Jamie thinks of late afternoons in his and his mother’s flat, dancing to the old records from the charity shop down the road. Jean Knight and Diana Ross and The Pointer Sisters crooning from the staticky player on the shelf, the curtains open, sticky summer air coming in through the window as he twirled his mum across their shoebox of a living room.

He always felt so light, then. Free. Loved. Laughing and joking with her, watching her smile bloom huge and beautiful across her face, her worries wiped away for the three minutes it took him to move her through the steps of the dances she’d patiently taught him.

“They get it, Jamie,” she’d told him when he’d asked why she loved the classics so much, pointing at the record player. “They understand love. That feeling, that need - the things you’ll do for it. The things it’s worth. They get it, angel. You understand?” 

“No,” he’d said honestly, and she’d laughed, shook her head.

“You will someday, my baby,” she’d said, and she’d pressed a kiss to his forehead and slipped away to flip the record.

Now, though, he understands. Stretched out on his stomach in Roy’s ridiculous bed, propping his head up on a hand, watching the old man get changed into pajamas so they can go to sleep at a decent hour - he gets it.

He must be smiling like an idiot because Roy’s thick brows furrow when he looks over at him.

“What?” he asks, and Jamie just shakes his head, rolls onto his back, and holds his hand out for Roy.

“I love you,” he says simply, and Roy’s face softens.

“I love you,” he replies, and he slips into bed, fingers interlacing with Jamie’s as he comes over him and kisses him, slow and sweet.

I also watched Superbob in little 10 min sessions cause I couldn't handle it, too much baby brett at the same time! He looks so cute and sounds so sweet 💕😍 and the hero suit is 💕💕 and then the way is all kind and gentle and embarrassed and 💕💕💕💕 also skipped a bit cause it's a bit slow paced for my taste, wish they had a better budget so we'd see more of his superhero side!

Another future prediction is that I imagine is Blaine adopting a child who went through the same abuse as him or at least had an abusive parent. Just so he can give them a better life.

Scenario:

Prince Blaine is having a casual walk through his kingdom…when all of a sudden a little girl around 6 to 7 years old runs into him! As he apologizes and goes to help her up notices very quickly that the poor thing is covered in bruises. Of course he gets suspicious but before he can say anything a very large man with bloody knuckles came running around the corner screaming like a banshee at the little girl before grabbing her arm and pulling her away. Completely ignoring Blaine, that is until he grabs the man’s arm and demands he let go of the little girl. They have a stare off for a good long minute before the man reluctantly let’s go and the little girl runs to hide behind Blaine. He asks her if she knows the man. She says that he’s her daddy but that he’s really mean and hurts her and that she doesn’t want to him as her daddy anymore. The father screams, yanks his arm from Blaine’s grip before shoving him away and making a move to strike the little girl! Blaine beats him to it! Giving the asshole father a good sucker punch to the face before taking the little girl into his arms.

“People like you should never be allowed to have children. Nor does any child deserve a parent like you. People like you make me sick.”

Blaine then called for one of his guards to arrest the father. As Blaine brought the little girl home with him.

“It’s ok you’re safe now, no one’s going to hurt you ever again.”

Long story short Blaine adopts her and she is spoiled like crazy by everyone!🥰
