I would like to introduce you to Magpie, the vigilante identity that Tim Drake takes on after he hands over the role of Robin to Damian in Hang In There, Baby.
I wanted to include three photos so you could see all of the layers. The suit on it's own, the jacket, and finally the full suit together
The name Magpie was suggested to Tim by his brothers, because his first version of this suit was something he threw together from stolen pieces of his family's suits. So when it came time to creating his final look, he took inspiration from all of those pieces.
His suit was stolen directly from Cass. He has the gloves and boots from the Robin suit. The logo on the suit was meant to mimic Nightwing, but in yellow for Duke (and the Batgirls). He stole a leather jacket from Jason and sewed in a purple hood from the same fabric Steph uses. The ears were sewn on in the same fabric, but for Cass and for Bruce. His face mask was also inspired by Steph. On his suit you can see little patches all of his people attached at different points for him. One day Kon even snuck on some spikes like his Superboy look. And finally the cape. There's both a weighted and non weighted version of the cape, but both of them look the same. A Batman and Nightwing cape that was sewn together, cut shorter to fit Tim's height (In this au, Dick picked up a cape for a few years when Jason became Flamebird).
So Tim is Magpie because he collects pieces from his people to make a suit for himself. He makes his own name built on the foundation of the people who love him the most. Over time it evolves, his jacket and even his cape become more covered in pieces from his family. I just kind of felt like it would fit him here.

ok i know i said i wasnt gonna post about movie but i do have one thing to say
one thing i reaaally thought was interesting was the springlock scene, when he put the head back on. in the game, we see him putting the whole suit on, and head, before the springlocks kick in. he was using the costume to scare/intimidate the kids. creation turns on creator and all that.
but in the movie, the springlocks have already kicked in BEFORE he can put the head back on. it wasn’t going to make a difference what he did, there was nothing he COULD do to stop it.
i think him putting the head on was him accepting that fate. it was him knowing he was going to be killed, knowing he couldnt escape, but accepting to seal himself to his favourite yellow rabbit for the rest of his ghostly existence. in fact- not just accepting it. but choosing it. look how smug he is! he even says the so iconic “i always come back” AS he’s putting it on! he KNOWS he wont really be killed, not permanently, not while he’s springtrap.
i just think its such a cool difference from the game. where originally it was an accident, wasn’t meant to happen. this time, it was a choice. originally, it was almost a tragedy- forced to live on forever alongside his victims. we had no way to know if thats what he even would’ve wanted. but this time, it was a CHOICE.

'Is this like an Alice in Wonderland thing?' Leo called out, paddling towards Sensei and trying not to swallow water as he moved. 'Did you cry all these tears?'
'The mindscape does love a good metaphor.' Sensei called back, and he sounded fucking wrecked.
old dead bones that don't get theirs (death wish sidefic by @remedyturtles) was written to kill me, specifically, personally, actually. i still think about it Constantly

new headdress I'm working on for my shop. Lambkin, the pet name varré gives us in elden ring, is such a cute word. The pink yarn is very light against the cream, it's hard to capture but it "blushes" in light, almost disappearing under certain angles and light! Accented with antique lace, and it'll have a gorgeous matching ribbon and bows.
I haven't posted any personal work in a while so here's something I'm taking time on for myself ^-^

Simple dark circles for TS2 - 10 colours ×3
There are 10 colours (shown in the first preview) but 30 swatches, because each colour has regular version as well as softer (more transparent) and darker (more opaque) versions. Sims in these previews present regular one. Each sim have right half of their face with dark circle and left half without it to show the difference it makes. Sim with black hair is presenting colour 10, brown - 8, red - 1, green - 3. Each sim in this preview has skinblend from different creator to show those dark circles can be used in different game styles and on big skintone range. Below you can see the difference between opacity versions - left is soft, middle regular and right darker. Which one is better depends on skin you're using and effect you want, so test out in your game. You can have all 30 files if you want ofc.
Available for toddlers-elders unisex. Found in makeup → blush category; not layarable with eachother; layerable with other blushes and make-ups; eyeshadows and eyeliners layer on top (because I think it makes sense)
