- Another thing he really likes about you is how you care about others and try to encourage them to come out of their shells; it’s a lot like how he interacts with other people. - When Tanjirō begins to develop feelings for you, he won’t realize it at first. He’s a bit oblivious in that sense. But he’ll definitely start noticing how different it feels to be around you. He’ll pick them and make a cute bouquet out of them, maybe even with a pretty ribbon to finish it off. Afterwards, he’ll go looking for you and when he does find you – hopefully alone – he’ll awkwardly present the bouquet while practically shouting “I like you!” (think Rengoku kind of shouting, lmao). His face will be very flushed and he’ll be pretty much radiating his nervousness. If you accept right away, boy’s gonna turn into a ball of happy sunshine. Still a bit nervous, but a happy ball of sunshine nonetheless.

- Tanjirō will be very respectful of your preference to take physical touch slow. He’ll always make sure to get your consent before doing anything like handholding and stuff. Once you become comfortable with contact, he’ll be happy to do PDA with you. Granted, he will be pretty flustered at first. He’ll get used to it eventually though. If you enjoy teasing your partner, you better tease him lots before he gets used to the PDA! Tanjirō’s favorite form of PDA would most likely be handholding. It’s simple but sweet.

- He’s definitely going to be curious about your past relationships, especially when he learns that they didn’t go so well. But he won’t pry, as he doesn’t want to bring up any bad memories or make you uncomfortable. However, if you decide to open up to him about your former relationships, he’ll gladly lend an ear (and may silently rage at your former partners for whatever harmful things they may have done to you). Whether you decide to tell him or not, he’ll do his best to show you what a good boyfriend he can be and that you won’t regret entering a relationship with him.

- Go ahead and be as clingy as you want with Tanjirō! He won’t mind at all. As a matter of fact, he’ll find it very cute. He’s already happy to be spending time with you, and knowing that you want to be with him as well makes him happier.

- With how friendly he is towards strangers and friends alike, some jealousy might be inevitable. He may not realize it at first, so unless you explicitly tell him, he’ll have to rely on his nose to find out. But once he knows that you’re jealous, if he’s still interacting with the person that caused it, he’ll quickly distance himself from them (physically, not emotionally) for the time being and will keep in mind on how he should engage with them differently in the future. He’ll also make sure to reassure you that you’re the only one he has eyes for.  

- Tanjirō may not exactly be quiet or shy, but he’s definitely sweet! He’ll give you compliments throughout the day. He’ll do his part and help around the house whenever he’s not out on missions. Though most of the times, he’ll end up completing all the house chores before you wake in the morning. He pays attention to the little things you do and say, and will do something to cheer you up if he notices you’re feeling down. When he goes out, he’ll sometimes bring back small gifts like trinkets that remind you of him or a nice bouquet of wild flowers that he handpicked for you.

- Nezuko loves you! She's already viewing you as a part of the family when Tanjirō officially introduces you to her. No surprise there, since she’s been able to hear her brother’s interactions with you through her box. She’ll treat you like an older sister and often follows you around when Tanjirō is busy doing other stuff. Even though you have short hair, she likes styling it and at one point, will end up borrowing Shinobu’s hair clip to use on your hair. Who knows, if Shinobu sees you with her clip and likes what she sees, she might just give you one to keep. Oh, and Nezuko will be delighted if you style her hair back in return.

- Now, Zenitsu and Inosuke on the other hand… They definitely won’t be as friendly as Nezuko when they first meet you. Zenitsu will most likely be frightened by your RBF, whereas Inosuke will think you’re trying to initiate a fight with him. It’ll be a chaotic first-meeting, to say the least. The two will end up getting scolded by Tanjirō for behaving like that towards his girlfriend. But rest assured that they’ll warm up to you in time! Just be warned that Inosuke will challenge you to a fight if you look at him for too long without saying anything.

- Although Tanjirō does not agree with how you deal with the people you dislike, he won’t try to interfere or stop you. He trusts that you have a good reason to dislike them. But if he thinks there may be negative consequences for you or you’re going too far, he will intervene.

- Your tendency to pick fights that you often can’t win is rather worrisome for him. It’ll be a relief for him if he happens to be there to help back you up, but when he’s not with you, it’s definitely something that can cause him quite a bit of worry. He’ll voice his concerns to you and if possible, try to prevent any fights that he foresees might happen.

- Tanjirō can smell it whenever you’re upset. He won’t try to stop you when you leave, as he believes it’s better to give you some space. But when you come back and act like everything is fine, even when he can smell that it isn’t, you can bet that he’s not going to let that just go by. He will talk to you about whatever may have upset you earlier and what can be done to resolve the issue. He’ll be gentle but firm about it, so trying to walk away again won’t work. If he was the one who upset you, he wants you to tell him exactly what it was that said or did that caused it. Even if he knows what it was he did, he’ll still ask anyway, as there may be more to it that he hasn’t realized. Now, if it’s something or someone else that has upset you, Tanjirō will do his best to help you resolve the problem. Whatever the cause towards your distress may be, he doesn’t want you to keep all those negative emotions inside. He wants to help you release those feelings, or at least help to lessen the burden.

