DAY 5879
Jalsa, Mumbai Mar 23/24, 2024 Sat/Sun 10:23 AM
🪔 ,
March 24 .. birthday greetings to Ef AMIT Trivedi .. 🙏🏻🚩❤️
..
March 24 .. World TB Day .. prayers .. 🙏🏻
Spending the time with the words of Babuji is not just an education but a revelation of a poet's mind and soul .. a mind that wanders in the visionary hemisphere unknown and unseen in a relative World, but yet possessing the intelligence of the probability of a higher philosophy ..
For it all to come to me now , is a shame .. a shame of lost opportunity and time to have been spent in the research and his presence to be able to understand the deeper meanings in his thought ..
I did on the odd occasion give intent of his interpretation and reason for many of his thoughts .. and they were most revealing .. but then .. time passed away .. as did his presence ..
It is a known and accepted fact that genius of creative art, writing, painting, music or whatever form, has always been overlooked and never given its due during the lifetime of the artist .. and it has been recognised fact of this phenomena that coerces me to, yet again , mention here for consumption of the mass ..
A pity ..
But the efforts of time , or whatever is left in it for me , shall endeavour to give some exposure to Babuji's works and his incredible genius ..
The World has very seldom seen or experienced the greatness of such ..
Last night I spent time on one such random thought of his from a published work :
नई से नई, पुरानी से पुरानी
it contains works of his in short verses, or abstract from , blank verse - short and expressive , but of immense value for us all to think and wonder of how certain thoughts and the express of them , do get created ..
Tumblr media
The title of the Poem :
KAVI KA RAKT .. A POETS’ BLOOD
meri band mutthiyaan dekhkar .. seeing my closed fists jis-jis ne mujhse poocha, .. all those that asked me “ismein kya hai” ? .. ‘what is inside them’ ? maine imaandaari se bataya , .. i told them with all honesty “ismein kya hai ? .. ‘what is in them ismein kadamb ka phool hai “ .. in them is the kadamb flower ? "(Neolamarckia cadamba, with English common names burflower-tree, laran, and Leichhardt pine,[2] and called kadam or cadamba[2]) aur logon ne is par .. and the people on this sahaj vishwaas kar liya .. did keep their instinctive believe
vo to jab .. that is, when meri mutthiyaan se .. from my clenched fists rakt ki boondein choone lagein .. drops of blood did start to drop tab logon ne mujhe avishwaas ki nazaron se ghoora, .. then, did the people did stare at me in disbelief mujhse kaha .. and they told me “mutthiyaan to kholo ।” "at least open your fists" aur jab maine mutthiyaan kholein .. and when I did open my clenched fists to unmein .. in them kantkeela dhature ka pahal nikala । .. did come out the thorn laden datura fruit !
(Datura is a genus of nine species of highly poisonous, vespertine-flowering plants belonging to the nightshade family. They are commonly known as thornapples or jimsonweeds, but are also known as devil's trumpets. Other English common names include moonflower, devil's weed, and hell's bells.)
main sharmaya, .. I was ashamed mera jhoot pakda gaya ,.. my lie was caught mujhe apne par aashcharya hua, .. I was filled with wonder , kyunki maine apni ankhein kholkar .. because I had with my open eyes kadamb ka phool apni mutthiyon mein liya tha । .. taken the kadamb flower in my clenched fists !
shayad mai apni bhavatishayata mein ।.. perhaps in the belief of my aatma , the self , the soul kante ko phool samjha, .. I thought the thorns to be a flower par kaanta , kaanta hi kaise reh gaya , .. but how did the thorn , remain a thorn phool kyun nahin bana , .. why did it not become a flower usnein toh ek kavi ka rakt piya tha । .. it had consumed the blood of a poet !!
the word भावा ति शय यता , bhavatishayyata seems to have been taken from a form of the mention in the scriptures of Hindu philosophy, saints and religion , which is why i believe it refers to his aatma, his soul , his inner .. perhaps a more 'cultured way' 😁 of expressing his thoughts ..
