Danny falls through a portal to the DC world from a natural portal that opened up while he was in mid fight with Skulker a fight that began at Vlads where the creep put a collar on Danny that kept him in ghost form, Vlad thought he’d force Danny to reveal his secret to his parents by taking away his human form. Looking around he’s in a dark city with dark smog colored skies. Unfortunately he’s stuck here as the portal closed leaving him trapped. He tried to find help but no one can see him in his ghost form. He starts tailing the vigilantes of this world and eventually follows one onto this space station through this tube (possessing inanimate objects sure comes in handy). He wasn’t expecting for the random British guy in a trench coat to see him.

Just watched TOS's episode Journey to Babel and there was a moment that had me giggling.

Around 5 minutes in, when Jim is giving Sarek a tour and Spock is not-so-inconspicuously sulking in the foreground with Amanda, Sarek says 'My wife, attend.' which we can presume is a Vulcan thing, probably a nice and polite way of reminding others who your mate is without all of the pre-Surak stabby-ness.

And then not even ten seconds later, when Spock turns to leave, Jim turns to him and says 'Mr. Spock, a moment if you please?'

And I can't help but see the little parallel. Its like Kirk felt the need to also show the room who his boyfriend is but copying Sarek, who Kirk only learned two minutes ago was Spock's dad, would have been a bit too cheeky. First meeting with the in-laws and all that.

Plus Jim calls Spock over to explain the Enterprise's computers which Sarek does not need to know about. Almost as if Jim had to come up with a reason on the spot to explain away why he just called Spock over like Sarek did with Amanda.

Double plus, Sarek and Amanda are Vulcan kissing the entire agonising trip Spock takes to walk over to Jim. Like, not a light brush of the fingers, those babies are firmly pressed and not budging. And they don't stop until Sarek has insulted Spock and sent him away. Its more a makeout session than a kiss.

So, anyway, Jim calls Spock over both because he's maybe a little intimidated by Sarek and wants his best friend/boyfriend to support him and also because, no matter the species, men behave similarly when it comes to certain things like mates and Jim was not about to be shown up on his own ship.

Esp if under the guise of Turaga Dume he had convinced the Toa to help in small, subtle steps that seemed logical at first ("metru nui is too dangerous atm for matoran, they need to be gathered together" "toa lhikan was seen in this place, go eradicate the threats to find him") that are all individual pieces of his plot

Idk Edred thinking he defeated The Evil™️ so easily and without much fanfare gives weight to the idea that The Evil™️ and this endless cycle of reincarnation is DESIGNED to be un-winnable.

Cuz what happens AFTER the warriors defeat The Evil™️ every cycle? Do they just….live a few more years? Because I doubt they give their vessels back their lives which may be why Edred wanted to prolong fixing Copernicus?

Because though I agree Dimitri is who is making it difficult for Edred to remember certain things like his past life w Melinda and certain information about their mission, it’s still doubtlessly EDRED at the helm.

It’s EDRED who considers Emma to be preventing him from being with Melinda. Like Mel, he tells Winston that Emma’s BODY “isn’t his anymore” —- if the warriors are only around long enough to defeat The Evil™️ every century or so, why would both Melinda and Edred be so cruel to Emma and Winston? Shouldn’t quasi immortal HEROES be more forgiving and generous to the vessels they inhabit? They’ll see each other again in a generation, won’t they?

Again, something about the reincarnation just isn’t right.

To me, it makes me suspect that the warriors just..:LIVE in these bodies they steal for a long while until their next death and rebirth. There’s no URGENCY to Edred wanting to defeat the Evil™️, no moment where he laments that his time w Melinda is brief this time around, nothing.

Because he’s still gonna be with Melinda provided he can properly expel Emma and have poor Winston fuck off. That’s why he’s not INTERESTED in helping Emma, like Winston asks him to here.

He’s interested in helping MELINDA. Because as soon as he does that, he gets to be with her for a few years, regardless if they have to be fighting The Evil™️ or not. It’s a…selfish incentive for the heroes to have. I think it’s MEANT to be selfish.

Emma, like Winston, points it out here that Edred left her to the wolves (haha) at the ship but is suddenly very caring now that Melinda is more prominent.

It’s one of the many ways they’ve shown to be out of touch, on top of not caring about innocent people they hurt and collateral damage, because they have the excuse of THE GREATER GOOD to act so recklessly and selfishly if all they want in return is to be together for a short while until the next cycle. Without caring whatsoever as to WHY the Evil™️ keeps coming back.

That’s also why Melinda is upset at Emma, she forced Melinda to confront Truama that she probably just represses between defeated the next Evil™️ and being the Edred. Again, I thinks the warriors are being encouraged to be so tunnel visioned about this.

Idk if any of this made sense but that’s why I think Edred presumably being so sure he Defeated The Evil™️ was so anticlimactic.

i have a room in wobbledogs exclusively for teeth. whenever dogs drop their baby teeth i send the teeth down the chute to to the teeth room. it's because they have a potential effect on dogs when eaten (shifts their hue toward white and increases their glow) that is cool but not quite desirable for every dog out there, and because teeth are so small, they get easily lost in nooks of rooms and also get eaten by dogs you didn't want to eat them, and when you have a dog you want to make eat teeth it's sometimes a pain to find enough. someday i will unleash dogs in here to eat teeth

#talks #i have another empty room that is just a garbage rerouting room. chutes from rooms that dogs are in are connected to it and i dump all the #dog waste down those chutes into the garbage room. then from the garbage room there are two chutes. one sends #waste that increases mutation chances when eaten to a room full of dogs i force to eat sludge. the other is the #teeth room. #i used to have a dog sludge room chute and a tooth room chute in all my dog rooms but it started cluttering my areas #because i had to build a dog gate around each chute entrance because dogs kept getting sucked into the tunnels. #with multiple entrances the dog gates took up a lot of room space and also there was a higher percent chance #flying dogs could get over the gate and get slurped into a different room anyway. #if this happens id rather they got suucked into the empty garbage room than into a room with other dogs because #im separating them for categorization purposes and they'll get all mixed up otherwise and i may not even #notice. if i see a dog in the empty garbage room i know something is amiss.
