I have a like 13 Going on 30 esque fic in my head where Evan and Jared are in a huge fight and then Evan suddenly finds himself a few years into a future where he and Jared are happily dating and he’s trying to decide if he even wants to go back to his own time (also 13 Going on 30 rules that like he is also in his older body and such) but there’s just too much to work out and so many holes that I feel like I will never get to it lmao

ok I absolutely failed to liveblog the convention bc I was living in the moment, but now that it's over it's time for me to make my emotional post ❤️

this was actually my FIRST ever convention and I'm so glad I got to spend it with @jellybracelet and @trials-era-sam who made awesome roommates and company for the entire trip <3

I got to do the j2 photo op I wanted, to see jared for the first time irl (holy shit he's real), to show off my spn tattoo, and to spend wonderful time with old friends and new ones. I also got an actual jelly bracelet from @jellybracelet (I know) and adorable drawings by @tongjingnian who was so incredibly nice in person <333

I love you all, still can't believe that after 7 years of dreaming to go to a convention I finally got the chance to. It's surreal ❤️

Gonna get chick-flick-momenty for a minute if you don’t mind!!!!!

In 2018 I told myself, “it’s already season 13, the show is bound to end sooner or later and I’ve already been watching this show and been obsessed with it for almost 10 years, I HAVE to meet Jared this year.” I got incredibly lucky that this was the one and only year Creation decided to host a con in Birmingham, UK, a city I’d already been to and felt comfortable going to on my own (unlike Rome haha) and that very first con was AMAZING. Had a great photo op with Jared - but most of all, got to meet my amazing friend @malnourishedsamdean who became my convention buddy. We’ve now gone to three more cons together, only one of which Jared did not cancel - whether he was there or not though, he may be our fave but we had tons of fun and made up for it by meeting more of the cast!!!! - and it would have been four had I not made stupid financial decisions, but oh well. I’ll always treasure these memories with C and hope to make more, and we also met some amazing people there!!!!

Then last year I went to my first JIBcon, finally confident enough to do it having been to Rome in the meantime, but mostly confident because I was going with the wonderful @schielegon and had SUCH a fun time ♥️♥️♥️ the events were incredibly fun (especially a meet and greet where Jared gave me the very last question 🥰) BUT the highlight was definitely meeting this gal I just tagged as well as @ghost-go-roasty-mctoasty , @arwenadreamer , @takikojou and other lovely people <333

There was also that one con that C and I booked on my 28th birthday and only got to go when I was 31, but I don’t think I need to explain why, no one needs the reminder lol. It was SO worth the wait - especially because our beloved @jellybracelet got to come with us <3333

JIB was so amazing I nagged her and @seanwinchester to come this year, and we just had the most wonderful, wonderful weekend because these guys are the most fun, and met more lovely people 🥰🥰 can’t even put it into words because of the sleep deprivation but I’m still floating on that high!!!!

And now that I’ve told my life story as if I was a fan asking Jared and/or Jensen a question,

TL;DR - I feel so, so incredibly lucky and happy. I really hope this doesn’t come across as braggy and I’m sorry if it does - I genuinely, genuinely want everyone to experience stuff like this. It’s the absolute best. I don’t think another show would have provided me with the happiness, the memories and the FRIENDS this show has. I’m so grateful to all of you and also to the cast who will never read this ♥️♥️♥️♥️ they say never to meet your heroes but my interactions with Jared have been so great, he really is as kind and funny and sunshiny as he seems (yes I know I am parasocializing hard idc) and, as I don’t think I’m stopping cons now because they’re so addicting (HOW HAVE I ALREADY BEEN TO SIX. IT WAS SUPPOSED TO BE ONE), I’m so excited to meet more of you in the future <33333 I love you all so so so so much this is the best community ever!!!!!!!!!

Ooouuuuugggg! If there’s one thing about me I’m gonna write a Kleinsen Parallel Scene. Simply love to see how they are the same but in their own ways. They are parallels and mirror images and complete opposite of each other all at once!

Tim wasn't a jealous person. Or he wasn't the possessive, checking in every hour, wondering who you could be hanging out with and if him making an appearance would make him look like an idiot or not. He wasn't that type of jealous person.

He's starting to think that you might make him that person.

It's not anything you're doing really. How could it? You know him inside and out and he knows you. Therefore he knows that you wouldn't be flirting with someone when he's five feet away. You're not flirting with someone.

Someone is flirting with you. Which makes sense, you are a literal catch. Tim isn't sure how he manages to be the one to say goodnight and good morning to you every day. Or how he manages to be on the receiving end of quick snapshots from your busy city life because you saw something and thought of him.

He doesn't know how he landed you. But he knows he's yours completely. And he doesn't like the feeling of this green monster sitting on his shoulders and telling him any different.

You on the other hand, you know this guy is flirting with you. Since you got to the party this guy has been eyeing you for a while. He finally got the courage to come up to you after fifteen minutes. And you haven't entertained it one bit. Every opportunity you've gotten to mention Tim as your loving, caring and smart boyfriend you have taken. He just didn't seem to get it though, like he needed to see him in the flesh to believe it.