DATURA

TI KAVIS, my name is Athena Malakas. I'm a 27 year old american hellenophile (greek culture fan for you foreigners). I drink MASTIXA and eat spanakopita at my SPITI, and spend my days perfecting the craft and enjoying superior greek passtimes. (unemployment) I train with my BUZUKI every day, this superior instrument can permanently leave the yiayias at my divine liturgy enamored because of its rich tune, and is vastly superior to any other method of pleasing old ladies. I earned my souvlaki grilling license two years ago, and I have been getting better every day. I speak Greek fluently, both Chicago and New York dialect, and I write fluently as well. I know everything about Greek history and their spartan code, which I follow 100% When I get my Greek visa, I am moving to Mykonos to work in an gay bar to learn more about their magnificent culture. I hope I can become a ephebe for the Spartan Twunk XXX or a sleazy diner owner in Athens for my family members to work at (for no pay!!)! I own several togas, which I wear around town. I want to get used to wearing them before I move to Greece, so I can fit in easier. I rebel against my elders and seniors and speak Greek as often as I can, but rarely does anyone manage to respond. Wish me luck in Greece! ZHTO Y ELLADA!

um im working on an app for this kenyon summer program. the q is why is writing important to u. idk if i like ittttt
You are named Kavi. The Sanskrit word for poet.
But you never felt like a poet; not a good one, anyhow. You carried a title you were sure you could never live up to. You were ashamed of everything you wrote.
Your journals, your songs, your short stories: You could see your reflection in each word and it made you ill. Well, no— It was only one word. One letter, actually: I. The single letter bared your entire soul, spilled your guts for the whole world to see. You had always felt alienated; naming your thoughts as your own only served to emphasize that loneliness. When you started writing with the second-person perspective, your shame and fear melted away. Suddenly, it’s no longer you writing; rather, it’s everyone. It’s no one. It is an unadorned and omnipresent “you”. The mirror turns away from you, and your emotions aren’t disgusting: because they aren’t yours. You start to share your work: In school, to your friends. People seem uncomfortable with the grotesque nature of your stories, but they praise your writing. You take care with each delicate word. You feel, finally, like an artist: one worthy of creating, one worthy of being read. You feel like a poet. You feel like Kavi. You feel like yourself.
I feel like myself.

justin i need to hear your ag takes now
oh my god yes. i was just about to make a post. ill say a few opinions because they are all scattered.
problem one: from the founding of ag to 2014, everything was perfect. it all went downhill when the historical dolls were rebranded to beforever. all historical accuracy went out the window to cater to an even younger audience. all the playsets turned to plastic, there used to be wooden accessories! metal even! now its all cheap plastic, hunks going for hundreds of dollars. quality of items went down, as well as quality of stories. all the realism in the historical settings were wiped to have colorful smiles and happy colors. yes, some happiness is nice, but im still mad about kits redesign, wheres her flour sack dress! that was not made out of a flour sack!
problem two: girls of the year. they are running out of ideas! a second gymnast, really? im tired of the endless roulette of white girls! none of these girls stand out! they all have the same hobbies, and appeal to the same declining demographic of rich white girls. understandable, since the prices have ballooned so much people who arent rich arent buying them these days. each goty seems no different from the last. the current goty is both a gymnast and a horse girl. that is a desperate bid to tackle demographics. theyve done those a million times, the gymnast was mckenna back in 2012? and horses twice with nikki and sage. a horse does sell well, i always wanted a horse, but they really need to do something else. i honestly havent been paying much attention to recent gotys, but corinne and kavi were fantastic! the asian american representartion was great! but now the year after them, we are back to a white gymnast horse girl. im not privy to their sales, but i wish there were more diverse characters. but since the audience is mostly white rich moms who got mad at one of the characters having lesbian aunts, im not surprised they keep making them. i just want there to be more diversity!
id write more but my phone lags really really badly when using tumblr for too long. i have so many thoughts i didnt even get to truly me dolls but i dont have much to say about them honestly theyre fine
i was very obsessed with ag as a child, id spend hours looking through the catalogues at the pretty merchandise. i also followed their other endeavors like the self help and craft books. i was a fan in elementary school, 2010-2016 so that influences my opinions bc idgaf abt anything outside of that time frame
my fave dolls: kit (i have her! shes in just a coat since all my clothes are put away), julie, addy, rebecca (her collections the prettiest), nellie (shes the prettiest. also gwen but theyre identical with pretty hair), cecile and marie-grace, kanani, chrissa, mia, and LANIE. im so mad i was too young for lanie shes always been my favorite. faves are also heavily influenced by their books, lanies books are really comforting to me. i wanted to be her so bad as a kid! okay im sleepy i worked myself up lol. thank you for asking i love talking about it

I am here on my knees to humbly ask for some Strife/Kavi content 🙇‍♀️
Bfbxbbdndndndndndnfndbdbndndndnd😂🧡🧡
Okay so this is before Kavi got kidnapped:
<You are leaving?>
Kavi stands in front of rainbow squad's little apartment. Strife stands at the door, half in armor, half in blacks.
