bringing a guy to her room wasn't on her first list of doings when dating this so-called guy, not because she was ashamed of the pictures on her walls or the stuffed animals and comfy cushions on the bed but because her parents wouldn't allow that to happen if she wasn't at least married to him. and this wasn't even her room anymore, for a long time now actually. it was the room of the girl she used to be and tucked inside a backpack and some luggage to live a in dorm with a thousand other girls who might as well have a room just like hers — full of dreams and ambitions to be on someone's wall to someday. these decorations didn't even compare to the ones in the dorm, but it wasn't like zyian would ever be invited to see them. maybe he could catch some glimpses in a video on youtube or a live of theirs if he ever saw one, but she wasn't going to give him any hope of that knowing how strict their managers are.

and this guy was different for two reasons. first being that he was practically part of the family since her sister and her brother decided to unify in matrimony. which explains why no one would give them a scolding for hiding in her room for a few minutes to get out of the craziness of the gathering once their families got together. second and most importantly (and equally embarrassing) was he being one of the guys in the pictures on the wall. right there under the two big pyd posters, was one of his group as well. she might argue that he was one of their best as a group, they never did have that teammate essence just as the other groups on her wall but damn they look good. they have a different kind of essence that's hard to find in a kpop group like ever and she used to be obsessed with their dance's as well. sobin lost count of how many nights she used to put her headphones on and her phone on the group, catching every move. her mind was as alive as her memory, she could still perform it just as well as she did when she first decorated them probably even better than the owners of the movements themselves — honestly, it wasn't that hard.

"well, it is undeniably the best comeback. just the concept, the title track... and that shot! like who is doing this? no one." she teased, but she was sincere and letting just a taste of the fangirl that she is. sobin couldn't hold back who she was just to appeal to a hot guy, especially if this hot guy in question was one of your favorite idols and probably the most handsome guy you ever met in person. — except maybe for dino and pilkyu, oh and hyuntae! definitely hyuntae. they bonded over her admiration for him and her overall necessity to know everything about him. saying it like that it might as well say she was crazy and annoying, but there was an adorable concept behind that interest that made zyian fall for her inquisitive talks and her quirky and not-so-subtle flirting. "you can't even compare it. it's unfair." unfair in the sense that they had a shitty company and a half-baked dream of making easy money, but she wouldn't touch that scar unless zyian brought it up and he did constantly, pointing out that picture was already arguing how ridiculous she was for believing it. yet she didn't care, if she didn't wish on a group like theirs she wouldn't have trained to be on a group of her own and wouldn't also have the opportunity to kiss his lips instead of the cold paper on the wall. the reality was far better than the fantasy, that's why sobin would never stop dreaming.

It is more fascinating as an actor, I think, to empathize with someone deeply faulted and wrong, to try and find your way into why they are doing these things. [Playing] a guy who is doing all the right things and is driven by being good, it’s harder to do that. And I think people who do it successfully, who play classically heroic roles, are very talented actors. But at the moment, I just find it more interesting looking for the fucked-up people.

Good on Kit! I hope he gets to play all sorts of interesting characters. Any actor worth his/her salt should be able to play a villain.

Oh no my hot nerd randomly started doing maths, is there something wrong with him?

Never fear, your resident hot nerd is fine, he is just restless and needs some enrichment.

Here’s a handy explanation to try to understand what your favourite hot nerd was doing. So without further ado let’s learn some maths for Bible. I love him. [don’t look under the cut unless you’re prepared to see maths].

So he has a system of linear equations that he needs to solve. To do this, represent the equations in matrix form and from there construct an “augmented matrix”. {Just a fancy way of saying you write it adding the columns of one matrix onto the end of the other}. Like so:

To solve it, we do something called “Gaussian elimination”, essentially “row operations” (changing the rows in a special way) to make it into (row) “echelon form”.

These “row operations” are:

Switch two rows

Multiply a row by a non-zero constant

Add a multiple of one row to another. (subtraction is just adding a negative multiple of a row).

We do this to make the matrix into “echelon form”. Uh, what? It just means we do row operations until we get our matrix to have a form like:

0s, pivots (specifically non-zero), squares - any entry (could be 0).

To be more explicit, a matrix is in (row) echelon form if

Any rows of complete zeros are below all other non-zero rows.(i.e. at the bottom)

Each leading entry [pivot] (i.e. leftmost non-zero entry) of a row is in a column to the right of all pivots above it.

All entries in a column below a pivot are zero.

Now I always found that super complicated to remember so I personally prefer to remember it in a different way: a staircase!

We want a (downwards) staircase constructed of “pivots” to get from the left side of the matrix to the other. Crucially, the stairs can be long but not tall - any step down (if there is one) can only be one level. (by "long" look at B, C or D for the gist).

Below the pivot is the under-staircase storage (so we want it empty i.e zeros).

So we do our row operations, namely 2 and 3,

And arrive here at an echelon form. It's not important but we match form C from the examples above. We have a lovely staircase.

Next we’re going to want to make it into Reduced Echelon Form (REF) by doing some more row operations. Essentially, we want to make our pivots strictly into 1’s and any entries in the column above a pivot into 0s.

Why? We do this because a REF is unique so we can consider it an explicit solution to the linear system.

We want our matrix to look like: 

(In our case, we’re C).

So we do more row operations

and arrive at a REF.

We "“translate”" it back into linear equations and find our general solution. 

It’s a pity we didn’t get to see Bible complete his work. Although I understand why - it's because it would have been too difficult to contain his sexiness if we saw any more.

For so, sooo long I wanted a CM Punk and Seth Rollins feud. In my head it was supposed to happen exactly like the cmjf feud minus the "picture" and more like all the videos of blond Seth, jesus Seth, his tweets to Punk, their history and everything that was a near imitation of Punk and his career.

So imagine my surprise when the Punk/Maxwell stuff happened. Almost... almost everything happened just like I had imagined but instead of Seth Rollins, it was MJF.

I guess it was destined to happen.
