I'd also love some opinions ! I've really been loving making the templates, but the hardest part is coming up with starting points. if anyone has any suggestions, please comment them below! is there any specific template styles you're interested in? certain things you're looking for in carrd or PSD templates, but haven't been able to find? should I branch out into promos and post banner templates more? any thoughts would be incredibly appreciated! ♡

cant sleep gonna say my thoughts.

I think what a lot of people miss about tumblr (and especially unfocused blogs that, say, aren't fandom oriented) is that it's essentially an open journal. it's a microblogging website, and all blogging micro or macro is fundamentally a web log (where the term comes from!). if it seems like I'm not talking ab something enough, it's not because I don't care at all.

It's because first and foremost, this blog is a piece of my soul that I am choosing to share. I'm not trying to be an activist on the internet, I'm not trying to sway anyone to my opinions. I'm saying the things I think and feel. If I talk ab american politics too much, that's because im american. if I'm writing frustrated posts about performative internet activism, that's because it feels exhausting to be out there doing the work (because that's what it is. Its work. Its boring and taxing and it feels like youre getting nowhere. Until you see how far youve come) and having to come to tumblr and seeing people say I didn't talk about [disaster 30000 of the past ten years] enough.

if I seem angry and upset and scared and irrational, its because i am those things. you have to understand. in spite of my rather large follower number, this blog is, first and foremost, for me. I am writing things down and allowing strangers and friends and wanderers to read it. I won't call it a privilege that can be taken away, bc its not like some of my thoughts are exactly a treat, but it is something to keep in mind.

if you ask me why I'm talking about the supreme courts recent decisions but not similar decisions in other countries, the answer comes down to "one of those directly affects me, and therefore i can fight back."

but I shouldn't have to announce where and how I'm fighting back. if for no other reason, my own fucking safety. but also bc this blog isn't any sort of guide to activism, it's not any type instruction. it is, at best, my diary that I published.

and that isn't a bad thing!! and it shouldn't be!!! that's why I harped so hard on the carrd post. that's why I'm vaguely annoyed with my reddit posts. that's why I shared my marital status and sexuality for a long time. that's why i have a rwby icon. that's why my blog title which hasn't changed since 2018 is what it is.

I understand that sometimes I have opinions people don't like. oceangate in particular has proven to be a fantastic example of that. But i am, at the most basic terminology, venting my thoughts and feelings.

that's why I'm talking ab the supreme court and their awful decisions. why I may not be talking about issues that don't directly affect me, but might affect some of you. it's not because i don't care. It's never because I don't care.

It's because my target audience is a mirror.

Hello! I've been thinking of writing fanfics about a ship making them share the same body. It's going to be drabbles/one-shots tho, since I'm not good at writing (I barely ever write XD) and I don't think I would be able to write a full story with various chapters. I'm plural myself so I have a basic idea of what I should avoid (evil killer alter trope for example)

There's some ideas I came up with and would like some advice on writing the following:

In-system romantic relationships

DID systems

Median systems

Plurals fighting together as heroes

But there's something else I wanted to ask advice on (even if it isn't exactly for writing). See, I'm a native spanish speaker so I'm gonna write the drabbles in spanish. I think it could be a good way of introducing non-disordered and non-traumagenic plurality to other spanish speakers since most of the plural content and activism in spanish is about dissociative disorders only, but because of that there's many sysmeds and anti-endos and I don't know how I should deal with them.

I don't think I can ignore them, specially because I don't want them spreading misinformation (as always) in the comments but I also don't want to flood them debating sysmeds. I thought of maybe making a carrd (with sources) and linking it but IDK if it's actually worth it to make a carrd just for this.

In-system Romantic Relationships

Internal Romantic Relationships are almost the same as ones in the Outside. You can surprise each other with flowers, and presents that's to be THEIRS. You can hold them inside *and* out (when cofronting. It'll all just look a little different.

Person A wants to surprise Person B? Gotta make sure internal walls are built up so they don't know about the flowers until they're set up and they switch in. Have them leave notes for them with the sappy shit people would normally say to their face if there were two bodies involved.

Person A and B want to cuddle while watching a movie, it looks like hugging yourself, but maybe B has control of one arm, and is stroking the face or other hand. During sad parts, A hugs B (with the body) eeeeeeextra tight!

