I’m gonna go insane, Ruby snaps and finally lets her feelings out and STILL she is overshadowed, Jaune doesn’t mean it, he doesn’t mean to draw the attention, the care, she so dearly needs away, after all he needs that too.

But, imagine being Ruby, you’ve been struggling with crushing guilt for so, so, SO long and you’ve been masking and smiling and been scared to open up because you’re the leader even though you’re the youngest. And you finally snap, you’re in a world that seems to make everyone but you better, a world you know nothing about, where you can’t even defend yourself, you are raw and you are saying things you don’t mean and perhaps it’s a relief to snap like this, because you are finally letting out out.

And then Jaune comes, and you just insulted him something fierce while he was vulnerable, but he crosses a line that cuts you deeper than anything else you’ve experienced.

“It’s always been about you.”

And he’s right, but it’s not a good thing. It’s never been a good thing, it’s always been about you because it’s always been about getting hurt, about surviving while others perish, it’s always been about you because you’re a kid and the world keeps shoving it’s weight onto you, it’s always been about you because you need to be okay so others are okay. Ruby doesn’t WANT it to always be about her, that’s why she snaps, and Jaune says that to her and they’re supposed to get each other, they’re leaders after all. So surely he, of all people, can understand that. But he is hurt and so in that moment he doesn’t.

And your team does not defend you, yes you lashed out at them, but still, they do not protect you, they do not prioritize you when you’re finally being transparent about how not okay you are. Care has been dangled just in reach only to be snatched away. They focus on Jaune, and you’re so hurt that you can’t see why they would do that, that they’re calming Jaune down first so he doesn’t say anything worse to you.

You are alone, again. Only your weapon and a mouse by your side, it’s like before Beacon all over again, it’s like when you got to Beacon and you can’t tried to stay close to your sister because you aren’t good with people and you’re young and you need safe familiarity and she leaves you alone to fumble through your first day in which you just can’t seem to do anything right.

And as I think about this and write it out, there’s so much for Ruby to have been holding back on. Tai shutting down, her sister who stepped up when Tai couldn’t almost getting the two of you KILLED on a quest to find her mom after you’ve lost your mom and her other mom, not being able to connect with people, that’s just the tip of the iceberg, the beginning of her life.

Red Like Roses Part 2 is Ruby singing to the ghost of her mother about how betrayed she felt and how much she misses her, and her mothers ghost apologizes yes, but goes on to say that Ruby should’ve understood, that she didn’t have a choice, trying to make Ruby understand that she didn’t want to leave her. But that’s not what a child who’s lost their parent wants to hear, they want to hear ‘I understand you, I’m sorry, your emotions are valid’ just words of comfort.

From a young age Ruby has had to step up, just as Yang did. She had to be the happy one, because if she isn’t happy then everyone else is going to be miserable. So long as she’s happy then her sister and her father can feel relief and be happy. And she never stops acting that way, others before herself, others before herself, Ruby is always putting others before herself because she probably doesn’t even know HOW to open up properly.

Ruby snapped and in response she was told, not purposefully, ‘shut up everything’s about you even if it’s bad everything is your fault so you aren’t allowed to complain’ and in her eyes no one comes to her defence. She’s been passing out and having panic attacks since she got to the Ever After and her sister, the one who basically raised her, who’s always been there for her, is more concerned with a girl liking her than the situation they’re in.

Yes, Ruby’s no doubt happy for them, but when you’re hurting badly and it feels so obvious for everyone to see and you are begging for someone to see without speaking and they don’t see and instead focus on ‘frivolous’ things and also your sister now has someone else to care about, even if things had been normal Im sure a part of Ruby would’ve, at least at the beginning, been resentful or just upset because Blake takes Yang’s attention away from her. After all, Yang and Ruby are siblings, all Ruby’s ever had before Beacon is Yang. But here and now, when she’s coming apart, it’s a kick in the teeth.

She had to give up Penny’s sword, then everyone left her, no weapon and not okay not familiar with this strange place, alone to find something when at least ONE of them could’ve stayed by your side. But they didn’t and you had to give up a symbol of your mothers broken promise because you were left alone and the world you’re in took advantage of that.

The petals on the roses have wilted, leaving only the thorny bush, a bush stained with the blood of those you love. Isn’t that hideous? Isn’t that monstrous?

Are you a monster now? Would it be better if you were? Would it be better if you split in two? All the ugly turning into something else so you can just be the good leader you need to be? Even if the ugly includes your emotions, your feelings?

I want to see the Ever After twist Ruby into something dangerous, I want her to be a monster, I want her to lash out with claws as she breaks down and for her to get it all out and finally, finally, get some peace. To shed the skin of a monster once it’s over.

Maybe it’s my own past experiences and feelings, but I just want Ruby to be able to let out her pain guilt free, for her loved ones to take it and still reach out to her in the end.

I doubt that’ll happen, but I really hope that Ruby doesn’t just come back and apologize, I hope that next she sees her friends that angry pain is still there needing to be dealt with.

Listen. I'm going FUCKING. INSANE. because it seems like almost no one on the internet gives a shit about Shy Baldwin/Reggie Harris from The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, which boggles my mind because like ???? they're in love?????? and their relationship is so compelling??

And what we see of what becomes of Shy's story is so tragic obviously but to me it also hints at potential for him and Reggie to maybe someday get out of showbiz and be together. And from what I can tell, no one in fandom TALKED ABOUT THISSSS when season 4 came out!!! What the fuck!!!!! This is maddening!!!

So. I'm making this post mostly to get this off my chest and as a yell into the void. Because maybe somewhere, someday, someone else will ALSO be searching tumblr to see even a glimpse of content about these 2 exceedingly compelling characters, and I will write this so that I save that person the despair of coming up empty-handed like I am.

I'm also gonna drag other people down with me if anyone who hasn't seen this show happens to be curious enough to read this, so in that vein, I will cover some basics to outline this. Because I want to TALK ABOUT THEM despite most of this being obvious and no one giving a shit, Goddammit!!

(Spoilers or whatever I guess but who cares)

This is Shy Baldwin. He's a singer (clearly) and canonically a Black gay man who (obviously) has to hide his sexuality because this is set in the 60s.

This is Reggie Harris, Shy's manager and longtime best friend.

