Ok, since there's soooo much. I'll do it by years and link the other.

See Fall 2019 before reading this one (X)

As I did in the other, I'll link posts that explains certain piece of Kaylor Lore so you are able to better understand certain Koincidences. So if there's an (X) beside something, it's to give more context and info.

Here's the list of every Koincidences that happened in 2020.

January 1st:

Karlie does a 2019 recap video on Klossy and says something really inchteresting about her second wedding:

Miss Americana is out.

Karlie is credited in the movie. There's a scene where you see a glimpse of her at the AMAs red carpet.

But most importantly... the Call It What You Want scene:

Soooo much to unpack on that scene.

Some say that with the reflections on the guitar, you see a woman. But that's not the most important thing.

It's not Taylor, it's Karlie.

February 12:

The 7th episode of "Wakana's Talk Garden" has been uploaded! Thank you for sending me your "graduation memories"~(((o(*ﾟ▽ﾟ*)o))) Maybe the topic was a bit tricky this time so there weren't a lot of submissions🤣 But I definitely related to a lot of your stories about things that you want to graduate from and finally leave behind 😭✨ (I certainly want to get rid of my late-night cravings for Korean food)

By the way, I was surprised that I couldn't recall which song our choir was singing at one of my graduation ceremonies even though I was sure that I would remember such a detail. I vividly remember singing at the graduation ceremony as a member of my junior high school choir. I had a pretty loud voice but most of the other members were rather quiet so I would always hide somewhere in the back because otherwise I would stand out too much with my singing😂 (Sorry teacher, please forgive the antics of an adolescent). However, back then there was a boy in our local boys' and girls' choir and he would always make sure to sing with a loud and firm voice. I looked up to him with great respect and thought he was incredibly courageous, he honestly was my hero✨😂 (I was still hiding in the back but he encouraged me to sing with all my might) All the parents mentioned that they were amazed by how well our voices could be heard (*´-`) Despite all of that, I totally forgot what song it was 🤣🤣 That's the most important part! ! *laughs* Oh well, that's how life is...(I'll ask a friend next time💌)

Before I read all of your graduation stories , I went on a tangent about Baskin-Robins ice cream. It went on for quite some time so please be prepared! ! 😂 It was about my favourite chocolate chip ice cream which I had to get as soon as it came out! ♡ it was my first time in years to eat this flavour ♡ (If you add your favourite ice cream flavour in the Baskin-Robins app, you'll receive a notification when it's released). I also tried the newly released matcha brownie flavour 🍨 It was so delicious! 😳 But for some reason...I can't really recommend this particular combination of flavours🤣 It’s better to eat them individually!!👍

Well, the next talk theme is... there will be NO talk theme! 😂 I feel like everyone was having a hard time thinking of stories for the talk themes🥺 I didn't intend to inconvenience anyone...😇Please forgive me...😇 So next time, just throw some random messages at me! The title of my first tour after my solo debut was ``VOICE'', it was about having my “voice” heard and expressing my “voice”. Back then, there were so many things that felt new to me, and I'm sure it was the same for all of you. Five years have passed since then and I have come across several new "voices" within me. New thoughts and feelings were born within my heart and expressed through my "voice". And of course I've been supported by the voices of encouragement from many people throughout all these years. For these reasons, I decided to name the live The “VOICE” Stories, I want to create an environment for people to hear my new “VOICE”. And at some point, Chimney breaks.

But Eddie doesn't think that's possible, because this isn't some sci-fi or fantasy movie. Right?

June Update!

Apparently I forgot to actually POST this update, but! I did finish most of my misc code cleanup mentioned last month, and also finished fixing up the quest log to reflect the new approach I decided on for character quests (multiple shorter tests that can be completed independently vs one giant hyper-complicated quest for each character that needs intricate, immaculately managed deadlines and keeps breaking if I forget to add new steps properly). My next step is to “stub out” the other planned quests, greatly simplifying the quest implementation work that will need to be done during the upcoming main story quest implementation stage.

