Can you write HDC where Smoke, Kaui Liang and Bihan take care of their girlfriend who's sick? :)
of course! i'm gonna make this for a gender neutral reader tho, since i have a lot of female asks! this might be one of my favorite tropes
cw: fluff!!!, Bi-Han's just a little bit distant, proofread
Tumblr media
ᴛʜᴇ ʟɪɴ ᴋᴜᴇɪ ᴛʀɪᴏ + ᴀ ꜱɪᴄᴋ ᴘᴀʀᴛɴᴇʀ
Tomas...
worries over you. He's by your side, 24/7, even if you insist he'll get sick too. He doesn't care, he wants to make sure your okay. Tomas is at your beck and call, making sure your comfortable. Feeling cold? He's got three blankets picked out for you, take one, take all. Want a warm bath? Already drawn, he's even got some florals, candles, and soaks picked out. Thirsty? He's got some green tea already brewed. Or, if you don't like tea, he has some orange juice, or water if you so choose. Tomas has some soup for you, too. Česnečka, a Czech garlic soup. Something he says will cure anything. He'll even sing you a Czech lullaby every night, if you ask nicely. Eventually, when you recover from your cold, and Tomas inevitably ends up falling ill, you'll be there to give him the same treatment.
Bi-Han...
doesn't quite know what to do. Yes, he's worried, but amongst being the grandmaster of the Lin Kuei, and his cold demeanor, he believes he doesn't have much time to worry over you. It is only when Liu Kang- of all people- pushes him in the right direction. With his trust over the Lin Kuei in his brothers hand, he never leaves your bedside. Unless you ask, of course. Bi-Han is very soft with you, and really, all he wants to do is hold you. He knows he can't, but it's kind of hard to hold himself back! While he doesn't know what to do, he will do anything you ask of him, short of kissing you. Bi-Han, unlike Tomas, has some restraint, and he'd rather have you save your strength, and not have to worry about him after your sick. Ask, and ye shall receive. Down to the very specifics. As many blankets as you want, as many pillows as you want, the exact temperature of your bath, what herbs could make you feel better, how to carry you, etc. And, as much as Bi-Han wants you to rest, ultimately, he'll end up giving into those pretty eyes of yours, and go on a walk with you. It's okay, though, the fresh air will do you some good.
Kuai Liang...
dotes over you. He's afraid of you being sick, even if it is just a common cold. Somehow, seeing you weak and bedridden makes his stomach churn. He's worried sick. It's only when Bi-Han tells Kuai Liang to be with you that he fully devotes himself to your care. He is very physically present, he has to be touching you somewhere. Mainly, he keeps your pinkies linked, even in the slightest. The minute he was freed of his duties he had gotten you everything you could possibly need. He has so many teas chosen for you, and even more spicy foods. He wants to make sure you eat well, but Kuai Liang can't say no to you, so when you ask for a cookie, a slice of cake, something sweet that you maybe should avoid, he's still going to get it for you. He will always carry you to your bath, too. And wash your hair. As long as whatever he's doing helps you feel better in any way, he doesn't mind. And afterwards, he'll put new, clean sheets on your bed. Kuai Liang doesn't give himself much room to fail, much less to fail you. So, when you finally regain your strength, it is almost as if Kuai Liang is a new man, more focused and lethal than ever.

Living in a world as populated as it is by mortals, it is rare to come across a being who is not so. Rarer still is it to come across one who is both mortal and immortal- those who toe the line between Life and Death.
Reapers are abundant but undetected, doing their work for the spirits while hidden in a mortal body. They are bound to no Gods, serving only the lost souls of the land and answering only to the inevitability of Life and Death.
Hylian legends depict Death as a woman clothed in flowing white fabric, serene and tranquil, everlasting and inescapable. Some fear her, some hate her. Most bunch her up with the Goddesses.
She is not a Goddess.
She is… a promise.
And just as they’ve cast Death’s image onto a Goddess that doesn’t exist, they attribute Life’s gifts to Hylia, singing her praise. Hylia, the little sister of the Golden Three, tasked with protecting this world, is not Life.
Life has existed here for far longer than Hylia has. Some say that she was created with the breath of Farore, others speculate that she came before.
People think that Death exists in Life’s shadow, that they are entirely separate from one another. One brings joy, the other brings pain. This is, wholly and entirely, untrue.
For Life and Death wear matching white cloth, and they stand so closely together that they are indistinguishable from each other. One cannot exist without the other. They are… the same, in nature. They are patient. They take nothing more than what they are given; they give nothing more than what they take. It is balanced, in that way.
Everyone must face them, one way or another. Even Gods cannot deny the push and pull of Life and Death.
Although, there are occasions in which they can be swayed. In the case of a young boy who’d met his end during his quest, so beloved by the spirits, Death chose to wait. She did not claim his soul, not yet. She heeded the pleas of the spirits and allowed him to continue on- to finish what he had started. But this was not without a cost.
The boy- only twelve years old- was named Link, and he was not unique. Those who are favored by the spirits and succumb to illness or injury are often granted these second chances. They may never remember that they had died, but they are forever changed.
These people are known as Reapers. They recruited by Death to guide lost spirits to the afterlife. They have heartbeats, they breathe, they require sustenance. Reapers are mortal, normal people.
Until it becomes time to do the reaping, that is.
In order for a Reaper to find and guide spirits, they must use spirit magic. Spirit magic is as potent and variable as any other type of magic, except its power source is distinct: it is fueled by the power of an untethered soul. It comes naturally to Reapers, except in order to use it, they must free their soul.
Reapers have the ability to separate their souls from their bodies, becoming nothing more than a spirit. Once freed, they are immediately pulled to the nearest lost soul and it is their duty to aid them in their journey to the next life. The pull of a Poe is just as potent as the pull of a portal: demanding and unavoidable. Reapers feel it physically.
When their soul is outside of their body, a Reaper will appear comatose to the waking world. Unresponsive and unmoving, almost like they’re asleep. Their hearts still beat, their lungs still breathe. They still live but there’s nothing there. If their body is moved during this time, the Reaper will have a difficult time returning to it. Their survival will depend on whether or not they can find their body.
Link is one of many Reapers that serve under Death, and he is not unhappy. He sees the Threads of Fate that bind all things- the red ones of the living, the black ones of the dead, and the white ones of the immortal- and he takes pride in helping wayward Poes follow these threads home. He… has experience guiding souls, after all.
Link doesn’t remember when exactly he died, but he knows it had to have happened during his quest to rid the Demon King from Princess Zelda’s body. With her spirit by his side, he felt unstoppable. And his new job isn’t much different. He doesn’t feel sadness when he guides a Poe to their next adventure. No, he feels… at peace.
Death is extremely welcoming to him, for she knows that in time, he will return to her. Just as all things do. Link- our Spirit- admires Death. He serves under her but he is not opposed to it. He’s wholly dedicated to his job. He takes pride in it. It doesn’t interfere with his waking life too much and even as he cast on another adventure, it’s not too much to manage. Death treats him well, and he’d never denounce her.
When he’s reaping, he’s making a difference. He’s helping people. Is that not what a hero should strive for?
He’s… home.
Some notes!
• This kind of turned into a post about Reapers specifically and less about Spirit, but ehhh lore is lore
• Spirit and Wind are BEST BUDS. I’ve been referring to them as “the twins” in my head this whole time
• Spirit’s pupils glow when he is looking at the Threads of Fate. He can’t see them all the time, just when he really focuses on them, or else he’d be blinded by all the string everywhere!
• More on that- he doesn’t only see the threads that bind people to each other. He also sees the threads that bind people to objects. Everything has a memory, everything has a story.
• Something about Spirit’s presence is so inherently peaceful. He speaks quietly and clearly, he moves like a whisp, he smiles so gently. He can 100% be a little goblin in his own right, but he can be incredibly comforting when he wants to be.
• He cannot swim. Wind is APPALLED.
• He knows that Time is a God right away. His string is white. He doesn’t tell anyone, though, because it’s not his place. Everyone has their secrets, everyone should have the right to reveal themselves at their own pace.
• He and Wild sure do have a relationship. Yep. Just. The Reaper- the one who is tasked with guiding lost souls. And the literal spirit, actual ghost. Uh huh. They. Um. Yeah, they definitely have a dynamic. (This dynamic is the reason that I was convinced to add Spirit to my Cryptid Chain)
• A spirit is any soul without a body. A Poe specifically refers to a spirit that is lost. Hopeless. One who needs help. Wild is not a Poe. (Kind of)
• Spirit is like Time in the sense that he has not fully ascended, and won’t until his mortal lifespan is over. When he dies, he will continue to be a Reaper, but much more powerful as he will not be bound to a body. But that’s far, far off. He’s twelve, I won’t be cruel to him
• hehehehe
• He’s so incredibly good at playing the pan flute.
• Also this kid’s hilarious without even trying. (Spirit Tracks is the funniest Zelda game of all time)
• NERD. HE LOVES HIS TRAINS. HE IS IN PHYSICAL PAIN THAT NONE OF THE OTHER LINKS EVEN KNOW WHAT A TRAIN IS!!! SEND HELP!!! TELL HIM ABOUT YOUR FAVORITE TRAINS!!! HE MISSES HIS TRAIN!!!
• He has the unique ability to talk to Poes and Spirits directly, so he’s gonna be the best bet when it comes to translating for Wild. If Wild will let him come close, that is.
• “Don’t disturb me guys, I have some reaping to do,” he says, and then takes a nap. The others can’t tell.
• Or, mid battle, the decides they could really use a blast of spirit magic to aid them. So he just. Separates his soul from his body, as one does. Falls limply to the ground as the monsters they were fighting just suddenly all die. What just happened???
