So you know that thing that was hunting N down?
Yeah, I wanted to see it closer and well...
Spoilers duh
Even going at a snail pace of 0.25x speed, it's nearly impossible to catch it. These images are some of the clearest ones I could get, and were almost frames apart.
This one being one of the clearest.
I added some guidelines to attempt to make out the body shape and characteristics, but the blurred framing and rubble makes it really hard to see anything (and also I'm fairly blind, so feel free to draw it out better 😅
Are they clearer by any means? Absolutely not XD
Why did I even bother? Just for fun. And also to guess what the heck it is. Because Nori assumed it was either Doll or Uzi, but was not sure who it was.
It can't be Uzi, because she was watching the tape at this time. It could be Doll, but that would have to mean her core took form... But it didn't?
Tessa entity ate it later in the episode, which means that the core was with Doll the entire time she was waddling over to warn Uzi. So, it leaves two possibilities:
The Absolute Solver: the same one that was dragging N into the wall of flesh. Con: N blasted the tunnel to keep the solver contained.
2. Tessa entity: I will assume that around the same time, or just minutes prior, Tessa entity jump scared Doll in a different tunnel. Con: It's unknown if Tessa entity can change as quickly as Cyn could between Eldrich version and contained/drone/human version.
And the question once again comes, why bother even doing this? Well, my question would be: wtf is Tessa entity/1001? Because a DD core, when it takes form, looks like this:
But then, there is also Cyn's form, which looks like this:
And technically they are the same, my issue is how they manifest differently. J's core activated when it decided it needed more materials to rebuild the body. But Cyn's form is not broken, it simply switches between the three forms: WD, Eldrich Cyn, and Absolute Solver form (with camera looking heads).
So technically, it could be said that the drone that is used to put Tessa's skin on is Cyn's WD body.
Very little evidence? Yes. Am I slow? Hell yeah. (I mean, half of the names I see are Cynessa for the entity. Give me a break, my brain is slow af ;w;) But given that 1001 generally means it's the first of many, it could be a nod to Cyn being the first Absolute Solver host that we KNOW of. There could have been other drones that were also discarded incorrectly and were possessed by the Absolute Solver.

I’m a grown woman obsessed with Logan and Quinn suddenly again like a 12 year old after that trailer. And I have some thoughts. We have possible outcomes that I can see based on the limited scenes we got. The bad case: they get engaged off screen and announce it to Zoey over FaceTime like we saw in the trailer. Then Quinn does a runner on the wedding day (we do get a shot of her running in a wedding dress), and the wedding ends up being about chase and Zoey getting back together. We see Logan has a headset on in pretty much every shot, including when he’s standing at the alter (wtf Logan?). Maybe Quinn sees this, and panics, and thinks money and work will come before her so she runs. Eventually they end up back together, and we then get that shot of him proposing again and promising it won’t happen (with Zoey there, why 🙄) and we are left with the implication they’ll get married eventually. It’s also the 1 scene between the two of them where he isn’t wearing his headset which adds value to the whole he’s a workaholic thing and Quinn’s had enough. The thing that makes me confused is that Quinn is 100% already wearing her engagement ring in that shot, and Logan 100% has jewellery in that box. The better option: Logan is jokingly giving her some jewellery in a ring box, and her nodding is just a weird cut to something else he said (I.e., not accepting a proposal). That scene is weird as well because Zoey’s 2 best friends of almost 20 years are getting engaged, Quinn is nodding yes and Zoey looks confused and worried. The confusing thing about it is Quinn’s hair is short, but it is long for every other shot. Cause Quinn and Logan look different in that shot to the rest of the movie, I was hoping that perhaps it’s a flashback to when they got engaged many years ago and it has just been a really long engagement. So when they tell Zoey over FaceTime, it’s not about getting married it’s about them finally setting a date? But that doesn’t tie into why Quinn has an engagement ring on already. Regardless of how it happens I know they’ll 100% end up together but I don’t want them to be plot devices to Zoey and chase. I may be losing my mind over this. I need a break but had to share my obsessive thoughts with someone.
oh man, where do I start. I'm also a grown person obsessed with a ship from my childhood. I said it a lot of times heheh but Quogan was my first ship and the first fanfic I ever read was about them. I didn't know what a fanfic was and really thought that was some deleted scene or something XD.
I would hate to if they don't get married at the end, that would be so disappointing, but it would not ruin the ship for me, I'd simply not consider the movie canon and make/read a fic fixing that lol.
I am bothered by Zoey being there for the proposal/or whatever that was, because ugh can we, please, have something? without her? please? I never cared about her character (or anyone aside from Logan and Quinn, really) So I hope they don't make that moment about them.
I do hope it's a flashback, but like you said, the ring makes it not make sense.
I was also wondering about Logan's headset, I thought it was more of him being a bridezilla and controlling the whole wedding and making it all about himself, excluding Quinn unintentionaly lol.
I need to rewatch the show to refresh my memory about the characters, it's been years after all. I never saw Logan as the workaholic kind, but I could be wrong or he could have changed, idk.
Either way, all I hope right now is that they end up together. If they decide marriage is not for them, I'll accept it as long as they don't separate. God please don't let that happen. Tho I won't deny I would be pissed, since they are advertising this using their wedding as a bait and for them to not give us that at the end? very shady. We would be quoganbaited lol.
Speaking of that, I too don't want them to be a plot device for Zoey and Chase. I can't stress enough how much I don't care about them. And I understand the movie is about finally getting them together, but please, let us have Quogan in peace. The two ships can co-exist without overshadowing the other (despite one being clearly superior ehem)