This is how Reggie introduces himself:

Let me tell you what kind of manager I am, Susie Myerson and Associates. I've been looking after Shy since we were kids tossing rocks in vacant lots. We was running numbers for Stephanie St. Clair before we were ten. When he found his singing, I collected the money, kept him out of trouble, kept people from bumping him. I'll be at his side when he draws his last breath unless I get there first. I would lay down my life for him. That's what's going on here. You hear me?

In episode 3, they casually sing "Is You Is or Is You Ain’t My Baby" together just for fun.

INSANE harmonies. And their flirty banter in this whole 1 minute long scene makes me want to eat my own arm.

Anyway... hold those thoughts.

So, Midge Maisel (the titular character) is the opener for Shy on tour with her comedy act in season 3. The show reveals in episode 3x06 that Shy is gay, in a scene where Midge finds him bruised and bleeding because he hooked up with a guy and it went sideways. Shy comes out to her as part of his explanation, and she helps cover up the bruises on his face with makeup so he can get on stage that night.

That leads to him doing a sitting "stool set" with slower songs because his ribs are fucked so he can't stand/dance, and the unsubtle song the show has him sing is "No One Has To Know."

The clip isn't even on Youtube, which is indicative of how much I'm suffering with how under-appreciated Shy's storyline is, but you can listen to the song here or on Spotify.

^^^ Literally the whole song is like this / about being gay but that's a piece of it.

Thankfully Tumblr user microclown made several GIFs. Here are two.

Clearly, obviously, this is deliberately not subtle. Everything telegraphs that Shy is in love with Reggie.

Now, considering wider context of Shy hooking up with a random man etc., one could be forgiven for thinking it's meant to be seen as unrequited love... but I really don't think that's the case. I think there's a delicious undercurrent of angst that ties into how Reggie tells Susie (Midge's manager) at various times throughout the season that their job is to make the hard decisions on behalf of their clients, and Reggie references making hard decisions on Shy's behalf or for Shy, because his job is to do what's best for Shy even at the times Shy doesn't like it. So... are they in love and Reggie tries to keep them from properly being Together to protect Shy? And/or does Shy think his love is unrequited at this point? Lots of room to play there.

So now comes the part that no one's talking about!

More explanation: season 3 ends with Midge being very straight and very white as she does a comedy routine in which she makes way too many cheeky references that out Shy as gay on stage if you know gay-related coding/lingo. There are Reasons why she sort of panics and does this, and the audience loves her jokes, but that is very much Not The Point. She's fired from the rest of the tour as a result–rightfully so.

In season 4, it's announced that Shy is suddenly getting married to his longtime girlfriend and it's totally a publicity stunt 🙃 Midge and Susie are invited to the wedding... but not by Shy; by the team of straight white dude management who stepped in to control Shy's every move in the name of "helping him to stay on the straight and narrow" to keep his career on the rails. Midge's fuck up gave them the opportunity they needed to control him. (Shy and Midge end up reuniting in a bathroom at the reception but we won't be unpacking that conversation and how I disagree with how Midge leaves things between them).

So the suits invite Midge and Susie to the wedding so they can escort them to a side room and have a meeting with them, and they try to pay them off to sign an NDA. (Midge declines for them both, saying she will keep her silence for the sake of Shy, not for the suits.) Come to find out that that management team also forced Shy to pay off / fire his entire band–who were shown to be like family to him throughout the tour in season 3–and also forced him to pay off / fire Reggie.

LOU: Look, he's a good guy, Reggie. I like him. But he's too close with Shy to control him. There's too much history.

...

SUSIE: Reggie got Shy to where he is now. You realize that?

LOU: Reggie's taken care of. Big severance. We threw him some publishing. He's buying a house in Westchester. Everybody's happy.

SUSIE: Oh, I bet. 'Cause when you think Reggie, you think Westchester.

Here's the obvious thing: Shy and Reggie clearly had no choice in this matter.

There's no way in hell that Reggie would have left Shy willingly. Absolutely no Goddamn way in hell. Whether he's in love with him or not, Shy is "his boy" (his words, repeatedly) and he said "I'll be at his side when he draws his last breath unless I get there first." That was his character introduction! Holy shit!

But here's my hot take: I DO think Reggie is in love with Shy, and I do think he intends to keep that promise of being by his side as much as possible. And I'll tell you why.

At the wedding, Shy sings a short excerpt from his new single to his new wife:

Come close to me, baby Cool as the river When you're here in my arms Manhattan's getting dimmer I know it sparkles, too But city lights don't shine as bright as you

Once again the clip is not on Youtube and I am suffering.

There are a few more lines from the song in that episode referencing Paris and Rome (where Shy and Reggie and the band went on tour in season 3...), but it's a piece of a longer song. We thankfully have the song in full, here or on Spotify:

And in the episode, Shy says on stage that the song was written by Reggie.

"You just heard a little of my new single. And it's a special one because the lyrics were written by my boy Reggie Harris. Which is fitting because that man's been putting words in my mouth since we were kids begging his grandmom to buy us ice cream.

This makes me FUCKING FERAL.

Especially because of the lyrics in the full version of the song... which, as it turns out, is all about giving up fame and the spotlight to be with the one you love.

There are hidden lyrics in the full track that are meant to actually be in between the shortened ones we hear in the episode. The lyrics from the full version that Shy doesn't sing at his wedding are as follows:

I’ve had the spotlight Been bewitched by wealth and fame But I’d give up that hot light Just to hear one special someone Call my name

...

Reggie wrote this song for Shy. He literally wrote this song for Shy. Shy says it himself! And Reggie's not in attendance at Shy's publicity stunt wedding because the suits are keeping them apart for now, but he's in Shy's heart, and Shy chooses to sing this song and share that backstory about the lyrics because they're each others' home in secret.

I can't handle it! I can't FUCKING handle it!!!!!

Like are you SERIOUS!!!! And in the episode where the suits say Reggie took his severance pay and went and bought a fancy house? BITCH. If he even actually did that (and didn't just claim he was doing it to fly under the radar), then he bought a house so Shy could one day join him there because ???? "You are my home." Ohhhh myyyy Goddddd ;___; A song about giving up the spotlight to be with the one you love........ I have connected the dots. Just wow.

So yeah I'm literally going insane. I LOVE them. I've been thinking about this for like 2 weeks and no one gives a shit but I love them! They are important to me and every part of their subplot is so compelling and makes me so emotional!

There is fic about all this that's in my brain and outlined in my google docs and if I ever write it I will post it on AO3 for the maybe 2 people who will care someday. But yeah.

