sorry I just really adore reiko so I drew this like two weeks ago on the Monday I got off from work right before doing taxes 🤧 so her eyes were rushed and I struggled lots with her feet and getas and skirt bcuz I couldn't find the right positioning and fabric texture and angles and I refused to look for references cuz I'm lazy but I think it ended up turning out really good she's so like rounded and tiny and squishy I love her so much she's like my favorite Tori drawing I've drawn so far ahhh also I did something new with her hair (and eyes but that's cuz I was rushing) like I made the hair more detailed and stuff and I like how it ended up looking Idk if I'll use it more often tho. i feel like no one wants to see animal death (photos) which i understand but i had quite a jumpscare at work today. walked in the freezer to put some things away for the meat department and see a pigs whole head sitting on a gray tray... her body is gone but her head is not butchered, except for her eyes. you can see her teeth..even the hairs on her chin... her snout. but no eyes. ... could not stop staring.

#i took a picture of it. wont post. but im still very...... wow #sometimes we get whole lambs and they are just in a barrel... #as someoje interested in biology it intrigues me but as a vegan disconnected with her omnivore nature it also unnerves me..... #i know meat comes from animals and we are omnivores but seeing the pig in the freezer made me feel ... idk :( #i dont get that with the lamb bodies i see in the freezer. or fish. but the pig... i dont know #i think its the fact that the pigs head was still very discernable as a pig. other than the eyes being butchered out.. #w the lambs we get you see their whole body but not their face... idk #again. i got very close and could not stop staring. i dont know why.. just #my brain just cant process things #it felt like something out of a horror movie. i know people would make fun of me for that #i feel like im gonna get weird dreams about it

Do you also have specific brushes for different vibes or just use the same brush(es) for everything you draw?

I normally use a thick custom brush for all of my art pieces or that black pen brush I used for my latest OC drawings but sometimes I like using my old basic brushes and sketch whatever I feel like drawing at the time.