some closing thoughts after this 2-months long adventure revisiting Yugioh 5D's..
I feel like I finally could enjoy this show as it's supposed to be enjoyed and it probably has to do with the fact that I'm more mature now (also finally able to get the full hd experience 🤣) and there's a fun thing about having a dogshit working memory: to be able to experience this show almost as if it was the first time again 😊 I can't recall when was the last time I watched it but it was probably close to 8-10 years ago 🤣
some loathed characters became favorites - I was avoiding this show like the plague because Jack Atlas was just......... so bad for past me 🤣🤣🤣 - well it turns out his peacock personality and overpowering sex appeal worked on me 🙄 Thanks I hate it 🤣💜
some characters I paid no attention before became favorites, too: Rex Godwin have my whole heart and I am so sad he died.. man why do my favorites always die huh huh???? 😭 get me out of here with this shit......... also, Rua (Lua) is the sweetest little guy and I was so damn excited for him because he's just so goddamn cool?!??1 Wtf!! Also most the "villains" since I'm built different and villains are my weak spot 🤣
my favorites are still my favorites so it was a delight to go back to them and love them even more, and see them in a different way than before

guess the most surprising thing though?
Bruno/Antinomy!
have to confess I did not remember him much so I kind of went on blind and, fuck me, he became one of my favs and do I even risk to say he IS my favorite character in this show?!!?? I could talk about this and about him for days but the long story short is that he checked all the boxes for me and pressed all the right buttons too and then he died too because of fucking course he died and I cried like fuck my life dude. That was so devastating... definitely want to give this show another go soon just so I can watch Bruno again. We have never had another character as cool and interesting as him in the franchise
as is tradition in YGOs, 5Ds started getting much better by the end, but it was very solid all over (except that arc full of fillers, it was annoying as hell because the episodes were not good), Crash Town was fun, and the last two arcs (WRGP and Ark Cradle) were very good
overall.. I think I'd bump 5Ds all the way up, becoming my second favorite YGO (guess it was in 4th place before?), because Zexal takes the podium FOR NOW, we'll see when I rewatch it and just how that will go XD
because we don't gatekeep on this house, you can find mkv+soft subs at nyaa dot si (best quality you'll get, but the files are fucking massive), and streaming at 123anime dot info (you can download there too, but it's mp4+hard subs). Both have all YGO series and a few other things too yay \o/

not really? i mean almost... *heavy sigh* alright... so the thing was... i was doing a year abroad in the USA but i extended it for 6 more months. i then was in cananda for a few days and when i wanted to cross the border into the US again... they didn't let me. there was a whole foofaraw about it and they asked me a question and... i panicked... and... i lied (about sth very minor) and so the LYING (because i am an absolute IDIOT SERIOUSLY wtf were you thinking past me????) almost got me in trouble. my passport and visa btw were perfectly fine, they were just a$$holes
but long story short: they gave me a stern look and shook their head at my idiocy as they let me walk out the border office or whatever. still was pretty terrifying (not my highest point of life ngl)
(i also probably didn't look like a terrorist or sth so that might have helped)

fr tho, watching Humphrey giving Alison ideas was so deliciously cheeky and fun to watch!!!
that one camera movement where Humphrey plays the angel and devil on Alison's shoulders was *chef's kiss* brilliantly well played!!!
when the Captain realises that Alison's picking them off one by one and then immediately falls for her prank lmao
look! they let Ben run in the woods again! huzzah! he must have been so pleased they let him lol
we love a Ben Willbond take on the classic "clever girl" line 👌🏼
Thomas's prank was absolutely ruthless but the little shit (mostly affectionate) deserves it LMAO