"Yeah actually my boyfriend is really good with tech stuff maybe you can talk to him." you say.

Then you point over to him. Tim perks up at the action and makes his way over to you and the guy quickly. Tim knows you can handle turning someone down do seeing you point him out meant something wasn't connecting for the guy.

"Hey, what's going on?" Tim asks.

You put your arm around his shoulder and pull him close to you. Tim leans into you as well.

"This is Jared, and he was talking about his new start up thingy." you explain.

Jared seems perplexed to put it lightly. You're not sure why. You told him multiple times that your boyfriend came with you to this party. It astonishes you how that must've went in one ear and out the other.

Tim holds out his free hand, "Nice to meet you."

Jared takes Tim's hand into his. The two shake but you know Jared is still wondering where Tim came from and if he's really real.

"You didn't have to ring in some random guy to get me off your back you know that?" Jared asks, but mores says.

You don't believe it. You believe it but you don't actually believe he said it out loud with the gusto of Alexander the Great! You scoff.

Tim can feel the heat creeping up his neck. He feels-well he feels like he doesn't matter in this situation. A different type of jealous it would seem. Still green, but a little blue too.

Tim doesn't have time to adjust as you enter his line of vision. Up close he can see how thick your eyelashes are and how your lip turns up, like you're about to do something wicked.

"Timmy I think we could give him a show. But only if you want." you say.

Tim's eyes go wide. A boyish grin forms on his lips too. He can feel your breath hitting him from this close. And he wants to get even closer if that's possible. Which it is, he knows just how you can get.

When Tim nods his head at your question, you smile even wider. You wrap your arms around his neck and dive straight in. And he knows you called it a show but with the way you're standing in front of Tim, you're completely locking the guy from seeing anything.

That's what does it. That's what gets Tim to flutter his eyes over to the guy who's still behind you. He deepens the kiss and it's nothing appropriate for a party.

Tim's hands land on your hips and pull you into him. He watches as the guy makes a face and leaves the two of you alone. Finally. Tim shuts his eyes then and lets himself enjoy the impromptu makeup session. Lets himself enjoy you.

And enjoy you he does.

So, the button says to ask you anything. I'm going to take that to heart and shoot my shot. My absolute favorite fic of all time is hands down, But Then, My Homework Was Never Quite Like This. In fact, the entire ten fic Homework Verse is something that I have read in its entirety many times over. And as I was late to the fandom, this was the very first J2 fic I ever read. They captured my imagination as they were not perfect people, living perfect lives. They were flawed, and Jensen was broken, and they were willing to make the hard choices, even if it hurt them, and to then do the work to make their relationship last. The way you wove through ten years of their lives, the ups, the downs, and all the incredible everything in-between. Plus, how can you go wrong with George Michael providing the soundtrack to your life? That being said, the actual question. At Jib14, I was absolutely blown away by the below picture.

My first thought was that this is what that Jensen would look like now. As he was giving a lecture to the assembled masses on some new theory he had developed with Jared's assistance. Now, I know that your Jensen did not have a beard, even a neatly trimmed one, but then again, times can change (maybe he lost a bet with the love of his life - who knows). As the 20th anniversary is fast approaching, have you ever considered dropping in on the boys once more? Just a quick peek to see what they've gotten up to since the last time we were able to see them. If you were generous enough to gift us with a long glance, I think that legions of devoted fans would drop to their knees and devote an entire religion to you. I know that sometimes it's best to leave well enough alone. But sometimes, an object in motion tends to stay in motion, and this amazing story has been burning up the fandom for a very long time. Even if it's just an extensive list of all of the amazing sights that they encountered as they traveled around the world, going to one conference after another. Please, take the time to consider, and then do what makes you happy. Thanks!

Hello love! I, too, thought of an older Homework Jensen when I saw that photo! It means so much to me that you love them, and the story, so much. I love those boys. They're very dear and special to me. I get nostalgic and emotional just thinking about them.

I have, in fact, thought about revisiting them. At one point I had a whole story planned, where Chris is throwing them a ten year anniversary party at his club, and Jensen... well, has a public, non-sexual surprise for Jared. Plus bathroom sex, Chad and Misha shenanigans, glimpses at their family members and more.

Sadly, I lost all my notes and the outline for that story when my computer died many years ago. I still remember most of it, though, and have thought, on occasion, about trying to write it. I also had a Christmas story in mind for all four of them sharing a Christmas together.

Honestly I would love to write in that verse again, but sometimes I just feel the story is told. Anything else I write at this point would be purely JUST to revisit them. I also wonder if I could get back to that head space I was in 15+ years ago. Isn't it funny to wonder if you could still write your own characters?

So I'm undecided. I would love to, but it would be purely self-indulgent. I'm kind of worried I couldn't find the right voices again, but also curious to see if they're still living in my head.

I will think about, for sure. Maybe I WILL write something for them next year. I'm going to seriously consider it.
