Top 10 Sus Jikook Moments

There are way too many moments to possibly list, but my friend and I thought it would be fun to compile a list of sus jikook moments. 

10. 2021 Jimin Birthday Live

Cute and flustered Jimin calling Jungkook? Jungkook coming immediately to spend time with his boyfriend? Hobi calling out why Jimin was in Jungkook’s studio? So many questions.

9. 2015 Award Show Back Hug

Let’s be real, there are plenty of questionable back hug moments, but this one is particularly interesting. The fact that it was so early in their relationship. The fact that it took place at a public award show. The way Jungkook held onto Jimin and how they swayed together. The questionable looks from the other members. I see you jikook, I see you.

Honorable back hug mention is the BE live and the way Jungkook caged Jimin for an incredibly long time with their matching hair. Exuding boyfriend energy to the max.

8. Cute Feet During PJ Run

Honestly, this is just one of my favorite moments that makes me feel giddy. How comfortable they are resting on one another. The way they’re playing with their feet. Jimin’s surprised laugh when Jungkook plays along. And let’s not forget the special photo of Jungkook spooning Jimin.

7. “Let me give you a hug” Dance Practice

Am I the only one who has watched this clip over and over? We get to see how even during work they are always having fun together. But how can we not swoon over Jungkook’s smitten face as Jimin fails to lift him, and the way his smile grows brighter when he lifts Jimin like it’s nothing. Jimin tries to lift him one more time, but fails and instead hugs Jungkook and nuzzles into his neck ever so slightly. 

6. Jungkook’s Snow Gift

We should all know this moment. Bon Voyage season 4 in New Zealand. This is the beginning of Jungkook really doing whatever the hell he wants, and he disappears one morning to go on a mountain hike and returns with a chunk of snow, much to everyone’s confusion. He specifically waits for Jimin to wake up and excitedly shows and gives it to him. Jimin is, understandably confused, but we all understand the intent.

5. Malta Room Sharing

I’ll be honest, finding out about this speculation was what thrust me into the world of jikook. (It doesn’t seem to exist anymore, but I had wandered across an analysis video a few years ago). Obviously, we don’t know anything for sure, but there are enough clues here, as well as in many other occasions, that make it possible jikook were room sharing.

Similar vibe to number 5, but cranked up to 100. I don’t need to go in depth into this, because we all know, but my two cents is that Jimin was in that room. (Just as he hid in Jungkook’s room during the 2019 NJ live). What were they doing in a dark hotel room with sensual music playing? Eating bread, of course.

2. MAMA 2018

What I would give to hear everything the man sitting next to them heard. Something was truly in the air that day. They were all over each other and incredibly lovey dovey. While we can’t know for sure what they actually said to each other, the look in Jungkook’s eyes speaks volumes.

1. Rose Bowl

Are we surprised this is my number 1? There are so many moments that exist, but all jikookers come back to this one. There are so many questions about why. Why nibble the ear? Why confess his love? Why give a kiss? (We all know why). But the emotions are palpable, as they would be at the end of a high intensity concert. Jimin was emotional, and Jungkook went to console Jimin, as we know he usually does. Hanging onto Jimin’s back isn’t out of the ordinary, but Jungkook took it a step further. And put Jimin’s ear in his mouth. My assumption is that he was saying something, but ultimately decided actions would speak louder than words. To be clear, he says something first, pulls back, and then goes back in, catches Jimin’s ear, and then delivers a clear kiss to Jimin’s head. There’s no mistaking it. Jungkook was taking care of his baby.

I hope you don’t mind if i add my two cents. I read this ask and realized that we as human beings really have a problem seeing these idols as actual human beings who have layers and complicated feelings.

This non shipper anon mentioned that Jikook stopped being as close around 2021 but that is definitely not true. First of all, many shippers especially taekookers feel like there was a sudden uptick in jikook moments around a certain time (2017) but that is not true at all. Go back and watch content from the very beginning and pay attention to the boys talk on Lives, during festas and other moments and you discover that Jk and Jimin had always been very close. Jimin was the one who Jk spoke to when he got back from the US and contemplated abandoning his dream to become an idol and go for dancing instead.

