okay so, I’ve been playing tons of sonic heroes lately and there’s this moment/line which u can easily miss but is definitely a worthwhile addition. 

When the team dark vs team sonic fight takes place (doesn’t matter which team you’re playing as), if Tails gets knocked off of the arena, Sonic is the one who reacts immediately, saying: “Shadow, have you lost your mind?!” 

He goes overprotective big brother mode (yes please) and I just find that endearing. Ryan’s delivery is literally incredible and it plays a huge role on how this line is received by the audience (even though it is not certain that players will hear this, unfortunately). The first time I heard it, I was actually taken aback, Sonic got quite aggressive real quick (and I love it).

And, when Sonic gets knocked off of the arena, Tails is the one who reacts this time, saying: “Don’t you remember us, Shadow?”

This happened to me just once so I don’t know if Knuckles reacts in any way to Sonic’s knockout (I don’t think he does tho). But Tails gets worried about his big brother and tries to reason with Shadow. If you hear the line, his voice sounds more sad and worried than mad and I guess that shows a lot about Sonic and Tails’s relationship and dynamic.

haneul's not blind to seunggi's absence, though, incredibly optimistic about it. he knows he was struck with sheer luck the second time they met, and again the night of their first date. he should've known, actually, that sooner or later he'd have to face reality again. though, he was hoping that this reality would be much kinder to him. but seunggi can't tell him that they're okay like haneul asked him to, so it looks like this reality will play out very similarly to the first.

he can really only nod softly, dejected as he shoves his spoon back into his half-eaten dish of ice cream. he suddenly doesn't have a taste for it anymore. he wishes he were brave enough to look seunggi in the eye while he's being broken up with for a second time, but instead, haneul's eyes fall to his lap where his hands are already anxiously picking at his cuticles. maybe he was a little silly, thinking they'd be able to salvage a relationship after all this time?

tbh I'm not sure with Jing Yuan and Luo Cha, they can be interchangeable? It depends maybe once I've gotten to know more about them

Now I don't know a lot about the relationship between Jingyuan, Blade, and Dan Heng or if there's any or if there's any fan theories—zero knowledge yet

i’ve noticed that something i actually enjoy is you know when you’re with someone else and you’re scrolling through a streaming service trying to find something to watch and you’re talking about the things as you pass them by? i like doing that. because it gives us so much to talk about. “have you seen that? i heard it sucked.” “ooohh you have to watch this.” “you actually watched that??? tell me all your thoughts right now.” like i don’t know!! i know we’re trying to find something to watch but i enjoy the journey!! maybe it’s because i never know what to talk about. asking people’s favorite movies or what shows they’re watching is ALWAYS my go-to, because it’s something that can be talked about in pretty much any social setting. everyone watches something. so this way it feels like a constant opportunity for discussion and i don’t have to struggle to come up with anything!!!