6. Work I’m most proud of (and why):
I Hope We Never Change was my first story and I've put a lot of heart into it. But I also have to mention my advent fic love drunk, waiting on a miracle. Writing 30k words in just three weeks is something I could never have seen myself do. It has been a challenge but I am soo glad I did it.
7. Work I’m least proud of (and why):
I Hope We Never Change Yeah I'm really proud of this one, but I also know I could've done soo much better. As is often the case with your first work, I think.
8. Share or describe a favourite review you received:
This one, because I love when a comment reflects what I wanted to portray. Makes me feel like I've done a good job. Same with this one. And I loved this one, too.
I also received some video reaction from my lovely beta @liberty-barnes which is just something else I love that soo much. <3
But honestly, I cry about almost every comment. I'm just soo grateful people enjoy my silly lil writing.
9. A time when writing was really, really hard:
Finishing Every Snowflake Is Different (Just Like You) was really hard. I struggled with fitting the pieces together a lot
10. A scene or character you wrote that surprised you:
No really a scene, but then again REALLY a scene XD, but writing Slow Hands really wasn't on by bucket list. It was, if nothing else, a great writing exercise and I'm happy people liked it even tho it had Narry in it XD. (also, if anyone sees this as a kinda sequel to I Hope We Never Change, I will not disagree, although I didn't write it like that it might very well be)
11. A favourite excerpt of your writing:
"All that will ever matter to me is you. My sexuality could never be more important. I haven't figured out what I am yet, but I know I’m yours. And I want you to always be mine. Whether that be my boyfriend, girlfriend, my partner.” (I Hope We Never Change)
12. How did you grow as a writer this year:
When I started again in June after almost ten years of not writing anything, I didn't think I would ever post anything. And now here I am, with 10 stories and over 80k words and I can't quite believe that even happened and that people would enjoy my writing at all.
13. How do you hope to grow next year:
There are a lot of areas I struggle with. Writing a scene with lots of people for example. I hope to get out of my comfort zone a bit next year.
14. Who was your greatest positive influence this year as a writer (could be another writer or beta or cheerleader or muse etc etc):
@liberty-barnes Miah, you already know this, but none of these stories would exist without you. Thank you soo much ily<3

Definitely. Gender stuff is always very close to my heart, but I'm sure loads of my own insecurities blend into my stories as well
16. Any new wisdom you can share with other writers:
This will sounds like no advice at all, but just write. Doesn't matter if it's good, doesn't matter if it makes sense, doesn't matter if anything's missing. I have so many things marked as unfinished, so many half written sentences (mark those, otherwise your beta will be very confused XD sorry @liberty-barnes :*)
If I have a scene in my head I'll write it even if it's just a few sentences. I can always change it later if it doesn't quite fit anymore, but at least I have it written down.
17. Any projects you’re looking forward to starting (or finishing) in the new year:
Yes, I have a pretty big project planned. Can't wait to start writing.

Wtf :| I was using my phone after I woke up in the middle of the night.
And after a while, I started drifting back to sleep. Phone was away and my eyes closed. And in my "almost asleep state" with eyes closed, I almost got a dream? Image? The winter we're currently having. We used to have snow starting in November (sometimes in October!) and so far, we only got 2 days of snow and a week of icy rain. I really hope we'll have snow for Christmas this year.

Review:
Yeah I recommend this Bat-Man story!! it's fun and silly and only six pages!! It's about The Bat-Man stopping thieves by employing a weird technique.
Story Summary:
There are jewel thieves running amok so The Bat-Man, being the world's greatest detective, interrogates a police informer about who's behind them and whats their next move. The Bat-Man then uses this information to sneak up on them, beat them up and frame himself as part of the thieves. The newspapers pick this story up and frame The Bat-Man as part of the thieves. This causes the leader of the thieves to feel more bold as now the police will be looking for The Bat-Man and not them. The following night the thieves are at work and The Bat-Man captures them and leaves, taunting the police while doing so. The Bat-Man then makes his way into the thieves' leaders office and forces him into giving a written confession. The Bat-Man delivers him to the police and leaves a cheeky letter behind.

