This is exactly what that fool would come up with, I feel it in my bones. It's pretty, it's impractical, it's ridiculous. The little danglies aren't silver, they're clear. They're cubic zirconia. It’s that time of the month again!! Here’s a few fics I read in June ✨ It’s a bit of a short list for June because I got sucked into a new ship *cough tarlos cough* – but we’re only halfway through this month and I already know July’s post is probably going to be pretty long! Fall Into You by lucy_in_the_sky I’m a sucker for fics where Henry’s a nurse – combine that with hurt/comfort and I’m there. Alex is a tad clumsy and of course it’s Henry that’s having to deal with patching him up. Also a big fan of Nora’s characterization in this fic! I truly loved this fic so much – definitely one I’ll be coming back to a lot in the future. 

i'd lie by greenandmoss Wow this fic was amazing – I can’t describe how much I loved it. I really felt for Henry in this fic – at times I wanted to shake him so bad, but also I understood where he was coming from. This fic was so beautifully written and was one of those fics that had me thinking about it long after I'd finished 😌

pride is not the word i’m looking for by @livinginrhythm This fic made me realize we’re severely lacking in Leo content. I loved reading something from Leo’s POV and getting more of insight into his character! This is a lovely must read

group therapy by @stutteringpeach This one is hilarious – but it also made me want to sink deep into the ground from second-hand embarrassment. That didn’t stop me from rereading it at least 5 times though 😅

Tell Me All Your Secrets by @everwitch-magiks I have to admit I was apprehensive about reading a fic where Henry dates Liam 😂 but I love everything Evie writes so I knew I was going to love this story regardless of my initial feelings on Henry/Liam. Knowing that it’s Henry/Alex end game was reassuring though, and the progression to that point was very satisfying! (The pining!!) I loved how New York Prite was featured in this fic and seeing Henry & Alex attend was so lovely. 

The Spirit of Giving by @cha-melodius They're neighbours in this fic (which I'm always down for 😂) and I loved how Alex's competitive side really comes out in this! Also fair warning this fic will make you crave some good Mexican food 🥲

and then i was a careless fool (and i fell in love with you) by newmoonrising A canon divergence fic where Henry is still a Prince and Alex is still the First son but make it a Soulmate AU (with a touch of bed sharing)! As someone who loves soulmate fics I don't know how I hadn't discovered this gem sooner ❤️

you took the time to memorize me (my fears, my hopes, my dreams) by @coffeecatsme Alex is a tour guide and I love how their relationship develops even though there’s so much physical distance between them. I didn’t know it was possible but this fic made me hate Mary even more 😩

21. When do you think they were at their happiest?

I’d say in the Curse of El Guapo when he was promoted to captain because just look at him here I—

He has everything he ever wanted by/during this ceremony: his father is proud of him, other guards accepted him, he’s being promoted by his friend who inspired him to be himself, he feels like his hard work he put into being a guard is acknowledged. He has new possibilities and a new position in which he has a chance to grow.

I think his promotion to general counts too. But for some reason I think being promoted to captain was more emotional both in general and for Gabe.

22. When do you think they were at their lowest?

I’d say in Crash Course after Bronzino’s “betrayal” if I can call it as such.

This little arc of Gabe doubting his position as Captain is one of the rare ongoing arcs Gabe has (even if it’s brought up only in two episodes) so it makes it easier to imagine what he might have felt after Doña Paloma outright erased all of his previous achievements and made him question his worth.

I think Bronzino’s appearance and his capability to teach the guards magic was a beacon of hope for Gabe since it was exactly what he needed to make up for his mistakes. This is the reason why he rushed so much in this episode. He basically was desperate which made him act “off” and eventually it turned out he was fooled, so I’d say this is actually when we see him at his lowest.

