is it weird i'm such a bi! roy gay! jamie truther? like its such a trope for the slutty guy to be bi and the grumpy guy to be gay and while i'm really into the both of them being bi, part of me really headcanons roy as bi and jamie as gay.

Not weird at all!! I'm never going to shoot down any lgbt headcanons (as long as they don't contradict canon queer identities) so absolutely feel free to lay your thinking on me :) I can definitely be convinced!!!

I personally felt like it was intentionally implied that Jamie is into both men and women (by the Roy and Keeley posters, his very VERY active sex life with Keeley, his comment about Beard not being his type because he's "too scratchy," neither confirming nor denying that he's gay when he was asked, Brendan Hunt saying Jamie might be bi, etc), but I can also see his over-the-top sexual relationship with Keeley being performative/overcompensating due to shame and trauma, and that's interesting to explore too

I'm less solid on Roy, because I don't think they really meant to code him as queer let alone as a specific flavor of queer, so I tend to think of him as gay just because I think it's interesting to write. I can see Roy as bi too fs and my hc kind of fluctuates depending on what I'm thinking/writing

I don't normally like mpreg but I would read it if he was a trans man. We need more trans Jamie fic!

I'm 1000000% on the same page!!! Cis male pregnancy fic (including omegapreg) squicks me out MAJORLY, but as someone who is trans myself and has always wanted to have a family, I love all flavor of trans hcs and have such a soft spot for trans people being domestic and happy :) I feel like we don't see a lot of those stories yk? So I like to write them myself sometimes

Real! The show puts so much effort into crafting complex characters with flaws who do bad things and then learn from their pasts, and it frustrates me when people go the route of defending a character like that (insisting nothing is their fault) rather than appreciating them for what they are and the role their development plays in the story