Pine green eyes meet dark brown ones.
There was no judgment in the pink haired’s voice. Only warmth and an understanding, that the corrie wishes wouldn’t exist.
<In a few hours. >
Strife’s own voice softens as he eyes his boyfriend. He hadn’t expected to see him. Hadn’t contacted him, because he didn’t want to worry him.
But it appears that his brother’s thought otherwise. It was probably Redd or Sticker who had commed Kavi, informed him about their mission.
Kavi lightly tilts his head, before stepping closer until there are only a few inches left between them. He places his hands on Strife’s chest, thumb lightly caressing him there.
<I won’t worry. I know you will come back to me, Strife. And I know the others will follow you. I will just… wait here for you.>
Strong arms wrap around Kavi’s smaller frame, pulling him closer.
Strife’s heart is beating loud, echoing in his own ears. He is sure that Kavi can feel his heartbeat, the little soft smile says it all.
<Well… someone has to save you from your own chaos.>
<Oh?>
Kavi laughs quietly, his hands move up towards the back of Strife's neck.
<Wasn’t I the one who saved you just yesterday from a disastrous dinner? >
<Hmmm… i had everything under control.>
Strife grins his hands driving down to Kavi’s lower back.
The pink haired wears a beautiful purple, wavy tunic made of thin silky cloth. Expensive jewelry decorates his ears, his collarbone, wrists and ankles. A revealing outfit and yet covered enough.
Kavi looks straight up like someone out of those fairy tails Stitch sometimes reads.
<You look beautiful.>
<I know.>
Strife snorts at Kavi's smirk.
<Do you want to come inside?>
<That’s a horrible choice of words, Strife. >
<… Nevermind. Good night, babe. >
Strife playfully steps back to close the door but stops as Kavi moves further forward, stepping into the apartment.
<Why don’t you come inside?>
Kavi grins wider, playfully and towards the living area.
<… You are horrible you know?>
The Corrie shakes his head, sighs but his eyes darken.
<So you don’t want to?>
<… I need to leave in a few hours…>
<Don’t tell me you want to wait at the door. That’s concerning. We can’t even see the stars from here.>
Strife looks a little baffled and irritated at his now innocent looking boyfriend.
He brushes a hand trough his beard and steps back inside, closing the door.
<That wasn’t- You are unbelievable. That was my pizza slice.>
Kavi hums. He knows that Strife wasn’t going to eat it. Strife always has a hard time eating the night before a mission.
Shaking his head he walks back towards the sergeant and stretches his arms out to cup his cheeks and brush his fingers trough his neat, soft beard.
<Can I stay here… wait here whenever I am allowed to leave?>
The playful smile disappeared and Strife’s heart cracks. There is so much fear and love in those pine green eyes…
The corrie pulls Kavi closer, tenderly kissing his cheek.
<My home is your home. Just don’t stash it with weird looking animals again…>
< But Sticker loved it.>
Kavi laughs quietly and goes on tip toes to brush his lips against Strife’s, before he can complain.
Strife sighs in the kiss, wraps his arm tighter around the pink haired and deepens the kiss passionately, breaking it after a few minutes to catch some air.
<Let me take care of you?>
<If you promise to return?>
<I will always find you. >
<K'oyacyi.>
With that said, Kavi seals his lips with Strife’s again. This time the kiss is slower, calmer, full of promises but no goodbye's.
Strife will hold him that night until the pink haired falls asleep.

2023 Wrap-up
I fulfilled 31 countries for the World Challenge this year, bringing my total up to 57 out of 208.
I also read about 14 other books that were repeats of countries, additional books in series, and ones I just randomly picked up, so something like 44 in total.
I also finished up all the backlog of countries I had rolled with the randomizer, so in the new year I will get to roll some new ones - yay, exciting.
So here are my top favorites from the year!
Top 5 reads in 2023
Tumblr media
The Orphan Sky by Ella Leya
A really beautiful novel of a prodigy pianist coming of age in Soviet Azerbaijan. Musical prose and just breathtaking story.
