i’m not sure if this is the correct place to request something but i was wondering if you could write stiles stilinski x ocd!reader? maybe stiles notices her becoming overly anxious and sees her picking every one of her scabs back open or just picking at her skin repeatedly? sorry if that doesn’t make sense, it’s just something i do obsessively especially when things don’t “feel right”

Stiles has always been one of the most supportive people you have in your life. With his own history and battle with panic attacks, he gets how crippling any form of mental illness can be. It’s a constant war inside your head all the time, even when it doesn’t feel like a war. And he understands it and has been there to support you ever since you told him about your OCD.

He had questions, of course, because no one really, truly understands OCD until they have it. It’s not that you always just want your room to be clean or that you’re flipping a light switch three times. It’s more about something, very specific having very specific steps and if those steps aren’t done in the exact way your brain tells you, you have to repeat them and if you don’t, this terrible, awful thing will happen and you’ll have anxiety about it. The thought of redoing that thing will sit in the back of your head haunting you and taunting you until you just do it. But, the worst types if just when something just doesn’t feel “right”.

You haven’t necessarily done anything that goes against your compulsions, in fact, according to your recollection, you did everything “right”. But, something that is almost embedded into your bones, screams that something isn’t right. It’s a large flashing red light in the very front of your head telling you that something isn’t RIGHT. You don’t know exactly what thing is but it’s SOMETHING and it’s a vibration in your bones telling you to figure it out so you can fix that one thing to be right again. But, you can’t, not right now so instead, you’re stuck picking at your skin and scabs, reopening the wounds to try and ease the anxiety that wraps it’s self around your bones like selfish barbed wire.

Stiles, though, he’s always been attentive. It’s one of his best qualities, nothing really sneaks past him and he’s almost always right about everything. And he notices, everything, including the distant look in your eyes as you sit looking at the TV.

“Hey, are you okay?” Stiles asks, his voice calm as he looks over to you.

“Huh?” You raise your brows at him, the picking stopping for only a second.

Stiles glances to your hands and sees a small blood spot. “You’re picking, you only do that when it’s bothering you.” He refers to your OCD as it because sometimes, mentioning it by its name turns into this looming monster, like saying its name allows it to materialize in a way.

“Uh…” You stutter, the picking continuing. “I don’t know….something…feels…” You pause again because the other really annoying thing about OCD is that even sometimes talking about it not feeling right, is another trigger. If you acknowledge it, maybe something really bad will also happen.

“Doesn’t feel right?” Stiles finishes and earns a worried expression from you. “Alright, well,” Stiles takes your hands in his, resituating himself on the couch to face you. “I’m just gonna hold your hands for a little while, okay?” He asks and you nod at him. “Because picking isn’t gonna help and then we can try to figure out what isn’t right.” He gives you a warm and reassuring smile. “And if you can’t, that’s okay.”

“I feel like I did everything….ya know? But it just….” You pause again, growing annoyed at how everything stops in your throat even when you want to talk about it.

“I’m positive everything is fine.” Stiles gives you a reassuring nod. “But, if you think something might happen because it doesn’t feel right, then I guess you’re gonna have to deal with me all night cause I’m not going anywhere until you feel better.” His voice is airy but still holds this seriousness to it where you know he will not leave unless you’re okay. And you’re so thankful for him. He’s the only one that gets it.

“Thank you, Stiles.” It’s a weak smile that tugs at your lips, but a smile.

Silas' story is legit so damn sad, and all I can do is feel sympathy for him tbh poor kid basically grew up as a werewolf (and probably feral too) and locked away as a caged animal for a show, then he bites someone outta instinct bc again he's like a feral animal lol and gets hunted and killed :/

like I get it had to be done to break the curse, and I don't mind that ending but it still makes me sad on how Silas is treated all his life

Werewolf Models

WEREWOLF IDENTIFICATION POP-QUIZ!

this is for all the werewolf fans out there (tumbleweed rolls by). i've long since memorised all their features by heart, but they're still hard to differentiate sometimes, so here are the isolated models for all the werewolves in the game!

i'll also have the names of each in the alt text so they can be read voluntarily (by clicking/tapping the 'alt' symbol), just in case you'd prefer to test yourself and guess :)

that's all of them! here are some things i'd like to note.

the older werewolves of the bunch (silas, caleb, and kaylee) are all noticeably different from the others. as they get older they appear more wolf-like, with longer snouts and more haphazardly-positioned teeth.

they also all look eerily like their human counterparts, no? some less than others of course, but werewolves like kaylee and dylan look very similar. i remember reading somewhere that they were made to fit the faces of the actors, though i may be making that up.

it's also worth noting that the fresher werewolves (nick, jacob, emma and laura) are also very similar to one another, particularly their teeth- at a guess, they all used the same base model which was then morphed to look more like the character they transformed from.