• Do monsters have souls? Do they become Poes? Thoughts that keep Spirit up at night.

Hello, a new writing blog with great writing!
How about some NSFW headcanons for the paradise lost demons (whb)? I'm not sure if you write for them since the request rules don't really specify it, so feel free to just ignore this if you don't.
Have a nice day!
Hi Anon !
Yes, I do write for every character from every of the fandoms listed in my request post.
I’m sorry if my headcanons might lack a bit of accuracy or are not as specific as the ones I wrote for the kings, we don’t know much yet about the Paradise lost demons so I’m writing this based of on my opinion, some investigation and the little content we’ve seen in the game so far about them.
Hope you like it and thank you so much for your request♡

Tumblr media
GN!Reader + Reader has a pussy + Slight mentions of She/Her pronouns in Buer’s.
𝗖𝗪: Overstimulation, Edging, Dacryphilia, Shibari, Toys (Vibrators), Praising, Degradation, Blowjobs, Handjobs, Lingerie, Somnophilia.
𝗟𝗨𝗖𝗜𝗙𝗘𝗥
⇒ He's a Top without a doubt, there's no debating in this, he would get mad at you if you dared to suggest the idea of him being a sub.
⇒ Lucifer is actually pretty sweet, yes, he does a lot of questionable things while "pleasuring you" but he never does anything that hurt you too much, you have a safe word and many other ways where you can communicate to him any discomfort you might have and he Iso gives the best aftercare.
⇒ He's into shibari, this mostly because this way he can have you all to his mercy so he can toy with you for hours until your face is covered in tears.
⇒ He's the worst when he overstimulates you or when he edges you, by doing that he forgets any kind of limits you have set for him, you can beg him to stop, he won't, the more you cry, the more he does it. If he is eating your pussy while he aggressively thrusts his fingers in and out and you are sobbing and telling him to stop, he is going to do it faster, harder and way for aggresively.
⇒ There's no such a thing as normal sex with him, he's into a lot of shit, one crazier than the other, and he's also pretty good at analyzing you and he can figure out pretty quickly the things you like, and Lucifer will also be into those things.
⇒ "You say that it's too much ? Well, this cunt tells me overwise, and those beautiful tears all over your face don't seem to be out of pain, so don't lie to me and give me one more
𝗠𝗔𝗥𝗕𝗔𝗦
⇒ Marbas confuses me, he technically cant be freed from his restraints without Lucifers permission because his libido and violence are to dangerous for EVERYONE, but for the sake of this headcanon, lets say that he's not that bad when he's free. (ill include some headcanons where he's tied up tho, thats literally his kink)
⇒ Marbas is a Top, the fact that he's into being tied up does not means he subs, he definitely doesn't.
⇒ He would tie you up if you begged enough or as a punishment, but you better appreciate it, it doesn’t happen as often as you’d think.
⇒ He loves when you use toys on him while hes tied up, specially those wired bullet vibrators, he's soooo into being defenseless in front of you.
⇒ When he's tied up he loves being overstimulated, suck his dick nonstop or furiously rub it it up and down or play with his dick head, the sight of your face covered in his cum makes him go crazy.
⇒ But in spite of this headcanons, he tops, a l w a y s, you can have him tied up and ruining him with a bunch of bullet vibrators attached to his dick, he's dominating you somehow.
⇒ "Do i look that weak to you ? speed up that vibrator right fucking now or else im not fucking you"
𝗠𝗢𝗥𝗔𝗫
⇒ I don’t know why, but he gives switch vibes, but is leaning towards subbing.
⇒ Morax likes to be taken care of but not to the point of being a pillow prince.
⇒ Omg praise him please, he’ll become the whiniest boy out there, tell him how beautiful he is when he cums or how cute his moans are.
⇒ He’ll do anything for you, if you want him to completely submit to you, he will, and if you want him to fuck you senseless and completely rail you, he will, Morax is the definition of being into what you’re into.
⇒ As his kink says, he’s into body modifications, if you have one, he’ll go crazy, and if you don’t, that’s fine for him. But if you wanted to get one, even if it’s temporary, just to please him, you’ll drive him crazy, not because of the modification, but because of the intention.
⇒ “Just tell me, whatever you want me to do, just tell me, I’m yours, every part of me is your property, I’m here to please you and only you”
𝗕𝗨𝗘𝗥
⇒ He’s neither a dom nor a sub, but he’s not a switch, he just likes to feel good and likes to make you feel good, but he tends to get a bit dominant sometimes.
⇒ Wear fluffy lingerie, bonus points if it’s animal themed. (I don’t see him being into pet play tho, but who knows)
⇒ Buer is a box full of surprises, you never know his next move, he can be kissing you in the most romantic way possible, and then suddenly he’s spitting in your mouth.
⇒ Buer has something that makes me believe that he’s into somnophilia, but receiving it, he likes to challenge you to make him cum without waking him up, and the feeling of having his pants wet with his cum makes him go crazy.
⇒ He would love a pillow princess, to just please her and only her for hours, that’s a big fantasy of his.
⇒ “We have all the time in the world, so for this night and every night you want, so let me be the one that makes you feel the best you’ve ever felt”

Ladies and gentlemen, it’s official! I’m writing a musical!
For those of you in the community who have known me for a while, this is nothing new, but I’ve been working on it for quite awhile, so I finally want to unveil what I have so far.
The show is officially called “Tyrant! The Story of Robespierre” or just “Tyrant!” for short, and here’s my first concept for the album cover below!
Tumblr media
As for the actual story and songs, right now I’m planning on having 16 songs per act, and I’ll format the songs I’ve written or am currently in the process of writing!
 Italic = work in progress
Bold = fully written
With that being said, this is the song catalogue and all I’ve gotten done so far!
Act 1:
Tyrant! (Show opener) - immediately after his death
Address for the King - early childhood
Never shall we part - transition from childhood to adulthood, meets Camille
Song addressed to Miss Henriette - young adulthood
And So I Reminisce - trio song for the siblings
He Just Can’t Stop - lawyer career in Arras
Let Us Speak/We Swear - Estates general + tennis court oath
Camille’s Address (Bring It Down) - Storming of the bastille
Hey Ladies! (Theroigne’s song + Women’s March on Versailles)
Bienvenue aux Jacobins - Joins the Jacobin club and meets Danton, gets elected president of the club
Never shall we part (1st reprise) - Camille’s marriage to Lucile
Escape (Louis + Marie flee Paris, Champ de Mars massacre)
There’s Safety Here (Robespierre meets Maurice Duplay, moves into the Duplay house)
This Means War! (Speeches against the war and Brissotins, war gets declared anyways)
The Tuileries Tango (Storming of the Tuileries and overthrow of the monarchy)
Liberté, Egalité, Fraternité For All (Establishment of the republic, Robespierre at his height, his big “I want” song)
Act 2:
Incorruptible (Saint-Just’s debut and Robespierre’s election to the National convention)
So Ends the Reign of Tyranny (Louis’ trial and execution)
Bienvenue aux committee/ Bienvenue le Jacobins (reprise) (Appointment to the CPS)
Choose Your Side/And So I Reminisce (reprise) (Charlotte and Augustine’s fight, fracture in the family, duet with Élèonore, PLATONIC, NOT ROMANTIC)
Principio Ad Finem/ A late night’s walk (“darker” ‘I want’ song, NOT A VILLAIN SONG )
What is he doing? (Camille publishes his paper and says stupid stuff)
Never Shall We Part (2nd and 3rd reprises) (Max and SJ duet, Camille’s denouncement from friends to enemies)
A Meeting/Make Him a Monster (CPS meeting, Thermidorian villain song)
You’re Unwell (Eleonore and SJ duet, Max falls ill/ slowly loosing his sanity)
So Ends the Reign of Tyranny/ Liberté, Egalité, Fraternité for All (reprise) (Arrests and executions of Camille, Danton and their followers, closest thing to a villain song for Robespierre)
This Glorious Day (Festival of the Supreme Being, more Thermidorian conspiring)
Principio Ad Finem (reprise) (Max writes his 8 Thermidor speech)
My Final Bow (8 Thermidor speeches for the convention and the Jacobins)
We Swear/Let Me Speak! (9 Thermidor denouncement and arrest)
Requiem (Hotel De Ville siege, bullet to the jaw, death, 11th hour power ballad)
May You Ne’er Be Forgotten (basically charlotte’s ‘who lives who dies who tells your story’, her 11th hour power ballad, grand finale of the show)
I know that was a lot thrown at y’all, and obviously I’ve still got a long ways to go, but I’ll be working hard at it all summer, and I hope to have at least half of the first act finished by the end of this summer! I’ll keep working on asks too now that my schedule’s freed up, but I thought it’d be a fun announcement to share with all of you for Max’s birthday, and I can’t wait for you to see the rest of it! Love you all! ❤️❤️❤️
-Syd

Do you have a message to those who fight despite being drained and exhausted but feel no hope anymore and the need to just end it to no longer be a burden? Despite doing everything to demand a ceasefire I don't feel alive anymore. I don't know what to do. I don't want to continue living anymore because everyday hurts so much. I'm being eaten by physical pain and chronic illness and I know I should slow down and take a breather but I feel too guilty to do so. I feel like giving up my life
it's going to be okay. it will. i know it's hard to imagine it amongst all the death and suffering, but things will become okay. palestine is so close to being freed, we can all feel it. millions upon millions of people are rallying for a free palestine. the media censors this, but we all know that we were there and that we are on the right side of history. i know it's hard to keep hope but listen, palestinians have never given up hope, and we've been fighting for almost 80 years. algerians fought for 132 years and they are now free. apartheid south africa became free after 46 years. so many people have fought against their oppressors, and now they are free. and so we will be too. from palestine to turtle island to the congo to sudan, to every single person suffering at the hands of oppression, we will be free.
don't worry, you're doing great, and i'm so glad you stand with us 🫶🫶 i hope you are rewarded in this life and in the next.