In a log they did in 2013, we had Jimin and Jungkook telling us that the two of them were in the habit of putting blankets and sleeping together on the floor outside their rooms. The very first bangtan bomb that was ever posted was a of Jk taking videos of Jimin back in 2013. During Festa 2014, we heard from the members that Jk usually piled clothes on his bed to go sleep in Jimin’s bed and even back then, when Jk was asked which hyung comforted him the most, he said it was Jimin. Fast forward to 2015 when Tae did a Live from Japan in the hotel room that he shared with Jimin and mentioned that Jimin and Jk were together even though the 3 of them had planned to do a Live together or in 2016 where Jimin was the first member Jk ever gave a birthday gift to. I am listing some of these moments chronologically just to show u that Jimin and Jungkook had always been close, very close infact it’s just that jikook as a ship gained excess popularity in 2017 after Jungkook posted GCF in Tokyo. So it’s not really that there became an uptick in Jikook moments from there, it is that people started paying more attention to Jikook after Jungkook’s GCF. The best way to see some if these things is to watch Vlives and bangtan bombs from pre 2017 era and you will see what i am saying.

As i mentioned before, non shipper anon said Jikook used to be close till like 2021 and mentioned that their last sighting outside of work was around march 2022 but that’s not true at all. Remember that in PTD Vegas Jikook were joined at the hip, they left the concert venue together on all 4 days of the concert and one of those days, they went out to eat with Yoongi and staff and some non shipper Armys visited the restaurant they went to in Vegas and said they were told that Jikook sat together on one table and yoongi sat on another with staff. Plus Jimin and Jk still boxed together with Tommy Saem (Jk’s boxing coach) and based on that April 2022 Live with Vminkookkhope, jikook were even on a diet together. So many times people forget to facture in the point that Jimin started working on his album in May. Immediately after PTD in Vegas Jimin moved in with Pdogg to work on his album because he literally had nothing prepared so i can imagine that during that period, Jk and Jimin didn’t spend as much time together because Jimin was busy and i also noticed that Taekook seemed to get really closer during that period. Infact we all saw taekook hang out outside of work more frequently by the end of 2022 and part of 2023 than we had seen in all their 10 years of being BTS. Like anon said, jikook were the ones always together everywhere both in and outside of work. Even in 2021 while they were in LA, we found out that Jikook worked out together everyday, came back from concerts together, ate together and untop of that, Jk spent alot of time in Jimin’s room hanging out with him. So i feel like the distance we sensed between jikook starting 2022 was mainly because of how busy Jimin got. It tracks.

I am not someone who really believes that any of the members are dating each other but i know that Jimin and Jungkook have and have always had an extremely close bond since debut. It wasn’t always very visible because of their somewhat complicated dynamic and because of the fact that other pairings like taekook, yoonmin and Vmin overshadowed jikook but that bond had always been there and if you pay attention, you see it.

I believe that taekook too have always been close but i also believe that there was a period where they grew a little distant. I know that, that is not something taekookers will ever agree about but it is clear to me because i have been in this fandom since the end of 2015 and have watched alot of things unfold. I agree that jikook were paired up alot at some point but i think that was because of their chemistry and closeness and not because BH had some agenda to push. How does pairing pple in subunits potray them as closest or a couple? Jikook as a ship gained recognition and popularity not because of the company but because of Jungkook and his GCF and yes seeing them together alot on content enforces certain beliefs but did yoh ever think of how you saw them? What are they doing when you see them on content? Most times you see them together in the back even when they are not the main focus of the camera or you see them coming and going together or you see them staying back to rehearse or practice together, or you see them staying back to watch and support each other during their solo practices, or you hear members talking about them as a unit. Hobi saying Jk and Jimin always stay up late together, or Joon saying after watching Jimin and Jk run around/ get along so well he got inspired or Tae mentioning on more than one occasion that Jk and Jimin were spending time together late at night, or Hobi saying that he ate with Jikook who ordered food together. It’s not one thing and certainly not company content that gives people the impression that jikook are extremely close.

Even in chapter two where it was clear that those two probably didn’t see each other as much, anyone could still feel how much they love and missed each other, especially Jungkook with his Jimin centric Lives and constantly inviting Jimin to come over for chicken, boxing, lives etc. Those two are really good friends who are very important to each other and it is normal that sometimes, when life happens and people get busy, some distance creeps in. I feel like that is what happened with Jikook after 2022. They started doing different things, Jimin working on two albums at once, Jk not working on anything and was bored outta his mind up to the extent that at some point, my man was visiting almost all the meat restaurants in korea all alone lol and then he started hanging out with Tae alot after that and then later got busy again. That is life.

