i can't leave everybody hanging who wants to know how this part ends so i was already in the process of a next part while slow rewriting a actual start to this story cause i have ideas for this story but after researching i see there are a lot of things not correct int he timeline i need to fix them but in order for me to do that i have to re-write it before i do that here is a ending part this story is far from over i plan to have it go pass the war and have them rebuild the world together Bakuyama power!
<# <# <# <# <# <# <# <# <# <# <# <# <# <# <# <# <# <#
Every single day it gets harder and harder to see not only Bakugo but the whole class. How do you sit in a classroom full of people you supposedly are supposed to be “friends” with and be the scummiest scum of the earth at the same time? This isn’t a real question, but the answer is all you have to do is be Aoyama Yuga.
He has the gall to come to school everyday and pretend to be someone he knows he’s not
He has the nerve to show his face, to interact with everyone as if they are equals.
But most importantly he has the audacity to sit next to all these kids everyday even though he’s a scum of the earth, a wolf in sheep's clothing if you will. He’s a pretentious prick who lies to everyone and he hates it!
Every single day he tries to keep his head up and act like the actor he was born to be. it gets harder and harder to do. Especially since new developments in his life.
How is he supposed to feel when he’s lying beside Bakugo knowing full well he’s the one who got him captured by the villains? That kind of thing doesn’t just go away, he recalls vividly being so relieved when All Might won against all for one that was the one of, if not thee worst-best day of his life second to receiving a quirk.
Still, enjoying what’s left of his life here isn’t something he’s able to fully do because of a valid fear of a man who he knows owns full control over his life even from tartarus.
All for one isn’t going to stay locked up, he knows he will get out and when he gets out Aoyama is going to be exposed for who he really is and THAT is what scares him most. He can’t even cry about it because it’s his own fault he honestly never should have existed at this point.
Hot tears fall down his cheeks, he can feel his nose is running a little bit too. Aoyama doesn’t want to cry, he doesn't deserve to.
He pressures himself into stopping himself from sniffling. “You do this because you want to what part of you thinks you even remotely deserve to cry a single tear?” He tells himself hushing up those sobs. He slowly maneuvers his arm from around Bakugo to wipe his face. Bakugo stirs and groans a bit in his sleep making noises but doesn't wake and that’s another thing. He could easily imagine the rejection on his face once he’d found out of his betrayal.
How Bakugo might react.
How Bakugo would want nothing to do with him anymore.
How he’d set him ablaze in seconds.
He tangled himself these sheets without a knife to cut himself out and now he’d have to sleep in this bed he made. That is truly what he gets for being a lying piece of shit bastard as Bakugo would put it.
A coward.
Aoyama’s lashes touch his cheeks and he tries to sleep off his problems. It’s always a temporary fix until the next night he wakes up destined to repeat his feelings over again.
Bakugo wakes up first or at least he thinks he does. He's flat on his back while Aoyama is facing him one arm across Bakugo’s chest the other behind his head in a loose hug. Bakugo shifts so he’s on his side embracing Aoyama.
A finger touches wet cheeks, Bakugo deduces quickly he cried himself to sleep and for that he has to say why the fuck? His face is puzzled as he glances at Aoyama’s face. His eyes are closed, obviously sleeping. Did he cry in his sleep? Was he having a nightmare right now?
Whoa, um is he supposed to wake him up? No you're not supposed to wake people up when they have a nightmare.. No that’s sleepwalking god dammit he doesn’t know what to do. He opts for trying to wake him cause he doesn’t want him to continue to be in a bad dream.
“Mon cheri what is wrong?” Aoyama speaks between sleep and awakening gently being shaken by possibly the least gentle person on the entire planet. Bakugo responds promptly and a little too loudly.
“You’re crying?”
“Huh?” Aoyama lifts a hand to feel his cheeks. Damn he thought he’d stopped. “Oh, guess I was.” He plays coy and Bakugo knows it.
“I guess I was my ass,” Bakugo blurts out sitting up. “What are you crying about? And don’t give me that I don't know crap it gets old.” Lying gets old too.
Aoyama has to play a card, he has many he just doesn’t know which he should or which one works on Bakugo. This one might do, he plays “pretend you really don’t know” on the table.
“Um, I don't know darling, I have a lot of nightmares but I guess I stopped dreaming at some point so I'm afraid I really don’t know.”