I’m feeling good about the progress of late! Hoping to do a big chunk of Wishbone work again this on Sunday. I would say “Saturday too”, BUT! It is my 10 year anniversary with Wishbone’s main writer, @kwillow, this month and we want to take a nice day out away from our computers. :)

The list of things left to do, other than story quest implementation, grows shorter by the week! It will be really nice to ONLY focus on that and not have a zillion other code things and features on my to do list distracting me. For a long time Wishbone was just a big vague cloud of tasks scattered in an organized-disorganized manner over various to do lists and technical documents, but the list of tasks left to do is getting narrower and the list of documents I can put in my “COMPLETE, DON’T HAVE TO THINK ABOUT THIS AGAIN” pile is growing. Feels good.

Fannish Year Review - 2023

1. your main fandom of the year: Star Wars -- after like three years of feeling way-too-sensitive about the series, I decided to take that whole Marie Kondo approach to fandom: keep what brings you joy and throw the rest into an active volcano (or...something like that. It's been a minute since I read The Life-Changing Magic of Tidying Up, but I'm sure that's an accurate synopsis that Marie would be totally fine with on her book's dust jacket). And then I started writing fanfiction, which has been fun.

Though...though...I did revisit The Hunger Games this year and made my bestie into an HG fan, so that series has certainly played a part.

2. have u watched a film this year: I've only been to theaters twice this year -- once for the Return of the Jedi 40th anniversary rerelease, once to see Barbie. I don't think I've watched many new things this year, to be honest. Mainly rewatches.

3. your favorite book this year: Oof, my reading list is embarrassingly short this year. Probably Nine Liars by @maureenjohnsonbooks. It's the 5th book in a YA mystery series and love that entire dang series so much.

4. your favorite album or song this year:

Album: Stick Season by Noah Kahan

Song: Probably "Happier Than Ever" by Billie Eilish, but I'm honestly not certain

5. your favorite tv shows this year: I think I rewatched Severance twice this year, so...Haaaa...

6. your favorite tumblr community this year: Han/Leia, but I also follow some Little Women accounts that I've quite enjoyed.

7. your best new fandom discovery of the year: I did start watching Ted Lasso, but kind of forgot about it, though the show is delightful. I feel like I've been very hyperfocused on Star Wars stuff this year tbh.

8. your biggest fandom disappointment of the year: You know what, I rarely hate on specific ships publicly, but having one of my posts in which I was spitballing a headcanon involving Tarkin and Leia having an absurd rivalry while she was like 16-19 years old that was similar in tone to Jack Donaghy and Kaylie Hooper from 30 Rock (a relationship that is entirely not sexual on account of Kaylie being fifteen when she first pops up on the show) reblogged multiple times with Leia/Tarkin shipping tags might just have been the most disappointing fandom-related thing to happen to me personally this year. I don't even know if this is the type of answer the question was looking for, but uh...it was definitely the most disappointing.

9. your tv/movie boyfriend and/or girlfriend of the year: I'm...not entirely sure how to answer this tbh.

10. your biggest squee moment of the year: I've received a lot of really nice comments on my stories this year, but there have been a handful left where I really felt...seen? if that makes sense. Like, the commenters wrote something where I felt like someone fully understood what I was trying to do, which doesn't always happen, and those have definitely been exciting moments for me.

For Undertale's eighth anniversary (I know I'm a day late I'm so sorry), I want to know what your experiences are with the game. I'll go first.

Undertale came out when I was 10 years old. I didn't know it existed then, but over the next 2 years, I had heard of it from somewhere. However, I also heard of the fandom and how crazy it was so I avoided Undertale like the plague. It was kind of a trend at the time when lots of people talked about Undertale and memed it to death, and I'm not the type to follow along with trends. Besides, I liked... something else at the time.

When the hype died down, I promptly forgot about the game too, but I still remembered Sans. Who would? He's an icon. That was until around 2020 when my sister was religiously watching these Minecraft music videos of certain fan songs, mostly from Five Nights at Freddy's, Bendy and the Ink Machine... and Undertale. I was interested in the Undertale one. Then I started putting more research into the game, and oh my gosh. I was surprised at how GOOD it was.

I fell in (platonic) love with Papyrus instantly. He was my favourite for a while. Just him. I was obsessed with finding out everything about him. I listened to songs, I looked at fanart and fanfics, I wanted to know EVERYTHING about Papyrus. If it weren't for Papyrus, I wouldn't have gotten into Undertale as much as I am now.