I'm not going to assume this is your intent but tangentially, I'm feeling real tired of "JK hung out with Tae cos Jimin wasn't available."

Tae is only valuable when someone else isn't available? That's dehumanising.

But I'm sure that's not what you're saying because you at least recognise Taekook are close and aren't total strangers who got invited seperately to the Dreamiere and just happened to bump into each other.

Jimin was recording an album, he wasn't in solitary confinement?! Tae and JK recorded albums last year too? They all found time to go to Jeju together when JK was undoubtedly busy with album stuff.

Oh I don't know. It's ok if Jikook didn't see each other cos they didn't want to and made time for other people during their schedules, man. TKKrs accept there are times when it looks like JK and Tae might have been beefing. That is also life.

OBSERVATION

ThSo I recently was involved in a pretty heated debate with a Taekooker. I know we are “told” don’t engage but I’m like why the hell not?!??!?! Why do we always have to take the high road??!? Why should we allow them to come into our spaces, spew their lies and garbage and stay silent?!? Absolutely not!

I was watching a recent Jikook video on Youtube and this wolf came in spewing Taekook propaganda and when I tell you I’ve never laughed so hard in my entire life...I’ve never laughed so hard in my entire life. The amount of fake info their shared was actually insane.

False Claim #1

First, they claimed that in this moment (3:32-3:40) JM actually asked JK “are you happy because of Kim Taehyung?” Not “ Are you happy because of me?” which made JK blush.

 (Now please note that they sent me the untranslated version).

And when I corrected and told them JM actually asked if JK was happy because of “him” they responded saying I need to get my ears fixed because in “what world does Kim Taehyung sound like me.” I was gobsmacked by this because...what??!  This idiot literally thought that the Korean word for me (na) and the English word for me were the same LOL. I mean I went to town on this girl. 

I could not understand how someone could be so boldly stupid. When I replied I not so kindly expressed my dismay for her stupidity, “In what world does the Korean word for me, which is “na” sound like the English word for me? I am actually shocked by your stupidity...you can’t even speak Korean but here you are parading around like you know what the hell you are talking about?! Next time watch real content with English subs before coming to our channels spewing BS.” The gist of my response.

Now I thought she had seen the light because she actually responded saying, “I had no idea he said “Me” and Not “Kim Taehyung.” I mean you’d think she’d see the light because the moment she used to justify her belief in Taekook actually proved to be a Jikook moment. But no. This lot is committed to following an obvious lie. A day later she came back spewing more nonsense!

False Claim #2

She then made another false claim. She claimed that Taekook were real because he was suuuppper happy to be on his team in BV. She never specified which BV but I knew she didn’t know what she was talking about. There hasn’t been a BV in which JK was Happy to be with a team member other than JM.

Side note: Taekookers do not realize the depth of Knowledge Jikookers have. They don’t realize that we like watch everything and have the memories of Elephants. They can’t come at us with made up facts because we have the receipts, the dates, and the quotes memorized by heart. We are psychotic like that! So this girl did not realize that when she came at us with her vague facts and made up translations she was about to be destroyed.

So I responded of course in a very condescending way because her linking me a video that proved Jikook and not Taekook made her lose all credibility and she didn’t deserve my respect. I was like girl

 “the gall of you to come back so bold after sending me a video that shot your taekook theory is asinine but if you want to continue lets. First Get your facts straight...pretty sure you don’t mean BV because in BV s1 we have JK begging to share a bed with JM and then JK opting to share a couch with JM instead of his own bed. In BV S2 we have JK gushing to be randomly paired with JM to find their way to their hotel. Then losing a challenge to share a room with JM. You can’t mean BV S3 because JK was viscerally upset to have to share a room with Tae and even got mad at JM when he hinted at where JK’s room was. And You definitely don’t mean BV S4 because we have JK admitting to the fact that for the months off he never spoke to or saw any member other than Jimin and Hobi. So you don’t mean BV. I think what you mean is Summer Package 2018. But even then you’re wrong. Probably because you don’t watch full content and you don’t watch it in English. LOL”

For reference this is the moment she was referring to (1:58-2:14) there’s more to this scene like JK getting happy at the end to be on the team he’s on but it’s clipped out. She didn’t share with me any more clips but by her description I knew this was what she was talking about. 

