maybe a snack?" You asked him.

He takes a seat as herestst the towel on the back of the chair,"I'll take some orange juic, please." He said,taking his phone out to play on. You nodd and going into the fridge to get the jucie and pour it into a cup,putting the jucie back in the fridge and handing the cup to him. You took a seat next to him as the two of you chatted about this and that for abit,after awhile you went up to check the cassorle. You put a tooth pick in it,seeing nothing on it you threw the toothpick away and got the gloves, taking the breakfast cassorle out to cool on the counter and turing off the oven and stove. While it was cooling you cleaned up your mess,knowing you'll regret it later if you don't do it now. You then got a clean knife and cutting a piece of the cassorle and putting the cheesy gooeyness onto the plate,serving it to Kenji who happily thank you as you gived him a fork. You got yourself a slice and sat next to him as the two of you both ate and talked until you finished the food.

"I'll help you with the cleaning." He said being generous for one as he takes the dishes,and starts doing them while you grabbed some tinfoil and wrapping the leftover cassorle and putting it in the compact fridge for later for a snack or something. Once everything was cleaned, Kenji told you he was going to call his ma to wish her and the fam a merry Christmas,if he didn't, he wouldn't hear the end of it from her.

When he finished calling her, the two of you exchange gifts. You got him new stuff for his office, like a new chair that he had to put together and a new light up keyboard. Kenji had gotten you some perfume/colonel along with a 50 dollar gift card,"i got another gift for you, love. Close your eyes. " he said.

You obediently closed your eyes as he got up and made a lot of noise of trying to find what he needed to find. You felt him sat back down next to you,"Okay, you can open."

You open your eyes to see he was holding a red box with a green ribbon on it,"Open it." He said nervously.

"No need to be nervous, love. I'll love it no matter what." You reassure him with a kiss, then open the box to gasp at a red ring thats shapped like a heart with red little studs on them,"i love it so much!" You excitedly said,hugging and kissing him.

"Heh,it aint nothing special. Couldn't afford a wedding ring, but the least i can do is give you a promise ring to let you know how much i love you and how you mean to me." He said, kissing,holding you tightly.

"You don't need a ring to show me that stuff,your attention and affection is all i need from you."

"Sooo does that mean i gotta take the ring back?" He asked with a smile.

"I never said that now." You jokingly said before giving him a lovingly tender kiss.

"Merry Christmas,Kenji."

"Merry Christmas, my future wife/husband. love you." He said, taking hold of your hand,kissing it once more with a smile on his face.

Kenji curses to himself,pacing back and forth while running his black painted fingernails that you painted for him through his hair,"Why?" His voice breaks,trying not to cry as he's outside your hospital room.  He was left in the dark,no clue what was going on the only thing he knew was you guys were smoking and ran out of snacks and he went to go get some,when he arrived you were unresponsive and here he was right now,worried sick. That was all he knew,it's been more than an hour,maybe an hour thirty, but the doctor's hadn't given him permission to come in yet. His mind begins to wonder,what if you dont make it or what if you're in a coma or braindead? "Stop it, Kenji.." he mutters to himself,thinking like this isn't gonna ease his mind. Maybe he should get a drink or something,he didnt always pray, but he could pray for you since the hospital has a chapel build inside. He didn't know what he wanted to do,his mind was not thinking,he wasn't thinking.  All he could think about was you. After all that thinking, he just decided to get some overpriced water from the vending machine and some chzpuffs, then stay in the waiting room,they has his number, and he hasn't eaten anything since earlier and the cafeteria was closed. He watches the tv that was showing some dumb sitcom that wasn't even funny,something about science he wasnt sure,he was kinda dozing off. Then his phone went off,he practically jumped out of his seat,he answered it and told him he could see you. He says, "Okay," hanging up immediately,going straight to your room,leaving his chips and water behind.

He arrived in your room in a flash. The doctor gave him a quick run down of what happened, but all he heard was that you tried to overdose because depression. He was really trying  to listen, but it was too much to swallow down. He wanted to tell the doctor to hurry up and let him see you. When the doctor finally stepped to the side for him to go in,Kenji booked it inside as the doctor left the two of you to talk if you were up to it. He was right near your side,your hand in his while his thumb gently carsses your hand,"What happened?" He knew what happened, but he wanted to hear it from you. You were pale,some sweat dripping down your face as you look like you might puke some more. There was a moment of silence,Kenji kissed your hand sweetly,"Baby,i.. I dont even know where to begin. My mind is everywhere. im scared if i say the wrong thing.."he holds your hand tighter,"There's different ways to deal with your depression,I'd fucking missed you if you left me like this! Don't you understand how much it'll hurt me to see you go like this?",tears fall down his face,he hated seeing you like this it aches his heart. He sniffs some so you won't see the snot running down his nose,"There's other ways i promise..dont ever do that or this again!"he cries out.