24. What do you think is a secret they have that they never told anyone?

But if we’re being serious, I don’t think Gabe canonically has secrets. He might not talk much about himself or his emotions, for example, but it cannot be considered a secret because he’s not hiding it intentionally, he’s just not talking about it. If someone asks him to tell something about himself, I’m pretty sure he’ll answer it (honestly, I feel like Elena didn’t even know that Gabe’s parents were bakers until the Olaball episode XD but as I said, there’s no way he hid it, nobody just asked him, and he didn’t have the right moment to tell anyone).

So, if I need to make it up…

He learnt how to play the trumpet when Shuriki was still a queen. Yes, many canon characters might know he can play it, but Gabe never told (and is not going to tell) anyone he picked it up when it was illegal.

26. When do you think they were being "themselves" the most?

I have three episodes.

I think the first episode where we see Gabe being himself is The Princess Knight. After he opened up to Elena in Olaball, Gabe felt a lot more comfortable around her and it clearly affected the way he acted towards her afterwards. In this episode he’s being outspoken and sassy with her which is the way he never treated her before yet it came off absolutely natural to him. We see him as a great swordsman and a strategist (!) which is an integral part of him (and oh my goodness he actually shines and doesn’t even get overlooked!). We also get to see his softer and protective side, so really, this episode shows Gabe from all the positive angles of his personality (and can I just say that I’m absolutely not normal about Gabe and Francisco).

Another episode is Snow Place Like Home. Gabe has such a minor role there but isn’t it absolutely gorgeous. I think this is actually the first time when we see Gabe as a leader. Yes, he takes on a leadership role in the Scepter of Night, for example (unsuccessfully, though), but in this episode we see him as a guard leader. He’s focused on completing the mission yet he’s being caring to his troop and cheers them up when they feel gloomy, not afraid of being a bit silly with them. This episode really is the display of the quote “as a captain, you need to be a great soldier and a great person”, and it does describe Gabe better than anything else.

And the last episode is Coronation Day, specifically the scene of Gabe defeating Vuli and Yolo. In this battle he combines both his swordsmanship skills which, as I already said, is a very big part of him and the use of magic which is both the display of how open-minded he actually is and how far he’s come throughout the course of his journey. Not to mention that he’s finally proven to everyone and to himself that he’s a worthy guard and a leader without trying too hard. It happened naturally.

27. If they could meet a character from another show/movie/etc, who would be the most fun for them to meet?

Oh Galavant, obviously. They would become best friends, I don’t even doubt it.

Sokka, as a part of the Gabe Galavant Sokka triad because I love all three and they’re too similar ajhdnfj.

Nobody but you and me knows him, but Prince Charles, definitely.

And I feel like he would become great friends with Hannah Montana.

28. The most unnecessary thing they ever did?

gojo loves infinite loop reader's inner strength. i'll get more into this when i write the fic where they meet (or the one right after) but when they first met gojo just thought infinite loop reader was just another weakling despite that they did do something to catch his eye so in a way from that point he was a bit fond of them. there's a key interaction they have in their late teens that really made him look properly at them i suppose. in the sense of like 'oh wow this person is actually kind of cool.'

he's also a freak and he loves that while reader is very cordial and... easy going with basically everyone else. he's the only one who really ruffles their feathers and gets them on edge. he loves it when they deny him and tell him no purely because he's the only one who they'll just outright refuse which is actually hilarious when it comes to play when like. okay say gojo asks reader to lunch. reader tells him to go by himself. then he finds out reader is going to lunch with someone else. he will just appear and insert himself there. gojo is known for this kind of thing so even if reader is exasperated gojo won't get an earful unless it was like. something personal or whatever (read: someone asking reader to go to lunch to ask them something Serious). i'd like to say that he likes that reader treats him very honestly, which is like 'but wait doesn't reader like him?' they're very conflicted in how they feel so i think that it shows... like they're harsh but they clearly don't hate him. something like that.

Anyways, because I’ve had a shitty week and I seemed to be painfully missing them, I decided to sit my ass down, and between Netflix shows, life and unhealthy snacking, I began to write a “Story”.

