Total Drama Psycho Noah AU, when Noah became Chris' Assistant, both Chris and Chef eventually learn how INSANE Noah truly is and how great Noah is at hiding it... As a lowkey psycho himself, Chris thinks that it's awesome... Noah would sometimes give Chris deadly ideas for the show! 😈

See, Chris himself literally states that he's fond of Scary Girl/Lauren in the reboot because she's so unhinged. Given that he's a bit (read: a lot) of a sadistic sociopath (/pos), it's pretty much a given that he'd have a weird sort of appreciation for characters who can keep up with his more dangerous tendencies; just look at how many cameos Izzy makes in seasons she's not even supposed to be a part of! And how many times Izzy manages to re-enter the competitions she's already been voted out from!

He's definitely got a bias towards the more psychotically-inclined characters.

So of course he'd think that psycho!Noah is awesome.

He'd be fully aware of just how insane Noah is, and how eerily good he is at masking such, just by proxy of being the show's host.

Remember, Noah spends the majority of his confessional time straight up mocking and taunting the audience with what he could potentially do, given his skillsets and lack of integrity, and his and Izzy's scheming is hidden from the contestants but the two of them are diligent enough to ensure that the cameras can pick up on their crazed ramblings and plots- it's good content, after all. So pretty much everyone on the production team knows that Noah's missing a few screws, and is very much so an 'accident' waiting to happen.

Not that he'd ever intentionally hurt anyone. It's still Noah, after all, and he's far more inclined towards psychological warfare than anything physical. Noah's got more self-control than his confessionals would let on, but he finds a twisted sense of amusement in threatening the viewers with his 'instability' and portraying himself as a wolf in sheep's clothing. In the same vein, he's not entirely morally bereft, or particularly violent (certain incidents non-withstanding), but his commitment/indulgence in the whole 'unhinged psychopath' display often overrides his better judgement. It's just so fun to let loose and go wild, sometimes.

(He's far more susceptible to violence when it's 'justifiable'. Duncan's a bully and a thug, and he's the one to physically accost Noah first, so he gets bitten. The Ripper is supposedly a murderer, trying to manhandle and kidnap Noah, so he gets his hand privileges revoked by means of two broken forearms. The whole 'painting the knife red' talk was a bluff on Noah's part, he was playing it up for the camera knowing that Owen would intervene- something to keep the audience on their toes, and something to add validity to his confessional threats.)

Maybe that's the reason they (Chris and Chef) take him on as a personal assistant in the first place? Given that p!Noah spends the majority of him time during Island secretly plotting and scheming with Izzy to cause as much chaos as possible, or intentionally being as unnerving towards the audience in his confessionals for his own amusement, whilst ensuring that the other competitors were none-the-wiser to his true nature (save for Duncan, eventually, in the TDDDDI special), he's the perfect candidate for someone who can keep up with Chris' wilder ideas whilst also maintaining a level of professionalism needed for showbusiness.

Because he can mask his less palatable tendencies, and he can do so proficiently and consistently enough to keep the people he's essentially trapped with fooled for ~8 weeks. That's an impressive, telling display of just how cunning and capable p!Noah is.

Though I imagine a lot of his assistantship would be Chris full-on enabling the real Noah, by tasking him with challenge preparation and encouraging him to make the challenges more deadly ambitious. It's like enrichment for the both of them; Chris gets to watch chaos unfold under his guidance, and Noah gets to actively cause chaos without having to consider the social/tactical drawbacks.

It also has the added bonus of giving both Noah and Chris an outlet for their manic energy that's relatively harmless, as opposed to letting Noah stew under his mask of indifference until he really does snap and inadvertently or intentionally hurt someone.

Note my use of the word 'ambitious' there, because that's pretty much the main defining difference between canon Noah and p!Noah (despite the obvious). p!Noah has goals and ambitions, something regular Noah lacks entirely, and these goals are to wreak as much havoc as he can undetected.

Luckily, that motivation coincide with Chris' goal of hosting an exciting show. He wants to broadcast drama, tension, and thrills to the viewing world- what's more thrilling than the perpetual threat of a crazy person finally snapping and ditching the façade? Letting said crazy person run wild with ideas that impact the whole show!

Not too wild, though.