Bakugo looks down at him, can’t be happy about this but he damn sure looks good under him like this. NO this is no time to be thinking about that. Bakugo sneers laying back down and Aoyama is glad he doesn’t prod anymore.
“Whatever, don’t tell me the truth, it's not like I don't tell you the truth all the time either.”
Good relationships are based on honesty and trust. Something neither of them are doing right now. They should probably start doing that if this is going to last because Bakugo isn’t going to stand for that if they decide to take this further than just words and sleeping next to each other.
What if they really fucking mean it? Like more than just mashing lips together, moaning eachothers names? What if they both really want to be together after UA? What if they i don’t know fucking get married or some shit?? What the actual fuck is Bakugo trying to justify here again? Oh yeah talking about their problems and being real and shit.
Bakugo’s ruby eyes roll towards Aoyama to see if he’s still awake. He is. “Maybe…” He pauses to actually look at him. “Maybe we should actually do that.”
The face Aoyama makes when he voices this concern is one he doesn’t understand. Does he not want to be honest? Does he not want to be with him the way he wants to be with him?
“What?” Aoyama asks, looking at Bakugo with quite the expression on his face.
He wants to say nevermind but that’s going back on his word and Katsuki Bakugo doesn’t go back on his word. “Do..” He has to think about this for a second what kind of meaning he wants his words to have. “Remember when we talked about strong words?”
“Yes, I asked you what we were and you said humans.” This is a fucking joke and he wishes he would shut up.
“SHUT THE HELL UP YOU AREN'T FUNNY” Bakugo restrains himself from punching him (He was never going to hit him but the idea of his fist connecting with his face did make him feel a little better than talking.)
“You wanted to know what our fucking status was and i said i didn’t know. I said I wanted to be what we were when we first started talking, because it was easy.”
"Oui, I remember. Lovers of the past life." Aoyama nods trying to understand further.
"We agreed that that's a strong word and stronger words exist."
Aoyama is recalling this conversation more not that he forgot but it’s been a short while. With everything going on in his life he can’t be expected to remember stuff like this except he should be expected because this is important.
“You asked me if I wanted to be strong words together.. and” Bakugo places his hand over Aoyama’s feeling raw with emotion. Again ready for him to reject him and he doesn’t like before.“I said.. I said I wasn't able to because I was unstabled remember?”
“O-oui.”
“I’m answering your question better. You asked me if I felt strong words and didn’t let go when I thought you would. I still feel strong words about you. I still don’t know if i'm ready, and i damn well know i wont know everything i wanna know before the end of this.”
All attention is on eachother now, this conversation feels like it’s the most important conversation Bakugo will ever have in his life. Like it’s trying to get something across or achieve something he’s never before it isn’t like a battle or proving something. It isn’t about being better or winning. The name of the game is mutual understanding
And if “winning” is involved you win when you both understand each other's feelings enough to be together or some shit like that he guesses.
“What i'm saying is i don’t want you to wait cause i still don’t know how long i’ll not be ready or if i’ll ever be ready. You said you can wait a long time so that means time will run out eventually a long time isn’t forever so that means your time is precious and you don’t wanna waste it.” Bakugo analyzes old sentences, he never stops thinking about the way Aoyama talks and what his words really mean. Aoyama is so surprised Bakugo can say all these things like he’s prepared it in the mirror.
The funny part is he thought about what he was going to say when they had this conversation almost like looking in the mirror preparing a speech but not quite. He’s already ran a simulation in his head at almost everything Aoyama could say once he’s done spilling his feelings like a goddamn psychopath cutting open his victims except Bakugo is the both the victim and knife
Being rejected was definitely something that could very well happen in different ways. He could say something like “I’m not ready” or “I only want you as a fuckbuddy i don’t want what a real relationship holds” even “Being vague as shit about what we are works better for me and i don’t want any strings”
It’s difficult to put himself in the open knowing full well one of these could be the final say for them.
“I said we don’t have to commit to anything but I would like to. I still would like to.. I want to try. You’ve already given me a reason and I want to do this shit right not for me, not for you but for us and what we could be.”