Plurals Fighting As Heroes

The mask a singlet would wear as a hero has multiple meanings once a system puts one on. So plan on the group having a long conversation about the name they all want to use that won't tip anyone off. Think System Name but opposite direction, so as not to be found out.

And same goes for the outfit, except you can probably lead with more of what the system members like in aesthetics.

And the elephant in the room, what about powers? Do they all have seperate (more nichely specific) powers? Do they all have the same one and use it differently? If you've seen the later seasons of My Hero Academia, there's a comparison to Midoriya you might find helpful.

Just make sure that if you include powers, that the way it fits into the world doesn't show your system to be Different because they're a system.

And last but not least (for my advice before additions)

If you're planning on writing some of the first creative representation of plurality, prepare to be the people that are looked to for information.

Set up a Caard or something akin to one with information, (credited and linked to sources!!!, Caards get a bad rep for that), and you can direct people to it like a FAQ.

And by taking on this role, you have to accept the risk that sysmeds are going to try to debate you. So deeply consider if you have the time to research responses that are backed up by studies that you can shut them down with. There are several blogs I've seen share information like this that you might find helpful in bringing it to the spanish side of fandom.

@cambriancrew is a fantastic place to start, and you can find more blogs akin to them there.

Rises from the dead just to share with you guys this super duper cute 20cm Sakura doll I custom-ordered from @cocopines (twitter || instagram) !!!

Super grateful to her for allowing me to be her first customer. She's been super fantastic at providing suggestions/advice whenever needed even during my design draft stage, and extremely proactive in making sure I'm okay with every change and the embroidery and materials!!

Coco also very kindly made an exception and gave the OK to clothes customisation because I just very badly wanted F/HA!Sakura (and ImaginaryAround!Sakura, but we don't talk about that yet) ;w; God knows how many pictures of Sakura I sent her way even though she wasn't familiar with the fandom at all.

so earlier i went out with my roomie and their family for their grandfather's birthday ( i was invited to come along since i've basically been adopted by their mother at this point lmao ) and tbh things were fantastic ... until one particular thing happened.

now i have it openly stated on my carrd here that i'm autistic, my roomie's family also knows this because i talk openly about my struggles with general shit, so when my roomie's brother in law started going on about one of his coworkers being " severely autistic " , and saying things like " she seemed perfectly fine " or " i'd know if my subordinates were autistic " among other things ...

maybe i'm being a little sensitive, but the way he said those things was extremely demeaning and left me feeling absolutely disgusting, as if being autistic is something that makes me and others like me less human because of something we can't control. it was ... fucking disgusting to put it lightly.

my roomie, fucking bless them and all that they are, got so fucking mad on my behalf because i was just sitting there trying to ignore what was being said for my own sake. they were ready to start yelling right there in the restaurant, but both of us bit our tongues and kept from making a scene because we were in public . yeah, the fucking guy was sitting there saying these things in public .

mind you, my roomie had also tried twice to get the guy to shut his mouth, as did their mum, yet he kept fucking going . like how are people this fucking dumb.

yeah, i'm kinda feeling a bit off ever since then, but it just proved to me how wonderful my roomie and their family are, especially since my roomie, their mum and their mother's partner all apologised profusely to me since the brother in law wouldn't.

i made my [website] with carrd. after making a free account you can make up to three sites with that domain. once you make an account you're presented with free and premium templates, and what my pages were made of was the 25# template in "sectioned" category. it's really easy to follow and the template has everything you need to learn set up!