WHERE is their spinoff!!!!!!!! Jk I don't want it because I don't trust they'd be handled properly. However, I am manifesting even a crumb of information about them in season 5 because Shy Baldwin is my son and I would like any kind of hint he and Reggie manage to eventually orchestrate their happiness <3

I'm going to be starting my very first commissions soon! I am very excited but do you have any tips on what I should and shouldn't do?

Oh that’s very exciting! Hmm I have a post somewhere but I’ll just answer anyways 😂 This is gonna be insanely long

- Don’t be disappointed if you don’t get a huge amount of people asking at first. It’s all about drawing people in and growing an audience! If you don’t have an audience yet, it’s always worth it to market and advertise pretty well. Multiple social medias, using common tags, promoting in say, is discord server if you’re in one or something, all that jazz

- Pricing is very difficult and it’ll fluctuate and change over time. You’re not gonna get it down first try, and they’ll change with your workflow and what you realize you can and can’t do/handle! Personally, I took the amount of time I take on each canvas and estimated some average times (I.e. a rendered bust takes me 1.5-2 hours) and multiplied that by ah, $30 I think at first? And then doubled my prices later down the road

- Additionally however, pricing in such a way that you make good money for your time is important but, and I can’t stress this enough, PLEASE consider the people you’re advertising your work to and who follows you, what communities you’re in, etc. For myself, I’ve recently began to aim for higher quality clients who can pay more all at once and so I can get more money with less commissions stacked in my queue. Thus why my lowest price is still quite high. If you want more frequent clients, most often it’s best to keep your prices relatively low but still good value for you. Again, it’s all about finding that balance and figuring out your workflow

- Speaking of workflow, there’s no one right way to do commissions. Your process is your own and from my experience, I’ve gone through a bunch of different processes with different people! Haha, I’ve even signed a contract once to really seal the deal on the terms and conditions. Make it your own! Be as professional as you feel the need to or not. Do whatever makes you comfortable as long as it’s not at the expense of the client, of course

- You may or may not be contacted by spam bots and other accounts about your work. Believe me, it’ll happen once or twice that you might be scammed if you’re not careful (it’s happened to me twice) but if I could say, it’s usually accounts with names that don’t match their icons, using little/terrible punctuation and very automated repsonses, requesting work that’s not what you do usually, requesting work of family members/pets, offering very large sums of money, whatever else. Just be safe!

- Hmmm what else….

- Make sure you have plenty of examples of your work and the style of art/coloring that you’re advertising. If you’re offering something new, just get like 3-4 examples in and have a consistent process before having people pay money for it. I love my current rendering style but I had to wait til I had a few to know how I wanted to go about offering it as a new coloring style and how it’s different from what I would typically do

- Some clients are definitely rude and pester. It’s okay to put your foot down and say you’re not comfortable working with them. Personally, I offer up other artists if that’s the case (within reason, I don’t send rude people generally but sometimes clients get frustrated with you because you’re not the kind of artists they’ll end up wanting to work with) or if I’m just not able to do a commission because it’s, for example, out of my skill level or something. Always good to send people to artists who are open for work

- I’m actually learning this myself but if you’re working with someone who’s well known (I.e. I worked with good ol Xisumavoid), having T&Cs is useful for those larger clients. Xisuma actually gave me his terms and conditions to fill out in the invoices so if the client has that as well, it works that way too! And again, if you have questions or you’re uncomfortable by someone else’s T&Cs, say that! Believe me, they’ll work with you if they truly intend to use your work (bless that man, he was so kind and transparent about the whole process)

- Of courses you are just starting out but you never know!

That’s pretty much he main stuff. Just make sure it’s seen and clear, you’re valued and understand your value, and that everything you’ll be doing is all up to you. If you have artists friends (or myself) that you’d ever need input from, give them (or me) a holler! This is all just me, other artists have more or different ways they’d suggest going about things so if you don’t agreed with anything I’ve said, that’s alright 😌

Off topic but I've actually only ever made two proper ocxcc ships with lore and planning in them (the first being my genshin one and the second being jipunk which was THIS year (had my genshin one for TWO YEARS which is crazy) so the fact I'm making another shows how much this man is affecting my mental state rn

But it also means I still love my other ships very much so 🎉🎉🎉 even if I don't draw it as much cause I can't focus on two things LOLOL

ANYWAYS ONTO THE ACTUAL POST

I said this on my story but the concept was like, a seperate setting bc I'm toooo dumb to understand jjk lore

AND, this is rlly dumb, THE WHOLE REASON BEHIND THIS SHIP IS BC I JUST WANNA CREATE A CHARACTER FOR HIM TO LOVE,,, (CHOSOYUKI IS CUTE BUT I NEED A DIFFERENT VIBE TO SATISFY MY DESIRE TO SEE THIS MAN HAPPY)

but yeah bc of that their dynamic is like

aloof and reserved individual who doesn't quite understand the concept of love outside of the familial one and is actually quite hesitant and shy abt it x a strange but kind person who slowly teaches him the aforementioned concept

Ok so the idea of how it goes is like choso randomly wakes up in a place

And this is highkey spoilers for like the 'endgame' of this but I'm never gonna make an actual plot sooo (plus I need to explain this before I sound insane)

The inspiration is like Elysian Fields (bit obsessed w this recently, I drew a jipunk piece abt this too) and ITS ALL CAUSE OF CHOSOS NEAR DEATH EXPERIENCE IN THE MANGA AND WE'RE ALL FREAKING OUT ABT IT

But yes he wakes up in an unfamiliar field in an unfamiliar place but he's strangely calm about it (dunno why he is but I'll get back to thinking abt it later) but he spots this house in the distance and naturally he goes to it

And so he would meet haruko who's a little strange because she has no last name and isn't bothered by the fact that one. She lives in the middle of absolutely nowhere, and two. That he just shows up

She's even like "oh I haven't had visitors in a long while ☺️"

Aaannnd then cue a slow burn slice of life romance im gonna force them to have bc ASHBBENBKKKRMENJ SLOWBURN AGAGG cause there's no way someone like him is falling at first sight (imo anyways)

(Just a fun fact I fell asleep after writing this part and then woke up again HAHDHS it was 2 am.)