2. The Exiles of Crocodile Island by Henye Meyer
This was an unexpectedly really good book that I was lucky to find for the tiny islands of São Tomé & Príncipe. Following a group of Jewish children forced to a Portuguese settlement. Really insightful characterization and lovely writing.
3. The Man Who Spoke Snakish by Andrus Kivirähk
Such a unique folklore-esque story by an Estonian author. A clash of modernity with ancient ways, and what gets forgotten.
4. The Key by Sara Elfgren & Mats Strandberg
Book 3 and finale of the Engelsfors series set in Sweden really brought the series to an amazing climax and gave us great character development. Also I think, the longest book I read this year.
5. The Wicked Bargain by Gabe Cole Novoa
Super fun queer pirate adventure! This was just so refreshing and comforting at the same time.
Honorable mentions:
All Our Hidden Gifts by Caroline O'Donoghue; Travelers Along the Way by Aminah Mae Safi; I Am Kavi by Thushanthi Ponweera; On the Edge of Gone by Corrine Duyvis; When a Bulbul Sings by Hawaa Ayoub

My WORSE WORSE WORSE nightmare is if I begin thinking I m a bad poetry writer. It'd ruin me so fucking bad and ever since I have had my art blocks. I feel useless. poetry was the only thing that I truly think has been with me all the time, I have given up on so many hobbies on the way. could never get over some, some don't matter anymore but what textual verses have given me has always been evergreen. It required nothing ever- no noises or instruments like how music demands, no movement, no colours or canvas nothing- just me, the poets who raised me and words that drain me in everyday talking and reassure me when its just us. Could always do so much with just a keyboard, pen, paper and my brain that doesn't fucking shut up, thinks too loud, doesn't let me sleep or work. I m afraid of not being understood or not framing me correctly, not using the right words, taking too much time, using a word I forget the meaning of, the interpretations not being clear enough and so so so many other things , all of it results in me being unable to ever write a forced verse. Itni bhi self esteem down na hojaye ke bhai idk fuck
Jb koi apne hi lafzo ko bhulne lage.
Phir Kya uss shaks ko kavi khtay hai?
Suna hai ke qawaid-e-kala kuch nahi
Phir sirf Mujhe kyu 'dilasa' bhol jata hai
Ye Kavi kaha rhte hai?
Kavi kisko khte hai?

Update: New Ideas and Changes to the Already Existing!
lots of time has passed since i updated this project - and to the ones that were let down by my negligence, i apologise. life happened.
but i’m back now! and, after reading a whole lot of books, i’m back with tons of new ideas that i wish to cover in this post. i will spare you the rest of my rants; let’s begin!
1. Name Changes
as scary as this may sound, it’s in fact true that i’ve been thinking of changes to the main6, especially to their individual characterization. i realized that i spent a lot of my creativity on their dynamics as a group and less on their idiosyncrasies, which isn’t right!
first of all, the names of the main cast seemed a bit uninspired to me, despite all the effort i put into finding fitting names for them. some of are an aquired taste - such as Milo and Piper. they can stay.
Shreya i think is the most fitting name i have for now. Phala as well, although if i suddenly get sick of it, i might rethink it a little. (in the midst of writing this, i got sick of it. read more to find out!)
Kaji seems uninspired. so does Filip. especially Filip.
let’s take the whole crew of characters we know so far and (/re)name them.
Filip will now be known as Ailmar
Filip is too boring a name for a prince, let’s be honest. in my humble view, Ailmar does way better justice to his actual strenght - both physical, as he’s not a lithe guy, and mental, with his seer capabilities and all that. he’s an avid reader and especially passioned by mythology and history - of course he’s smart as a result.
Kaji will now be known as Kavi
not as big of a change as the previous one, but one just as important (at least to me). Kaji felt fitting in a way, i guess. possibly the syllable Ka. fun little fact, which i will have tons of fun writing around when the time comes, his full name is Kavinder. this will absolutely become a subject of attempted teasing and good fun in the future.
(i know the syllables in Kavinder are Ka-vin-der, and his nickname should grammatically be Kavin, but it sounds way too much like Kevin, which in now way am i allowing to happen. sorry not sorry, he’s now to be known as Kavi alone.)