Hey! I haven’t been on here in a little while & I’ve just seen that you’re writing a new Tom series (which is awesome btw & I’ve very exited to read it when it’s out)… but last I saw you said you were no longer going to write for Tom (maybe even delete some of your old stuff about him)? Did you just change you’re mind or am I thinking of a completely different blog?

Thank you!! That was me lmao so yeah I didn’t want to write for Tom because people, in this fandom in particular, were being severely harassed by people for writing rpf (I’m talking BIG blogs were harassing people) and I didn’t wanna subject myself to that but then I was blocking all of them anyway and I’ve had this idea for this fic for literally a year and it wouldn’t leave me alone lmao I didn’t want to include the whole superhero or supernatural element like if I were to write it for Peter or Stiles so I decided I could write it for Tom and have the intention of publishing it as an original story well. So here I am deciding to write a series lmao

I think I got blocked so I will now talk about Silas and post in his tag and you all have to suffer... or you like what I'm going to write.

The white wolf really is such a mysterie which is a pity. Whe know literally nothing but his name and what he kind of looks like.

All we know about him are from very untrustworthy sources.

One is Travis who is telling us what Kaylee told him.

Travis assumes that Eliza is not Silas' real mother. But we don't know that. Eliza looks really old so how likely is it? Well, it can still be true that Eliza is indeed Silas mother since the game is taking place in a world where werewolves, witches and ghosts are real.

But all of this just raises more question and we get literally no answers.

Like how old was/is Silas?

Travis says Kaylee wanted to help the child. this means that Silas was in his human form, right? And Travis also says that even six years later there are sightings of a feral albino child along the coast. Of course if Silas was something like 6 years old when Harum Scarum got destroyed, he could be 12 when he was finally "caught".

That again raises the question if no one ever tried to find him and bring him inside? A naked child in the woods that was seen multiple times?

Anyway let us look at the poster on the cage:

compared to the new flyer, we find all the time, the one from six years ago:

In the first one Eliza looks a lot younger. Of course that could have been the artist of the poster deciding to just pretty her up. But if you look at the design, the first ones looks older... like it could be from decades ago.

But Silas was already a part of the show then. So... how old is Silas really? Is he Elizas son? She sure seems to think so.

Eliza sees Silas as her son. Why did she put him in a cage? Maybe it wasn't as bad as Kaylee thought it was? It might have been good enough that people thought it is just an act? The cage itself is rather big... Maybe peope thought the feral thing was also just an act?

That would be what I might assume... children who grow up in a circus often help out with the acts.

Either way, Eliza loved Silas enought to stay in the real world as a ghost and to try to kill off a whole family to protect him (and maybe bring him snacks/campers into the woods, who knows).

Anyway talking about age, another thing is that both Kaylee and Caleb are (if we believe the family tree) 21 22 (*1999) and 26 (*1995)

Not exactly teenagers, even though Chris titles them as such. The developers are just not exact with the ages and all characters are unreliable narrators.

Also Caleb was 20 when he started the fire to help his 15 16 year old sister to free a child. Instead of asking their cop-uncle to help?

All of this just seems weird. Caleb should have known better. He was already an adult who grew up in the woods and at camp. He should know about the dangers of fire.

Even if they were both only 10 years old they should have known better...

Another thing is that we have to assume is, that Silas was in his human form when he got "rescued". And still he bit Caleb. He is multiple times described as feral (again by Travis who is not a reliable source) but it might still be true.

The fact alone that Silas bit Caleb while probably being human is an indicator for Silas actually being feral. That raises the question of why was Silas like that? Was he like that from the beginning? Or was he just not raised adequately? OR if he really is older than he looks did he become more feral with time?