But yeah the situation is literally just the forced proximity trope where it's "oh I have to live with this stranger while I try to understand wtf is going but oh no I appear to have slowly fallen in love"

I just want someone to be nice :(( and kind :(( to him :((((( hold his hand pls and be so nice and gentle w his heart cause he's new at this :((((((((

Thinking abt how it's a slow burn is making me crazy rn cause it means we have a lot of stolen glances AHEGGEFGGG and like getting nervous HHHRGGGGRHH and shyness YYYRYYHGGRHHH and it's mostly all from choso cause I love it when a man falls harder 🔥🔥

Anyways I think that's mostly it for now cause I can't remember what else I wanted to say 🧚

loved this part of his character in the show, i feel like he was one of those kids who would doodle on like desk n stuff like that, and maybe he was one of those kids who was into graffiti and he just liked designing things but had no real outlet, sometimes at night when he cant sleep or somethin or hes thinking of like idk gang stuff he draws cause it helps clear his mind, he also just thinks its funny to draw a lot of weiners, hes still a teen hes a lil immature, but i also hc that his artistic abilities kinda inspired angela and curly as well and they become artist in their own right

OK LOOK I LOVE THIS AS A FOIL RELATIONSHIP TO DARRY AND CURLY ITS GREAT, but HOW did they get close??? most likely after johnny and dallys deaths, pony spends more time w curly which means more time at curlys house which means seeing tim a lot more as well, at first tim would just pop in and go like “do yall want somethin to eat” and ofc pony was afraid at first but l as time went on, they just kinda clicked, maybe over art, bc each other using creativity as an outlet, or something or bc tim was like “o he is a bit fucked up actually” and took him under his wing

•hes somewhat involved w the curtis gang

mostly based off that one rumble episode, BUT i hc that after dallys death, tim became not close but definitely not a stranger to the curtis gang, he doesnt rlly hang out w them or anything like that, but he does see them quite a bit and talks to them, and especially teams up w them when they need it, think of tim as what dally was to the gang, the guy who came n went but was down w them, but in his own “yall cool but i got a gang to lead so ill help darry a bit when it comes to handlin yall” way if that makes any lick of sense

BUT FOR ACTUAL HCS OF MINE

•i hc that angela and curly werent there bc they were off w their grandma, y u ask??? man idk they love their grandma i guess who r we to judge

•perhaps it was around that time that angela and curly was gone that tim started getting closer to pony cause he kinda missed up and wanted someone to look after, he just got that “damn i need to b a guardian to a fucked up kid or else im gonna go insane my damn self” thing goin on and pony was there so

•i said it before but idc ill say it again, tims art is influenced by haitian art, maybe not like the style exactly, but the idea of it being vibrant, black ppl being shown using the actual color black, yknow that thing

•tim mostly draws ppl and landscapes, maybe he goes out of his way and draws like anatomy stuff wether its normal things or like horror

•he would never actually show his drawings to anyone, he rlly only shows pony it cause he knows pony wont judge, ofc angela and curly knows and have seen it but thats bc theyre nosey and poke around his things, he knows about it but they havent said anything so it’s whatever

HOW am i supposed to be normal after THAT EPISODE. what the fuck. what the actual fuck. my brain is going insane with theming.

okay so, first off, jimmy didnt die first. he DIDNT. thats insanity in its own right. but the fact that the person who did go out first was lizzie.... his own seabling.... the person he brought down to red by accident... thats something.

lizzie died in the end, falling into the void. the watchers are associated with the end.

and jimmy died second, so soon after. like the universe course-corrected and took the canary down, clipped his wings after he had just started to fly. he still died early. the canary fell to the toxic gas of the mines once more.

for that reason im not going to stop the canary jimmy theming. its wonderful and i love it. but i do think that lizzie should get some too. why wouldnt a pair of siblings be the same species? im gonna draw them both as canary hybrids now.

jimmys death too.... he died to a warden. a WARDEN. need i remind everyone of double life, of the ranchers revenge. need i mention how this was the ONLY TIME tango has been absent from a session, and his rancher died to a mob hes known for wrangling.

speaking of tango. theres another point with him. remember jimmys insane level 4 decked out run? remember how he got his artifact and made it all the way out of level 3 before dying at the exit of level 2? the canary escaped the black mines alive, yet still died. black like coal. he broke his curse, escaped the coal mine, yet he still didnt make it.

and the FUNERAL. they held a fucking funeral for him, he didnt die first, but he still died the same episode. did the funeral trick the watchers into thinking he was already dead for just enough time for someone else to fall? is that what happened here?

it is also just. very funny to me that the first season jimmy isnt out first is the season after martyn canonized the curse.

in conclusion, im losing my mind. how is there so much theming in an unscripted series.

It's insane that most of Byler's heartwarming moments and quotes are initiated and said by Mike Wheeler and some people still think it's never going to be requited on his side.

"If we're both going crazy, we'll go crazy together, right?"

"Do you remember the first day that we met? .... I asked if you wanted to be my friend. You said yes. It was the best thing I've ever done." (This whole monologue, seriously)

"I've no idea what's gonna happen next. But whatever it is, I think we should work together. It'll be easier if we're a team. Friends. Best friends."

"Maybe I feel like I've lost you or something."

"It's Hawkins. It's not the same without you."

Notice how working together like a team is a present subtext to most canon relationships? It's not a one-sided give and take dynamic, not "I" or "You", but "Us". And Mike, when he talks to Will, always pertains to the both of them as a team- they need to be together, never dealing with things alone.

And thinking back to every moment in the show, Mike is always the first one to act and notice everything relating to Will.

Season 1 Mike who without hesitation initiated a search party for him and didn't give up on finding him, even when it's dangerous. Will being missing (and that fake death) affected him so much he shut himself off at first. He hangs and keeps a lot of Will's drawings, his admiration for his works evident. He's the first to defend him and wouldn't let Troy and the bullies badmouth him.

The entirety of Season 2 is just Mike's loyalty, care and thoughtfulness towards Will. It gives the impression that while the og party are all close friends, Mike and Will's bond is different and special. He stayed with Will all throughout the whole ordeal, always the first to notice when he was unusually quiet, gone, and acting differently. He trusts Will and is more open to him than to anyone else (and Will also trusts him the most). He's the one who pulls him out of his nightmares and visions. He literally never left Will's side and believed in him no matter what.

Season 3 Mike, even though he was mostly shown with El, never lost his soft spot for Will. He's still quick to notice whenever he isn't okay (at the cinema, during the Billy sauna fight, etc.). After their argument in the rain, he immediately went to apologize to him. It's like he can't take it if they're both upset at each other for too long. When the Byers were preparing to move, he got worried Will would move on from D&D or that he might find another party. He was the one lingering behind looking back at the house when they left, knowing how much memory it holds.