“This is a fucking confession so listen up Twinkle toes.” The bed becomes lighter in the spot Bakugo occupied next to him; he now lums over Aoyama. Strong exposed arms on either side of him so he can’t look anywhere else except at him. “Being in a relationship and training to be a hero isn’t practical at all that shit’s complex as hell and to be honest like i keep fucking saying we should be i shouldn’t even care about dumb shit like this even after im grown. I should be caring about my training, catching the fuck up like Icyhot keeps saying. But I'm not. I’m not thinking about any of those things cause i’m too busy thinking about you.”
None of the things Bakugo is saying is a bad thing, it sounds like it should be but it isn’t. He is just being honest like Aoyama should be.
“You’re on my mind 24/7 i can’t not think about you and when i think about you i remember everytime we ever fucking interacted like if i don’t i’ll lose the memory of you and i wont be able to fucking remember for the life of me!” Bakugo drops his head, Aoyama continues to be speechless not even knowing where there’s room for him to speak.
Their foreheads meet and Bakugo’s nose touches Aoyama's, their lips are inches apart neither making an attempt to reciprocate what they know lips this close are meant to be doing because they are talking. WELL, Bakugo is talking Aoyama is listening. Bakugo’s heart beats out of his chest Aoyama can feel it in his hands he could squeeze it and be done with it so quickly it isn’t even funny how easy it would be to end this in blood drizzling down the both of them.
It’s easy.. It is, it’s very easy.
It’s so easy… it is the easiest thing in the world.
“Sparkles. Yuga.”
His eyes light up at the sound of his name. He didn’t even know Bakugo knew his name.
“If i’m ever wasting my time you’ll let me know right?”
This lodges something in Aoyama’s throat. Let him know he tells himself, don’t put him in a position where he’ll have to do something terrible. Aoyama thinks.
Tell him!
“Am I wasting my time?”
His voice is the sincerest he’s ever heard it be. He’s heard Bakugo’s voice take many turns but this had to be the most genuine.
“Talk to me.”
Aoyama tries to connect them but Bakugo refuses him.“Don’t kiss me, answer me.” He denies him because this is a more important question, these are vowels to Bakugo this is real.
Aoyama opens his mouth to speak his truth. “No time i spend with you is ever going to be wasted time Bakugo.” Tears form at the edges of his eyes, he's holding his waist, his arms are moving up his body until they are hooked in a way he can pull him into a hug when he’s done talking.
“My time with you is very precious to me. I speak no lies when I say I want to be the best me with you. Please don’t take me trying to interrupt you as dodging your question.” His thumb rubs into Bakugo’s skin lovingly. “A picture is worth a thousand words, no? I want to show you how I feel about you, please allow me to show you how I feel.. Katsuki.”
“Please.” He says it again when Bakugo doesn’t look like he’s accepting what he’s saying as truth.
“If you take my virginity and break your promise i’m going to end you i hope you know that.”
Aoyama smirks because who says something like that to a guy in your bed who’s also confessing to you. “Oui, and your mouth is still such a tool of destruction darling.” He isn’t smiling because this is funny. I mean it is funny but Aoyama feels like he can die happy knowing he took Bakugo’s purity away not because it was something he just wanted to do but because he loves Bakugo and he feels strongly about it.
He may not be in it for the long haul knowing full well his days are numbered running on borrowed time but he feels like he can at least enjoy the ride for as long as it lasts.
“Mon cheri, I will give you the best years of your life even if it is only a short time or a long time.” He hugs Bakugo to his chest so he can hear how loud his heart beats. “This conversation is like wedding vowels to you is it not? You don’t do anything unless it’s serious so I'm being as serious as I can be when I say I feel strongly about you, possibly even more so than you feel about me.”
He’s telling the truth, his heart beat doesn’t betray him, that is how Bakugo knows he’s being genuine.
Bakugo smiles, not smirks, not sarcastic not anything but just smiles.“That’s what I wanna hear.” He finally allows for them to be together the way they want to. Aoyama’s mouth doesn’t taste any different than it did before.
<# <# <# <# <# <# <# <# <# <# <# <# <# <# <# <# <# <# vague NSFW ahead
Good thing it’s Saturday and Bakugo has zero plans on doing anything else today. It might be sprouting daylight outside but inside it’s sparkling and shining with love and cries of pleasure fueled by passion. Aoyama holds Bakugo close skin to skin, clothes discarded a while ago. He spends the morning in Aoyama’s company, his first name passing through his teeth with emotions he normally doesn’t get to experience with anyone else.