Beefleaf Big Bang 2023 Writer Preview: KAZ

Hey, I'm Kaz (any pronouns)! I'm pretty new to the fandom but I got roped into reading tgcf when I was promised lots of tragedy and angst, needless to say I wasn't disappointed. Naturally, the blackwater arc altered my brain chemistry and beefleaf quickly became my number one ship, closely followed by quanyin because of course, I'm a sucker for pain. I joined this big bang because I've recently started getting back into writing fics again after mostly roleplaying for years and had a bunch of ideas for beefleaf! Something shifts beneath her and she blinks herself awake. It doesn’t feel like she’s slept at all. It doesn’t feel like she’s fully awake yet either. “Hm?” “Sun’s rising. It’s bedtime.” A voice says, and He Xuan is speaking so softly to her that it makes her heart flutter a little, so she just nuzzles back into her pillow (their thigh) and pretends to be asleep. She’s willing them not to make her move, not when she’s sleeping so peacefully. “Qingxuan,” They start. She doesn’t react, not because she’s not awake, but because she doesn’t want to move. A hand with cool fingers pulls some hair out of her face, and she wills herself to stay still, no matter how much she kind of wants to lean into the touch. Leaning into the touch would just be crazy, right? Who does that? They move again and she lets herself be manhandled into… Into their lap? She should hate this, but instead, she just has to look. The room is brighter than normal, a little bit of the morning light is starting to stream in through the windows and she feels a little bit insane, the cool glow lights up He Xuan’s features so fantastically. Their hair looks dark like ink, like a raven, and it has a soft shine to it. She wants to touch it, but she’s supposed to be pretending to sleep. All vampires are strong, and they’ve picked her up twice now, but this is… They have pulled her into their lap so that their arms can loop under her legs and around her waist, and then they just… Stand. They just stand up so easily. It’s not surprising, except it is, except it’s really nice. This feels like a dream. Maybe it is a dream. She doesn’t feel fully awake yet. Being carried around a sexy vampire’s mansion princess-style is absolutely something her subconscious would dream up, no matter how abhorrent the idea would be to her family. She screws her eyes shut again before He Xuan can notice that she’s awake. An exaggerated “Humph” escapes her lips and she turns her face into their chest to hide her smile. This is terrible. If He Xuan keeps being cute like this, she’s definitely going to develop a crush. Her heart is hammering in her chest. Is this Stock Market Syndrome, or whatever it’s called? No, because anyone in this situation would surely feel the same. This is adorable. They’re carrying her to bed! She can’t stop smiling so her face remains buried in He Xuan’s chest and god, yeah, that’s really nice, and they smell good. This is nice. This is perfect, actually. It’s over far too soon when they arrive at her room and they… Oh gods, she’s done for. They open up the sheets and place her down in them gently! So gently! They make sure her head gets to the pillow and holy shit, there it is again, pulling her hair back out of her face! If she wasn’t already dying inside, they then proceeded to pull the covers up around her and tuck her in. They tucked her in! She thinks she does a marvellous job of pretending that she is asleep until she hears them snort out a laugh. “Go back to sleep,” They say, and her eyes shoot open. It’s really dark in the room, but she thinks maybe there’s a hint of a smile in their voice. Fuck. She’s so fucked.

In today's episode of 'Two Drumsticks Get Lost At Sea' me and Kryo are off in Sultifera to figure out EX-8. I would have helped him between 5 and 7, too but somebody decided that they want to be sneaky sneaky about it and go without me.

Thankfully, I overheard his operators screaming in the background and figured the best time to drop the Carrd I'm working on and help out is now. Like a friend who, you know, cares.

Vendetta aside, I had no other ideas beside watching Kyo and then incorporating it into Kryo's desired and available team. And that means I have to make it sound like it's high end without making it seem like a low end becuase sometimes he can't brute his way out of it.

Such occasions are funny, because conversations such as

Me: "Get Nightingale." Kryo: "Which skill?" Me: "Uh..." Kryo: "Is it green or blue." Me: *Glances at guide*

Me: "Blue." Kryo: "Does it have a shield?" Me: "It sure does."

happens so naturally.

The longer you are a Doctor the better you learn how to lie with a straight face.

He got his high end team and (eventually) my Honeyberry, we learned what the Brambles are, the Roomba is, who the Priest is and the Jellyfish and he got to witness why two pixels matter.

Because someone had to be stubborn and insist that Nearlalter should stand on the second tile to the second red exit (top to bottom) on the right, which eventually scuffed the entire scenario. Since, wouldn't you know it, the boss swallows up the wrong rune.

Guideknights worked out too, though and I even did CM on my own. I don't remember my mindset 10 months ago, but I know I didn't have a lappland and that meant CM was hell.

So much has happened on Dr. Evealia's Rhodes so far, it's a small miracle that we're still the same after all.

And this is my team. Of which, the run was absolutely fantastic.
