i can’t be normal about rhaenyra and her relationship with her siblings. we have no interactions with them, close to none. but in episode 8 viserys reveals to rhaenyra his missing eye and the first person she looks to are two of her siblings

objectively I should not look too into this. but she looks to Aegon and Helaena! she could have looked to alicent with a ‘what happened? how did it get this bad? explain it to me’ look, she could have even looked to daemon for some support.

but rhaenyra looks to her brother and sister. and there’s so many things in that one look. she is searching for something and she gets nothing. Aegon looks at his father for barely a moment, Helaena is unflinching as she takes in their father’s decaying body.

I like to think even for a moment she is looking to THEM for support, for questions to be answered, because estrangement cannot change that they are siblings and that is their father