“Katsuki” Aoyama gasps, moving hard and fast. His arms wrap around Bakugo, like the bedspread that isn’t covering them. They want to see each other and that’s exactly what they do.
Bakugo is going to be fucking pissed about cleaning up what the other blond did but that doesn’t matter right now. All that matters is how hot and close everything feels right now.
Aoyama smiles through his now messy hair, eyes glinting with satisfaction with what he's doing. (rather who he’s doing) Bakugo is already spent, sweaty and soon to be used up. His body is limp and the weight of Aoyama keeps increasing and decreasing before it’s so extremely heavy he can’t stand it anymore.
“Ahh, f-fuck!” Katsuki moans.
Yuga hushs him slowly like his movements.Katsuki continues to groan in response to him pulling him in closer so he can finish. Aoyama lets out a couple of breaths himself before their time is nearing its end. He wraps his arms around Katsuki knowing full well there isn’t anything else they can do today having expended all of their energy on each other.
“Yuga," Bakugo strains one last time, seeing more than stars.
Then that’s it, there isn’t anything else to discuss that is how it ends. Aoyama can surely say this is one thing he doesn’t regret or feel bad about doing in his believed short life. He does regret what this is going to turn into when the truth comes out.
Let it be known he loves Katsuki more than words can express and if there was a way to live his life over again in a world without problems he would change it in a heartbeat without question just to be with Katsuki.

My heart hurts for him, even though the whole traitor thing was fucked up, I can't imagine how hard it was to handle all of this on his own :(
"How is he supposed to feel when he’s lying beside Bakugo knowing full well he’s the one who got him captured by the villains?" this part hits so hard because imagine being the cause of hurting someone you love…
now I really do want to see Bakugo's full reaction to this when he finds out, I wonder if he will go still before going mad
I can't imagine the feeling of waking up to see your partner has cried all night without you knowing, without knowing the reason, without being able to comfort them through whatever they are going through, this situation is heartbreaking for both of them :(
not me all emotional and sad and Bakugo just goes straight for itjhcjldf no bullshit with him
"it's not like I don't tell you the truth all the time either." OH U DIDN'T HAVE TO SHOOT HIM LIKE THAT
NOT HIM THINKING OF MARRIAGE ALREADY
I love how you made Bakugo describe love or relationships as a game because I really do think in his brain everything works like that most of the time, he calculates everything in win or lose, even the most human and emotional experiences
OMG, HE WANTS TO GIVE IT A PROPER TRY, HE WANTS TO GIVE THEM A FAIR CHANCE BUT THE TIMING OH….
THIS CONFESSIONFUCKDFGKCJLCJFLJC MY HEART IS BEATING SO FAST RIGHT NOW FUCKKJKJGLJFG
"He didn’t even know Bakugo knew his name." HDFJLCLMKXCLMKDCLKFDL THE WAY I JUST BURST OUT LAUGHINGIDFDFKJDKH
AOYAMA PLSKCJKCL MY HEART IS VERY WEAK PLS DON'T COMMIT IF YOU AINT GOING TO KEEP THE PROMISE LATER I'M SO STRESSED OUT
I have something to say but I will keep it for the afterthoughts
WHAT'S HURTING ME THE MOST IS THAT I KNOW HE WANTS TO MEAN IT ALL AND I KNOW HE DOES BUT DAMN ONE DAY HE WILL JUST BE GONE AND LEAVE MY POOR KATSUKI WITH A SHATTERED HEART
Only Bakugo would think about cleaning during sexy timejkfkjf
well, I'm glad they spent the morning loving each other, love that for them!!