Meanwhile, I imagine that Chef is the one to play peacekeeper between this dynamic duo and the rest of the production team, since he pretty much acts as a pseudo-caretaker/minder for Chris in canon anyway. The 'Voice of Reason', if you will, and someone hardy enough to actually confront the two should they take things too far.

1. Along Came a Spider

If you aren't reading this one, you're wrong because it's super good? Basically, Roier gets bit by a radioactive spider, Quackity is I think Norman Osborn, and Cellbit is a Very Normal Person who definitely isn't a literal cat burglar. It's super well written, all the characters are fun, there's a lot of intrigue going on, and the fandom needs more superhero aus, and what better character to use than the literal Spider-Man?

2. Divided Soul

I think everyone's been keeping up with this one, but I still recommend it!! It's some cool high fantasy shit starring Vegetta as a prince being haunted by his ex boyfriend (/pos) and Foolish as the Literal Most Traumatized Man On Earth. If you like angst and hurt/comfort, this is the one for you.

3. eternally, forever.

Another Fooligetta fic, this one's another popular one, but for good reason! It's heartbreaking in the amount of love you can feel coming off of Foolish the entire time, and then? Yeah. Read it, it's definitely worth it.

4. The Reason (English version linked here, but definitely check out the Portuguese or Spanish ones if that language works better for you!!

Where do I even begin. F!Cell never escaped from prison, and he is making it everybody's problem, including the new guy on the (cell) block, Roier, who is definitely supposed to be there. Definitely. This one's darker so only check it out if you're into like. Dark shit. But also it's super good, so yeah!!

5. partners (in crime)

This one is an Ordem Paranormal au and it's only one chapter rn but I think there will be more? Unsure! But, as it is, it's cute! I don't know a ton about OP, but Cellbit gets teased, and everyone is cute, and I hope there's more because I'm already invested. It is in Portuguese, but translating it is so worth it.

6. Red Gunpowder

This one's a newer one, only one chapter so far, but I'm super into it already I think? Basically, Cellbit is a Traumatized Cop and Roier is... not in the fic yet, but he sounds fun just from the description. The first chapter was pretty cool, and I can't wait to see where it goes!

7. Icarus is Flying Too Close to the Sun & This is How It Feels to Take a Fall (series linked)

Two fics in one bullet point because they're both just that good! All three of Bobby's parents try and get Bobby back, and it's super heartfelt and I felt Emotions and it's sweet :( Definitely read it!

8. your palms; a home for my soul

This one is so SWEET!! Basically, Roier's heart is broken, and he goes to a heart fixer to... fix it. (It's magic, don't question it.) It's a twoshot, but it's sooooo cute, the metaphor is INSANE and I went AAAA

9. Breaking Dawn

So this one's pretty popular as well, but it's for good reason! Basically, Cellbit is a wannabe paranormal investigator and Roier is a werewolf. I think it was supposed to just be a romcom from the author's description, but there's so much more? There's this whole sideplot with Felps being kidnapped and Roier being real shady about everything and Cellbit being the densest man on the planet, and it's super worth a read if you've got a couple hours to spare!

10. The Red Means I Love You!!

Okay so you know me by now, you know I love fucked up little guys finding love, and this one sure does have a fucked up little guy! Basically, q!Cellbit accidentally summons c!Roier to possess his husband when he was trying to summon Romero Richas to interrogate it, and things sure do happen. The characterization is killer, and so is c!Roier, who is so desperate for love that he'd kill for it. (Unfortunately for him, he's kinda met his match in the form of someone who'd kill to get his love back.)

11. Bad Romance

This is the direct sequel to the last fic, and normally I'm not too into that? But this one's worth it imo. Picking up after the end of the last fic, c!Roier breaks f!Cell out of prison and f!Cell definitely doesn't manipulate Roier into agreeing to help him murder Pac e Mike over them leaving him behind in prison. I'm not too into toxic relationships, but I have hope for these two tbh, who else could love them but each other?