You see because she doesn’t watch original content or anything with English subtitles she thought JK was happy to be on a team with Tae. She didn’t realize the context. The context was Jk wanted to be on a team with JM (we know this because as Tae was begging him to choose his team, Hobi was like just choose that team, referencing JM’s) but he didn’t want to be on a team where he had to go and pet the sting rays. We know as much because as he’s jumping for joy when the group activities were revealed he says he’s happy he didn’t get sting rays. He wasn’t happy to be with Tae he was happy to get the adventure package he got. 

The danger of only watching Ship videos is that you don’t get full context. This applies to all ship videos taekook and Jikook. Now Jikook videos by and large include context and show you exactly how things are...they don’t add context that doesn’t exist. 

False Claim #3

The girl refused to acknowledge this time she was wrong and just went on tirade of “Okay, you got 2016-2019...I’ll take 2020-2023 any days. Jikook is ancient history now is the time of Taekook.” 

GIRL WHAT! LOL Did she forget Hickey gate, Ear sucking, my favorite thing is waking up seeing Jungkookie, etc...all happened within her supposed Taekook era timeframe. Also, is she calling JK a man hoe...he’s just jumping around from band member to band member...he was with JM but now wit TAe? 

You see how they so willy nilly switch up narratives. At first she was arguing that Taekook have always been real but now they became real in 2020?? I don’t know where 2020 came from because they were still crickets then but okay LOL

But here’s her next false claim...another commenter brought up In the Soop discussion where TAe and Jk were forced to have a sit down conversation about how they’d grown apart for years, like since 2015 and now things were awkward between them. This girl said it was all scripted and wasn’t real but even if it was real 10 minute convo should change all that we see and know to be real and true.

I of course responded what proof do you have that, that convo was scripted? Or are you just believing that because that conversation disproves everything you believe about Taekook? Because you want to know why I know the convo was real, from 2015 to 2020 Taekook were obviously distant there was no content. Every time they were together is was crickets...on numerous occasions Tae complained that JK ignored him. JK even once said all love was loss (in BV S2). Their words and events match up. Also what I see in Taekook is nothing other than platonic friends because they’ve never done anytign exclusive. Literally every moment you use as proof is either a Jikook moment or out of context. You have nothing. 

False Claim #4

Now at this point I was shocked that they were still responding because why wouldn’t they just crawl back into their taekook dungeon of lies? But alas they responded back. “ I’m surprised you didn’t bring up “get out of your imagination comment. You guys looove to bring that up but you don’t even know how to read because Tae was telling the girl to get out her imagination about JK because she was saying ways she sleeps is look at photos of JK

I mean I found her comment quite the comedic relief because here she is telling me I can’t read when she started our convo linking me a video that she clearly didn’t understand because it disproved Taekook but okay! I simply responded by quoting word for word what Tae and the OP said.

One of the things i have personally never understood is why people rank other people’s level of closeness by how much they are seen hanging out. I don’t think how much the members hang out with each other necessarily defines how close they are to each other. (By hangout, i mean them going out and doing different fun activities with each other (that we know of) ) Take Jihope for example. We know that Jihope are really close but how many times have we really seen Jimin and Hobi hang out?

I feel like “closeness” really depends on how people choose to define it. All the members have very different dynamics with each other. We know that V and Jk are like the partners in crime besties. Jinkook are your typical chaotic sibling dynamic. Namkook are like big brother who little bro adores and looks up to dynamic. Jimin and Jungkook in my opinion could fit into any of these dynamics. They sometimes give me lovers, siblings, besties dynamics etc, just depends on the day. Now with all these different dynamics, it is only normal that they wouldn’t do the same things with each other. Tae and Jk have always had fun goofing around together doing different things and getting into trouble together since their debut day. But when Jk was asked who comforted him best, he without a second thought picked Jimin. Jk would chose to share rooms with Tae so they could play games all night but every time he was asked deeper questions and made to choose one member, it was always Jimin. What is my point? Jk hanging out with A from 1st to 31st doesn’t necessarily mean he is closer to A than he is to be whom he didn’t hang out with as much. Going out and doing fun activities with a friend doesn’t mean that is the friend who knows you best or whom u are closest to.

