coryo: unpopular opinion maybe but like a solid 7/10. will get very huffy and pouty if you try to tickle him though, he is not a fan. has this really cute, uncharacteristic giggle. ribs and underarms are the worst spots and he will curse at you and threaten ur life.

finnick: he's one of those ppl that can turn being ticklish on and off like a superpower, but if you catch him off guard, he's like a 6/10. thinks it's a cute way to flirt so he'll let you get away with it but then he will turn the tables later. snorts when he laughs too hard and is a lil embarrassed about it.

gale: not that ticklish, like a 4/10. only ticklish in a few places like his ribs. will immediately turn the tables if you try to tickle him.

johanna: idk she genuinely strikes me as someone who is not ticklish at all, like a 0/10 but maybe she has one or two sensitive spots. if you try tickling her, she is immediately going to pin you down and destroy you. proceed with caution.

katniss: also doesn't have very ticklish energy to me?? like, she is, most people are, but she's like a very normal amount of sensitive, like a 6/10 probably. her neck and ears are ticklish and she will flail and kick if you try.

lucy gray: i don't know why i, the person who normally has to headcanon every character i like as being extremely ticklish, is not getting ticklish vibes from these characters but lucy gray is just...not that sensitive either!! she's ticklish on her sides mostly and has this adorable, melodic laugh, but i also think of all these characters, she's the one i picture would like being tickled.

peeta: okay, now peeta is definitely very ticklish, like a 7 or 8/10. his stomach is his worst spot and he has this adorable laugh that just makes people melt. is very squirmy but will try to stay still so he doesn't accidentally whack you.

sejanus: officially dubbing him the most ticklish hunger games character, coming in at a 9/10. just look at that cute face and tell me he isn't ticklish, i dare you. gets very flustered and giggly. sensitive everywhere, absolutely adorable i lvoe him.

okay so i think finnick would dote on you so much. he wouldn’t care about getting sick—like, at all. this man is insisting he has a good immune system and giving you a kiss to prove his point. he’ll give you a massage to get rid of all the aches and pains. he will hold back your hair as you’re getting sick and cuddle you on the sofa when you’re done. in short get yourself a partner like finnick odair.

johanna… my sweet girl johanna. her love language is basically just bullying you. i’m sorry but its true! she’d tell you to suck it up at first 😭 but then she’s like “oh shit, youre actually sick” and she’ll pull it together. jo will make you chicken noodle soup that tastes so bad but it’s lowkey a healing remedy. she would definitely smooth your hair off your forehead and kiss the back of your hand but i think she’s petrified of getting sick herself so that’s about as far as she’ll go.

Thinking about Finnick Odair (thg spoilers)

When Annie was captured by the Capitol Finnick realised that he couldn’t protect her this time. He couldn’t help her, couldn’t save her. He blames himself.

“I wish she was dead. I wish they were all dead and we were too”

District 13 gave him a rope to fidget with. Notice how the rope is short? They were probably afraid he would do something to himself. He even told Katniss he wished he was dead in this scene^ (And he joked about it in a deleted scene)

Finnick wishes Annie was dead too. He doesn’t want her to go through more pain. He wants to join her in death. He’s hoping for a more peaceful life there. He wants to see Mags again. He wants to live his life the fullest without feeling like a robot.

Finnick wants to be asleep, doesn’t matter if he has bad dreams. He doesn’t want to wake up if Annie isn’t at his side.

First Finnick had lost himself.

Then he lost Mags.

And now he might lose his Annie too.

Finnick gives Katniss advice. He shows that he has experience with dealing with nightmares. He is only 24 and already has gone through so much trauma. While still processing his grief, he makes the effort to help his friend with hers. While still processing his grief, he contributes to the revolution by sharing secrets about the people who hurt him. Secrets he collected, knowing they would come in handy later. He used the brutal situations he was forced into to his advantage. To get the victors back.

He finally had her back. He finally could help her heal. He finally got the opportunity to shield her from harm by participating in the '76th Hunger games’ to end this war. I like to think he did it for her. And it got him killed.

The right person but not enough time.

i reread the end of mockingjay recently just to feel something and i was reminded that katniss has gray eyes, cuz for some reason my brain cannot accept it.

and it got me thinking about a parallel universe where kat has brown eyes like i've always imagined it. because brown eyes are usually described as being big, soulful, deep, innocent and katniss is literally a feral chihuahua, while peeta has blue eyes. blue eyes are usually described as cold or icy, but peeta is literally the kindest golden retriever ever. i think it would be sweet.