Kaeya~ The Curse
Synopsis: God!MC brings back a container of cleansing water from the pool they came across on their adventure with Dainsleif in the Chasm. They hoped to give it to Kaeya… But it seems as though they were a little too late to help. Hopefully they can make up for lost time.
⚔️Masterlist⚔️ Gender-neutral, God MC! ~Spoilers for Chasm Interlude Archon Quest after Liyue A/n: Popping into the Genshin fandom with a self-indulgent serving of my favorite Ragbros! 💕 I read a few fanfics about how Kaeya might have had a similar reaction to Dainsleif during the Archon Quest, so I decided to add my own bit to it with a little bit of the SAGAU aspect of MC being their ‘god’.
–Word Count: 2,800–
I had been gone from Mondstadt for too long, I mused as I took in the fresh air around me. Being in the Chasm for weeks on end made me cherish the feeling of the open air in Mondstadt. The free wind was so much less stifling than suppressive rocks.
Still, however grateful I was, one person remained on my mind on my trip home. The cool container that rested within a pouch against my leg reminded me that my mission wasn't over. On my recent adventure into the Chasm with Dainsleif, we found the ruins of an ancient civilization that the Abyss was using for another of their schemes. Their goal was to bring Khaenri’ah back, but we put a stop to their nefarious plot.
While it would have been nice to see the ancient citizens of Khaenri’ah freed from their curse, it would have caused much more suffering and loss than done any actual good. There wasn't a chance that their plans would meet with surefire success, after all. In fact, I—along with Dainsleif—was certain their plan would fail spectacularly. I had Khaenrian friends to protect, and I would never take a chance playing with their lives.
My fingers brushed against the cork of the bottle I carried. I wasn't that powerful, but even I could feel something comforting from the bottle. I couldn't imagine the discomfort and suffering that those cursed had to go through without a hint of relief. By having this water nearby, I hoped that Kaeya might feel some reprieve.
Kaeya never divulged anything about himself to me, out of fear that I was the god from Celestia that sent his nation to ruin. So, I wasn’t entirely sure how Kaeya’s lineage really affected him, but it was better to be safe rather than sorry. Fortunately, each adventure I went on seemed to lead me to more answers that he probably didn't even know himself.
Still, I might have been overthinking things… After all, Kaeya was only a descendant of Khaenri’ah, he wasn’t there when it was destroyed. But that Abyssal scheme was terribly effective—even Dainsleif had to rely on me to resolve the situation. I had to prepare for the worst and hope for the best with Kaeya’s unknown situation.
It was early in the night when I walked through the gates of Mondstadt. Luckily, if all was as well as I hoped, I knew exactly where my friends would be gathered.
I was grateful that, as soon as Dainsleif and I finished our quest, he understood the urgency with which I had to return home and check on my found family.
Opening the door to the Angel’s Share, it was unusually quiet, and my apprehension only grew. My eyebrows furrowed as I noted a few regulars, but there was no bard. There was no exasperated Diluc or rambunctious Kaeya. “Charles,” I asked, walking up to the bar. “What's the lull? Isn't it usually more lively here at night?”
“Your Excellency,” he addressed me formally. “Sorry. You must be looking for Master Diluc. He's visiting Master Jean tonight. You might be able to find him in her office.”
My eyebrows furrowed further. Something was wrong for the alcoholics to be missing and Diluc to be in the Knight's headquarters. I prayed I was jumping to the wrong conclusions… I couldn’t wait for an explanation. “Tell me what happened.”
He let out a brief sigh, his empathetic eyes landing on me. “I heard that Captain Kaeya fell ill. I wish I had more to tell you, but the Knights have been keeping things quiet since. No one really knows what happened yesterday-”
“Yesterday?” Then my suspicions were unfortunately correct. Kaeya was affected by the Abyss’s device, and no one was there with Kaeya to help or understand why he was suffering. Before Charles could give another word, I was flying out of the door. I was thankful the foot traffic was light as I raced up the stairs to get to HQ.
The knights were quick to fling the doors open for me as soon as they recognized my intended path. Nearly crashing into Jean's office door, I flung it open, startling those inside. Jean immediately stood from her chair. “Your Excellency, you're here. There's been a problem-”
“With Kaeya,” I finished for her, my eyes flickering across the faces in the room. There was Jean, Diluc, Barbara, and Amber. They were no doubt all gathered there for the same reasons. But I needed them to cut to the chase. “I heard. Tell me everything.”
Jean gestured for Amber to tell the story from the beginning. Taking her cue without hesitation, Amber walked me through her version of what happened, “I was just returning from my patrol yesterday afternoon when I ran into Captain Kaeya. He looked… bothered; but I didn’t think he was feeling unwell or anything. I was about to ask him about it when he just… Well, I don’t know what really happened. He just looked like he was in so much pain; it was so bad, he looked like he couldn’t breathe and then couldn’t even stand on his feet.”
“We were thrown completely off guard,” Jean commented. Apparently it wasn't the most subtle thing. Many citizens panicked at the sight of the Captain in such agony and went straight to the Knights of Favonius to report the emergency.
Barbara then added anxiously, “We tried our best to help and make it bearable, but nothing we did worked. We spent all night trying everything, well into the morning. Even with my hydro vision, I couldn’t seem to ease his symptoms. Eventually, we had to send for Master Diluc… We thought they might be at odds, but we were sure he might know something to help. I mean, something like that wouldn't just randomly happen, right?”
Of course, she assumed it was some natural affliction. It wasn't poison, and it wasn't something they could heal with their church medicines. They had Kaeya’s situation all wrong, and Diluc didn't seem like he told them a word.
Guilt weighed heavily on my shoulders. I tried to stop the Abyss Order as quickly as I could, but there were too many abyss mages for me to work swiftly and efficiently. Not to mention, Dainsleif was in agony and his friend was dying in front of him. Stopping the Abyss took far too long and drew too much attention to Kaeya. I could only imagine how long of a night it must have been for Kaeya to endure.
But what could Diluc have possibly done to help, anyway? This situation never happened before—and I would be sure it never happened again. None of what happened was precedented. With my gaze flickering to the apparently frustrated red-head, I paused, taking in his appearance. I knew he didn't enjoy working with the Knights of Favonius, but this particular agitation was new. It was time I got his side of the story. “Diluc… What did you-”
“I came to see him as soon as I was informed, and when I got here, they refused to let me in his room,” Diluc hissed, withholding so much wrath that it left me surprised.
Jean sighed, all of them looking awkwardly away from the angered man. She supplied me with an explanation, “At first we thought getting Diluc would be the best response. But… As soon as we had Kaeya inside of headquarters, he started shouting that he was burning. It wasn’t a fever, and he seemed like he wasn’t in his right mind. Knowing vaguely what happened between them, I made the last minute call to keep Diluc out. Your excellency, you have to understand… I did what I thought was best for Kaeya given the circumstances.”
“He could have been dying, and it was ‘for the best’ that I couldn't see him,” Diluc retorted. He didn't need the weak excuses of the Knights of Favonius, he wanted to make sure his brother was okay. He couldn't do that if they restricted him from going as far as the first floor.
“I disapprove of how you made the decision to keep Diluc out after so quickly inviting him to this mess.” I snapped at the group of knights in defense of Diluc. “What happened between them is in the past and had nothing to do with what happened to Kaeya. Diluc,” my steely gaze softened as I met Diluc’s eyes of adoration. Of course, he knew I would understand everything. I would take his side. I offered to him, “Come with me. We're going to go check on Kaeya. I came to help.”
“Thank you.” He didn’t hesitate to follow me out of the quiet room. Everyone else meekly remained where they were for just getting scolded by me. Still, I had trouble waiting for Diluc as I practically rushed to leave Jean’s office.
“Captain! Captain Kaeya, please go back to your room! You're not-” The knight that was chasing Kaeya down the stairs, faltered at seeing me. “You're Excellency! I'm sorry! Captain Kaeya shouldn't have slipped past us! Ah!” The Knight panicked as Kaeya immediately flung his arms around me, his larger frame almost overtaking me. “C- Captain, please, that's their Excellency you just-”
“(Name)!” My eyes widened at hearing Kaeya call my name. Hardly anyone ever used my name. Everyone respected me, feared me, cherished me, adored me. Using my name was disrespectful, something frowned upon. But I loved hearing it from them. I loved when they used my name and not some impersonal title.
“Kaeya,” I replied with his name, in turn, my hands resting on his back.
“It feels nice…” Kaeya muttered, his arms tightened around me, holding me closer. “I felt when you got to Mondstadt. You felt different from usual, but I needed to find you. Please, let me hold you. It doesn't hurt anymore.”
“We're going home, Kaeya,” I hushed, trying to soothe him as best I could. I knew the water I had with me was really what was drawing him to me like this. But for now, I wanted to make up for not being faster. Just like Dainsleif, even Kaeya would need time to recover from the strain his body was put through. “Diluc’s going to take us back to the manor, and we'll take care of you.” Similarly to how his grip tightened around me, I pulled him closer, my fingers sinking into his unkempt hair. “I'm sorry… I'm so sorry.”
He hummed, but he couldn't bring himself to say anything more as he basked in the presence of the cleansing water. Though the effects of what happened lingered in his system, he was feeling better just by being with me. He knew I was his god.
Diluc hesitantly pressed closer, despite the eyes of onlookers that were judging us. “If the manor is where you want to go, I suggest we depart. Kaeya, can you walk?”