I then wondered why Sans was so popular. I looked into him too, and, I kid you not, I cried when I found out what he was going through. He instantly became another favourite, and for a while, I did the exact same thing for him as I did for Papyrus: obsessively find out everything about him. Hyperfixations are crazy.

Anyway, for a while, I was just watching playthroughs and researching the game. I didn't have it myself. I wanted to save up for it on my own. However, after a very bad day at school, my parents surprised me by downloading Undertale onto my Nintendo Switch. I am forever grateful for that.

During my first playthrough, I finally got to know more characters. I already knew about some of them from the comic dubs I watched on YouTube, but I didn't know all their names. I only knew Sans, Papyrus, Toriel, Flowey and Frisk. And then I met the others. The characters are my favourite part of ANYTHING I am interested in, and Undertale is no different. I got attached to all the characters: Undyne, Asgore, Alphys, Mettaton, Napstablook, and the ones I already mentioned. My first playthrough was magical, but it was frustrating at the same time.

Undyne was the hardest for me. I had to RESET because of her because I had no money and no items. And then there was Asgore. Photoshop Flowey was my favourite boss fight, and I loved befriending everyone, especially Undyne. She's really fun.

After I did the True Pacifist Route, I vowed never to reset. However, I... broke that promise. I did another Pacifist Route a few months later, but only because I wanted to fight Photoshop Flowey again. After a few more Pacifists, I stopped for good.

Nowadays, I create my own private stories about what the crew would do on the surface, as well as other AUs and stories I came up with. I still read Undertale comics and look at Undertale-related posts on Tumblr, and despite its flaws, I can see how much the fandom loves the game. I surely do.

Not to sound like a J2 stan, but you are over-generalizing way too much (and misrepresenting information) in your "not just work buddies" post.

That boat trip? Was part of the YANA campaign, so work.

That black and white picture of them eating dinner? Taken during a con and all the other actors were there as well (you can even see Timothy Omundson in the picture). So again, work.

Those 10 year challenge pictures of them out eating dinner? Taken in Vancouver, where they worked. Most likely after work was done for the day.

But they're still just work friends and not comparable to my real friends.

And the SPN actors used to spend even more time working together than I do with my colleagues. It's not surprising or unusual at all that they would also spend a lot of time going out to eat or knowing each others' families if they're constantly stuck together like that.

And it's very telling that now that they're not filming/working together anymore, there's even less evidence (of any) of them hanging out with each other, except during con weekends (... work). And even then, from what we know, Jensen went out with only Jared (+ Clif) for some of these, with only Danneel and a friend from New Orleans for another one, and all of J2M together (plus Clif) for another two now. So Jensen and Misha do not even use the con weekends to spend time with each other alone. And the rest of the time they're usually pretty busy with work and their own families and geographically far apart, so no private hanging out there either (highly unlikely at least). Cockles is nice and all, but I prefer to stay realistic and there'a nothing wrong with them being work buddies.

Man, I don't know what post you're talking about, anon-- but by that logic, I'll have to go tell all my friends that they're not REALLY my friends.

Maria and Cathy, who I met at work-- who both attended my wedding, who come over to my house often to eat dinner and hang out ... we don't have any pictures posted to social media together, so I guess they're just my "work friends".

Stephanie, who I met randomly when getting a pedicure ... we go out to lunch together all the time; but again ... no pictures on Twitter or Instagram, so I'll have to let her know that she'll have to stay my "pedicure friend" and nothing more.

God-- and Audrey, the girl who I considered to be my best friend for the last 25 years! We originally met when we were nextdoor neighbors as kids. That is when we got to hang out the most I guess. But she lives in a different state now and has for many years and we don't get to see each other very often at all. And even though I was able to visit her just yesterday, we spent so much time talking and laughing and hanging out, we completely forgot to take pictures together, so I can't PROVE my friendship of over two decades to you, therefore, I guess that friendship is completely invalidated.

Sorry, Audrey. You're just my "childhood neighbor friend".

