19. favorite thing about the day?

Right now it's the real, actual sunlight. I'm over my gollum-level horror at it returning from winter now, so for the next month I'm just a silly little plant, soaking it up and possibly having enough energy to actually do things. People get wacky this time of year here. Once it's 60F (16C?) you see people out sunbathing. It's nuts.

20. favorite thing about the night?

I have a liiiiittle time alone at night and it's the best thing ever. It's never enough though. Solitude, my beloved ❤️

I'm not up on YouTube culture, so this is probably a weird answer lol. Very much in love with Vox Machina, the actual DnD campaign version, (200+ hours sunk into it so far) and my sister made me love Buzzfeed Unsolved back in the day, so I've seen all of those, including the Supernatural episodes. Occasionally I still watch what those guys are up to, but not much other than those two. I need more hours in a day for serious.

Ok, I edited the picture but it won't let me put edited picture up. Just imagine me bouncing off the walls as well, top middle.

I think this is self-explanatory for the majority, but biting him because I want to chew him up, I want to mentally gnaw on this man to the extent that I know what his flesh taste like so that I can write him better. This crescendos into I wanna do violent things to him because honestly, getting killed by your lover's sibling with your own spear sticks in my head like glue. I'm obsessed. I keep writing him dying because I cannot get over it. The imagery haunts me. It's painful and unnecessary and historical that he dies there, so ok. But owch.

KJHGVFHJKJHGB OH ANON that's like once a day!! I'm honored, and so glad you like it kjhbvbnjbhvn I hope to write a lot more oneshots dedicated to them once I finish Attentive Vigor!!! Burn Like Whiskey Flames by Lysandra_Lewis aka @ithinkthiswasabadidea (frankie I'm sorry I always tag u for this but I will be repping this fic until the day I die and I must pay my dues!!) This is actually my favorite macsummers fic ever - not that there are a lot to pick from but Frankie set the bar HIGH with this one!! I've ranted about it here on tumblr, on discord, to literally anyone who will give me the time of day to talk abt macsummers fics, because I always come back to it! Comfort fic fr!!!

The Differences Between Words by Bradleybeautiful. I'll be frank and say that the formatting in this one isn't my favorite, but the writing itself makes me insane. It's a Sean POV with some very eloquent and beautiful prose, contrasting him consistently insisting on his own stupidity, and that alone has been DOING something to me since my very first read of it. Very much worth the read!!!

ANYWAY Thank you so much dear anon for your support!!! I understand too well the hunger for MacSummers content, and while I'm so so glad what I've got to share thus far has been so well received, I really do want to contribute more than what I've been doing, once I get the chance!!

so I used to be SO against paperbacks to the point dramatic teen me would cry if only paperback was available and I would never annotate anything or smth now I LOVE IT. I changed completely and celebrate imperfect copies and mark anything I like in books ans write into them. I‘m very glad I got over that perfectionism. **My seven lines is from smut (Slide Back Into The Abyss), so that's below the cut. Uh. CW: Biting, rough foreplay. Deimos (AC Odyssey) is involved, so whether it is safe or sane is questionable. tagging @artschoolglasses, @ithinkthiswasabadidea, @kassidas2fanfiction, @aquila-v, @stressfulsloth, @baejax-the-great. No pressure, of course!

The pressure is just shy of breaking skin, but it will bruise. The next morning there will be splotches of purple and green across her pale skin and she will wince as she looks down at the mark. Deimos inhales sharply through their nose, eyes lidded as they imagine how Thaleia will feel with such a reminder. They bite down harder, locking their jaw. Their eyes close, the rush of power over another is an addictive memory and they want to remember this. This is my place, they remind themselves. The world in my hands, shuddering. Their hands spread her legs farther, nails digging in to leave halfmoons on the tender inside of thighs.

constantin d'orsay (greedfall) baby boy. has done nothing wrong ever in his entire life. seeing him activates my knight instinct. i would fight lord and lady d'orsay for him. i would fight the high king guy for him. i would fight god for him. if he is wrong i would reshape reality to make him right. all of this to say, i love him a normal amount.

viego (league of legends / ruination / runeterra) if i had a nickel for every time a character i love was born a second son of a ruler and so was never intended to lead, yet became an heir after his brother's death, was supposed to die because of poison, had only one person he cared about deeply, in something between eternal love and obsession caused immense destruction for the sake of that person (who has never asked for any of this), had some sort of transformation during which his hair turned from fair/blond to platinum, his eye color changed, and there appeared some weird magic-related thing on his head symbolizing his becoming a villain (or, rather, making it clear that he was wrong all along), then i'd have two nickels. which isn't a lot, but it's weird that it happened twice. ok, now for a more normal explanation. bringing your kingdom & then entire realm to ruin for your wife? in grief, in hopeless attempt to revive her? i love this! i love it when love turns people evil.

camilla hect (the locked tomb) i don't have coherent thoughts about her. i simply adore her with my whole heart. here's to camilla hect, yet another of devotion's casualties!!!

gale dekarios aka gale of waterdeep (baldur's gate 3) i will kill mystra.

gabrielle de lioncourt (the vampire chronicles) there is much to analyze about her background and her relationships, esp with lestat, and i am most definitely unfit for this. let me just say that if i were a vampire, i would also ditch humanity and explore some jungle instead. and probably wear men's clothes.

fang runin (the poppy war) my darling girl who fell in love with the war, and nobody told her it ended. i think she should get to burn the world down, as a treat.

breezepelt (warrior cats) i am including him because he is my og blorbo. 10-year old me really looked at the worst guy ever and said yeah that's the one. my love for writing about dysfunctional families and defying religion could probably be traced back to him.

constance blackwood (we have always lived in the castle) i NEED to teleport into the world of this book and ask constance her perspective. because she knew it, i mean, she knew what must have actually happened the whole time. i wonder what she felt after the accident, and if/how her view changed since then. i wonder what she thought of her parents, and of merricat, and of the life they came to lead. we get some of it from the dialogue and interactions ofc, but it doesn't stop me from contemplating all of this.