Also, we forget that “hangouts” don’t mean the same for everyone and there are different ways people enjoying hanging out. Maybe taekook enjoy hanging out more when they are with other people and when they are doing fun activities but maybe Jikook enjoy “hanging out” by just eating chicken at home, watching movies, drinking (and carrying eo bridal style and biting erogenous parts of eo bodies). If this is how they choose to hang out the most, how exactly would we know? The fact that you don’t see jikook or Jinkook or namkook doing the same kind of hang out activities that taekook do doesn’t mean they don’t spend time together in their own way. My best friend doesn’t like going out at all but i do. I have a group of friends who love going out like me and we hang out together all the time but u rarely see me out with my best friend because she just doesn’t like to go out. It just isn’t her thing. Now, many people will swear that i am not that close to my best friend just cuz they never see me hang out with her but that is not true at all. I am not half as close to the people I hang out constantly with as i am with my best friend. When we go out, we party, have fun and run around but the person i have a deep emotional connection with is that person i call first when i need someone to talk to. That person who knows me better than anyone else. That person i sit down with and have deep conversations with. You see what i am saying?

I feel bad about the fact that people judge how close these guys are by who they see hanging out with eo the most. Not saying this method is always wrong, but it isn’t always accurate either cuz there is alot we don’t see and don’t know. Do you remember how many people thought Jimin and Jungkook had drifted apart in 2021? Many people felt like jikook drifted apart and taekook got closer cuz Jk was everywhere with Tae and rarely with Jimin but what did we later find out? We found out that Jk visited Jimin’s hotel room multiple times a day, they worked out together, ate together, went back home from concerts together etc. We didn’t see them do any of these but they happened. Just because we didn’t see it and we didn’t know it, we all assumed taekook were closer and Jikook had drifted apart not knowing that the person Jk was going to spend all of his downtime with was Jimin. The same thing happened this year, with everyone swearing that jikook had drifted apart and were not close to each other anymore because we never saw them hangout, only for us to find out that while we were thinking they were barely in each other’s lives, those two were making plans to enlist together and not be apart from each other for 18 months. I just think that we always need to realize that there is alot we don’t see and don’t know. Also, the members level of social activity with each other could depend on so many things. Sometimes people hang out alot not necessarily because they can’t do without each other but because it is convenient and time allows it. Others don’t, not because they are not close or don’t feel the need to, but because they can’t. Tae and Jk hung out alot this year. Most we have seen them hang out in all their years of being together as a group but i think most of those hangouts happened because it was convenient. Jk and Tae were the only two not working on anything or not really busy at some point, and their schedules aligned so it made sense that they hung out as they are good friends. But we could all see that the frequent hangouts stopped the moment it wasn’t convenient anymore. They got busy and even though we constantly saw Jk hanging out with his 97 friends, we never saw him and Tae hangout again like we saw them before. So think about it, would all those hangouts have happened if the circumstances were different? Probably not. I think Jk and Tae definitely worked on their friendship and became way closer after their ITS talk and this solo era helped them bond more as thankfully their schedules aligned and they could do things with eo and have fun with eo, but that doesn’t mean Jk is closer to Tae than he is to Jimin or Hobi just because he hung out with Tae more (that we know of)

Also, Jimin didn’t really hangout like that with anybody. Before Hobi left, we know that they met and had a drink, before suga left, we know that they went to restaurants and had Sushi, and we know that Jimin and Suga saw eo a few times and Suga mentioned that he had a drink with Jimin after his concerts but we didn’t see them and we probably wouldn’t have known if Suga didn’t say it. So how would we know if Jimin and Jk spend time with each other in private but just don’t say anything about it? We didn’t see them drinking and biting eo necks did we? They told us the next day lol. We would have never known that Vmin were going to hang out with Jk if Tae didn’t start that Live. So how many times do u think the members must have hung out or spent time with each other that we just didn’t know of?

Gosh, i’ve written so much but i just measuring how close the members are to eo by how much they are seen hanging out is kinda lame. There is just alot we don’t know and don’t see and that they don’t tell us. We may come to get better perspective of so many things that happened in chapter two, in the future and we might all be surprised to find out that things weren’t as we thought.