Kaeya could—he just bounded down the stairs for me—but he'd never make it as far as Dawn Winery. Awkwardly, I mentioned, “I'm agile, but I'm a bit of a limp noodle when it comes to weights. I'm afraid you'll have to carry him, Diluc. He’s been through a lot.” Reaching for the pouch at my side, I untied the strings and held the bag out to Diluc. “You can hold on to this for now. I have one for you when we get home. It'll help him feel better.”
I didn't explain much just yet as Kaeya was carefully lifted, and he relaxed into Diluc’s arms. No one dared to question or stop me as I left with the two brothers accompanying me. I wasn't necessarily leaving because of the way Diluc had been treated. I was leaving purely because of the confidential matter that only involved the three of us.
Taking us to the teleport point, the journey home was short, and we took our time to get relaxed in Kaeya’s room, where he passed out almost immediately. It was the first time he was almost entirely free of pain since the incident.
“If I may ask,” Diluc started slowly, his hands grazing over the pouch you gave him with the concealed bottle inside. “What exactly is this?”
Diluc knew mostly everything about Kaeya—who he was, where he was from, why he was in Mondstadt. He also knew Kaeya as a brother, which was where we were now. He wanted his brother to be okay and as annoying as usual, not bedridden.
As promised, they deserved answers. So, I began my summarized explanation of events, “I went on a mission recently against the Abyss Order. They… tried to revive Khaenri'ah against my warnings of what would happen. They were determined to cleanse the Khaenrians of their curse. However, all that resulted was suffering. Every living soul with that curse was in unbearable agony. It could have been devastating if I hadn’t gotten there in time.” My downcast eyes landed on the gentle rise and fall of Kaeya’s chest. “Even a nation away, he probably thought he was dying. I could only do my best to fix it as quickly as possible—but I wasn't strong enough to take care of them as fast as I wanted to. Who knows how long Kaeya was suffering because of me…”
“But you took care of them,” Diluc reminded me, knowing I would no sooner fall into self-loathing. “You did good against a powerful enemy. You should be proud. Whatever this water is… you managed to bring it here to help him. Don't think what you did wasn't adequate.”
Pursing my lips together, I knew better than to argue. He would only try to make me take it back. Diluc cared much more than he let on. He wouldn't let me shoulder the guilt. So, rather than dwelling on that, I changed the subject back to the pouch. “I forgot, I brought a bottle for you as well. However, I mean to go back and collect more for you to store in the Winery in case of emergencies like that one.” Taking the pouch back, I opened it, pulling out the glass bottle of cleansing water. “This was in an ancient city. Apparently, it acts as a cleansing water, soothing the effects of the curse. It won't cure him, so it does no good to drink it. But having it near will help.”
“Cleansing water,” Diluc repeated, observing the seemingly normal water that I held. It was strange that Kaeya couldn't even tell what he was attracted to when he found me in HQ. From what Diluc could tell, Kaeya could simply sense the water from that far away. “It's fascinating. I'm sure we'll have to keep a greater supply. I… feel like I should ask how you came to know that this water would help him when it looks and feels like normal water to those without the curse.”
“Because that fountain was where the cursed went to meet a peaceful end,” I replied quietly, avoiding mentioning my travel partner. In truth, I probably wouldn’t have suspected what the effects of this water truly were if not for Dainsleif’s explanation. “It seems sad, but this water is truly the only thing that seems to be able to give some respite.”
Diluc hummed, his eyes now searching Kaeya and wondering when his sad end would come. Luckily, he wouldn't have to suffer so much anymore thanks to my efforts. Diluc watched how I delicately traced Kaeya’s still hands, my eyes overflowing with guilt. “You did your best. I wish you'd be kinder to yourself.”
I hummed, but I didn't agree or disagree with him. “I'm not finished with my mission against the Abyss… but… I'm not leaving Kaeya right now. You can stay too. Mondstadt can do without their Darknight Hero for a while. Kaeya needs us more than they do.” Kaeya deserved to be coddled after his horrible experience. I'd do my damned best to ensure it never happened again.

BG3 fanfic idea:
Modern Character in Faerun fic in which the author self-insert suffers from whatever chronic illnesses and disabilities the author suffers from IRL and Shadowheart inadvertently cures them all the first time she casts Lesser Restoration for something.
It turns out that you weren't that far off all those times you'd joked back on Earth that "God nerfed me by giving me [condition] because he knew I'd be too OP without it."
And all that extra effort you used to have to expend every day just to minimally function? That was like a lifelong intensive weightlifting program for your willpower because you were constantly forcing yourself to do things despite all the pain, fatigue, brain fog, nausea, etc. Once you're freed of the shackles of your chronic illnesses and disabilities, you're able to utilize that power in ways chronically healthy and lifelong abled people could never dream of.
Title idea: "Traded My Spoons For Knives"
Lore caveats: Lesser Restoration canonically cures the conditions diseased, poisoned, paralysis, and blinded. If you're missing body parts and want them back then you'll need to wait for the 7th-level divine magic spell Regenerate, which can't be learned in game because character progression is capped at level 12 but should be achievable fairly quickly in a post-game story because clerics and druids get access to 7th-level spells as soon as they hit level 13. If that causes you to inadvertently regenerate body parts that you didn't want back, the 9th-level spell True Polymorph can permanently (with your consent) change your healthy/whole baseline to something else. You'll need a level 18+ wizard to cast it, which Gale was before the orb since he was an archmage, and it's certainly plausible that removing the orb would allow him to bounce back to his old character level without needing to grind XP to get there.
(Inspired by memories of taking Adderall for the first time. That was a REVELATION, y'all. You mean I wasn't just stupid and lazy this whole time? This is what I can do when my brain actually works right? If my physical disabilities and chronic illnesses could also be cured/treated as instantaneously, I'd be unstoppable.)
(Also, how is it that as soon as I start writing my first attempt at fanfic, I start generating ideas for new fanfics faster than I can even write the ideas down much less ever actually write any of the stories?)

An article in The Washington Free Beacon that drew upon interviews given to Israeli TV by freed hostages has confirmed that ordinary Gazans were deeply involved in the October 7 pogrom and subjected the hostages to cruelty, abuse and starvation.
Nili Margalit recounted how Gazan “civilians, regular people” took her hostage at knifepoint in the October 7 attack. Margalit said a “boy … 17, maybe 18 years old” and an “older man with the knife” broke down the door of her home in Kibbutz Nir Oz and forced her, barefoot and in pyjamas, into a stolen golf cart.
Margalit said she saw a “mob, thousands of people,” including “women and children,” pouring across Israel’s breached border with Gaza less than two miles away.
She saw two boys, one “no more than four or five years old” and the other 15 or 16, riding an all-terrain vehicle that belonged to her father, a cattle breeder who was among those murdered that day. The boys had apparently already made one trip from Nir Oz to Gaza and were returning for another round of carnage.
A number of the freed hostages said they spent part of their captivity in family homes, hospitals and other civilian sites in Gaza where they were locked into rooms, starved and ill-treated.
Mia Schem, who was shot in the arm and abducted from the Supernova music festival, said her captors brought her directly to a hospital in Gaza as she was bleeding to death.
Schem then received no further treatment or even pain medication. She was taken to a private home where a man and his family held her captive with “pure hate,” forbidding her to speak, cry or move. She would go days without receiving food and was never allowed to bathe.
Bad as their conditions were, the hostages’ captors repeatedly told them that their lives would be at risk if they were discovered by ordinary Gazans. The hostages hardly needed any such warning.
Sharon Aloni Cunio recalled how she and her twin three-year-old daughters were mobbed on October 7 as terrorists brought them into Gaza on a tractor from their home in Nir Oz. “People start beating everyone who was sitting on the tractor — just beating us, from all sides. It was horrific,” she said.

On December 26th in the year 1251 Alexander III, the King of Scots, was married to Margaret, the daughter of Henry III, King of England, in York.
Alexander hogs the limelight in posts about Scotland, giving his unfortunate accident and plunging the country into events that put yhe country into crisis for decades afterwards, so let’s tell you a wee bit about Margaret , who was our Queen for over 20 years, yet was only 34 when she died.
The second of five children, the first few years of Margaret’s life were spent quietly in the care of her affectionate and close family. Her first appearance in historical record came when she was three years old and she took part in a royal event in London with her brother, the future Edward I, yep the guy who would go on to inflict those years of strife for us Scots.
Margaret’s paternal aunt, Joan, had been married to King Alexander II of Scotland before she died in 1238 and so, as former brothers-in-law, Henry III and Alexander II had a good relationship and were quite fond of one another. When Alexander II welcomed the birth of a son with his second wife, Marie of Coucy, in September 1241 it was only natural that the possibility of a marriage between the young heir to the Scottish throne and Henry III’s eldest daughter be discussed. Margaret and Alexander III were betrothed when she was just four years old.
Alexander became King of Scotland at the age of seven when his father died in 1249 and Margaret became Queen of Scots at the age of eleven on thios day 1251, when she was officially married Alexander II at York Minster. The marriage was the third youngest of monarchs in the history of the British Isles.
Removed to the harsh climate of Edinburgh and kept quite separate from her husband Margaret became lonely and homesick, writing often to her parents about her poor treatment. This created tension between England and Scotland and it was not until 1255 that this was eventually settled and the young Queen was given an opportunity to reunite with her parents at Wark. The visit vastly improved Margaret’s spirits and she returned to Edinburgh feeling much revived.
In 1257 Margaret and Alexander III were held captive by the powerful Comyn family and it was only through the intervention of Margaret’s father and the regency council that they were freed. They went on to have three children: Margaret and Alexander, died as infants, and David born, 20th March 1272, and died June 1281. David’s unexpected passing left the couple without an heir, which had ramifications that resounded through the years.