You smiled tiredly yet softly at him,"Sorry.." you managed to get out.

"Don't apologize,don't ever apologize to me. It's fine. You didn't do anything wrong. I should be apologizing. I shouldn't have left you alone. Then none of this would of happened,im sorry."

You tried to listen him but you were going in and out of your sleep,his voice would sometimes fade off or you would catch the end of his sentence but you kinda ended up falling asleep with his hand in yours.

"We'll talk more about this when you're fully awake. I love you so much." Kenji said, finally noticing that you were trying to rest. He pulls a chair next to you,holding your hand as he sits down next to you,"I'll be right here,I'm not gonna leave you. I'm here for you forever,I'll always be here for you."

It finally has happened he has gotten his plushies back in stock after so long! Why now did he just get them restocked? You may ask,it was because of two reasons one for his lover to have when he streams very late and when you miss him,and two the fans have been asking for it. You absolutely loved the cute little version of your lover! The plush was very soft, and sometimes you'd use it as a pillow or snuggle close to it when you felt lonely.

Lately, you have been snuggling it more often than usual. Kenji took notice, and at first, he thought it was really cute, but now he regrets bringing the damn thing back. He would watch you play on your switch while the plush sits on your lap,wishing his head was resting on your lap instead of that stupid thing. Another time, you were watching movies and cuddling with the plush while Kenji sat on the other side of the couch,being bitter and wanting cuddles.

You sat at the barstool in the kitchen of your house,scrolling through tik tok,watching alot of cat memes,work related stuff,AppleRadio fanart and cosplay stuff,staying safe videos just in case you were to be kidnapped,along with asmr videos. You enjoy the soap carving and breaking ones along with the glass breaking ones. You were just browsing until you saw this one tik tok that caught your eye it was basically a lady asking her boyfriend or husband to peal an orange ,in the video she explained if your partner does this act of service you're relationship is going good or if they dont you guys have issues in your relationship,something like that. As right on cue, your lover came into the kitchen wearing nothing but his sweats,looking like he just woke up ,"Kenjii," you said sweetly.

He didn't hear you the first time as he as going through the fridge for something to eat,maybe something to drink to.

"Kenji." You said again,a little louder to catch his attention.

"Hmm?" He asked, looking at you.

"Will you get me an orange and peel it for me, love? " you asked sweetly.

"We don't own any oranges."

"Oh.. will you buy me some oranges then."

"Love,you dislike oranges. You always complain about the seeds in them."

"Well, get me the ones without the seeds then!" You said back.

"That's like saying, find me a watermelon that's not green or find me a cake that doesn't have sugar in it."he rebuttles.

You groan,"I just want an orange."

"It's also raining outside, and im not gonna get cold and wet, but you know what i can give you."

He goes back into the fridge for a second to get a mango out,handing it to you,"It's orange. That's as close as you'll get until it stops raining." He said, giving you a kiss along with taking a bottle of water,"Also stop watching those types of Tik toks. I don't want you to thinkin' i dont love you or do anything for you. Just talk to me, love." He said before going to the shared room to watch tv or game .

"I guess you're right." You said, looking at the mango,taking a bite out of it. Truth be told, you weren't really a fruit type of person, but at least he gave you something even if it wasn't an orange.You were also glad this little experiment didn't turn out horribly either.

Excuses.

Kenji has been your best friend ever since high school,you'd guys would do almost everything together and also went through changes in life as well, rather it was mentally or physically you guys were there for each other. You guys had sleep overs and stuff,and would tell your parents you guys were going to 'study' when it was mostly going to the arcade or going to the movies,or to the park if both of you guys were broke as hell. You would give good excuse to tell your parents why you were sneaking out of the house in the middle of the night if you were caught but those excuses worsen over time as you became an adult. You were next door neighbors with him in your apartment complex,you would randomly call him up and say you needed to come over because he had a leaky pipe and you didn't want him to drown or maybe you'd tell him that you saw a scary movie but in reality it was an comedy one and you just wanted to go over and spend time with him,maybe make out with the homie. Kenji would also make dumb excuses too he would say his trash can ran away or some dumb shit like that,and that he was really sad and need some comfort aka meaning snuggling close to you and maybe holding your hand and giving kisses.