A peculiar story of two ordinary, but not so ordinary, young men. An ongoing story collecting unbelievably cute, and sometimes rather extraordinary, facts. A based-on-real-facts story, very much built on the occurrence and development of events by chance in a happy or beneficial way, otherwise also known as; Serendipity.

Hence, as every respectable book, I'll begin with providing you with the following table of contents:

[PROLOGUE] - 35.1796°N, 129.0756°E 

[CHAPTER 1] - Lucky Number 13 

[CHAPTER 2] - The Dancer who could Sing & The Singer who could Dance

[CHAPTER 3] - Just Let Me Love You … Please Love Me

[END OF MY STORY] - Thinking. Loving. Clicking.

Great! So Let's start now, shall we?

・35.1796°N, 129.0756°E 

The planet is Earth, the coordinates are 35ish degrees North, 129ish degrees East, and the dates are two: October 13, 1995 and September 1, 1997. During these two particular sets of dates, two boys, who’s destinies would be almost magically intertwined, were born. Because of them and five others, life would never be the same for many citizens on planet Earth, but even more specifically, for the boys themselves.

Now, even though both families had quite different backgrounds and life scenarios, coincidentally, they raised the boys within environments that were very loving and which fostered and encouraged freedom of expression and self though “one’s self” is very hard to grasp at the very beginning stages of your life. Nevertheless, at first glance, the boys grew up to be almost quite the opposite of each other. For example the older boy, Park Jimin (JM), shaped himself into becoming quite versed in plenty of disciplines, on top of becoming a model student. He would also turn out to be an extrovert who didn’t believe in fate.

On the other hand the younger one, Jeon Jungkook (JK), who also was unbelievably talented and had interest in a plethora of activities, would not find much interest in academics. He’d then be known to be quite the introvert with a deep believe in fate.

I know what you are thinking 😌… It sounds exactly like the plot of that one guilty pleasure coming-of-age romance we all REALLY love to read/watch maybe secretly, doesn't it? The one where the geeky girl/boy/enby end up with the badass girl/boy/enby after meeting at their worst but deciding to stay together for an unforeseen best. But this is most definitely how this story begins. Coincidence? Fate? Who knows right? Now, if we were to take a step further and imagine them as “complete polar opposites”, Angel & Demons if you may, and mind you, do not be fooled by the intrinsic nature of said beings there’s plenty of devilish angels and goodwilled demons, at this point, you might be wondering:

How did this ethereal genius 👆🏾manage to cross paths with this underworld prodigy 👇🏾?

And now back to reality. Basically, how did an extrovert nonbeliever manage to connect with an introvert believer? Well, being that they were born and did live at the same set of coordinates, 35.1796°N, 129.0756°E, also known as Busan, they must have bumped into each other at some point. Right? I mean this would be the obvious “encounter scenario” in this movie genre. Right?

Wrong..

Eventually, in the Spring of 2011, JK would travel all the way to the capital, Seoul, in order to begin the pursuit of his own dreams, and so would JM, in Spring of 2012, a whole year later. As fate, or chance, would want it, their dream-chasing destination would lead them to the exact same destination: Big Hit Entertainment. There, they would join 5 other talented boys and, unbeknownst to them, would ultimately become one of the biggest group of all time.

Anyways, let me go ahead and post this, because 1899 is regrettably for all of you HELLA INTERESTING and I really wanna watch a couple of episodes more 😬😬. As for the rest of the chapters, I do believe I want to write it all in the next post (or maybe 2 posts max) and if luck wants it to be so, it might be later on today! But I won’t let you wait for too long at least I’ll try not to.

So for now, I just saw that Taekook's RUN BTS challenge has just been uploaded, so let's go and enjoy that! (... even in the darkness of it all, Tae looks like a snacc NGL).

