Forbid
'If, -God forbid- anything happens to the both of us, we hereby declare Sirius Orion Black and Remus John Lupin to be the *only* people allowed to gain custody over our son.'
Remus clenches his jaw as he watches the realisation sink in. These are the final words of Lily and James Evans-Potter. Their final wishes. And they're read 3 years too late. 3 years, in which an innocent man has been locked away in hell on earth. 3 years, in which his nephew has been hidden away with the foulest sort of people. 3 years, in which Remus hasn't smiled. 3 years of fighting the highest institution of wizarding society.
3 years of tears, anxiety, and hopelessness. And he'd do this for 3 more years if it meant seeing the way Sirius' posture deflated when the verdict rang through the room. He'd take 3 more years if it meant he'd get to experience the thrill of getting to bring his boys home. He'd take 3 extra years if it meant he could relive the moment that one word was spoken.
"Innocent."

how good/bad is odette at 🔪 — melee weapons ?
Getting better everyday! She's got one of the best mentors in @iron-sparrow! And their growing collection of students and friends means she's has an ample supply of sparring buddies. Even if she has to wore them about the crying -- which usually happens after, when the adrenalin drops.
She can old her own! Her very small statue, her fatness, and her general demeanor leads people to underestimate her. But she's very light on her feet and she's capable of shrugging off powerful hits.
Thank you for the ask!

For transsexual thursday
I've gone to study biology in university and these first two weeks have been the kindest, most accepting in my life. For all the screeching about basic biology actual biologists sure don't agree lmao
The most beautiful part of the sciences is just how little you realize you know. "Basic biology" in the way that people use it is not, in fact, basic. Biology is not divine, but it sure as fuck is fascinating and so beautiful

Do you ever think about the fact that Max and Nancy are the only two for whom the Upside Down deaths have been personal? For Nancy, it's more than once, really. Like, ST has been absolutely traumatizing for everyone, but they are the only two to have lost. (Before the end of S4)
The way they dealt with that trauma is both so similar and completely different. Max shut down and completely pulled away from everyone. Nancy actually semi-reached out to both Jonathan and Steve, but THEY shut her down that first year. Otherwise, Nancy has repressed and hidden from it every year since. They are both so unimaginably angry, but despite outside perceptions, much of that anger is directed inwards. They never took that trauma and frustration out on others, not really, in an incredible show of goodness.
Anyway, I could go on and on, but my point is really... I wish they had real scenes together. They should be allowed to sit down together and talk and cry.

Because it's relevant for the next starter I post.
Bluey ilia verse stuff:
She's a Nova Scotia duck tolling retriever
She's adopted by Dr. Sung, a Shih Tzu, and moved to Australia from america for a fresh start.
She's 5 and in kindy. No powers, no massive trauma, just adopted and shy.
I have zero icons we just vibe.

you aren't a good white conservative gay who's made all the right decisions and dislikes pride and sex and saying slurs who has rightfully weeded the impure transgenders, fags, dykes, microlabel users, out of your clean healthy community to be cleaned off the street by laws and bans and police, you are gay and eventually they'll be coming for you too and you won't have all of the freaks and leftists and trannys and undesirables who were once in your community to help you then. you will be all alone and they will want you just as dead as the rest of us

oh my goood maniii it's the way that her sole act of kindness if not curiosity in letting dark out of her labryinth is something that could have contributed to dark's mentality of avoidance (don't get too close to me because we can't be together/it's dangerous) because he'd take the blame for failing to do anything to stop mani's destruction just as much as he'd immediately hate the hikari enough to betray them and start stealing. no one in the entirety of the series haunting the narrative harder than mani to me. shes the event horizon shes the lilith the pandora who opened up the metaphorical 'box' elmroot is always taking about that incited the metaphorical 'fall', the flaws evils and miseries released into the world (a la dark, who again, as the fallen angel is symbolic of this both as human flaw + sin) and the cultural revolution. i love her so unbelievably much