Season 4 Mike, despite their awkward and weird reunion (and prolonged tension), still notices Will even if Will just tried to fade in the background. After their fight at the rink, he also went and quickly reconciled with him the next day. He always found it the easiest to confide in Will with his feelings— his safe place—just like he is to Will. Will's monologue about him being the heart of the party meant the world to him. And by the end, when Will was clearly shown still being connected to the Upside Down, he sticks by his side again.

Whether it's platonic or romantic, no one can deny that Mike and Will share a long history and deep connection that they wouldn't ever have with anyone else. They've known each other for almost a decade.

It's not too farfetched that Mike can share Will's feelings and affection. He wouldn't reject Will when he finds out Will loves him. As a byler shipper, I may be biased to believe he already reciprocates it even. With how much he cares and initiates these moments with Will, I would even think he'll be the first to reveal he's in love with him and not the other way around.

But even from a non-shipper perspective, the 'they're-just-platonic-bestfriends' people: Mike still won't completely reject the idea of loving Will the same way. He just won't, not after his reaction to the veiled 'you're the heart' confession. And certainly not just judging by the way he holds the softest spot for this boy all throughout the show. If he does reject him though, we all know that's going to ruin their friendship and I don't think the writers would just do that?

Byler has such a great and high potential to be canon, whether you look at it in Will's or Mike's POV, and if they aren't, then that's a huge waste of building up such a beautiful bond.

And if they really didn't have a romantic subtext, why would they have so much focus with just the two of them? If they were platonic, why not include the other friends in their moments? Why would they have Will be canonically in love with him? If they did that just for another plot device and towards a rejection of all things, that would be so... I would never forgive them for that (less because they're my ship, but more on with how they handle Will's sexuality). It'll be such a harmful and disgusting narrative for many reasons.

So yeah, making them canon won't only wrap up both their character arcs beautifully, but also that would make better sense for the building up they've done throughout the show.

woo life update #2 bc i have internet now & am not actually losing my mind.

HELLO ‼️ yeah like end of march/the entirety of april was quite literally the worst time of my life and i am very. tired. a hiatus was vv much needed. (plus i didnt have wifi anyways so its not like i could do much here even i wanted to.)

i’m still not back. bc things are still vv rocky. (& literally stressing myself to death for a month and a half has left me physically ill SKSKSKS). but here are some small things that’ve happened !

1): i don’t have a laptop anymore. so when i do eventually decide to come back art is gonna be in a very weird spot. (im using my mom’s ipad rn but i also dont have an apple pencil so drawing with a stylus is odd).

^ adding onto that point. i also scrapped everything i was working on beforehand. i had already backlogged myself, so having to start using a whole new device just gave me the push to scrap all the ideas i had, and refocus myself. (most of them were just gifts for friends & birthdays i missed. :( but its okay hopefully you guys will have more sksksk).

for the time being i think i’m just gonna be making things i feel like making. ever since i started on tumblr i’ve always treated it like a job bc ive always thought it was unfair to those who followed me, and it was seriously starting to diminish my love for certain things (especially as i got into more things like genshin n honkai; feeling like i had to make an absurd amount of content everyday so things seemed ‘fair’ really just tanked my mood). but after taking a month break i was like “yo these are my blogs i should just do what i want.” SO ‼️ virek is still around & i’m still working on him, but there isn’t any set schedule bc i like a lot of things rn, and am just only gonna work on him when i’m in the right mood 🫂 (i don’t wanna end up hating him)

2): i’ve gotten really into honkai star rail & am already close to doing everything there is to do. so now i have more old people in my arsenal to draw.

not much has happened besides me sleeping/gaming to distract from literally everything else going on in my life. so forgive me for my absence 🫶 but hopefully i’ll be doing a lot better when i come back <3 (again the hiatus was. much needed. bc anyone who speaks to me literally ever knows that i can never actually take a break. thankfully this time i was forced to <3. and still kinda am bc our wifi is kicking on and off still & is vv janky but ANYWAYS. ILY GUYS 🫶 GIVE ME LIKE ANOTHER HALF YEAR AND I’LL BE BACK AND NOT GOING INSANE /j)

I LOVE Cassidy crying child as well (and have a Cassidy CC fictive headmate as well dfkgjhfgd) and I use it for several AUs including my main fnaf au. To answer your question about the designs, I'm thinking that Baby's appearance is altered to fit the other animatronics- i tend to stylize them all like real life vintage animatronics anyway, but Baby looks more like the others in the swap AU!

We might tell you more about some of our AUs soon, but in the meantime, what's your favorite of your AUs? Or any that you feel like sharing?

BUT! i can share one thing!! the twins’ (mangle’s heads) are named valerie (‘main’ head with casing) and eirelav (endo head)!! val and eire (eye-ra) for short! ive made up a whole little thing which i explained best in my second try at replying to this ask, but basically, cassie has a miscolored roxy plush that she named “valerie,” her best cross between roxy(/ie) and valentine. this roxy plush was a defect plush cause they put the wrong fabrics or the wrong patterns into the machines, so they had a small batch of chica-colored roxys and roxy-colored chicas (which cassie also has one of, whom i desperately need to name lol). i will draw them eventually i think they are so silly, her dad gave them to her and she thinks theyre both hilarious and adorable <3

okayyy i would say more but 1. third time writing this and still have to do. tags. and 2. i dont have anymore ideas lolll

ooooh shownu technically. i was aware of monsta x before i knew who seventeen really was. so he made the bias list first before i had even fully dived into monsta x.

dk and like i do love han with my entire heart, but the attachment to dk is so real. like that man is a co-ult and i will pick him over (almost) anyone else. please do not make me pick between 1 & 2.

now why would you do this to me? because honestly like spending the day with mingi would be so fun. but. my baby hobi. i'm always (almost always idk, see the previous answer) gonna pick him. i think i would want to do something like going shopping in a new city and then go to some sort of show at night. i just think that'd be a great way to see his personality come through.

i love his cheeks actually, idk if that's weird. and i also love his smile, he really has this almost sweet, childlike smile that's just so endearing.

there's so much to love about han, but i think what i love most is how he's like an extroverted introvert. like he needs his emotional support human (lee know) to be fully comfortable and i love that.

A doodle sheet I made with plenty of input from my friend Chaos (@ChaosInEternity#4444 on Discord). It started with me sharing how I use certain drawing tricks, and quickly turned into brainstorming/storyboarding. It was so much fun, and I’d love to ink and color it someday, once I have some practice.

