finally the classes are back!! (but only for one day cause it was on a Friday T-T)

i was SO HAPPY to study again! we had chemistry classes, i hate chemistry, but the teacher is really good at teaching and i could understand (even if i was slower than the other students, but i GOT IT)!

i'll have to study harder to understand chemistry (⁠´⁠°̥̥̥̥̥̥̥̥⁠ω⁠°̥̥̥̥̥̥̥̥⁠｀⁠)

but we also had microbiology and i felt in heaven, omg, how good is to hear about the celular constitution instead of protons neutrons and electrons, ugh, i got goosebumps.

my idea for today was to study, but i have to give classes (yeah i'm a freelance teacher) and I have a kind of date, so, study, only tomorrow.

Summary: Sleepy as he is, he registers distantly that he has his husband’s hand on his shoulder. Unwilling to be woken up, he snuggles closer, crawling into Lan Wangji's lap and mumbling something like "Be a good husband and let me sleep a little longer, Lan Zhan. You can carry me home, right?" and kissing his neck. Lan Wangji freezes in surprise. Not expecting something like this, Lan Wangji is understandably overwhelmed and it's because of his reaction that Wei Wuxian notices that something is wrong, which wakes him up. The first thing he says is: "You're not my Lan Zhan" Also known as: the fic I wrote in a discord chat after someone asked me to elaborate on my tumblr post. Kay's comments: So cute, cute, cute! In which a talisman goes awry and future Wei Wuxian ends up in the past and gets to tease (and warn) teenage Lan Wangji. Part two of the series is teenage Wei Wuxian getting to spend one afternoon with adult Lan Wangji who makes sure to make sure Wei Wuxian knows he's loved. I really enjoyed this short series, no angst just fluff! Excerpt: Finally, Lan Wangji says, "I believe you." "Aw really? I'd have loved to keep going," Wei Wuxian teases. "I love to talk about my husband after all." The reaction is instant. He looks away, with red ears and fists holding tightly onto his robes. They spend a moment in silence then, both gathering their thoughts. "Won't this knowledge cause any harm?" "I'm pretty sure this is going to develop into a different timeline," he reassured. "And the only thing I've revealed to you about the future is our relationship, there's no need to worry about that when we're both in love already, is there?" It was probably a little mean, but it was a lot of fun to see the way this young version of his husband startled at his words. He used to be so shy. Absolutely adorable, Lan Zhan. "What? We're not-" he couldn't finish his sentence.

the nature of being a johnny lawrence fan, is that it is often indistinguishable from being a johnny lawrence hater, and I don't think I have that with any other character. usually I'm very protective of my faves (including in cobra kai, daniel, sam, kreese, and tsilver), but johnny, I very much enjoy reading all the reasons people dislike his character, nodding along like "yeah what an inconsistent mess, you're so right, carmen pls u deserve better narrative to work with, terry silver was telling the truth when he mocked his fatherhood abilities, but alas the writing will never support it"

Summary: Burial Mounds era Lan Qiren and Wei Wuxian had time travelled. - Lan Qiren narrowed his eyes. “You’ve heard of the Patriarch of Yiling before, boy?” Wei Wuxian watched his former teacher with suspicion, “Laoshi, you’ve been there when the sun was shot?” Lan Qiren nodded. Kay's comments: It's rare to find a Lan Qiren time-travels story that still feels close to his character like here. Though he's still a much nicer uncle than he is in canon, he actually needs some time warming up to Wei Wuxian after accidently time-travelling together with him. It's also extremely cute to see how much Wei Wuxian enjoys running around younger Lan Wangji and playing with him. Excerpt: A few days later, Lan Qiren caught sight of Wei Wuxian running alongside Lan Wangji, trying to make him smile and shouting non-stop: Lan Zhan this, Lan Zhan that. He tried hard to not roll his eyes at that childish behavior. God forbid, this man was twenty years old, and still, had no trouble blending in with the fifteen-year-olds. After Wangji left, he stopped Wei Wuxian. “What are you doing?” Wei Wuxian asked with a surprised face, “What am I doing?” Lan Qiren, “Why are you pestering Wangji?” Wei Wuxian bit his lower lip, “I’m not pestering him. I just want to be friends with him.” Lan Qiren, “Why?” Wei Wuxian happily exclaimed, “Isn’t it obvious? He is an upstanding, righteous, and beautiful person. Who wouldn’t want to make friends with him? If he smiled a bit all the sisters would be running after him.” “…Hmm, maybe that’s a good thing he doesn’t smile. You don’t have to deal with all those ladies Laoshi!” Lan Qiren grumbled, “Shameless!” Wei Wuxian, “Hah! That’s what Lan Zhan says, all the time! I really forgot how strict he was even when he was a teenager.”