I agree with you though! I think I explicitly said that "closeness" in my ranking was hanging out, but that's not because closeness to me is spending the most time with each other. I said it precisely because it's so hard to measure or compare the members' relationships based exclusively on what we know, so I could only objectively compare how much time they seem to spend together. But that in itself is not a sufficient indicator of anything.

I agree with everything you said about Jikook vs Taekook, although I don't remember Taekook hanging out that much in 2021? I also don't see Jikook as siblings at all. That is never the vibe they give me haha.

But, yeah, every relationship is different and we only know what BTS tell us (or what gets leaked), so who apparently hangs out the most with whom doesn't say much in itself - there are other factors to consider. For example, Suga mentioned RM in almost every Suchwita episode and even chose RM to interview him, and we know they saw each other at the company, but they rarely talk about spending time together. However, it's obvious their friendship means a lot to both of them as they've known each other the longest and both love music so much.

you know how there's this thing about the glass bathroom wall in the hotel room jikook supposedly shared in the gcf tokyo trip? how credible is that? how would we even know that

By analyzing the fuck outta both their vlogs about their trip, ARMY pieced together the clues and found the hotel they stayed at. Kinda weird. Kinda invasive. Kinda also totally normal for this fandom and not just shippers. Lowkey Kinda hate it but it's whatever. At least it wasn't while they were STILL THERE.

People found it by matching the elevator buttons with floor numbers/names, and the surrounding buildings where Jimin leaves from their supposed hotel from GCFT. And from matching the wall patterns, TV and curtains used in their standard rooms from Jimins vlog he posted where you saw a bit of their room when they dressed up for Halloween. So they figured out the hotel they were at as well as which room they probably had based on standard decor that shows up in every hotel room. From what ive heard at least. Which led to the hotels website photos being posted as the type of room jikook stayed at. Which would be this room:

You can see in the second photo too of the giant bathroom window into the bedroom (lmao) that there IS blinds/curtains that can be pulled down over that window when someone is inside there. Look in the mirror inside the bathroom at the reflection of the top of the window to see said blinds. So you know, it wasn't TOTALLY zero privacy allowed type of room. 😂

Hey there, I’m interested to know as a 1 year old army what you see in jikook to believe they’re a couple? For me I k ew of them from 2017 but it was watching GFCT and the way Jimin looked at JK not the camera that I saw love. The UN Speech solidified their values for me. The Mystery of 1108

When I first became a Jikooker, I started to watch and read different theories on Jikook channels and blogs, and the 1108 theory was one of those theories that all Jikookers collectively agreed on. Based on this theory, the 8th day of November is a special anniversary for Jikook because they started dating on that day. We know Jikook care so much about special days and anniversaries, because they have posted several times on Valentine's days, and Korean romantic dates, and they never miss spending a birthday together. So, after learning this theory, I started to expect them to do something on this special day, but it never happened. In 2018, the Jimin t-shirt thing happened, and no one expected him or the other members to do anything anytime soon. One year later, JK had a car accident at the beginning of November, and again, appearing on social media or going out was too much to ask for. Then in 2020 and the years after that, when Jikook didn't post or do anything special, I started to question this theory. Of course, this theory was fully based on facts. JK had released GCF in Tokyo on this very day after all, but could all this be just a coincidence? I mean, he might have finished the editing that day, or maybe he was just matching the numbers with the hotel room as a special message for Jimin? It's not impossible. What was the truth?

To see things more clearly, let's review all the facts; Where the 1108 theory comes from? The truth is, the 1108 theory never existed until JK posted the GCF in Tokyo on the Bangtan TV channel on November 8th, 2017. This was definitely a turning point in the history of Jikookers, and they started to dig into the numbers and dates to find some links and connections that could help them to know more about Jikook:

The first ever jikook video on Twitter was posted on November 8th, 2015, right after the Melon awards.

100 days later, on February 15th, JK posted the cover of "Nothing like us" by Justin Bieber.

On November 8th, 2016, BTS was leaving for Japan, and Jimin posted a Jikook video on the plane. 

1000 days later, JK posted a selca at Malta at 10:13 local time, which is Jimin hour. 

If you ask me, there is a high possibility for these four incidents to be just coincidences, and Jikook might never mean to share any secrets by posting them. Don't get me wrong, I'm only looking at this theory in a different way and not denying it because first, several other theories indicate Jikook started dating around the same era (late 2015), and second, the evidence is not limited to those four incidents I mentioned.