As an added bonus, Chaos kind enough to write a story for it!! I’m sharing it here with their permission.

Calamity Circus

Category: Angst

TW: Distorted reality, kind of body horror

Join the Etherington Brother’s Circus for a night you shall never forget! Tickets are £2 per person, £1 per child. Watch spectacular scenes unlike anything else! The star of the show Fae the Trapeze artist, Joes the Strong Man! Bobbery the Lion and even Tele the Elephant! Show is from the 6/7/2033 - 9/7/2033! All from inside Freddy Fazbear’s PizzaPlex located on the third floor!

YN stopped from downing their seventh Monster (naughty!) of the day as the post had finally arrived, putting the can down they shuffled closer as their eyes slowly trailed down. A circus? In a place like this? It seemed that the higher ups finally recognized their position after all this time.

Snorting to themselves they slid out of their seat, if there was something going on the first people they would be mentioning it to was the animatronics they looked after. Especially seeing's as the rules had recently changed to allow all animatronics full roam of the plex after the virus had been cured, and because of demands from multiple people after seeing all the bad treatment happening behind the scenes, all because one worker exposed it on YouTube of course. Turns out corruption really does not have a voice when enough people stand up to it.

Opening the door sure enough there they both were, bickering as usual as to which of the stackable cubes was the top and which was the bottom. YN ignored them as they just waited patiently beside them. After all since Sun and Moon had been separated it meant things could be more efficient, and efficiency was very important to increase profits. However in doing that they often dealt with this calamity and chaos. It was apparently even worse for DJMM upstairs, turns out having over 100 babies now with sentience meant a lot of noise, and yelling too, not to forget vents collapsing from 15 of them fighting over one spot.

The bickering between both Sun and Moon continued for five more minutes, when finally they both decided the middle was actually the top, the top was the bottom and the bottom did not count for anything. Sighing in relief that it was over they finally turned to YN, and Sun grinned widely before tackling them in one of their loving hugs. Moon merely eyed them, barely interested unless it was news to do with the new sleep over function happening for the little ones.

YN waited until the hugging and crying from being missed was over, and finally they could tell them the news.

“Listen up, third floor is gonna have a circus pop up tonight, and it’ll finish on the ninth. Do you want to go to it? Its uh, got some wild stuff none of you have seen before and plus it'll look great on any featuring news we have. You know by now how much this place adores endorsement and all that.”

Sun and Moon both froze, when the smiling began. YN froze as they knew what was going to be happening next, turns out when you allow two robots the equivalent of drugs (fizzy faz and glitter glue) it makes them too hyperactive even for the little ones to handle. Both had twisting insane looks, and to protect themselves and their sanity, YN ran for their life.

They ran until they could hardly breathe and sure enough the animatronics were in "overdrive mode", something created for when their brains could not quite comprehend what was going on, or their joy was just too much and they needed to let off a little steam. Watching 8 foot tall animatronics flying around the room screaming, doing casual acrobatics and then throwing toys everywhere would surely lead to parents getting concerned, but of course they had safety measures to ensure only YN would see it.

After around half an hour the two had calmed enough for YN to go over and talk to them again, and with some delighted agreements the plan was simple. Tonight they would be going to see the circus! The rest of the day went by perfectly, there was no difficult parents and the children were utter angels as usual. After many a giggling and a crafting it was time to lock up for the night.

YN downed their 15th Monster can (TERRIBLE.) of the day and found themselves watching as the master cleaners got to work, by the end of ten minutes not a single surface was even marked. In fact everything looked like it was brand new, not a single fingerprint or hair on anything at all. YN did not understand how two (very anxious mind you) animatronics could clean this well without so much as a slip up.

“Alright Starshine we are all done, what time does it start?” Moon drawled, looking rather sleepily as Sun itself seemed a little tired from the rambunctious chaos every day brought. YN pondered for a moment as they read down the back ignoring the huge amount of terms and conditions that filled up over half of the page, which honestly was standard for anything Fazbear related.

“So! It starts at seven tonight, as it’s opening night they are starting at six twenty though so that gives me just enough time to get out of this disgusting uniform.”

Glitter glue was all over it, paints, stickers and even orange juice, this place was like an apocalyptic nightmare sometimes and YN hated it, they hated too many sensations at once. With those two agreeing YN quickly found themselves in the bathtub surrounded with some delicious (scent) bubble bath. With a good scrubbing and a good rubbing they were all set to dry up and get ready.

It barely took them half an hour in total, donning their favorite clothes they felt prepared and excited for the night, after all not much really changes about the plex, so for the higher ups to have decided on something like this it would be thrilling. They grabbed their phone ready to take some company pictures, and with that the trio of chaos wondered out of the daycare.

The plex was much too big for the structure to really hold up, and YN often found themselves wondering if there was magic involved, of course they knew if they mentioned that to the positively hyperactive and unstably insane (in a good way) bots there would be theories thrown in every direction to the point where YN would question their sanity and those two would have their nineteenth mental breakdown.

With ignoring the pestering questions inside their head, they made their way to the top floor, and sure enough there was a queue of workers along with the main four. Freddy waved enthusiastically and YN found themselves matching that slightly wild energy with their own wave. At the front a man in a black suit was stamping every employee on the arm, and soon enough it was their turn, Sun taking the lead.

“OH OH WAITWAITWAIT CAN I GET STAMPED TOO? I LOVE STAMPS!! IS IT A FLOWER? IS IT A PRETTY SIGN? I WANT IT I WANT IT!!!”

There he went, and to silence the screeching of Sun as soon as possible, he got stamped too, and so with that they went inside the large hall. Inside was pretty decorations with hanging fabrics, a huge stage in the middle and beautiful neon lights fitting in with the theme of the Plex perfectly. YN was seated at the front along with their bots, sitting directly next to Freddy and the less than amused Gregory.

Supposedly from what YN was told, Gregory saved the entire group by finding a virus lead by a psychotic bunny rabbit and a raisin cosplaying a rabbit too, which apparently left the main four in a murderous rage that nearly killed everyone. How any of that worked they had no idea, but after a year of legal workarounds and with the fact he was orphaned Gregory now lived inside the facility, and often was found chasing Moon around with a flashlight during patrols. That or hiding inside of Freddy’s chest.

