Currently searching for fanfics where Namor is forced to accept that Bucky and Shuri are, and will always be, veryveryclose.  Bucky, meanwhile, is forced to accept that, despite his feelings for the Princess, ultimately he is not the one that is meant to make her happy.

Bonus: also looking for fanfics where Okoye actually grows to respect Agent Ross.  She might even start to feel protective of him.  

Edit: and whenever Attuma shows up, Ross automatically moves to protect Okoye.  It’s a futile gesture, of course, but Okoye has to admit that she is moved by the fact that Ross genuinely cares for her.

hey, hey, so. So. Have you watched the film Sabrina?

I’m just sitting there and going, man we need a Sabrina AU for Kim X Chay. Hear me out. So we don’t need to follow the plot exactly (you know, has been forever in love with Brother A, comes back fabulous from culinary school, Brother A almost breaks up his engagement that involves BUSINESS- then Brother B uses his *wiles* to get her out of the way, no), what we need is a GLOW UP Chay.

So Chay is heartbroken and Porsche now a member  head of the minor family goes- Hey, I can send you far away from the danger, so he throws baby Chay to LA? (Japan? UK? Sweden?) for music education (We don’t need no domestic university, he flexes), and Chay says ok because he is *heartbroken* and he goes and has the time of his life, grows out his hair, makes a banging Youtube channel with great indie music (never showing his face coz he’s decided to be *mysterious*). He comes back after COVID (hey, this explains why he couldn’t come home right?) with a sleek haircut, 4 inches taller, tanned, dressed in Tommy Hilfilger and wearing a pair of Ray Bans (he watched Top Gun: Maverick with his friends, ok), standing at the door of the main compound with his luggage and Kim’s just coming because Kinn called him in for some important family event and when he gets out of the car he wonders who this tall, handsome #SUS guy is doing here standing in front of the main doors until Porsche comes out and tackles him and Kim hears the boy go, “HIA!”

And Kim goes- “Oh.”

Tiny snippet from the upcoming 'Marauder FM' fic for your delectation. This'll probably be the bit I pinch the AO3 summary extract quote from when it's finally ready to post.

“You're listening to Marauder FM! Up to no good since 1971.” Sirius' pre-recorded and sultry tones purred into Remus' headphones.

“The only station where you can wake up with Black...” James began.

“Take me to lunch...” Dorcas' smooth tones followed on.

“And still go home to Potter,” Sirius finished. For a few seconds only the jaunty jingle in the background could be heard before raucous laughter broke out between the three of them.

“Oh god,” James spluttered between gasps. “Please tell me they're not going to use that.”

The jingle faded out and Remus watched as Sirius leaned in slightly towards his microphone. He felt himself instinctively mirroring the action, one elbow on his desk, heart in his throat.

There were two seconds of gut-wrenching silence before -

“Well now,” Sirius ran his fingers through his hair and glanced up through the glass, meeting Remus' eyes with a grin. “This is cosy, isn't it?”

If you haven't guessed, it's a non-magic, multi-chaptered modern AU. Of course.

The station used to do pirate radio back in the 70s, hence Marauder FM.

It'll be multi-chaptered, and 4 decent chunks is the current plan.

Estimated time for me actually finishing this - at this rate, when the cows come home.