'ello! I'm very much active on my personal tumblr, that which houses my other current tastes, heehee! I'm still active here occassinally as well, there just hasn't been much to be active about! BigBang men sort of just doing their own things, eh? Nothing too shocking as of late... As for Daesung, hah! I knew I made the right choice when I chose him as bias😌wahaha! Aha but no for real yes it has been very very nice to see the ot4 trashboat sinkage brought upon by none other than predominantly Daesung and Top, the two members I'd say most ot4s stanned/stan. Like, just, yes. Yes. I do find Top quite annoying, but it's kinda endearing lol. Honestly what always annoyed me most and why I shit on him so much is his fans/BigBang fans in general. Top did/does so much worth criticizing, more so than any of the other members I'd say, and yet you can't say a word against him; meanwhile it's open season on the others, especially Seungri and Daesung. Please block all those people, who are sending you weird asks. This person seems petty and it seems trying were to insult us for liking anime and other media. Whereas they will go on to stalk and insult a real actor, who played a favorite character of their's in his mid 20s or 30s. And complain about his weight gain and how he doesn't look as young and ethereal. Another thing, many men shave their beard and mustache because they want to, because it's their body. That doesn't mean they aren't men. A canonically old character is old.

I sorry sweetie, i just woke up. When i saw those fools harassing you and @acefaun i just couldn't stop myself from writing this. I guess people just can't take jokes these days, everything has to be serious.

I agree with every word you've said. These people think they're entitled to stick their noses in other people's business and shame them for liking totally harmless things.

I only received one ask like that (the one you saw) and like I said: I reported them and blocked them. I trust Tumblr with that and it also gives you the option to type in your issue, so it makes the whole process of reporting so much easier and practical for both the users and them.

Don't feel bad for writing this💖💖 I'm happy you felt free to voice your opinion with me. For real though, these days people can lash out at you over a harmless joke (actually harmless.) That's why I don't interact with fandoms other than SCM or comment on any videos/pictures on social media. I feel safe in the SCM fandom, while in other fandoms, I'd have to deal with a bunch of idiots thinking it's so cool to bully people for liking something different from you.

Hello, I'm so happy that you like my blog. I'm very new to this so I'm very nervous so really thank you for the kind words. Ever since I was 12 I found a love for writing, I used to write in journals and believe it or not was writing a story that would never be shared with the public, if it ever did I'd want to disappear cause my writing then is way different than how it is now. I found episode, a place where I can create stories but I didn't start right away cause the rule was that you had to be at least 13 to write a story so I waited and 9 discontinued stories later, I have a story out that I love. One thing about me back then is I get so nervous with my writing that I end up taking it down like with the fic I posted, I was very nervous to put it up cause I didn't know if people would like it and my friend was like supporting me to put it up.

Avatar is one of my fav fandoms, I remember how much I loved avatar when it came out and my mom and I went to watch it in the movie theaters and it was just so good. I didn't even know more were coming till December when my mom told me about it and it's crazy I watch the big bang theory and in one of the episodes a character said "Why are they making four new Avatar movies" and that really flew over my head til I watched that episode on a rewatch and I was shocked. My favorite characters. have always been Jake and Neytiri even when I was 10? I was a fool for romance. So they're still my fav in Avatar 2 I hated Tsu'tey at first but as I watched it again getting older, I understood why he was the way he was. I love him now. In the new movie, the characters that made my fave list were Neteyam, Lo'ak, Tsireya, Tuk, Kiri, and Roxto. Ao'nung didn't reach my favorites until after reading fanfics of him.

The characters I'm comfortable writing are: Jake, Neytiri, Tsu'tey, Kiri, Tsireya, Lo'ak, Neteyam, Ao'nung, Tonowari, Ronal, and Rotxo

Again thank you for the kind words, it's nice to know that I'm doing something right. I didn't know how it would go if I shared my writing with people and especially about a movie I really care about and I know down the line I might write for other fandoms. Then one day in the future, I'll work up the courage to release a novel (this has always been a dream of mine)

oh gosh, yeah, for sure! i'd love to finally start my evermore series that i've been working on for literally more than a year. so i'll try and post at least the first fic in the series – joon's – sometime early 2023! 🤍

there was one more idea i had that i almost wrote, but the thought of it alone hurt a lot, so i never really got into it much. it was basically about single dad jk who lost his wife during childbirth years ago and resents his daughter for that. it's basically about his relationship to his little one – based on the anime clannad which is one of my favourites!