Damn ... and I guess this means I need to apply this to my husband too. He's just my "marriage friend". We probably only do things together because we're married! And even that, I wouldn't be able to give you very much evidence! Whenever we travel or go out to dinner or celebrate each other's birthdays or our anniversary or even when we get intimate with one another ... we don't photograph it and post it online.

Well shit ... that really sucks. I need to go wake the guy up and let him know that he's just my "marriage friend" and it ain't that deep between us.

Thanks I guess for letting me know that I've been fooling myself thinking that I have real friends and relationships, or any kind of social life at all.

it's still insane to me that i've been by your side for so long because so many people get married and divorced with the span of ~10 years... let alone meeting on a blogging platform states away from each other. but we were the highschool sweethearts that ended up being soulmates and we made it work despite the distance and the hardships. that's crazy to me. i never thought that would happen to me growing up. i'm so happy and lucky to be your life partner and best friend

we've certainly had our disagreements and fights but i'm serious when i say i wouldn't change a thing about you or hope for someone different to take your place. i don't even think someone could be able to match up to your sense of humor or the way the bridge of your nose scrunches up when you smile or your natural bourbon-woodfire-cedar smell. the way you still find ways to show me that you love/care for me the same when you can't express it. the way that you can wrap your arms fully around me, and the way we're so similar but brought up in such different ways in such different places

you've taught me so many things about the world and myself that i would've never had the opportunity to learn if it was anyone but you. you're just so fucking awesome to me and i can't say it enough so i hope that holds as much weight as i want it to in this little space. people say that you shouldn't let your relationship define you or your life and i don't, but i've loved you for so long that i can't see my life without you, and i hope i never do unless mine or your natural time comes. i'll still love you beyond that time, forever. happy 9 years here's to many more FREAK

Yesterday, Alan Sparhawk of Low let people know that his wife and the other half of Low, Mimi Parker, passed away from ovarian cancer. I already shared some songs and wrote very briefly about it, but that’s all I’m doing today, too. Not much writing; I’m not sure how to sum up my favourite band or my feelings about them. I wrote about their last three records at Dusted (and that tag will also show you how prominent they were in my last couple of year roundups), but today, I’m just going to mostly post some of my favourite Mimi songs/performances. She will be missed, so much and by so many.

After all that, I made a post for our 10th anniversary earlier and forgot for a bit to put it here as well! Here’s all the pictures, and here’s what I said:

I had a bunch of crap here about my tough weekend. And here's the thing: none of that matters. In the 10 years to the day since we got married in NYC if we've learned anything about each other and ourselves it's that the formality of the specific anniversary day, the idea that this one in particular needs to be perfect, just doesn't matter to either of us and definitely not us together. Neither of us has unrealistic expectations of the other, and both of us care more about the love and respect and communication between us than if we do a fancy thing on a fancy date. It's been true ever since the day MORE than 10 years ago that I was sitting nervously on a plane down to Florida, going to meet for the first time this person that I already thought might be my girlfriend, or something more. Did I tell you guys that like a week or two into talking I told my mom is suspected that just maybe we'd get married some day? I had previously not cared whether or not I got married. And then we did meet, and within maybe an hour or two it was just... oh, there you are. That's what my life is now. No money, no idea how immigration worked, still getting to know each other, and still. And now for 10 years we've given each other the biggest, best thing we could: we get to live together every day and hold the things we need to hold together, even when it's tough, and deal with our idiot cat, and have so many bits of private vocabulary and injokes, and try to keep the apartment running, and spend hours talking about everything and anything with each other, and being quiet and together in the same room, and nap together, and have dumb fights that seem to always wind up with more love and understanding between us. 10 years of actual, imperfect wedded bliss that I wouldn't trade for anything. Thank you for everything you do and are and for being the most perfect partner I could have. And for taking these pictures.

It’s imagery of someone dying and someone being left behind to live. Eventually that second person dies, and ends up in the same place in the universe as the first person. It’s not a pessimistic song. It’s two people talking under the assumption that they’ll both live forever – I guess that’s what it is.

We were having kids for the first time around that time. I had a naive desire to ramp up my grappling with the universe. My #1 post of 2022

The thing I’ve been sitting on for weeks now until I can talk about it finally officially happened yesterday. After more than 8 years at my current job, which started out very good (good enough that Anaïs got a job there too) and got very bad (bad enough that last November they laid off 10% of our department at the end of a very successful year for no good reason, including Anaïs), I wound up looking around and seeing a position that looked promising elsewhere, one looking for fairly specific and I’m guessing relatively rare experience I happen to have.