Though her life was quiet there is some scandal which remains unresolved to this day. Margaret had in her employ a young courtier – given to her by her brother – who claimed to have killed her uncle, Simon de Montfort, 6th Earl of Leicester. One day, while walking with a group of ladies and courtiers along the River Tay Margaret is said to have become annoyed with the courtier and either pushed, or had him pushed, into the river. Playful laughter quickly turned to shock, however, when the man was swept to his death by the powerful current. Margaret was said to have been saddened by the event but we will never know exactly what part she played and how she truly felt.
Margaret died at the age of thirty-four on 26th February 1275 at Cupar Castle after falling ill while visiting Fife. She is buried at Dunfermline Abbey in Fife.

"I've never expected you to be this strong... Cutie!!"
An explosion, after your Haki was formed, as a Tunnel of fire was formed.
Your Haki was able to break Ace's chains, as he was now free, smiling, holding onto your waist.
"You are also stubborn, I guess I'm not surprised since you've been with my brother most of the day!" As he gripped your waist more, he picked you up in his arms, bridal style, before zooming off the platform, going through the tunnel of fire as we heard cheers from the pirates below, shocked faces of Whitebeard, Admrials, and Warlords were shown as Ivankov was crying. "S-She's something else!!" she sobbed, as Luffy was awake slightly, smiling, as some tears strolled down his face. "A-Ace...." he spoke, finally relieved that he was free, as the blonde boy that was with Koby screamed with disbelief. "AHH! THAT IDIOT GIRL DID IT! SHE FREED ACE!!" Koby was smiling, himself now knowing who I truly was, as I was super cool in his eyes as he didn't say anything.
The marines below were getting ready to fire their cannons at us, as he looked at me. "Y/n, we must stay alert, we need to split up for now!" I nodded, as he let go of me, as we both harshly looked at the marines.
Clenching my fist, I pulled my arm back. "NORMAL PUNCH SPREAD!" I slammed the ground, causing many of them to scatter, as Ace pulled off his own move. "FIRE PILLAR!!" Fire shot down from his hands, creating a copy of a pillar, as from the bottom, the fire spread, burning many marines also.
I was surprised by this, his power was as strong as when you landed and looked at him kneeling on the ground, his breaths heavy, your heart raced, as the once clear air was now orange, and smokey, bringing an effect to him that made Ace more incredible.
As our silouhettes shined in the Amber light, the marines pointed more of their guns to us, telling them to not let us get away.
"Y/N-SAN! ACE-SAN!" Jimbei yelled, a smile onto his face as Whitebeard grinned as well. "Don't forget! Fire Fist Ace is a fire--Logia type!" Marines spoke, as Ace looked to me. "Let me be honest cutie. I never thought when I was locked in that cell with you you'd be the one to rescue me, or would I'd thought one day I'd meet a girl like you. Your storng, intelegent, and to think you came her with my brother while taming him, it's rather attractive..." My heart raced while looking at him as he grabbed my hands. "Sorry if this sounds cheesy, but I guess fate has brought us here for a reason, and now, I have an urdge to survive this...with you...Thank you...cutie." My eyes widened, a feeling in my heart came that has never happened beofore, in a long time as I felt this way when I first met Saitama, as I am reliving those moments when I was on wires again.
Both of us were lost in thought, not caring that the war was still going on, as our eyes were just locked with each other, having a moment of thanks with no words, but just by looking at each other. Smirking, he gently touched my bald head. "What's with your bald head? Did my fire do that or something?" I snorted, looking away. "No Ace, your fire didn't do it...I've been bald my whole life..." "I know." My eyes widened. "Y-You knew?" His smirk widened. "It's pretty obvious, Cutie, it's not like I've never seen wigs before, besides, I felt like you had more H/c hair, than what your wig looked like." I chuckled lightly. "You guessed right....do you want a reward?" He laughed. "Oh? A reward from you? How could I resist? Once we get out of here, cutie....i'd love to take you out sometime...how does that sound?" My heart beated. "L-Like a date?" He snickered. "Sure, or we can hang out as friends at first, i'd love to get to know you cutie, and what you like to do in your daily life-"
"DON'T LET THOSE TWO GET AWAY! THIS IS YOUR EXECUTION PLATFORM!" Sighing, both of us looked to more marines surrounding us, all of them having gune.
Smirking again, he just looked to me. "We'll discuss the details later, let's focus on getting out of here." Nodding, I smiled as me and him got in stance, as they started firing their guns.
The bullets didn't effect me, as they bounced off of me, as the bullets just went through body, which turned into flames, as the marines eyes widened, shocked.
Smriking, I bolted, as he just stood their to watch for a second, as two were about ot shoot me again, until my hands grabbed their guns, twisting their arms, breaking it while they screamed as they were tossed away.
Ducking from a sword, I karate chopped a marines neck, nocking him out before moving to the left, kcikign a stumbling marine in the back, lauching him into others as they stumbled like bowling pins.
Quickly turned, I backed away, doging and blocking multiple punches, as a grabbed the mans fist with my hands, chuckling. "Are you ready?" The marin was confused before I tossed him away, Ace burning him above in the air as he screamed with pain, as I punched another one in the gut, making the poor guy explode.
As his guts dropped to the floor, his partners face turned green, as he looked like he was about to vomit, as Ace brought his arms back ,his fist lighting on fire as he was about to slam it on the ground. "FIRE FIST!!" He yelled, slamming his knuckles onto the concrete, burning around 50-100 in front, clearing a more admitted path for us to go through.
As we continued forwards, fighting off m arines, dodging bullets, and punches, as we looked unstoppable.
Some of the whitebeard pirates smirked while watching us, as a man with a large black mustache smirked. "They are unstoppabletogether, never expected this to happen..." A little elf nodded with agreement as he turned. "MAKE A PATH FOR THEM EVERYONE!!!" Pirates yelled with agreement, as Marines wouldn't let ut go without a fight, as we powered through some more, pulling off insane combos and moves.
As bodies of marines showered down like rain, both of us breathed heavily as I turned to him, smirking.
"Your storng, Ace-san, makes me want to surpass you with Luffy." He chuckled. "Hah! Well, I don't mind bieng surpassed by you in the future cutie, your quite strong yourself...tell me hows my brother?" I frowned from his comment. "He's with your ship doctors." His eyes widened. "What happened-" "Some of the vice admirals got to him, nto your grandpa, but...others...he used a lot of his energy..." Ace looked to the floor, his fists clenching... "Luffy...you idiot...." I watched Ace with silence, as he looked up again. "Well, I now know he's in good hands..." He started to smirk again. "When we get out of here, someday in the future I'll make sure to remember to give him a good scolding...yet I should thank him ...without his help..." He went silent, as I smiled, about to say something to him until the air Suddenly felt cold.
Both of us stopped, Ace's teeth gritted as Admiral Aokiji was in front of us, as Ace's arm held out in front of me, as me and the Marine locked eyes. "Cutie, let me protect you, it's the least I can do." My brows furrowed from his comment as Aokiji simply looked to us. "Someday? There's no tomorrow for both of you.." He spoke, his hands going into his pockets. "You think you can escape?" He asked, as my teeth gritted before the Marine held out his hand, ice forming onto it, which made Ace grin with excitement. "Back up, cutie." I paused, looking at him. "But-" He looked at me. "Trust me..." Fire formed onto him, as my heart race, I knew he was strong, and strong against this Admiral as I nodded, turning and running the other way.
Soon enough, more Ice formed on Aokiji, as a pheasent formed, heading to Ace, while more fire came from the boy, heading to the Admiral, as the two clash, flinging upwards to create a powerful blast and energy to surround the area.
My eyes widened with shock, as the two stared intently at each other, as the Ice of Aokiji was vaporized which made since because of the rule of science.
I smiled, as many others on the battlefield were impressed,as Mister three's face was lit up. "Fire fist Ace...is cool..." Buggy Zoomed to him. "STOP BEING IMPRESSED YOU WAX HEAD!!" He snapped. "S-Sorry, but he is. With Y/n and him fighting together, they're almost unstoppable!"
Buggy didn't like his backup answer, as him and mister three agured, while Ace and you continued to fight off marines, until whitebeard spoke up.
"WHITEBEARD PIRATES!!! LISTEN UP!!! I, AS YOUR CAPTAIN WILL GIVE YOU ONE LAST ORDER!!!!" Me and Ace paused, turning to whitebeard as my eyebrows furrowed, Ae's teeth gritting. "P-Pops!" 'All of you and I will split up from here! Everyone, survive at any costand get back to the New World safely!" He yelled, shocking everyone apart of his crew, even you, as one of his allies spoke up. "P-Pops! Are you planning to die here-" Whitebeard stomped the ground, getting in stance. "I'm a remnant from the old times! There is no ship that can bear me in the new era!" His muscles flexed, creating the same light crack in the air as before, as it spread quickly, as the waves began to run wild. "GO, YOU GUYS!!" My heard broke, as I could barely stand due to the large amount of rumbling. I heard Ace grit his teeth with sadness and annoyance, as he saw me stumbling making him grab my waist and cary me again, as I struggled against his arms, making him let go as I bolted to whitebeard, his eyes widening. "C-Cutie!!"
Trying my best to dodge rubble, waves, or anything that could knock me down, whitebeard saw me run to him, as slight tears were escaping my eyes, this shocked him.
As I got close to him, my tiny arms wrapped around his giant leg, as it shcoked his crew, everyone in the war, and him.
Eyebrows raised, his body slightly tensed, but, his heart slightly felt remorse as he saw my shaky breaths, my back shakingly heaved up and down.