Freddy smiled so brightly to YN, and they could not help but blush a little, after all working in a place like this and having a life outside was near on impossible. So attention was nice.. Unless it was Sun dramatically grabbing you and crushing until you could see Heaven itself. Then that was just not as fun. OR even worse, Moon deciding to be a vigilant gremlin and crawling around after you to make you sleep at 3am.

With a little shudder YN focused on the stage, the glamorous dancing lights along with the funky decorations really set the atmosphere alight, when a deep rumbly voice broke them from their trance.

“Good evening mon ami.”

Great.

YN felt themselves take in a deep breath and release it slowly. Usually attention from one person was more than enough but considering how touch starved they actually were having two in one night talk to them was almost too much, with a overly customer service esque hello they opted to just hyperfocus on the dancing and twinkling lights instead.

Finally after a few more minutes the lights suddenly dimmed, and another black suited person walked out to the center of the stage.

“Welcome all to the opening night of the Etherington Brothers Circus! We hope you are all comfortable and ready for a night of dazzling entertainment. We worked hard to get in here and now we are we shall not disappoint! Please note that any goods purchased whilst watching the show will automatically come out of all employees paychecks at the end of the month. BUT let’s get started!”

With the worlds fastest bow, and a janky old staff bot wondering around offering food, soon YN was munching happily on their favorite snacks. The curtain slid open, and a large trapeze line was in the middle, the sudden rush and terror of watching someone casually fly out of nowhere doing multiple flips and twists across a tiny rope nearly gave them a heart attack, but each landing was perfect and fluid.

YN watched in amazement as the trapeze artist made it seem like the air was their own doing, flying all around, jumping across, full on sprinting around. The artist themselves was quite the pretty sight in general, with hair styled to be like a flower, a beautiful bronze color perfectly in place along with dazzling and slightly strange golden eyes.

The more YN watched, the more they felt themselves slipping into a rather strange state of mind, as one moment the trapeze artist jumped around, to suddenly standing still in the middle staring at them with a blank expression. YN felt their chest get tight as the lights kept flickering on and off, when suddenly they went off entirely, and not a single sound was made.

It took a few moments, but a strange music box noise began to play, the lights flickered on in the middle with a ominous red glow and the trapeze artist grinned too widely for it to be human, and upon her right shoulder was now one of Moon’s arms. Screaming in terror YN nearly snapped their neck trying to turn away, only to see themselves now in an ocean and on a raft?

The fishes below swam happily, merrily moving along to their own destination without a care in the world. YN watched happily, when a odd buzzing filled their head, glancing to the side of them laid one half of Moon. The other half had been stolen, and from what YN could remember it was the evil trapeze artist that had his bottom half. The sick grin came back to their head, and all they could do was hope they could get this all over with soon. Moon was powered down, and it just made YN sad.

Bobbing away on the ocean was rather boring when you had nothing to do, the smell of salt, the weird fishes and mermaids swimming down below was fun to look at for five minutes, but when it came down to it-

MERMAIDS?

YN froze as under the water they watched a woman dancing underneath, her long scaled tail swimming back and forth like in a trance, and along with her was Monty, also swimming back and forth. YN rubbed their eyes trying to process what they were seeing, and when they removed their hands they could only scream from shock.

She was right there on the edge, happily there without the slightest care in the world. She looked pristine, like a doll even, blonde long wavy hair, a loving face, and YN also noticed the moon shape upon her tube top. She ginned widely as she finally broke the awkward silence.

“You have to help him YN! Defeat the evil Fae! For she has ruined Moon and left him broken! Save the world YN, save the world!!” Her words were so loud that it felt as though it was spoken in their head, blasting through at full volume. The mermaid wiggled excitedly, and soon Monty the Mermaid joined her up on the raft, water dripping from his hair and ridiculously sized muscles.

“She is evil, cher, evil witch! You gotta save us all.” YN processed that for a small moment, and as soon as they agreed they suddenly found themselves rapidly approaching the shore, the raft speeding along the water like a racing car around a track.

They both slammed onto the beach, the mermaids having vanished, and after a few moments of rolling they came to a standstill. YN groaned as they forced themselves up, and looked at the damage. Moon had been split in half perfectly only leaving a few wires here and there because of Fae, and right now sand was all inside the various wires. Upon looking around YN spotted a young girl wondering around with a little net to catch fish.

The girl had beautiful blue eyes, blonde hair, a strange horseshoe accessory above the right eyebrow, and a purple star under the same eye. She stopped what she was doing and stared at the two of them, when once again the imagery around them began to flicker and fade away as she smiled once more, too big for a human.

Upon waking up, YN was locked in place, in front of them was Sun along with the trapeze artist, both grinning manically and laughing so loudly, the circus room was abandoned and looked like it had not been touched in decades and on top of the rope was a little fairy. Sun was now wearing a gigantic cape with diamond shapes all the way down, and as it bent over to cackle more it flapped slightly. What the hell was happening!?

The trapeze artist now had a wind up toy mechanism sticking out of her back, twisting slowly as she jerkily moved around, and the fairy had a halo on top of their head, little wings and a grin that screamed murder.

YN heard Moon coming back online, and when he awoke he too saw the chaos in front of them. The fairy flew left, and soon came back with a screaming and struggling worker, who was now the size of the fairy as well. The fairy was hitting them, both were struggling as much as possible but it was of no use.

The fairy giggled as she flew up, and with one last overly friendly giggle dropped the worker. As they slammed to the ground their neck snapped, and a look of terror was all that remained with YN and Moon.

“Welcome to the real show Sunshine!! You can’t win against us, if you aren't careful that will be you next! Yes it will! YES IT WILL!” Sun screeched as they launched off, and started sprinting at YN so quickly they could hardly process it.

They grabbed Moons top half, and as soon as they made it out of the door they was in a grassy field. They panted as the weight of Moon was almost too much, but upon hearing the frantic taptaptap of Sun being possessed and chasing after them, they ran until they finally collapsed to the floor in tears, unable to fight, all they could do was wait for their inevitable death.

“Freddy! Freddy come on!! Let’s get out of here together!” YN looked around in confusion, when they saw a tiny dinosaur toy walking along with a stuffed bear, YN had no idea of what was happening anymore. Along with the Dinosaur, was a girl, it took a second for everything to process but finally it came back into focus.

The girl had a whip and a sword, wings and a tube top, below was high heeled boots and shorts. They did not seem to notice the huge bodies above them, and when YN cried out for them, they just continued on their way without looking back. They were just so tired and out of energy, Sun would probably catch up to them and their deaths finalized.