And then I found out in my first interview for it that it’s also one with a much bigger salary than I would have guessed, big enough that Anaïs (who was already in school to become a relational psychotherapist, but it’ll be a few years before she’s set up with that) won’t have to look for another job until she’s done school and ready to start her practice. And after being offered the job and signing the employment agreement a few weeks ago and then sitting in limbo with the background check in progress, yesterday I was officially cleared and gave official notice at my soon-to-be-old job. Which I was dreading doing but actually went pretty well.

Now I just have to finish up my last round of publications at my old job and move on to one that I’m very excited about. I am sure it will be a job with issues like any other, but I have reason to be cautiously optimistic that in addition to everything else it will be a lot less stressful than the last one eventually got. And my new boss even told me when we were figuring out the start date he’d rather have me take a week if I need (I do) and come into the new position more refreshed.

The whole thing on the one hand has happened quite fast but on the other has felt like it’s been something I’ve been working on for years, and I still can’t quite believe that within days of me sending in my resume they wanted to interview me and within days of finishing interviews they offered me it and the whole time everyone involved acted like they wanted me there enough they kept acting kind of worried I’d get a better offer elsewhere (I might... have worth? believe me, I have been talking to my therapist about it). I’m very happy about it and last night was the first time in a while I fell asleep without worrying about one part of the process or another. Please clap.

dean's coworkers vs the heteronormative agenda by cowboydeanwinchester T, 4,106

Premise (from ao3): Dean started working at a local auto repair shop in Lebanon, Kansas about a year ago. His coworkers don't know much about him. Except that he has a wife. Or maybe he doesn't. But he has a kid. Who is either a toddler or a high schooler. Who is either named Jack or Sammy. He also might have a best friend named Cas, but that also might be his wife.

Truth is nobody knows what to make of Dean. In universe, where nobody dies and Cas and Dean get domestic and Dean doesn't realize the mental hoola-hoops he's causing his coworkers to work through.

My recommendation: This outsider POV has a really fun look at Dean and Cas's relationship and centers around their anniversary. A nice quick read if you're looking for something light.

Premise: Dean and Cas get married, but things don't go exactly as planned.

My recommendation: Some angst stemming from a vital misunderstanding, but at the core a very romantic story with a great resolution.

Broadway Musical by Griftings M (very light), 12,453

Premise: AU where Sam stays at Stanford, Dean and Jo are destined to bear two sons to become the vessels. The angels try and fail to set them up, so Castiel decides to go to Earth to get them together himself.

My recommendation: A classic comedy full of romantic hijinks.

My recommendation: Super cute baby Jack fic (part of a series).

Premise: Dean and Cas are retired and living together. One day Cas asks to Dean to marry him (just as friends) and Dean says yes because he can't think of a reason not to.

My recommendation: Simple, sweet, domestic.

Premise: With Cas back from the Empty, Dean is eager to share his feelings, but Cas doesn’t believe him. Dean will do anything to convince him.

My recommendation: This has the tag "Dean being a simp" which I think sums it up nicely lol. Just Dean doing everything in his power to woo a disbelieving Cas. Very cute with minimal angst.

A Hero of His Own Story by ioascc E, 26,779

Premise: A canonverse au of sorts on one of Chuck's other versions of Earth where Dean is not the righteous man, but ends up meeting Castiel anyway who joins him and Sam on hunts.

Public Domain Day 2022

OMG forgot about Public Domain Day! Happy Public Domain Day 22 (2 days late)! Some really good stuff this year including the original Winnie the Pooh book, The Sun Also Rises, Bambi, and a ton of other works! As the years go by we get more and more sound recordings and films since their preservation obviously increased over the years. While only a few hundred thousand go into the public domain this year, that number will certainly go into the millions in a few years time. We're also nearing the talkie era and next year The Jazz Singer will be PD with a deluge of sound films to follow. Remember once a work is in the public domain you can do pretty much anything with it, so go ahead, get creative!