Shreya will continue to be known as Shreya
Milo will continue to be known as Milo
Piper will continue to be known as Piper
Phala will now be known as Ophelia
while i quite like the name Phala, i feel as if it is a bit lackluster. it feels too empty to be deserving of a goddess, thus it’s now to be known as Ophelia! the roots (ph and la) are still there, so hopefully so is the familiarity.
Unnamed older brother of Ailmar will now be known as Neldor
Neldor is the crown prince and several years older than Ailmar. i originally planned to have him named Julio or Julian... or something along this line. however, as with Filip, the name just felt too basic and real-world for me to use into a light fantasy story. more about him will be written about later - i thought plenty on his character!
Maple will continue to be known as Maple
Maple is Piper’s older sister. she is a witch and lives with a small group of witches hidden away from the eyes of the Kingdom. she will also become Shreya’s love interest later on. more on her to be written.
EM will now be known as Farkas
EM stands for Enemy Man and was the temporary way i chose to call one of the main “villains” of the main6. from now on though, his name is Farkas. more to be disclosed on him later.
EW will now be known as Lethene
EW stands for Enemy Woman and, just like EM, was her temporary given name. she is the other villain in this story, partner of Farkas. more about these two will be talked about later.
2. Character Improvements
as i already said, i got carried away at first by the influx of new ideas for a project that i neglected a very important aspect of any story - it’s characters and their individuality. while plot can be just as important, i personally place a lot of the enjoyment of reading a book on the characters and their development throughout their adventures. i like seeing what they are like from their debut and compare it to what they become in their last appearance. i like seeing how their views change - or don’t, and the reasonings for it. i like already established dynamics between charactes, but enjoy a whole lot more to see how they grow from there on, or how they start off vs. how they end up. i like seeing the journey of each character, both in terms of their personal development as well as their social growth.
all that said, the first obvious amendment to be done is to Ailmar.
as the 2nd royal child, he is treated with less strictness than Neldor. Neldor was brought up being constantly reminded that he is to inherit the throne and shoulder all the responsabilities that come with ruling a kingdom, thus he was pressured into learning the ways of ruling and fighting. as a result, the king and the queen paid more attention to Neldor’s upbringing.
Ailmar was affected by his parents’ neglicence of his childhood, and often withdrew from social and political gatherings (family dinners) to indulge in his passions instead - reading on the Kingdom’s history, myths, folktales and fairytales. he never strayed away from the taboo subject of magic, rather dwelled in the fantastical books and educated himself on it’s peculiarity.
While Neldor was brough up to become a ruler, Ailmer was brough up to become a loyal guardian - both of the palace and it’s king, and of his kingdom. his teacher’s persistence on learning him various ways to fight were fruitful at first - he was quite the expert in the art of the sword. however, as soon as he turned 18 years of age, his first vision manifested itself and the stir it caused had it repercussions: word spread in the castle that he was of magical blood and should be cast out of the kindgom, if not beheaded. his royal blood was his defence, and, by the king’s word, was spared from that fate. instead, he was to retire from his studies and training, as to not further enhance his abilities in case he strayed from the kingdom.
Ailmer grew faintly physically ill because of his visions, as well as the sudden  marginalization he faced from his peers. due to his determination to prove himself unguilty of anything treachery -expect housing magic in his blood- he continued to train himself and expand his knowledge in all fields.
at 15 years of age was when Ailmar first met Kavi, the 10 year old.
Kavi had a rough upbringing - from the very beginning, all he could remember was his journey of being passed on from foster home to foster home, not one stay longer than 1 year at most. homelessness was not a strange notion to him.
all the families that had cared and loved him, then abandoned him without as much as a goodbye were the catalyst to his attachment issues. he varried between the two extemes - either loving too much and bearing the heartbreak that came with abandonment, or being too aloof and detached in order to save himself the inevitable heartache. one more often that the other was his indifference, which got him into multiple one sided arguements and even fights from attention-starved kids.
after one such fight, he had been injured more gravely than the usual scraps - a kid got his hands on a real blade and attempted to best him in front of his older peers, hoping to impress. as much as he forestalled an injury, it was imminent; thus the birth of his infamous cheek scar.
before it scarred, however, it bled. and it bled a lot. that was the moment fate introduced him to Prince Ailmar; although young Kavi didn’t know of him at that time. Ailmar was out in the city, under the guidance of one of his fighting teachers, hoping to find some refreshments to indulge in after a successful class. he did not expect in the slightest to stumble upon a gathering of citizens that were murmuring between themselves. upon further inspection, he found the subject of their attention - two young kids, one with a bloodied blade and another with a bloodied cheek.