I love your Finnick x Annie fanart,and everything about it. However,I'm going to make a very specific compliment about your Annie fanart:she always looks fit and somewhat muscular, even (at least as an adult). I've never vibed with her as a small, delicate-looking woman. Besides,she survived a flooded arena,one needs skill, stamina and strength. To top it all,I love the idea of Annie looking like an Olympic swimmer and still being the "Poor Mad Girl" - even in the books,it seemed like she got that nickname due to her PTSD showing in awkward ways(plus,I've seen an autistic HC for her,and it made sense to me that she'd have both) and being showcased to all of Panem.

Ironically,the one I imagined being small and thin was Johanna Mason,lol. Her strategy in the Games was basically "Pretend to be the weepy little girl".

Thank you! And I agree! I actually headcanon that Annie was a career tribute (but not a volunteer, I have a whole thing about it and my ideas about how all the career districts handle their tributes differently) so I definitely think she would have been very strong going into the games.

I also can see her losing a lot of muscle/weight after her games though. Whatever muscle she does gain back I think would be from running, walking, but especially swimming over the last 5 years

But even with that in mind I like drawing her with naturally wider shoulders and on the taller side because I also like the idea of her looking like a pro swimmer so she always looks stronger even at her "weakest"

And about Johanna, I imagine her with like a sleeper build lol. Like she definitely has muscle from working in lumber, but I also imagine her really tiny too

I hope I am wording this right but can you do a Johanna Mason x fem!reader where Johanna and the reader are arguing about something and Johanna raises her hand to make a point which causes the reader to flinch away? (I also apologize if I've sent in this request before because I can't remember if I did or didn't)

Arguments weren't rare or new with Johanna

Sometimes they were silly and meaningless, other times they were severe and caused tension

Thankfully, serious arguments didn't happen often

But no matter who started it, the conflict was usually resolved either by you making up to Johanna in your own way or Johanna giving a grumpy but sincere apology

However this time it wasn't just some petty argument. This was serious, more serious than any of your previous fights

The fight progressed further and further until you and Johanna were yelling at each other to try to get the point across to the other

You were full of anger, and both of you had gotten more aggressive in your language towards each other

After some rage-filled comment towards Johanna, she had stepped forward raising a finger toward you, ready to tell you to never say something like that to her

But she froze and lowered her hand when she saw you stiffen up and flinch back

At first, she has no idea what to do or say. She had never been violent towards you or laid her hands on you in a harsh way, but you still flinched.

Was she scaring you? Did you really think she would hurt you over a stupid argument?

She felt angry and upset and not towards you, but herself

Sure, she had killed people but that was completely in self-defense, to survive the hunger games. But you had to know that she would never hurt you like that right?

She doesn't say anything, she looks down at the ground before walking off

Sometime later after the both of you have cooled off, Johanna comes with a peace offering, most likely a gift she had stored away or your favorite food

That's when she apologizes for letting the argument get out of hand, for saying things she shouldn't have, and for scaring you into thinking she would ever lay her hands on you

And once you two have sorted through things, she wants to know why you flinched away

If it was because it was a natural reaction because of trauma, she understands and is willing to hear you vent about it

If it was because you were scared she would hit you, she explains that she would never hurt you in any way

johanna is a quality time girl. she isn’t very mushy or affectionate most of the time, ahe struggles to be super intimate with people, but just genuinely loving and trusting you enough to feel comfortable lounging on a couch together, both reading separate books, or working out, or cooking together is just peak romance for her.

katniss also likes quality time. accompanying her while she hunts, or just doing anything together really helps her feel close to you. also, hot take, but i think katniss does actually have physical touch as a big one, too — she isn’t touchy with people unless she really cares about them. but when she loves you, she loves to cuddle, she just won’t admit it out loud.

lucy gray loves physical touch and a mix of words of affirmation/gifts — writing a song for you is both a gift and a whole lyrical masterpiece about her feelings for you. she’s also very touchy and loves to kiss, cuddle, hug, etc.

tigris is a gift-giver/acts of service with a touch of words of affirmation girly. she loves to make you clothes, then tell you how pretty you look in them. she also likes to receive those things. hearing kind words and receiving special little trinkets makes her feel so loved!! especially since she has been taking care of people for so long, she likes to feel cared for with those, as well as acts of service.

Katniss Everdeen ♫↬ She's a top lean switch