All of those are valid options.

Another thing that always strikes me as weird is Kaylees letter. The first time I heard it, it sounded like she is not sorry about what happened. It sounds like she is only sorry about how it turned out.

Though, many people died she does not sound like she feels any regret... maybe werewolves really become more feral with time?

Gammy, How long we gonna drag this shit out? I know family is the most important thing, but I wanna know what's outside the forest, outside this damn house and camp, and I sure as hell know that ain't about to happen 'cos of who we are. Maybe we can explain what's goin' on. Fuckin' show people. Then they'll know we got no control over it. I know you just tryin' to protect us, but one day you won't be here no more and right now it feels like we stuck in a dark hole. I can't sleep Gammy. Or if I do I dream about that fuckin' fire. Also Kaylee writes that they were just dumbass kids, which might be true for her but not for her brother (again, 15 16 and 20).

BUT THEN we have this photo:

We don't know when it was made but it could be from six years ago? But Caleb does not look 5 4 years older than Kaylee... all of this is just one big mysterie.

Anyway I wish we would have learned more about Silas because the things we do learn are not really anything to go with... all we can do is take those and put our own preferred headcanons around them.

let's say, hypothetically, max and laura made it there when they were supposed to. they spent the summer with everyone.

how would you write them into the night that the quarry takes place? storyline ideas that work around treehouse max wolf and laura storming the hackett house for max? would any of the group connect the dots to the hacketts and end up there anyways? what would the prologue be like instead? who wouid laura and max be closest with outside of each other?

i feel like in terms of main story there'd be more focus on caleb and kaylee instead of laura and max. maybe prologue could be like that night with silas?

I feel like we’re always talking about missed opportunities and ‘hidden knowledge’ (i.e. Dylan’s necklace extended discourse). So, in a similar vein: what do you think the counselor’s middle names would be?

I wanted to ask everyone this and kept forgetting! You’re going to wish you asked someone more creative than me because I have an incredibly lazy answer. A few months back I read a fic that gave Dylan a middle name I violently hated (bad personal associations) and I was like, okay, this sucks, but what would I give him instead? And then I thought, dumb idea, what if they all had their actors’ names as middle names? I figured no way, they couldn’t actually sound good, right? Too easy. But… it actually kinda works? For most of them anyway, I did make some tweaks.

I actually think Dylan’s middle name is Dylan. I think his first name is Miles and he goes by his middle. Flows better that way to my ear.

Miles Dylan Lenivy.

Ariel is too similar to Abigail, it’s too singsongy, but Winter is actually Ariel’s middle name. Abigail Winter Blyg didn’t really speak to me either but what if we shifted the season and gave her Autumn instead?

Abigail Autumn Blyg? Into it. Witchy fall girlie.

Ryan Justice Erzahler. Yes please.

Laura Siobhan Kearney. Poetry. Might be my favorite of the bunch. Consistently Irish.

Now, is Max just outright legally named Max, or is it short for something like Maxwell or Maximilian or Maximus? I think I like Maxwell best for him.

Maxwell Skyler Brinly. I like the echoed y sound. (Although Skyler’s middle name is Augustus and that would be a fun option for Max too.)

Nicholas Evan Furcillo. Fine. Serviceable.

Jacob Zachary Custos. Yep. ✅ That’s a perfectly nice middle of the road white boy name. Which is just what you want for our naked himbo babe.

Kaitlyn Brenda Ka. I just think giving her the middle name Brenda is very funny. It’s so incredibly 80’s. I’m obsessed with Kaitlyn naming her Barbadian D&D character Brenda in that one 80’s AU fic.

Emma Halston Mountebank. Yes. Sounds expensive. I don’t know what Emma’s social background is supposed to be but that name sounds like a horse girl to me. I feel like she wants to project wealth and success even if she has more humble roots than it seems.

Silas I’m giving the middle name Peter, for both Peter and the Wolf and Peter Stubbe, ‘The Bedburg Werewolf’ so, Silas Peter Vorez.

Sometimes being lazy as fuck about naming characters works out I guess? But I wanna hear other headcanons because I could definitely be swayed on these!