adults had intervened between them and grabbed the assailant away from the victim, but none had the guts to help that poor, injured kid up. Ailmar did.
untrusting, Kavi only believed Ailmar helped him so he would be sung praises left and right for his bravery. after being illuminated to Ailmar’s identity as a Prince, his next though was that he did what he did to maintain his public stainless image.
only after Ailmar grew to learn of Kavi’s background did he suggest Kavi should come with him to the palace - to heal, nothing more. pity brough on Ailmar sudden affection for the kid, brotherly, as he so wished to get from Neldor. but Neldor was too busy to indulge in brother-to-brother bonding activities, so maybe Ailmar was meant to do it in his stead.
thus Kavi became the victim of Ailmar’s brotherly affection and guidance. not having much of a choice, as any other alternative either did not exist or was significantly worse, Kavi stayed with Ailmar at the palace. they trained together, they ate together, they played together. Kavi, once again subject of his attachment issues, fell victim to one of the extremes: he got himself immensely attached to Ailmar.
when Ailmar started experiencing visions, Kavi was his biggest support. after three whole years spent together (Ailmar now 18 and Kavi 13), Kavi familiarized himself with the notions Ailmar liked studying - such as magic, so he was no stranger to the actual aspects of magic, as well as the unexplainable fear people garnered for it.
people’s ideas about magic were born out fear of what they could not understand* after all, and they could not understand Ailmar’s ability.
* = “Ideas about magic were born of fear of what they could not understand.” - quote taken from ‘The Priory of the Orange Tree’, by Samantha Shannon.

"The Prison Healer" by Lynette Noni
I am wholly stunned and in awe at "The Prison Healer." It's saturated with romance, suspense, friendship, heartache, and mystery. I'm going to do my best to avoid spoilers as I unload everything that is this thrill of a story.
"The Prison Healer" follows Kiva, a seventeen year-old healer at the notorious prison of Wenderall known as Zalindov. The entire story takes place within the prison and the author so graciously included maps to everything, that I referenced several times throughout reading.
Kiva has done her best to stay alive within the prison for ten years, and in doing so, she's made some enemies. However, this story also introduces her to a cast of characters that soon become essential to her survival in the prison, despite Kiva's attempts to remain isolated. I loved reading these characters together so much. Tipp, Naari, Mot, Rooke... Jaren. The author wrote them and their relationships with each other incredibly well, and I would not want to imagine this story continuing on without any of them. I don't know how to explain it, but the whole dynamic just worked. It was the best group of characters together that I've read in a long time.
I won't give anything away, I promise, but I will say that not everything is as it seems in this book. "The Prison Healer" was full of twists and provided a genuinely thrilling experience for this reader. There were some things I suspected fairly early on, but other things that completely blew my mind. By the final page, I was thoroughly shocked, and my mind was reeling with all the possibilities that could come from these new revelations. I cannot wait to see what happens in book two, "The Gilded Cage." (It's supposed to be arriving at my house THURSDAY, which seems way too long for me to sit with all of this. I can't imagine having read this when it first came out.)
On another note, I love romance novels - especially fantasy romance novels. There is a much larger story brewing beneath the surface in "The Prison Healer," but I was pleasantly surprised that it wasn't lacking in the romance like I initially thought it would be. A bit of foreshadowing makes me believe that romance will be a key element in the sequels, and I'm ready for it. We all know I love Happily-Ever-Afters and I'm hoping beyond hope that this series turns out in my favor.
The writing itself was phenomenal. The story flowed seamlessly and I respect that Lynette Noni was able to keep me so interested with such a "small" setting to the story. Her timing was spot-on, her twists came out of nowhere, and she answered the right questions without overloading the reader with extraneous information that didn't matter to the story. I thought Kavi to be a little naïve at times, but I never got annoyed with her and that's all because of the author. This story was also written from a third-person perspective, which I'm usually indifferent to, but I think it worked supremely well here.
I genuinely liked everything about "The Prison Healer." It's unique and I definitely think more people should be talking about it, which means yes, I highly recommend reading it! I haven't read the other books yet, but I believe it's only going to get better from here - and only a lot more interesting.
A special thanks to @wellwhatisnttaken for recommending this book to me! You definitely hit your target with this one, and I'm so glad to dive into this story.
