There is something to be said about the other side of the fence. Parts of it he will grumble about because he's Clint and he needs something to run his mouth over, complain about. There was good to this side of the fence, now he wouldn't say it had miracles or the secrets to a happy, good life. Well, it has some. It made some people in his life make more sense.

Clint knows that he has to get better at the talking bit, that's a thing about this side of the fence. It's a lot of talking, or at least for him if he wanted it to stick. Therapy, friends, and allies. Talk to them, that had made Kate happy with him. Others too. Talking about IT, the thing that he's now in an exclusive must-wreck-your-life-first club with Carol.

They knew about each other, the thing, and than better yet they know each other. It's the second more emphasized KNOW each other, that mattered to him right now. ❝ Believe it or not, I think I'm running out of jokes for that. ❞ He laughs, and then start to heave a sigh. Ahw shit, heavy topic.

❝ C'mon, Cap, you're better than that. ⸻ but if he's at his girlfriend's place, well, I've been banned from showing up. ❞ And he's not poking either of those bears. Chidori woke up bubbling and cheerful, as usual. As she lovingly slipped on her cute pink apron and picked up her trusty broom, she soon hurried to the front door to start her morning chores. "Nee-chan! I'm going to start sweeping the front porch…." "Alright. Don't forget to put up the sign too…" Kanako only replies from the kitchen, as she took a sip of her morning coffee while browsing the grim news in the paper. "Okay…" The moment the young girl stepped foot outside the door and stepped on something squishy, she screamed. Causing a chaotic panic from the two older sisters who quickly rush out to assume the worst. "WHAT HAPPENED?" The Lioness, Kanako, looked left and right, arm with a frying pan in her hand. Meanwhile, the Vixen, Noburu, was instead armed with a firearm. "Where's the fire?!" "I stepped on something icky…" The younger sister pointed to a figure in front of them.

With a sudden, loud gasp, the Lioness quickly grabs hold of Chidori, fearing the body before them could be dead, as it has now become almost a common occurrence in the village. And taking cautious measures, Noburu then picked up the broom and poked at the body. Seeing it move slightly and groans, "Yeah, it's alive and kicking…" "Oh, thank goodness…" A sigh of relief escaped the Lioness's rose-pink lips. "We should…" And before she could finish her words, Noburu added and shrugs. "Leave it here to rot…" "NOBURU!" The Lioness glared angrily at the Vixen with her arms at her waist. Rolling her eyes in return. "Urgh! Fine!" She picked the stranger by the collar of his robe with one hand. "If he goes nuts and goes on a murder spree and kills us all, I'm going to blame you and say 'I told you so' even if we are in Hell… " Noburu just grumbles and begins dragging the guy without care. "Fine. I'll take full responsibility, but at least be careful with the man. Don't just drag him across the floor…" And the Lioness and the Vixen continued to argue back and forth. And following her two older sisters from behind, Chidori only chirped and jumped with delight. "Yeah! We got a guest…" she exclaimed, as the Inn had been vacant for far too long.

it's a fair assumption on her companion's part, and she can certainly see the attempt taking place. but what keeps Midna's attention is a cynical fascination, as if waiting for the moment for the would-be raft's mast to fall straight onto the blonde's head, and thereby tipping whatever logs had been assembled for the base to go flying. that would be fantastic, a small devil cackled on her shoulder. and yet another part of her just watches in mild disbelief.

the tortured cycle of rebirth, pain and war had conjured up someone such as... this.

it was equally as enthralling as it was vexing.

waking in a new age had only seemed to distill her skepticism. cranky, she's sure he would have called it, was he still her own. but now that very one -- no, different, so very different -- was resolutely trying to construct... something. not quite unlike a memory that floats to the surface, unbidden by the familiarity, to call forth an image of a broken fishing rod being jammed back together by force and held there by a tangled ball of twine.

a snort escapes her. eyes remained glued onto the distant figure, narrowed gaze sharpening further as their would be hero uses eerily familiar technology to put together their next means of travel.

I’m at it again!

Anyone wanna join a Discord Roleplay server that I’m making? I’m also working on a Proboards and /maybe/ a Deviant Art group to go with it.

It’s loosely based on the Ice Age / Stone Age era of time when early humans were just starting to develop agriculture and settle down.

So far there’s three feral factions: Dire wolves, Sabertooth tigers, and Irish elk. But you don’t have to be in any of those factions to play!

Hawke had very much been walking with a limp, a sharp pain shooting up her leg each time she put weight on it. She tried to downplay the intensity of it, gritting her teeth and biting her tongue to prevent from crying out. But then someone noticed, and the jig was up. The rogue slowly turned to the one who spoke. "It...it's just a flesh wound, that's all," she managed to say, attempting a small smile. She took another step, but the pain became unbearable as her leg gave out she tumbled to the ground. "Maker..."

Watching Kirkwall’s Champion reduced to a sorry heap on the ground, Revenelan let out a heavy, unimpressed sigh. “It’s always just a flesh wound,” she muttered to herself, the lament of a seasoned healer. As she jogged over, the distant clatter of armor echoed through the air, underscoring the urgency of the situation. Kneeling by the fallen Hawke, Revenelan's expert hands worked quickly, supporting her with a gentle yet firm grasp, and she eased the Champion into a sitting position. The injured leg, concealed beneath layers of armor and leathers, hinted at a more serious issue.

“I’ve got you,” Revenelan reassured, her voice carrying the weight of both expertise and concern. She stole a glance at Hawke, searching for any sign of pain or discomfort. “Sweet thing,” she quirked an eyebrow, “you aren’t about to tell me that you were trying to play off a broken leg, now, are you?”