Let's look at the second part of evidence; Jimin approved the 1108 theory by using the number 2315 at the Soul concert ment when exactly 2315 days had passed from 151108, or by posting a selca with glasses at 1:50 AM when 1500 days had passed. And JK also made it clear several times that 1108 has a special meaning for him by using 1:18 as the timestamp or posting at 23:08. If you look at the second part of the evidence, you will see that they are more recent and started at the end of 2018. But why? We will come back to this later. 

Let me ask another question first: Do Jikook celebrate the anniversary of GCF in Tokyo?

Imagine you got married, and your partner is making a video of your wedding/honeymoon footage to publish on social media. Will you celebrate the actual trip/ceremony anniversary or the anniversary of the day you posted the video? The answer is clear. I know Jikook are not common people, and this comparison might not be 100% accurate, but at least it gives us a pretty good insight into how Jikook might see these dates and anniversaries. Jikook celebrate their Tokyo trip anniversary, and they have been loud about it several times, here are some examples: 

1. They were super loud at Soul SYS concerts on October 29th. 

2. Exactly 1000 days after 171031, JK covered "10000 hours" by Justin Bieber. 

3. On the 4th anniversary of their trip, JK covered "Falling" by Harry Styles. 

Let's make the post short and have the conclusion already. In my opinion, 1108 is not an anniversary for Jikook, it is a code.

We know JK loves to use codes to convey his hidden messages, and he tried it with 123 or 13 before, but other shippers and OT7s sabotaged the message (you know how). So he chose something with more clear meaning for his target audience. This code (whether it refers to a special date or not) is directly connected to Jikook, and they both have been using it since 2019.

The thing about Jikook enlisting together which made me all mushy inside isn’t just the fact that they enlisted together. It is the fact that those two somehow always find themselves at each other’s side in those moments which to me matter the most. Let me explain.

So before we got the bts book, we all assumed that Jk took Jimin to Japan as a birthday gift but we later on got to find out that the reason they took that trip was because both of them were struggling mentally and then decided to get away together, just the two of them.

Now, we also have more context about the rainy day story thanks to Jungkook and we know that, even though all the members were not very happy with Jk’s attitude, the only person who pulled him aside to talk to him was Jimin and even though the talk didn’t go without hurdles, Jimin threatening to stop taking care of Jk hit him so hard he had to run apologizing with tears in his eyes.

Then i remember years ago all those times Jk took ill, or had accidents, Jimin was the one member who didn’t leave his side. Jimin was always there for him even when Jk was getting his stiches taken off.

Then i remember them mentioning for years that they are all nighter friends and Jk saying he spends most of his nights with Jimin, and then hearing that while they were in LA, Jk spent so much time in Jimin’s room during his down time that even Tae thought Jk’s room was Jimin’s.

Or all those moments we have from memories, dvds, bangtan bombs, behind the scenes of jikook staying back to practice together, staying back only the two of them to see watch each other practice, visiting each other to cheer each other up etc

Also thinking of how jikook are the only two members who have consistently spent important days like birthdays, holidays and even some couple holidays with each other. I’m not sure about 2023 but as far as i know Jimin hasn’t missed any of Jk’s birthdays.

Then also, even in chapter two when we didn’t see Jikook as much as we saw taekook hangout, it was still so obvious how precious those two are to each other. The support Jk publicly showed Jimin, he didn’t show anyone else. The way he would always instinctively ask Jimin to come over everytime Jimin commented on his Lives or that one time he couldn’t sleep and decided to watch a few of Jimin’s videos plus this is something he didn’t do for anyone else.

So when i we heard about them enlisting together, it didn’t really shock me because i know that those two genuinely love spending time together even if they are doing nothing. I mean you really need to love being in someone’s company to visit their hotel room 3 times a day, go in around 1am, stay there for about 4 hours, leave and repeat the cycle, plus they literally worked out together everyday, ate together, got back from concerts together, stayed back to rehearse together and they were still mostly together even when all the members were together. With all the time they spent together, how much time did they spend with other members?