Hi, I have a bunch of random questions about hw! 1) Do they sing the songs their group makes themselves? 2) Do they film their shows in the real world or in the Sekai? Do the virtual singers help them with that? 3) Are their relationships outside of hw more or less the same (e.g. Tsukasa with Toya or Rui with Mizuki)? 4) How likely are they to be recognized even with their masks? 1- everyone except nene does, starting off!! given everything thats gone on with her, pre-main story she still can’t get herself to sing anymore, even for online songs where she isn’t performing in front of an actual in person audience. after main story she gets more resolve, and she does take some time to start singing again, but with her very supportive friends she starts to find her confidence in singing again :) (can i mention how overjoyed rui gets about it. can i mention how much he missed her voice. can i mention how AGAIN he is filled with so much guilt around how the sound of her singing coming from her room was replaced by suffocating silence after what happened. can i mention how genuinely happy for her and proud of her he is, that despite it all, that maybe they really do have a chance here, all together. sorry i’m insane about rui and that doesn’t change here.)

2- i’ve been debating on whether or not they start filming their shows at the closed off wonder stage actually! they do start off filming in sekai at least. i think both areas have their pros and cons, so they might end up alternating. not sure yet.

3- tsukasa and toya’s relationship have stayed the same, and same with saki. tsukasa’s past has actually stayed practically the same in general. i haven’t changed much about his.

mizurui on the other hand. ohohohohohohoho. fun fact i was brainrotting specifically about swap au mizurui a lot a while ago. bc this au co exists with wxs-ified n25. dont look at the old tag i had for them please. i want to fix them cause i have more stuff i want to add and like. do it better. but i haven’t gotten around to it. all you need to know is n25 now does theater shows together instead. yahoo. anyway i think about swap au mizurui a lot. because. augh. their relationship has stayed very similar to canon, being lonely outcasts who found each other on that rooftop, but it makes me ill bc. rui introduces mizuki to theater and shows. he might not do them anymore but he sometimes talks about them with mizuki and mizuki can see the love he had for them and they get curious. and they give it a try and find so much joy into doing shows and being able to express themselves on stage with less judgement while they act and finding people who DO accept them and while they’re not able to stay long it gives them hope, that there are people who will accept them as they are, and if mizuki’s lucky they won’t even lose them. like. rui who was so hurt by theater and things that happened with it and mizuki who finds so much comfort and hope in it. are you hearing me.

4- through the power of luck none of them really get discovered. i think the one thats the most likely to be recognized is tsukasa though, maybe with saki or toya stumbling upon one of their videos.

About to go insane about this anyways I absolutely adore Ruth and Thatcher's dynamics in this, especially in the way of gender roles and how they both kinda break out of them, especially with thatcher being the emotional one and ruth being the logical one. Ruth somewhat reminds me of my friend in the way that everything in our education system has to be fought for by girls mostly because the system here is very patriarchal and traditional, though that is changing luckily! Thatcher seems to have some sort of innate instinct when it comes to alternates, especially after living around one for so long. He distrusts O'Brien, he immediately feels off about a child from a photo, I think that's honestly very cool!! I also really enjoy Mark's whole relationship with his scars and how the fact that they're there reminds him of what happened, maybe I'm projecting but it seems to feel nice that theres some sort of evidence of his suffering, that he hasn't suffered substantially enough to be taken seriously. That his scars leave no choice but to be taken seriously, if that makes sense. I also love how understandable Ruth's frustrations are, I felt like I was able to connect to her as a character a ton, especially as a trans guy. The feeling of always being cast aside, and the resentment that comes with that. It doesn't make her seem bitchy, honestly it makes her so much more understandable and better as a character, and I adore her for that. She's definitely one of my favourite characters now. Also learning about O'Brien enjoying cats is very fun. Like he's actually just a silly on the inside. He's just like me fr (I stopped breathing when my friend's cat curled up next to me and started purring.) Very excited to see Adam and Jonah's relationship and just Adam in general! /pos /gen Also I think you asked this before but my favourite part was probably Ruth in this chapter along with Old Rugged Cross and Mark's backstory, and his friendship with Cesar. Co dependent friendships my beloved. -Emotionally deranged anon :3 (Also sorry for not asking anything I just wanted to analyse this chapter cuz I don't have anyone else to analyse it to!! I am so normal about this book /pos /gen)

I'm really, really glad you enjoyed Ruth and Thatcher's dynamic in the recent chapter! I love that the 2 of them are so different from each other and yet are very close regardless. Thatcher being very emotionally invested whilst Ruth is more logical and direct in her approach to things was a lot of fun to write - I really wanted to reinforce that Ruth is still in that mentor position despite Thatcher's recent promotion to Lieutenant to add to that friction between them with Ruth being resentful of him. I'm glad she didn't come across as 'bitchy' or anything - that's always a concern considering how fandom tends to treat or perceive women characters, especially flawed ones. So yeah, it's really cool that she's become one of your favourite characters in the AU! She's definitely one of my faves, too! :D