Gonna be real,like bro come on,you both are clearly interested romantically in each other but you guys are to stubborn to admit your feelings for one another and making up dumb excuses. At least make up better excuses to see each other,it's getting sad at this point. 😭😭😭

This morning excuse was that it was sometimes about trains or something,but you ended up cuddling with Kenji,sharing soft morning kisses with him along with enjoying each others warmth. When you guys decided to get out of bed you guys order some breakfast and eat together while watching some Saturday cartoons.

Stress.

Stress has been on your mind lately. Stress from work,stress from family, and just in general life has been stressful, and you need another cigarette. You just had one, but yolo, I guess, as you take out the purple carton once more to take out one of the shorts in there,placing it in your mouth and lighting it. You took a drag, then exhaled as the smoke came from your nose,"god.. that felt good." You mutter to yourself as you kicked off your shoes then go outside on the porch because your lover would scold you for one smoking in the house and two telling you that you shouldn't smoke in general. He knows you can be and get stressed really quickly like one time you had a fight with your mom who had told you to be more feminine and would dress you in a pink or red  dress or put pretty  ribbons on you at first you didn't mind since you know you were young or younger at the time but as you gotten older you realized you had your own style you prefer and wearing some of the feminine things had made you uncomfortable and out of place. When you tried more masculine or clothes for men it didn't really feel right either but none the less now that you're older you kinda realize it doesnt matter what you wear as long as it represents you and you like wearing what makes you feel comfortable.  You had made peace with your mom recently whiched eased you because shes more accepting and respectful of you,making you happy because she's about the only family you have beside kenji and some relatives you dont really care about. You took another hit of the cigarette as it went into your lungs, then blew it out through your mouth this time. Sometimes, you think to yourself, or these thoughts sometimes go through your head.

Maybe you feel like you’re somewhere in between,like you feel like both / more than one gender.

Maybe you connect somewhat to a gender but not fully.

Maybe your connection to gender fluctuates or how you experience your gender changes over time.

You were lost in thought as you kept smoking,thinking how funny the world is or can be.

Kenji had come home from shopping for some snacks,he went into the kitchen to place them down on the marbel counter,he wondered where you were then got a sniff of smoke.

He sighed,frowning,"They're gonna be the death of me, i swear." He says, heading to the back porch. He knew you've been smoking or have been smoking before hand,the first time was when your boss pissed you off and sent you home early then a week after he fired you over something dumb,and you were so mad he thought he saw smoke coming from you to only realize you were actually smoking . He wasn't disappointed but sad maybe slightly annoyed because he didn't want you to smoke and get an addiction, he was there for a reason and he has two ears to listen to your problems and maybe help if he can by either running you a bubble bath or having a date night to make you forget about your worries. He places a hand onto your shoulder and calls out to you in a gentle tone that he shows to no one else but you.

You didn't notice him calling your name,you were still lost in thought still and smoking your cigarette.

"Or maybe i don’t connect to any gender and form my own way to communicate my experience...?" You sighed,unsure what to think. You felt your cigarette being taken away and thrown on the ground as Kenji steps on it to extinguish it.

"Y/N,you there? What have i told you about smoking? This cancer stick may seem good at first but baby you gotta break the habit,addiction is a hard thing and i know you're going through it,but i need to let you know you're not alone. I'll be here for you, and I'm much healthier than that cigarette. " Kenjii said, bringing your attention to him.

You looked down but felt him take ahold of your hands,"Y/N,look at me. I'm here for you,whatever you decide to do, I'll be by your side every step of the way. Just stop smoking,it's breaking my heart. Instead, talk to me, and I'll listen. I may not be good at words, but im a good listener,so please stop for me?.." he said, bringing you in for a tight hug,feeling how tense he was. You didn't realize how much it hurt him,you knew it annoyed him, but you didn't want to see him sad.

You wrapped your arms around him,"I'll try for you."you said softly with a sad smile. You felt him soften up a bit. "Let's stay like this for a few more minutes..please." he said to you which you happily obligated.

You stared at nothing in particular,but you just hugged him, and he hugged you. You felt safe in his arms, and you trusted him.

Then another thought came to mind.

It could be a number of things.

It’s a diverse and complex experience, and experiences may differ from one another.

But when you think about it,

Isn't that a beautiful reflection of what humanity or human nature is in a way?