Jk himself always picked Jimin as the member who comforted him the most, the one who knew him best, the one whom he connected to the most, plus it always seemed to me like Jimin was always the first person Jk went to when he wasn’t ok. I stumbled upon an interview they did in 2018 and when i tell you jikook basically did everything together, i mean it. The way they spoke about each other and the things they did together was incredibly sweet and Jk despite having his own room choosing to go sleep in the room jimin shared with Jhope was so…..

My point is, looking at jikook’s history, it is very obvious to me that those two have always had the deepest emotional connection in the group and I don’t mean this in the romantic sense. I just feel like to Jungkook, Jimin is someone he just cannot live without and versa. They are important to each other and if taekookers and other people were a little more mature, they could see it.

So when you put all these things together, it kinda tracks that jikook enlisted together. I know that Jk definitely misses all his hyungs but i think it would have been hardest for him to be away from jimin, not because they are a couple but those two are kinda codependent.

For the anon asking the difference between jikook and taekook...first of all, what exactly are you expecting? Concrete evidence? Because there is none. Ultimately, it's all speculation and personal opinion. It's up to you to make your own mind up.

Now, my opinion on the difference. Jikook? Some cute shipping moments. They are obviously close and comfortable with each other and have affectionate moments. Jimin flirts with anyone and everyone so him being flirty is not proof of anything in my opinion. Their interactions are surface level for me, what you see is what you get. Nothing suspicious going on behind the scenes between these two.

Taekook? Secret getaways together. Evidence of them hiding in each others lives. Matching rings. Sharing clothes. Looking at each other with blatent sexual tension/love. ANY vlive with these two in! The suspicious vlive moments between these two are countless. Knowing info about each other that other members don't. The videos that show them being actively separated. Other members reactions to moments between them are a biiig giveaway. The amount of times Tae has been caught on camera staring at Jk as he dances like he's extremely turned on. The amount of times Jk has been caught on camera staring at Tae like he hung the moon. The sign language they used to use with each other. Tae sharing his set of 5 rings with Jk. Staying in a hotel alone together on their alleged anniversary. Jk posting songs at 12:30 and time stamped at 1:23 - dates which match up with Tae's birthday. Tae pausing the Lauv song at 1:23 when he and Jk where singing it together in a live. The text Yoongi sent to both of them. The way Jimin always watches them like he knows their secret - he's the biggest taekook supporter. Jimin making kissy noises and faces at the screen when Tae told Jk he wanted some "Private conversation" in a vlive. Jk staring at Tae's bare thighs in a vlive. Tae acting like he and Jungkook where not sharing a room in a vlive but then admits they are..and then pretends to leave. The fact that Jk has a relationship with wooga squad and spends time with them with Tae. The fact that Tae always leaves little hints about their relationship in his lives. I can literally see the attraction in their eyes when they look at each other sometimes. The amount of times they've been caught admiring each other on the big screen at concerts. Unless they come out and say it themselves we can't say for sure, but I've never seen two people more in love. I've also never seen so many "coincidences" involving two people.

Jikook interact, they are acting, Jikook don’t interact, they hate each other. I remember last year when all other members interacted with each other on instagram except Jikook. What did y’all say then? Y’all said Jikook not interacting online was proof that they are not close. Now we have alot of Jikook weverse interactions and little to no Taekook weverse interactions. What do y’all say now? “ Jikook only interact on weverse and not irl.” “Taekook don’t have to interact on weverse cuz they interact irl” i guess when Tk interacted so much on Instagram last year it was cuz they didn’t interact irl huh? When Jk didn’t post for Jimin on his bday in 2020 and 2021 but posted for Tae, what did y’all say? Y’all said he was embarrassed to be associated with Jimin and that’s why he didn’t post for him. In 2022 Jk posts a video for Jimin but posts nothing for Tae. What do y’all say? Y’all say he is doing FS and didn’t need to post for Tae cuz he and Tae were together😂😂😂😂. When Jikook interacted on stage alot during concerts and Taekook not as much y’all called it FS, and said TK were a “Private couple” When they stopped interacting as much but Taekook still did, y’all said Jk only interacts with Tae cuz that’s who he loves😂😂😂😂. All through the years, we constantly saw Jikook hanging out in and outside of work. Sometimes with Jimin’s friends but we barely heard or saw Taekook. What did y’all say then? It was FS with Jikook but we couldn’t see TK cuz they were “private”. Now we see alotta Tk and no Jikook. +