----
OH MY GOD THIS WAS THE PERFECT ENDING FOR ACT 1 JUSTOIDFLKFDLKSFLKSF U MADE ME SCREAM FR THIS TIME, I WAS BITING MY FINGERS OFF
OKAY SOOOOOOOO
I'm a huge swiftie right (hopefully you don't hate her), but as I was reading I thought that it reminded me of two of her songs and I want to share them here because I just love her lyrics and I think it suits this Bakuyama so well
so first one is long story short
"I tried to pick my battles 'til the battle picked me / Misery / Like the war of words I shouted in my sleep" - aoyama's breakdown in the beginning
"I was in the alley, surrounded on all sides / The knife cuts both ways / If the shoe fits, walk in it 'til your high heels break" - just the whole traitor situation, how he thinks he has to follow it until the end bc he "chose (was forced) into this role"
"When I dropped my sword / I threw it in the bushes and knocked on your door / And we live in peace / But if someone comes at us / This time, I'm ready" - since you mentioned wanting to explore post-war for them, I immediately thought of this part. I imagine Aoyama will always deal with PTSD and anxiety bc of how his teen years are going, so I can see him wanting to stay on alert just in case. The last verse can also be looked at from the pov of Bakugo, he will be ready if someone tries to take his baby away from him again
"Your nemeses / Will defeat themselves before you get the chance to swing" - I think this can encompass the war, ofc it won't be this easy but you know, it's a pretty line so I wanted to put here
"Rare as the glimmer of a comet in the sky / And he feels like home / If the shoe fits, walk in it everywhere you go" - I like this verse a lot because it feels like the difference between being forced into a role and now being comfortable where you are
this is so long already, but the other song would be ivy:
"Your touch brought forth an incandescent glow / Tarnished but so grand" - like cmon, is this not THEM???? they both have quirks related to light, explosion, warmth, and light
most parts of the song and the chorus could be used for very angst-based moments, but I don't wanna take too long on them
"I wish to know / The fatal flaw that makes you long to be / Magnificently cursed" - obviously about the secret, I'm gonna cry why is it so bakuyama coded
"What would he do if he found us out?" - the fear of AFO finding out about them, what would he do to Bakugo if he knew he could be used for blackmail purposes…
okay this next part is my favorite
"How's one to know? / I'd live and die for moments that we stole / On begged and borrowed time / So tell me to run / Or dare to sit and watch what we'll become" - you used the expression borrowed time and immediately this song played in my head because imagine after Aoyama leaves, both of them thinking of the time they had together
"So yeah, it's a war / It's the goddamn fight of my life / And you started it" - it's a fight, it's a war, it's their lives on the line, but also their relationship
okay, I'm gonna stop here but yeah !! I really am so invested in your story, I can't wait to see what's gonna come up next, thank you for giving me such a fun time today! i will make sure to keep an eye on the sideblog to get more updates <333

i need to get this out of my head before i continue clone^2 but danny being the first batkid. Like, standard procedure stuff: his parents and sister die, danny ends up with Vlad Masters. He drags him along to stereotypical galas and stuff; Danny is not having a good time.
He ends up going to one of the Wayne Galas being hosted ever since elusive Bruce Wayne has returned to Gotham. Vlad is crowing about having this opportunity as he's been wanting to sink his claws into the company for a long while now. Danny is too busy grieving to care what he wants.
And like most Galas, once Vlad is done showing him off to the other socialites and the like, he disappears. Off to a dark corner, or to one of the many balconies; doesn't matter. There he runs into said star of the show, Bruce who is still young, has been Batman for at least a year at this point, but still getting used to all these damn people and socializing. He's stepped off to hide for a few minutes before stepping back into the shark tank.
And he runs into a kid with circles under his eyes and a dull gleam in them. Familiar, like looking into a mirror.
Danny tries to excuse himself, he hasn't stopped crying since his parents died and it's been months. He rubs his eyes and stands up, and stumbles over a half-hearted apology to Mister Wayne. Some of Vlad's etiquette lessons kicking in.
Bruce is awkward, but he softens. "That's alright, lad," he says, pulling up some of that Brucie Wayne confidence, "I was just coming out here to get some fresh air."
There's a little pressing; Bruce asks who he's here with, Danny says, voice quiet and grief-stricken, that he's with his godfather Vlad Masters. Bruce asks him if he knows where he is, and Danny tells him he does. Bruce offers to leave, Danny tells him to do whatever he wants.
It ends with Bruce staying, standing off to the side with Danny in silence. Neither of them say a word, and Danny eventually leaves first in that same silence.
Bruce looks into Vlad Masters after everything is over, his interest piqued. He finds news about him taking in Danny Fenton: he looks into Danny Fenton. He finds news articles about his parents' deaths, their occupations, everything he can get his hands on.
At the next gala, he sees Danny again. And he looks the same as ever: quiet like a ghost, just as pale, and full of grief. Bruce sits in silence with him again for nearly ten minutes before he strikes a conversation.