For tiny scene Sunday: Two characters at a bubble tea place just hanging out. Maybe playing cards, maybe chatting, just doing friend stuff. 😌

(if I didn't do the tiny scene Sunday suggestion thing right lmk because I'm new to this kind of thing ;^^)

"Alright! Here is your very boring unbubbly tea and also the tart you were too dumb to ask for for." Savannah plopped down across from Irina with a beleaguered sigh.

"I didn't want anything, and I said so," Irina said, taking her strawberry tea with stiff fingers. "Was everyone else really busy or is this some kind of divine punishment?"

As per usual, Irina sported a haze of juxtaposing colors behind her words, and today they were radiant violent and orange peel. Savannah stabbed her tea with a zeal she felt was justified.

"Punishment or not, we're here, so just enjoy your drink and try not to judge every twelve year-old that comes in here, okay?"

Irina bled scarlet as she unzipped her pen pouch. "Just like you're not judging me right now for existing, right?"

"That's different," Savannah answered, sipping and chewing her tea. "I'm not judging you on purpose. If I don't know identify your colors right away it's too easy to get lost in the conversation."

"When do we ever have a conversation long enough for you to feel that many colors?"

"The conversation could be nonexistent," Savannah snapped, talking through her pearls. "And I'd still feel everything. You're a constant rainbow but not the pleasant, orderly kind."

Irina wasn't even writing, just writing her name over and over. "Not everyone can be pleasant to you all the time."

"Yes, but anyone can be more pleasant than you at least some of the time."

The violet had swallowed the orange, which was saying something because orange hardly ever faded easily. Savannah slurped her tea, trying to be more noisy than Irina's errant thoughts and failing.

"You could just not try and read me."

"I don't read you, you're a poster taped to my face in every offensive shade." Their conversations rarely went well, and this wasn't even a new low, but Savannah still wished she'd taken Cal up on his offer to act as referee, even if it wasn't really fair to him.

Irina stopped writing pretty letters and set her pen down. Of course even when she was upset her penmanship was excellent. Her voice came out coated in stale purple. "I didn't ask to be understood."

"No," Savannah said, and she didn't really want to acknowledge the underlying emotions attached to that sentence, but the scarlet was back, muddying the waters and turning Irina's thoughts to a heavy void. "No, but you feel it in everything you don't say, and I could ignore it, I could tune it out, but it's there all the time. All you want is to be understood. You just don't like that you have to give explanations for that to happen."

The strawberry tea had remained untouched. It was such a pretty shade of pink. Why couldn't Irina ever be cast in pretty shades? Why did her insides mismatch her outsides?

"Did you have something you actually wanted to talk about, when you asked me to come here? Or were you waiting to pounce on me with unfortunate truths?" Irina finally took a sip of her tea, eyes looking everywhere but across from her.

Savannah sighed again, but this time it wasn't for dramatic effect. "Yeah, I wanted to talk about Daniel's new thing for wearing more than one outfit in a day."

And just like that, all the scarlet and off-purple sunk out of Irina's haze and her signature magenta and gold came blossoming in. "I think he's doing on purpose, waiting for someone to say something."

"Right? He does so many things on purpose for a reaction, but this is extra calculated. I think he must be planning something, and this is a distraction."

"You can't read him?" Irina actually leaned across the table a little, pushing her swinging hair back impatiently.

Savannah rolled her eyes. "I can't read secret plans in someone's emotions, Irina."

She shrugged. "Could've fooled me."

yeah, it had to be Savannah because she loves bubble tea, and her dynamic with Irina is just too fascinating, so uh, angsty friendship?