Okay, we have to do both sides. It's a must, not a can. But I like it more this way.
- Elaine walking into Vans office like she owns the place ^^’
- Swin and Nadia are on the move with Elaine now and appearantly they all do 4Spriggans Missions now
- In this game Towa will be responsible for making us homesick XD
- Märchen Garten again
- Swin, Nadia and Elaine are surrounded in a really bad fight and it sounds like they are already at their limit from a previous fight... do I have to watch them die now?
- They just killed Swin and Nadia while a black screen was on. WTF?! Elaine can scream and cry all she wants, how is this supposed to be emotional? For some reason Nadia had a Genesis with her and as Inferno just joked, appearantly you have to scream and cry and then time turns back. How convinient...
- But seriously, there was no emotional inpackt here whatsoever. That is not very well done.
- After turning back time they now fight with Zin by their side. This is basically like what KeA did in Crossbell. Just that back then, the reveal what really happened was really shocking. Here it just... kinda... boring.
- Even with Zin it seems like we are getting nowhere...
- Once again, they died without the Camera even showing us. Its Zin this time who is screaming and with all this its so anticlimatic its almost annyoing.
- Third time is the charm. Walter joyned us this time and Zin came rushing in when he fucked it up. I am almost sad we are not going for another round just for Killika to joyin them too XD
- Seriously, this whole time travel thing is a damn joke.
- Swin and Nadia seems to know something about Mare... is her voice actor a choice and not a coicidence perhaps?

-Elysium got mentioned and I know from the Spoiler that this mess here has definitly something to do with Elysium. I am not sure tho if Falcom reusing that plot is more stupid then reusing the Kloe plot with Musse.
- I hate to say that but... isn’t it lierally suicide to let Van walk around without Agnes and her Genesis, given how her not being there and thus him not being able to transform was actually the reason why he and Elaine died? Seems actually stupid.
- Feri and Aaron dancing together... its... a weird mix, to be honest ^^’
- Team is Feri, Aaron and Van this time, they are in Aarons hometown and do stuff. I think they talked about the attack that Swin and Nadia were killed in two times, but what do I know? ^^’
- In any case, Stream 2 is almost over and I think its time to go to bed now.
- I try to continue tomorrow and catch up with Inferno. He is doing a double stream once again, so no Idea if I will make it. But we will see.
- So far... I am disappointed to be honest. Obviously I do not get most of the story, but I think they handled the whole characters dying and time getting reversed thing really badly.

Did i die? Am i glitching?? Am i falling off the platform or what????' And then we got thrown out of another gate

Me with no idea wtf is happening" ..alright I guess I'll go target the boss again
Second time I noticed everyone was grouped up by a gate so I thought an AOE was about to happen, which is the only reason I ran over there lmao
Then they started interacting with it so I got the hint there

Boss was on final legs, killed it, everyone exchanged gjs

#lotr good#lol i know i already made a post about it earlier this week but i finished watching the extended movies<\3#reading the appendices is slightly on halt since its no less work than studying but#i think readinf the books was soooo much fun like i already really miss being able to pick it up every day for month#the fact that you spend so much more time reading than watching a movie sort of makes the connection a bit stronger in a way#like im not sure how many hours i spent reading all 3 books over four weeks but it must be like 40 at least#being able to see it all in movie form is soo lovely cause 1) theyre just such fun movies and 2) you dont have to work your brain to#visualize things as much#although i did end up getting quite used to the writing style and endless describing of landscapes#so i didnt have to focus super hard anymore after a while#but yeah still its nice to just be able to sit back and let it sorta come at you rather than actively read it all#though a difference is that in the book if you find a scene or quote that hits hard you can just sort of read it over and over while still#staying in the zone or the vibe of the scene#whereas in a movie you can rewind of course but it breaks it up a bit xD#sometimes while reading i would loop a quote 4 or 5 times in my head before moving on#idk wtf i am talking about its almost 4am but i am so surprised i ended up liking lotr so much#like i wanted to watch it cause i was curious and general cultural education and stuff but especially after reading of course#ive not really had a new interest where i can like do endless research and learn soo many things about it for quite a while#the experience of finding something new and like slowly familiarizing yourself with it more and more is so much fun#also sjfjdj at me having to read and watch the grey havens scene twice within a week#first the book last monday and now the movie#me sobbing both times😭#its just really good#and i reiterate because it must be said#nobody ever did and nobody ever will do it like samwise gamgee#shoutout to taking the hobbits to ise gard#shoutout to the shire theme constantly transitioning into the gridania theme in my head#and good night (collapses)#long post#< in case of accidental tag opening sjfjdj