From the first moment he saw me, he knew I was storng, and justa rookie, but, once he saw me fight, with my emotions, and glanced at my personality, he saw me not just as a rookie, but a kind, experienced girl, who just wants what's best for other people, not myself.
And he's exactly right, as the way he felt me grip his pant leg, the way he saw tears flooding from my eyes, he knew that he mattered to me, even if I never truly knew him at all, he was like family already to me.
"Brat..." I didn't look up. "We knew how this was going to end. There is no war, that doesn't come with tragidy....." I shook more. "You want fairness for everyone, the weak, the low ranked, the high ranked, even the rich and the poor...but let me tell you something brat...life doesn't always work that way. There's always a point in life where a journy comes to an end...and for me...to be able to take down the marines, to save Ace with my own life...that's a ending to my era..." I didn't like his words, but I knew they were true...I knew something had to be done, I knew someone had to stop the marines...which is why I accepted it...as I look up to him, my eyes are red and puffy.
But instead of speaking to him...I grabbed one of his large hands, and prayed for him, pray that his death won't be forgotten, and that his legacy will be strong and he will be in a better place.
As Marines and other pirates were confused on what I was doing, Garp ordered everyone to stop what they were doing, as out of respect as everyone in the battlefield was silent.
But, even thought Garp ordered a pause on the matter, Admiral Akainu saw this opportounity to Kill Luffy, who was laying to rest.
Ace saw this, as his eyes widened. "Luffy!!!" He yelled, bolting, as I finished praying, looking that way, as Ace got in fornt of Luffy, as Akainu was about to Kill Ace with his devil fruit.
Qucikly acting, I used my speed to try to get to him in time, Ace's back faced Away from the Admiral, to Luffy as he closed his eyes waiting for death to come, until I stepped in front of him, Akainu's lava fist hitting against my skin as I let out a scream of pain, but his fist didn't go thorugh, it just bruned my skin rather badly, as blood escaped my mouth.
Ace heard my screams from behind him, as his eyes widened with fear, Luffy's did as well.
Crocodile, Buggy, Mister three, Mihawk, Mister one, Jimbei, Ivankov, Aokiji, Smoker, Tashigi, Koby, Marco, Doflamingo, Kizaru, and Whitebeard all looked my way, their faces mixed with shock, fear, and anger, as I was protecting Ace, taking the pain from him.
Both him and Luffy couldn't belive this, as Akainu pulled away with a satisfied 'hmm' as I was about to fall to the floor, before Ace and Luffy ran to me, taking me into their arms. "Y/N-SAN/CUTIE!!!" They screamed, my eyes closing as I was passing out, not caring that Akainu was attacking again, until his fist was stopped by Jinbe, as his water and his lava clashed, both Haki's going crazy.
But as he let go, Marco and the large mustache man attack the admiral quickly Marco out of rage as they got a hit on him, but his skin was turned to lava. "How annoying." He simply spoke. "Can you two see it's too late to save the girl? Look?" Both of them looked to me, laying in Luffy and Ace's arms, as a large burn was on my back, my wound from mihawk broke open, as blood spilled down my side, to my hip.
Their eyes widened, as Ace could still feel a pulse, as Luffy's eyes were lined with fear. "O-Oi...Y-Y/n-san...y-you need t-to get treated-" He paused when I coughed, more blood escaping my mouth as Ace's teeth gritted. "Cutie! Stop struggling! We'll get you out of here! Why did you do this?! It was supposed to be me who was in your position, so why did you have to act like an idiot-" "S-S-S-Stop i-i-it..." I brokenly spoke, my tired eyes looking to him. "A-A hero....d-doesn't l-live k-knowing that s-someone else d-dies....a-a h-hero d-dies knowing a person is s-saved...and well." Ace's teeth gritted. "Don't say that! Your not dying! We'll take you to a doctor! You'll be fine!" I chuckled, then coughed up more blood. "I have faith.....don't..." I started to feel even more tired, as more of my weight leaned more on Luffy, as my eyes closed more. "Worry..."
And with that...all I saw was black....as I heard the screams and cries of the two brothers...who was fearful I might die.
"Y/N-SAN!!"
"CUTIE!!!"
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The war was over.
Shanks stopped the war.
Whitebeard died from Blackbeard, who stole his devil fruit.
And Fire Fist Ace, was Alive...but broken without his captain, and me by his side.
I was taken by a new group of pirates, who's captain seemed to be a doctor.
Ace and Luffy went on the ship with me, not leaving my side as Jimbei was injured as well, as he needed to get treated.
The crew of the doctor prepped us for a major surgery, as the man who was quite handsome, with tattooes, black hiar and sideburns was putting on gloves, his eyes glued to me as he could tell I just didn't have burns on my chest, their were internal injuries as well, even for jimbei.
So, the man went to work, doing everything he can to fix any internal injuries on me, and my wound from Mihawk, as there was more wrong than the fragments Marco had gotten out.
As Ace and Luffy where helplessly waiting for the operation to be done, the submarine shook, causing the two to be alert as Ace and him looked out a peaking hold, watching as the sea turned into ice.
"Shit!" Ace grumbled, turning to Luffy. "Hang on!" Both of them hanged onto something, as the submarine changed courses, Sinking lower to try and escape the ice. It was successful, as everything thought things were calming down, until the ship rattled again, as Kizaru send multiple shots with his devil fruit to the submarine, which is impressive, since the Submarine is far away.
But, the person steering the ship was smarter, as he was able to go lower and lower avoiding the attacks with ease, as Shanks and everyone still at Marineford.
Once things have died down, the world knew the war was over, as the marines anounced they won, even though they were the one's who failed to kill Ace, but saw Whitebeards death, who was killed by blackbeard as their victory.
For a couple of hours, once the submarine was in a safe distance, it came up from the water, as on the deck, the walking polar bear came out happy, feeling the cool air hitting his furr with a bright smile.
"It's so refreshing! How nice it is outside!" He spoke, as Ace and Luffy came out as well.
But, to their demise, their was a Navy ship beside the submarine, as the empress Boa Hancock jumped down from it. "Luffy!" She yelled, hugging him instantly. "I'm so glad your ok!" she spoke happily, as Ace's eyes widened with pure shock, as did the pirates and Polarbear.
"HOW DID YOU FIND US HERE?!" Snapped the polarbear as Hancock still hugged Luffy. "WE THOUGHT THE NAVY FOLLOWED US HERE!" She let go of Luffy, as she pointed to her snake. "I apolagize, I made Salome follow you underwater." "I see!" "Don't change the subject furry beast!" "The Polar bear slumped. "So mean.." "SO WEAK!" His crewmates yelled, as Boa continued. "How's Jimbei, and the girl? Will they recover-" She was paused when the doors opened, as the captain of the Heart Pirates, Trafalgar Law came out with a blank face, whiping his hands. "I did everything I could." One of her eyebrows rose. "So, they're alive?" He sighed. "We were able to stabalize btoh of them, However...the girl took greater damager than you think. With the sword slash on her side, and internal injuries, as well as the massvie amounts of cuts, bruises and burns, there is no garantee that she will survive yet." Luffy and Ace's heart broke from his truthfull words, as both of them looked to the ground, anger and sadness travelling through their bodies.
"IT'S NO WONDER!!" A new, familiar voice spoke, as they looked on the marine ship to see Ivankov and her crew. "Y/n-girl didn't back down when trying to Save you Ace-boy!" The Heart pirates were confused when looking to Ivankov, as their heads tilted. "Who are they?" Luffy smiled. "That's Ivan-chan! She helped me and Y/n rescue you Ace!" He confessed, as Ace put a hand to his hips. "I see. Well, I'm greatful." Boa scoffed, crossing her arms. "They have snuck on the ship.." Ivankov jumped, landed on the ship in front of everyone. "I can't belive she pushed herself that hard! With the amount of strength she had, and with how much she could withstand, I'd never thought she'd ever get hurt like this! That's how much she wanted to help you Straw boy, and Ace boy!" Both of their hearts raced, knowin gthe full situation of your kindness, as Ace looked away, his brows furrowing.
"But, when Whitebeard died in front of her eyes....that's when she truly knew the world wasn't fair to people like us. DAMN IT! THE WORLD DOESN'T HAVE JUSTICE! IT PISSES ME OFF!"
Boa hancock felt remorse for me, even though she hasn't met me, as she thought of me as a same species, a strong woman. "It is sad that I never got to meet this girl...she has truly earned my respect." She spoke, looking away. "Everyone on that battlefield wished that was us taking her place."
Ivankov crossed her arms. "Indeed, with how the warlords, marines, and pirates alike watching her fight, and how kind she was, there was no doubt Y/n-san had gathered a unique audience to her! Even with her bald head!" The polar bear looked to Ivankov. "Oh! I've been wondering why she was bald....it's weird to see a human girl with no hair-NOT THAT IT'S A BAD THING OF COURSE-" "She's bald for a reason, which wasn't her fault.." everyone paused, and turned to the deep male voice, as Crocodile was on the ship, as Ace, Luffy, and Laws crew got in stance, as he just sighed with annoyance. "Stop your defense crap I'm not here to hurt nobody....that will come later until I know Y/n is alive...not that I care for her anyway..." Law's head titled. "Y/n?" Crocodile glared to him. "That's the girls name..." "Ah, I see."
Crocodile looked to everyone. "It's not my place to tell you this, but since she probably won't wake up for a while...I guess you need to know what she told me...and Mugiwara...Y/n isn't from this 'world.'"