- Tanjirō has fun going on walks with you. He’ll probably find a special spot where the two of you can often go during walks. If you happen to overexert yourself during your walks, Tanjirō won’t hesitate to carry you all the way back. Even if you try to protest against it, he’ll be very stubborn about not letting you walk on your own any further.

- Your eyes remind him of the trees on the mountain he grew up on and he finds them to be very beautiful. He’ll compliment them often and you may even notice him getting lost in your gaze during conversations.

- Knowing how you enjoy reading, he will sometimes bring home books for you that he thinks you might like. If you have a lot of books at home, he’ll build you a bookshelf for them. I think something he’d really enjoy would be training in the yard during a nice sunny day, with you reading on the engawa. The two of you may be doing your own things, but can still enjoy each other’s presence.

- The first time he hears you sing, he’s absolutely captivated. You may consider yourself as only a relatively decent singer, but to him, your singing abilities are on par with his mother’s (and we know how wonderfully she sings). When you tell him that you often work at jazz clubs and such, he’s going to be clueless. Like, completely and utterly clueless. Having grown up in the mountains, Tanjirō knows nothing about those kind of establishments, much less ever heard of jazz. Nonetheless, he’s happy for you that you can share your singing with others. He’ll definitely tag along at some point when you go off to work, so he can check out what a jazz club is like and watch you perform. If there are establishments that you frequent often for work, he’ll try to swing by after completing missions. Nothing rejuvenates him more after an exhausting fight than being able to see and surprise you. And if you’re not too tired from work, you can bet that he’ll take you out on a date around the city afterwards.

- Tanjirō loves eating the things you cook! I think seeing the way he enjoys your food would give some pretty good motivation to cook more, but during the times you don’t feel motivated, no worries. He appreciates that you take the time and effort to cook for him, and won’t push you to cook more. As a matter of fact, he’ll happily cook for you instead! He’s never really had to worry much about cooking for others since he’s mostly making things for himself, so his dishes may be a bit on the simple side. But the amount of love he puts into them will make up for it!

- Your knowledge about medicine is definitely going to come in handy since Tanjirō is a demon slayer. No matter how good he may be at fighting, he’ll sometimes still return from missions with wounds ranging from small to severe. If it’s severe, then of course Shinobu will be the one treating them. Even so, she won’t be there to keep an eye on his wound throughout the entire healing process. And what does that mean? It means a slot just opened up for someone to help look after Tanjrio during his recovery! Of course, he doesn’t expect you to look after him every single time, but he’ll be very happy whenever you do. And even if his wounds are very minor, he’ll still come to you for treatment. After all, who doesn’t enjoy getting some special attention from their partner every now and then? If you’re a demon slayer as well, Tanjirō will make sure to return the favor by taking care of you any time you get injured. Not saying that he won't tend to your injuries if you aren't a demon slayer. He still will, and with just as much love!

Modern AU Headcanons:

- He likes how enthusiastic you are when it comes to volunteering. Nothing speaks more about a person’s character than doing kind deeds! It warms his heart to see how you interact with the shelter animals and hospital patients. He’ll happily volunteer alongside you whenever he has the time.

- Before he met you, anime was something that Tanjirō knew existed (Zenitsu would probably rave on and on about all these cute anime girls to him and Inosuke) but wasn’t something he was interested in. However, once you stepped into his life, his interest in anime was piqued. At first, he just watched with you out of curiosity, to see what kind of things you like to watch. Then, he got hooked. Whatever anime you’d watch, he’d be watching alongside you. He has fun discussing the episodes and all with you afterwards. If the two of you are in the middle of watching a show together, you can rest assured that he won’t go off to watch the rest of the episodes alone. He’ll make sure to watch everything with you to the end, even if the suspense is killing him during the times you guys are too busy to watch. Oh, and Tanjirō is the type who wears his heart on his sleeve while he watches. If it’s a funny scene, he’ll laugh like there’s no tomorrow. And if it’s a sad scene, he’ll be bawling his eyes out (like, there'll be piles of tissues on the floor after the scene is over).

- You know the band that Tanjirō, Insokue, Zenitsu, and Tengen formed? The “Chic-N-Scruffy Democracy”? Well, once you tell him that you know how to play the drums and piano, Tanjirō is going to be very enthusiastic in getting you to join the band. He’ll even bring out his trump card if you refuse the first time: his puppy eyes that so far, no one has been able to say no to. It might be in your best interest to not join though, considering how the band has not one, but two tone-deaf members (cough Tanjirō and Insokue cough). That is, unless you enjoy getting your eardrums defiled.

Hello there! I was wondering if I can get a Demon Slayer, Black butler, and BNHA match up?

I'm a straight female, 5ft and 110lbs. I have short black hair and dark brown eyes. I'm slight on the chubby side as well. I'm in between pale and light brown skinned. I'm a pure Filipino and I have prescription glasses. I've often been called a "soft girl" but I really don't have a certain styles.