"Do you like to do anything?"
Nothing. Just silence.
Bruce isn't quite sure what to do: comfort is not his forte, and Danny doesn't know him. He's smart enough to know that. So he starts talking about other things; anything he can think of that Brucie Wayne might say, that also wasn't inappropriate for a kid to hear.
Danny says nothing the entire time, and is again the first to leave.
Bruce watches from a distance as he intercts with Vlad Masters; how Vlad Masters interacts with him. He doesn't like what he sees: Vlad Masters keeps a hand on Danny's shoulder like one would hold onto the collar of a dog. He parades him around like a trophy he won.
And there are moments, when someone gets too close or when someone tries to shake Danny's hand, of deep possessiveness that flints over Vlad Masters' eyes. Like a dragon guarding a horde.
He plays the act of doting godfather well: but Bruce knows a liar when he sees one. Like recognizes like.
Danny is dull-eyed and blank faced the entire time; he looks miserable.
So Bruce tries to host more parties; if only so that he can talk to Danny alone. Vlad seems all too happy to attend, toting Danny along like a ribbon, and on the dot every hour, Danny slips away to somewhere to hide. Bruce appears twenty minutes later.
"I was looking into your godfather's company," he says one night, trying to think of more things to say. Some nights all they do is sit in silence. "Some of my shareholders were thinking of partnering up--"
"Don't."
He stops. Danny hardly says a word to him, he doesn't even look at him -- he's sitting on the ground, his head in his knees. Like he's trying to hide from the world. But he's looking, blue eyes piercing up at Bruce.
Bruce tilts his head, practiced puppy-like. "Pardon?"
"Don't." Danny says, strongly. "Don't make any deals with Vlad."
It's the most words Danny's spoken to him, and there's a look in his eyes like a candle finding its spark. Something hard. Bruce presses further, "And why is that?"
The spark flutters, and flushes out. Danny blinks like he's coming out of a trance, and slumps back into himself. "Just don't."
Bruce stares at him, thoughtful, before looking away. "Alright. I won't."
And they fall back into silence.
Danny, when he leaves, turns to look at Bruce, "I mean it." He says; soft like he's telling a secret, "Don't make any deals with him. Don't be alone with him. Don't work with him."
He's scampered away before Bruce can question him further.
(He never planned on working with Vlad Masters and his company; he's done his research. He's seen the misfortune. But nothing ever leads back to him. There's no evidence of anything. But Danny knows something.)
At their next meeting, Danny starts the conversation. It's new, and it's welcomed. He says, cutting through their five minute quiet, that he likes stars. And he doesn't like that he can't see them in Gotham.
Bruce hums in interest, and Danny continues talking. It's as if floodgates had been opened, and as Bruce takes a sip of his wine, it tastes like victory.
("Tucker told me once--")
("Tucker?")
("Oh-- uh, one of my best friends. He's a tech geek. We haven't talked in a while.")
(Danny shut down in his grief -- his friends are worried, but can't reach him. When he goes back to the manor with Vlad, he fishes out his phone and sends them a message.)
(They are ecstatic to hear from him.)
It all culminates until one day, when Danny is leaving to go back inside, that Bruce speaks up. "You know," He says, leaning against the railing. "The manor has many rooms; plenty of space for a guest."
The implication there, hidden between the lines. And Danny is smart, he looks at Bruce with a sharp glean in his eyes, and he nods. "Good to know."
The next time they see each other, Danny has something in his hands. "Can you hold onto something for me?" He asks.
When Bruce agrees, Danny places a pearl into his palm. or, at least, it's something that looks like a pearl. Because it's cold to the touch; sinking into Bruce's white silk gloves with ease and shimmering like an opal. It moves a little as it settles into his hand, and the moves like its full of liquid.
Bruce has never seen anything like it before, but he does know this; it's not human. "What is it?" He asks, and Danny looks uncomfortable.
"I can't tell you that." He says, shifting on his foot like he's scared of someone seeing it. "But please be careful with it. Treat it like it's extremely fragile."
When Bruce gets home, he puts it in an empty ring box and hides the box in the cave. He tries researching into what it is. he can't find anything concrete.
Everything comes to a head one day when Danny appears at the manor's doorstep one evening, soaking wet in the rain, and bleeding from the side.