Yeah, O'Brien loves his cats a lot. Earth isn't so bad sometimes - he has nothing against animals, only humans and even then some humans get a pass lol. It's a little complicated like that khsdbdf

Jonah and Adam together won't be appearing for a little while yet - we've got a whole bunch of stuff to get through with Mark and alt!Cesar first - but I'm looking forward to it too! They have an interesting dynamic and it will be fun to show Adam's slow decline into behaving more like an alternate as time passes and how their bond deteriorates and yet doesn't fall apart completely.

I'm glad you got to enjoy some nice food, time with friends, and dressing up! Also, it sounds like you're having a ton of fun creating recently! I am as well, but it's slow going as I'm working on a multi-chap that's very demanding about where and what is supposed to happen (I did this to myself but the results are fantastic!)

"Four Keys" sounds like it has great potential as a title! I like it! I also love the Russian accent. the character is giving slight Captain America vibes, but only for backstory, and I love the concept so much!

As for a irrational fear..... ma am I bad at those I rationalize anything so... maybe large empty spaces? Usually those are indicative of a boss fight in his mind, so just having one that isn't hiding some threat throws him way off. He's also insanely wary of any room with a tiled floor. Because >:)

I also love him and Wind! The fact that they're both on the younger side here but also both accustomed to being the person others look to gives great opportunities for them to bond and interact. Legend has a lot of experience to share but he's also not up on a pedestal like Time or Warriors is, so there's more opportunity for direct communication and less a need to impress. (I actually just finished writing something with them, as it happens!)

I'm honestly not the best baker in the world, or cook in general (I'm still building up my recipe book after leaving my parent's house) but I can share my mum's bread recipe! It's very good, for every day, or to make into rolls for the holidays and with nice meals!

Recipe makes 4 large loaves btw

Dissolve 2 packages of dried yeast into 4 cups of warm water.

In a separate bowl, mix 1/2 cup soft butter with 1/2 cup of honey (you can also add 1/4 cup of molasses for super dense rolls/loaves).

Once the honey-butter is combined, add the yeast water to the bowl

Scoop in 6 cups of whole wheat flour + 4 cups white flour.

Mix, knead, and set into greased bread-pans, or roll into balls on a cookie sheet.

Bake loaves for 35-40 min at 375 F, or rolls for 10-15 min at the same.

After you remove it from the oven, brush generously with butter before they cool, for extra flavor and to preserve moistness.

Hope this one makes you happy! It's great to use in sandwiches, serve with soup, or eat with jam, or alone!

im very attached to this little au, its so sweet and gentle and funny. Sometimes we just need a little bit of fluff in the mix to keep us going (shocking words coming from me, lord of angst /lh)

I ramble for too long about my art (The post)

Thanks again to Nunki and Nov so much for pulling me out of art block 😭💕 I had so much fun drawing all of this and experimenting with poses and colors, etc. that I wouldn't have tried before this!! i'm so sorry this took like 2 months to finish there was lots of stuff going on but I finally finished it and i'm very happy how it all turned out. I made this post just to go through my thought process LMAO

DAY 1: Early SMP Days

This one was inspired by the "he asked for no pickles" meme and how in an early dsmp stream c!dream (in full enchanted netherite armor) asks c!george (half iron/diamond armor) to protect him with a crossbow while they go to l'manburg

At first this one was gonna be a quick drawing but then i got too invested into drawing the armor that it got out of hand and suddenly i had spent 2 days on that 💀

Also all the other drawings were gonna be like this one, a bit simple than what i usually do, but i got too invested x2 and ended up rendering(?) more the rest of drawings

C!dream is c!george's baby, like the cc's dynamic 👍

DAY 2: Objects of Affection

THE SHIELD DEMONS GOT ME 👹👹👹👹 also c!gnf keeps the mask even though it's a bit broken :3

C!gnf is a bit dirty because he doesn't shower, also he sleeps on the grass sometimes, he doesn't get sunburnt because XD protects him from that, also c!sapnap is the one that finds him like that and brings him back to kinoko