Everyone's eyes widened, except Luffy. "R-REALLY?! THAT'S MADNESS!" Ivankov spoke, as Ace nodded. "Yeah! What makes you say she told you-"
"If you've seen her powers, their like nothing the world has ever seen, extreme strength, incredible speed, powerful enough to take down a giant with one punch, you all saw it yourselves, the way she fought Hawkeye without hesitation, splitting the sea when almost punchin a marine, how she fought three admirals by herself, you'd see she's not like any devil fruit user, plus, she told me back at Impel down she didn't know what a Devilfruit is..." Law put a finger to his chin. "Your words seem belivable...I'm guessing you escaped with her correct, all of you?"
Luffy nodded. "Yeah, she was a great help. But, she told me much more than from being a different world, she told me her powers were transfered to her by another person." "R-REALLY?!" everyone except Law, Crocodile, and Luffy yelled, as he nodded. "Yeah, by a name of Saitama, who is basically a hero to her."
Ivankov. "So, a man named Saitama, who is also from a different world, gave Abby-girl her powers. It all makes since of why she never heard of a Devil fruit before. But, Why did he do that?" Luffy looked to the ground. "He saw potential and how brave she was, she had a sickness." Everyone paused, brows furrowing. "A sickness?" Ace repeated. "What kind of Sickness Luffy?" Luffy stayed silent for a bit, still looking to the ground. "She told me when she was little, she wanted a life full of fun and Adventure, that is until she got sick, with a disease called luekemia.."
Law's eyes widened. "L-Luekemia! You mean she had a type of Cancer?! That makes much more since...."
Ace's head tilted. "C-Cancer? What is that?" Ivankov sighed. "It is a form of sickeness that is rising in our world, that already exists in her world, it can easily kill a human wihtout the propper treatment, as Luekemia is only active to young children, which Abby-girl sadly faced. I see why this Saitama-man gave her his powers, he saw a warrior behind those eyes. Tell me, Luffy, was she alone during this Cancer phase?" Luffy looked away. "Yes. She also told me, her parents were killed by monsters from her world..." The deck went silent again, as Hancock put a hand over her mouth. "Poor thing...s-so she was fighting alone..."
"Until that man showed up.." Ace finished, as the deck went silent again.
But, the silence was broken when Pirates were scolding for someone to get rest, as Jimbei came out brokenly, looking straight at Law.
"Jimbei!" Ivankov yelled, as the fishmans eyes glared right at Law. "You're Trafalgar Law from the North Blue, aren't you?" Law simply nodded, as Ivankov put her hands to her hips. "Hey, is it ok for you to move around like that" Jimbei ignored her question, as he was still looking at law. "Thank you!" He spoke, then continued. "You saved my life.." He bowed with respect. "You must rest. It could kill you." Law blankly spoke, his arms crossed as Jimbei shook his head. "I can't ease my mind...not when Y/n is fighting for survival...it's impossible!" He contineud. "What she and Ace has lossed was too important to them both, that is why I know that Abby-san must be going through far worse! At least, her instinct, her faith forced her to lose consiousness at that time. Even if she survives...." Tears start to form in his eyes. "I can't stop worrying about the moment when she wakes up." His words struck everyone's hearts, even Crocodiles, as he understood that seeing whitebeard, who aided me died in front of my eyes would effect me someway, as he looked to the ground, his teeth gritted, as Ace's fist clenched, feeling the same way as Jimbei did.
But, as the silence went on, Boa looked to the polar bear. "You, Fuzzy beast, do you have a transponder snail?" Her question made the bear fix his posture. "Yeah..I mean...yes, ma'am! I'm sorry..." He confessed, as she looked to the others. "I'm gonna call the Kuja's ship so we can go across the Calm Belt even with this submarine. If the government finds out that Y/n is alive, they're gonna come after her with how much power she has shown to them. Let us harbor her at the Maiden Island!" Everyone was shocked by her answer, as she continued. "If they still see me as a Warlord....then...."
"She can rest safely!!"
It had been a long night for Boomer. After Wendell was freed and up to steam, the old engine had dragged the old man all over Sodor! So much had changed since Wendell had been locked away and the silly engine wanted to see everything. Boomer was stunned by Wendell’s magic. Without any trouble, the old American Narrow- gauge engine used his magic to create new tracks as well as resize the standard gauge line to fit him.  The silly engine was happily chuffing along as day broke, by now Boomer was beyond exhausted and felt like he was about to collapse. Wendell though caught him and brought the man to his face, thanking Boomer for once again setting him free. Being grateful, the engine offered to return the favor. Boomer’s attention was soon grabbed, he knew what to ask he old magic engine for. Boomer told Wendell everything, about Burnett, Tanya, and himself, their time on Sodor, Tanya’s illness, Lady’s refusal and lies, and Tanya’s passing. As he finished Boomer couldn’t help but shed a tear. Wendell was deeply sympathetic with the man; he knew all too well the pain and anger Boomer was going through. Wendell remembered his best friend Dinah and all the time they spent together adventuring and discovering magic. He remembered waking up that morning many years after, only to find that his friend had departed from this world. He remembered the feelings of agony, sadness, and remorse consuming him, the hallow empty feeling inside his boiler after. In those dark times Dinah’s husband Ethan had been the only spec of light in this post Dinah world. A trusted friend and confidant in such dark times, Ethan was the only one in existence that could understand the engine’s pain, the two helping each other through the loss of someone so precious to them. Sadly, the Grim Reaper would once again return and snuff out the fire that was once known as Ethan, and Wendell found himself plunging into a deeper hole. Wendell remembered the anger and betrayal he felt towards Sir Topham Hatt I and Mr. Conductor when they locked him away. The heartache Wendell felt was unbearable, he never could imagine that Dinah’s sweet little boys who would always run to him to play and ride in his cab could grow up to be such heartless adults. Hearing Boomer talk about Lady refusing to help save his friend infuriated Wendell, another deep betrayal. In all their lessons, Wendell always made sure to emphasize the importance of life to Lady, telling her that it was sacred to protect at any cost and he meant any. The poor engine just wished he had perfected his ultimate spell before Dinah had moved on. But now, Wendell had the chance to make it up as Boomer mentioned Sodor’s newest residence, the Cupper siblings along with a frequent visitor in the form of Holly. Wendell was very interested with the four newcomers, especially when Boomer mentioned the three siblings who lost their mother and Holly who had just overcome a horrible illness known as Cancer. Boomer spoke about how the four had bounded with the engines of the NWR and how they were now capable of using magic. Wendell knew this was his chance to make a difference, this time he would stop the Grim Reaper and spare those engines from the sorrow he has been suffering with for so long. With that, the two make a plan to stop Lady.
A question I would love the writers explore with Adrien's character for S6-S7 - in the context Adrien never finds out the true about his father being Hawkmoth during those seasons - is can someone's death really amends for all their wrongs?
It is a common trope in stories in which a villain does one good action to help the heroes before dying as a way to "redeem" themselves. But often times, since it occurs toward the end of the story, it is not much explored narratively how it affects the heroes' judgment of the person. And here, the villain did make a Wish - which isn't viewed as a good thing by the heroes - but he used the power for something else, dying as part of the balance.
Like, the parisians believe Gabriel died as an hero and they raise a statue to honor his contribution and sacrifice. Even Adrien thinks that his father died doing everything in his power to stop Monarch (which is half true as Gabriel dying did stop Monarch in a way). For them all, it is a sacrifice and that would make Gabriel an hero, right? But does being "heroic" one time truly correct / erase the mistakes and wrongs Gabriel did?
IRL, we see statues being vandalized, beheaded and toppled to the ground and even thrown in the nearest river because people who are aware of the atrocities committed by said "hero" cannot let that figure continue to have a statue in their honor and take action despite the autorities and rest of population's judgment.
Gabriel - as a civil - isn't all white or black. Some of his old employees could remember how terrified they were of the persona. Other would praise his accomplishments as a fashion designer. Some people of his past as Gabi could come back and offer an entire different perspective of who the man was. After all, Gabriel isn't there anymore to stop them.
With Adrien, we can suppose he will be conflicted about the image his father left in their mind and the memories he has of his father, especially the last one (AKA sending Adrien against his will to London and imprison him in a white isolated cell, ignoring his plea to let him out and instead send a robot to give him an Alliance). Will Adrien learn more about his father's past?
Something Adrien said every once in a while during the first five seasons is that he didn't know his father, unsure of who he was nor how he could understand him. His father was a mystery to him, even at the end. His father's actions at the end were non-sensical to him.
What if Adrien - who is usually forgiving - has a really hard time forgiving his father and doesn't understand himself why? Can he truly just focus on the good moments he had with his father and ignore the bad? Will Adrien start to speak ill of the dead? Will he confuse and be judged for not thinking like the rest of the Parisians if he ever do so? Will his father's ghost (in a narrative sense of speaking) haunt him because they never got a real understanding / resolution?
As Chat Noir, will he or would he want at one point use Cataclysm on his father's statue, tired of bottling up his emotions?
Like, yes, of course, Maribug is in the wrong to hide the truth to Adrien about his father, but her mistake also allow the possibility to explore several actual-rooted topics through Adrien that wouldn't have been as complex otherwise.
Ladybug "stopped" Monarch because he needed to be stopped. He was terrorizing the city and exploited the Kwamis' power. But now that Adrien has been freed, he can judge for himself who Gabriel the father, the designer, the civil was.
on minthara's class, modifiers, and sub-class.
THE GODLESS PALADIN ( OATH OF VENGEANCE; HOMEBREW ). minthara says herself that 'while my faith is shattered, my oath still stands.' for a woman who has had every certainty taken from her and been ripped from all she's known, her oath remaining unbroken is important to her - it is one of the last remnants of her former identity and an anchor that she can hold on to and rally around.
as for the nature of minthara's oath, she does say that she was sworn to destroy all enemies of lolth - and looking at that, becoming a paladin to the absolute should have broken that oath. however, looking at the 5e homebrew binder, godless paladin's oaths can bend, not break, when the swearer is betrayed by their god. this bending likely occurred during minthara's indoctrination in the mind flayer colony. much like in the prison cells, minthara likely called out for lolth's aid, only to find the god she had spent her entire life serving silent. going off of her battle dialogue 'in the name of the absolute / in your name / in our name', minthara's oath shifted to the enemies of the cult once tadpole'd, before being freed by the party and finally becoming a full-fledged godless paladin by swearing vengeance against the absolute to tav/durge ( and there is something to be said for the devotion there; but that is for another post ); something that is solidified by her being unsure what will become of her oath once the battle is won.
her oath of vengeance carries the standard tenets, modified by her godless status - patron above all ( tav/durge will have her sword no matter what ), disavow the divine ( #fuckgods ) fight the greater evil, no mercy for sworn enemies, by any means nessecary, and restitution - the helping of those who have been harmed by her sworn enemies. minthara may never return to the path of a divinely bound paladin.
as a godless paladin, her abilities to differ from the traditional abilities of paladins - divine oath-bound or oath-broken included.
stench of the lamb. minthara can smell divine influence on another from up to 250 ft away, though stone and wood, and can identify the god as well. none of the divine smell pleasant to her, and depending on the strength of the smell, will make her physically ill.
resolve of the godless. minthara can identify objects of extreme importance to the gods; connected to stench of the lamb.
divine fury. minthara's anger towards the gods can be channelled into an extremely powerful smite - damage gets doubled.
defy the gods. minthara may resurrect a fallen person - either herself, or someone who she has sworn her oath to ( tav/durge ) and return them to the land of the living.
THE NIGHT WARDEN ( HOMEBREW SUBCLASS ). recently larian updated the game to remove the title of night warden after recruitment, implying it's a cult title - but failed to expand on what the hell that even is and why minthara is the only one to have that rank. i don't care + didn't ask + i control the lore + L so i decided to go with a homebrew concept i found on reddit and use when i play dnd with my own group, as i thought it added some interesting depth and implications to her backstory.
the night warden is a melee subclass who have given their bodies to the stars in order to adopt an elusive, fluid fighting style that makes them difficult to catch. minthara was an extremely skilled and prominent raider before her time in the cult of the absolute. given drow's sensitivity to the light, the far away stars are some of the few things that do not burn a drow's eyes above ground; and for a young minthara, that became a source of fascination. when she felt the call to give a part of herself to them in exchange for power, it was all too easy for her to agree - despite the fact it drew the wrath of lolth and her family ( which resulted in minthara's first and only trial by fire for a second chance ), her assuming the subclass of night warden turned her into a fearsome raider - hard to catch, hard to see - and deadlier than any before her. her warband became one of the baenre's heaviest hitters as a result of this choice, and minthara does not regret it.
while this homebrew class talks about resistance to cold damage/extra cold damage, i have adapted it to give more radiant damage/resistance to radiant damage - an excellent addition for a paladin to have. the addition of an elusive and fluid fighting style would also compliment the drow dual wielding fighting style of draa velve she uses. extra abilities from this subclass include:
lunar dance. movement speed is increased; minthara gains advantage to dodges.
starry presence. minthara is no longer susceptible to radiant damage when channeling this.
bewitching glimmer. minthara can summon an aura that gleams with the light of the stars, disorienting, beguiling, and entrancing enemies.
stellar radiance. if gravely wounded, minthara will not be killed outright, but instead drop to the brink of death - her aura will blind all within her radius (allied or otherwise) in a flash before vanishing.
snowdrops
Thou fairy gift from summer,
Why art thou blooming now?
The Snowdrop by Letitia Landon (L.E.L)
January in the Northern Hemisphere can be a hard time to celebrate a birthday. It's cold, winter still has a ways to go yet and everyone is pretty hung over from the rash of holidays that took up the past three months straight.
Enter the delicate and determined snowdrop.
Once upon a time, so the story goes in Germany, back when the world was new, Winter was sent out to find itself a color. Knowing how everyone raved about the beautiful colors of the Flowers, Winter went to them and asked if one of them would give him their color to wear. Prideful and protective of their own glory, the Flowers laughed at Winter and turned away from him. Only one didn't laugh. The snowdrop, small and dainty, offered to share its color with the Winter. In gratitude, Winter promised that the cold of its touch would never harm the little flower and it would be allowed to bloom during Winter's reign whenever the little flower liked.
The snowdrop, legend claims, can create its own warmth.
It is also one of the first flowers to bloom each year, often before the snow has even finished melting, its hard leaves able to push up through ice and frozen soil, popping up to carpet the forest floor in a very different white, filling the sharp winter air with its light fragrance. If you listen, the stories say, you can hear the faint sounds of their petal bells ringing, waking up the rest of the world to spring's arrival.
The plucky little snowdrop has been around for a very long time and they have a lot of stories that go with them.
In Romania and Moldova, snowdrops, sometimes called 'daughter of the wind', were the results of a hero's battle against Winter (or the Winter Witch). Winter had decided to prevent Spring, either by trapping the Sun or simply refusing to move on. The Sun's lover - or Lady Spring herself - fought with Winter and in each place their blood fell, snowdrops sprang up.
When Adam and Eve were chased from the Garden of Eden at the beginning of the world, Eve wept so bitterly that an angel took pity on her. He breathed onto a falling snowflake and everywhere the snow fell, snowdrops sprang up, to give the weeping woman hope and the promise of a better future.
Snowdrops were Persephone's tears when she was freed from Hades in Greek myth and their arrival heralded her return to her mother.
The flowers are sometimes called 'Candlemas bells' because Christian stories say that when Mary went to the Temple to be purified and to present Jesus there as her first-born on February 2, an angel gave her the gift of snowdrops.
Want another one?
In Homer's Odyssey, Sean Bean Odysseus is given a magical plant called 'moly' by Hermes. He uses this to resist Circe's poison. There's debate whether Homer's moly was truly meant to be a snowdrop - but at least as far back as Roman times, the snowdrop was believed to be an antidote against poison. In modern times, doctors are using it to help in the fight against Alzheimer's.
Don't get carried away with the home remedies just yet. Snowdrops can be toxic to pets and humans can suffer from imbibing too much as well.
Overall, given all the stories associated with snowdrops, it shouldn't surprise anyone that they are seen as symbols of hope and rebirth, or light in the darkness and triumph over tribulation. Their white color gives them a symbolism of purity. In the story of Snow White, her name is sometimes changed to Snowdrop. These little flowers give those worn down by the snow the promise of sunlight and brighter days to come.
Unless you were a Victorian. Because - of course. Snowdrops had a habit of growing in cemeteries and church yards and so Victorians viewed them as omens of illness at best and death at worst. Seeing a single snowdrop was bad. Bringing a single snowdrop inside your house was nothing short of inviting death in.
Luckily, that doesn't have to stop the rest of us from being delighted by these determined flowers and holding to the faith that, when the snowdrops arrive, better days are soon to come.
how did v feel about becoming a spy? did they and johnnie have any blowouts on working with the government? what was their first impressions upon entering dogtown?🎤
OOOOOH okay i have sooo many thoughts about this hehe. I'll tag this also as Phantom Liberty Spoilers
For anyone following me who hasn't played Phantom Liberty, Spoilers ensue after this Sentence.
Okay so my V is Corpo ! V, but has bitter feelings about being used and how they were raised.
Becoming a Spy.
V(ance) hates authority. Hates governing bodies. After being raised corporate & working for Arasaka, they'll never listen to any large governing body ever again. be it the NUSA or a Mega-Corp.
Not to mention, Vance smells the two-faced nature off of President Myers. They know that everything she says is just putting on airs. They've seen it before and they'll see it again, she's no different except being more powerful than other suits.
As for Dogtown, I have a particular headcannon that he's been once before when he was much younger, around 15. Remember that one gig with the sports center? yeah. So Vance when he was a model had to get cyber-legs to work with jinguji for their line. and getting cybernetics before being fully grown is dangerous and most rippers in NC won't do that. So his parents took him to dogtown to get that work done. But it was only once and he was very protected and safe during that journey. Returning however, brings back those ill memories and the bitter relationship they have with the place.
At this point V's relationship with johnny is very developed and they still have arguments, and johnny can feel how he's drawn to So Mi, relates to her even and her forced augmentation (he was in the same scenario just on a smaller scale) and Johnny knows that Vance is also drawn to the blackwall. He probably is frustrated with V's eagerness to help her, and warns them of how it'll make big enemies with the NUS government. But otherwise Johnny is pretty much on board because let's face it. He and V know that So Mi doesn't deserve to be a slave ever again. She deserves her freedom and she fought for it. Vance wants to live, but he is a martyr at his core and wants to do good. He relates to So Mi too much to see her suffer anymore.
However I personally love the Reed Path and the Maxtac + Cynosure playthrough SO MUCH, that I kind of think maybe he helped Reed first, not because he trusted him but out of doubt, and then freed songbird once gotten to the core of Cynosure... I'm still not sure. Either way I think when So Mi uses V as a proxy during the moon ending, that some of it lingers. I use the Militech Canto MK.6 (haunted cyberdeck) which I KNOW YOU CAN ONLY GET IF YOU DO THE REED ROUTE BUT YOU CAN STILL SPAWN IT IN... In character I think he'd help So Mi BUT LIKE.... THE REED ROUTE IS TOO GOOD TO PASS....
IM SORRY I WROTE SO MUCH i'M SO EXCITED ABOUT THE DLC AND THE BLACKWALL AND SO MI AND CYNOSURE AND THIS WHOLE DLC IT'S SO FUCKING COOOOL T,T