I think this is the drawing with most layers only because it was for setting the lighting

This one set the bar of how many details can i put on the next drawings haha got too silly and flew too close to the sun

DAY 3: Worship/Devotion

Inspired by religious imagery in renaissance paintings, they're very pretty and detailed and ohgggg i thought that aesthetic fit XDNF's dynamic ^_^

When I finished the drawing i added a canvas texture so it looked like the mentioned paintings' texture

The pose was so complicated but thankfully i hid all the weird anatomy under capes and hair(?) 🤭 and I have a mirror right next to my computer so i used myself as reference for the hands

The halo around c!gnf's head could be a reference to the headcanon of georgeeeHD existing and being another dsmp deity or also hinting at george's "destroying the smp" stream and how powerful and crazy insane he is!!! also the reflection of XD's halos on his eyes, they worship each other i think, xdnf makes my tummy hurt /pos

DAY 4: Visions/Dreams

Inspired by my weirdcore demons :3 i love that aesthetic so much

I did the error pop up on this custom generator!!

Saved a lot of time by making c!dream faceless since it would be covered by the pop up anyway, but it can also be symbolism for c!gnf not remembering his face or something crazy

I again used myself as reference for the hands i'm so cool and epic

Also I used a tutorial on how to make the vhs effect/chromatic aberration on paint tool sai and added grainy texture on the background for more spice :3

DAY 5: Reunion/Post-Nuke

I reused an old sketch of c!dnf side profile for this one, hashtag work smart not hard 😎 except i polished it and changed some stuff and now it looks way better than the old version

The concept was happy reunion, they're happy to see each other!! c!dnf good ending, i say in tears.

I had so much fun drawing the blood on the bandages and c!dream's scars, please zoom and admire them, it took so long,,,,

DAY 6: Roleswap

My demons..... my beloved rs au..... the posts i made some while ago were based on this drawing, i have a tag on my blog now for that au

RS!dnf wear matching chains!! also the concept for this drawing was that someone interrupted their make out session :3

Symbolism moment!! I like to draw characters with nail polish of the color it represents them, in this case green for dream and blue for george, but for this au, their colors are swapped: green for george and blue for dream, it symbolizes how their roles (king/knight) on that story are different and don't match with the canon. storywise, they're so in love they wanted to keep each other on themselves somehow so they exchanged nail polish colors

DAY 7: CC Roleplay/Cosplay

Sisyphus would be proud of me (<- almost gave up before drawing this), unironically i got demotivated when i finished day 6 so i took a break and then i went insane with this one

The concept was c!dnfies wearing cc!dnf outfits, dream specifically has so many outfit options but I ended up choosing the famous "dteam in madrid" outfit plus a cat beanie, and I couldn't find a fortnite jesus poster for george's shirt so i just found a silly cat pic and yeah ^_^

Unrelated to your tfbw au I just consumed and not a question but I find myself saying “woza” because of you /pos and I just think you should know that your writing has that kind of influence (I doubt I’m the only one experiencing this kind of Ninafication).

re: the specific weird colloquialisms i created in my style fanfics though. it really means a lot to me that you guys enjoyed stuff like the share chair or stan calling kyle kyle pile in pep or kyle calling stan stan the man w/ the plan, me making weird side characters like pep corner store guy raj as our narrator, or even just smile pendejo or i hope you heal because??? that was all stuff that i invented within the context of my ncuniverses and don't exist in the sp universe at all?

which is not to say i created them thoughtlessly or haphazardly, quite the opposite actually! i created them very consciously around how i think my styles would address each other, cute teenage boy things, their little inside jokes, style signing when stan is depressed etc. but the fact that that resonated with you guys enough and made enough sense in my fanfictions that you don't mind that i cobbled them into the canon and actually enjoy them enough to use them!!! AAAAA!!!

i'm sorry you got ninaficated, darling, but i am so glad you did. thank you for enjoying my content. recently, i've been feeling a lot of imposter syndrome over it again and wondering if i'm just kind of yelling into the void, posting content that people don't care about. i worry about my cadence in my posts, if they seem to be written poorly, if i'm clogging your dash with my nonsense...but this is very reassuring. i am glad you guys still care about my stuff even though it's been forever, i try to keep it really fun and interesting on here and shift gears a lot through my posts to keep your brains working.