Moon began to skew static, and once again the visions became nothing more than a blur. YN felt themselves close their eyes, and pass out once again.

Upon being shook awake, YN was now looking at a petticoat wearing doll, she could not speak but kept motioning to the grassy hill up ahead, and next to her was none other than Gregory. He stared at YN trying to figure out their motives, almost checking them to see if they too was possessed.

“What.. The fuck is happening.” YN asked.

“LANGUAGE!” The booming voice of Moon was that loud YN almost screeched, upon looking behind Moon was now gigantic, and YN was as small as the doll was. Gregory sighed softly.

“The trapeze artist is evil, she changed Freddy into a bear, she made Monty into a mermaid, Chica is now in a bucket of KFC and Roxanne is a chef for Hell’s Kitchen.” YN burst out laughing, this was by far the weirdest and wildest dream they had ever had, maybe they should chill out on the Monster energy? Shaking their head they decided to go with it.

“We need to stop her Gregory, but how? Like every few minutes time seems to flip and change, I have been to about 6 locations so far and it does not seem to want to stop anytime soon.” He eyed the doll who seemed to be saying something or other, and with a quick determined nod, grabbed YN by the hand and dragged them up the hill.

At the top, there was the weirdest scene, every worker (even the one with the broken neck), the trapeze artist, evil sun, Freddy, Monty, Roxanne, Chica and even DJMM was dancing around Moons lower half, chanting in tongues and thrashing violently to some invisible beat, their bodies in perfect synchronicity.

“Fuck this, I am never drinking Fizzy Faz again” Gregory announced, and all YN could do was crack up as they got prepared to charge.

Flying down a mountain was not fun it turns out, the hill became a rocky cliff, and with every harsh crack and snap of the bones the more YN wished they had just accepted that this was going to suck a lot, maybe if they had laid off the EL Chips “Nacho Girl” meal, maybe if Monster stopped making delicious addictive drinks then this torture would not be currently happening.

YN regretted it all. Though when they looked to Gregory, he seemed to be bouncing rather than being hurt, like something out of a cartoon he would squish and fold and still be entirely together.

He just giggled, and finally they made it down to the bottom.

Rising their heads up, the Trapeze artist had them tied down, and was speaking in French to Sun, who was awfully translating back, the fire had died down, and Moons legs were still stuck in the middle, though now all the others had settled in a neat little circle watching.

“What the hell do you want from us?” YN could not help but scream out to Fae and Sun, who both stopped their weird French talking to look to the two of them, when Fae giggled.

“Well, we just want your soul, your house, your pets, your life, your flesh is nice, the soul, the gardens, the golden gates, the golden gates, the golden gates, don't you know its nice in September? SOULS.”

She stomped her foot the more she spoke frantically, and she began to yank her hair as Sun was now attempting sign language right in front of Moon, who looked mostly bored if not tired. After all half of his body was missing. Gregory just looked lost.

“Listen, if you are both fucking done can I have my legs back?”

Moon sighed as he leant on one hand, bored of people, bored of chaos, bored of every day things. This was just another item to add to the growing list, and he knew management would not be happy that Sun went all evil. He groaned, there goes the nice plans for the sleep over event, there went his nice and happy life, he imagined the higher ups would get that pissed that as soon as YN was gone, he would be back in the torture chamber.

But YN apparently had different plans.

“NO this is BULLSHIT! I wanted to fucking watch a nice circus with my boys and stuff my face with tasty treats, you have ruined it all! I WANT MY FUCKING POPCORN YOU BITCH.”

With a harsh swing of their fist, Fae screamed and burst into flames, her skin melting to reveal nothing behind it at all. Sun was freaking out, and grabbing at himself as his systems were going into overdrive, and YN grabbed Moons legs, grabbed the wires and just shoved them together dramatically in an attempt to end this calamity.

When suddenly, a black screen surrounded them, credits began to roll, and they saw Freddy casually singing “Fly Me To The Moon” for some reason. YN could only watch bewildered as he danced around singing his heart out.

Jolting awake to the sound of clapping, YN was back at the circus theater, Sun and Moon was besides them, Freddy hooting and hollering in joy, Monty flirting endlessly with their poor caretaker, and sure enough the stage now had a elephant, a strongman, and a whole entire Lion casually taking in the applause.

YN watched as they walked off, and the man who started it all wondered out so proudly.

“We thank you all for watching! Employees, we hope you enjoyed it as well! The doors are there.”

YN struggled to find their footing, and as the image of Fae flickering from looking pleased to downright demonic, they were scared it was starting all over again. However, upon passing out and waking up, instead they were in the plex hospital, and they could hear Sun and Moon both losing their minds outside, YN carefully took a look around, and discovered all other workers were there too.

A doctor came in, and went over.

“We discovered there was a carbon monoxide poisoning happening on the third floor, you all had a rather nasty time and if it was not for Sun noticing the strange beeping you all would have died. As per usual, Fazbear is not responsible, it is your fault, you cannot sue them, you cannot question them, OH and if you ate any of the food that apparently comes out automatically as well. Though apparently the food is off, I don’t know, all I understand is to give you an ice pack and call it a day really.”

Of course, that explained the weird tripping and odd hallucinations they had experienced. Groaning they took their time healing, and after a few short days they were back out and allowed to continue doing their jobs.

YN sighed as they sat in the break room, today had been weird, nobody mentioned the circus or the weird situation, and upon mentioning it to employees all they got was strange looks. They shook their head as they got up and walked out to yet again more bickering, this time about lighting.

“ITS IMPORTANT TO USE LIGHT TO SEE THINGS!!! CHILDREN CANNOT SEE THINGS IN THE DARK MOON. HOW WILL THEY FIND THEIR TOYS? WHAT IF THEY TRIP UP AND DIE!!!”

Moon threw his hands up in the air as he jabbed at some sort of page with pros and cons of lighting frantically, Sun also doing the same as the shouting continued.

“BUT IT HELPS THEM SLEEP! NAPPING IS IMPORTANT SUN GOOD GOD ARE YOU STUPID? DO YOU NEED YOUR FILES CLEANING??”

Sun burst into tears as he threw a teddy bear at Moon, and soon enough there was about a hundred toys being thrown back and forth at one another with vicious intent. YN just sipped their bitter coffee, and daydreamed of the day those two would just relax. Sighing they watched as Moon picked up a Monty toy and managed to smack Sun on the nose with it. When they froze in their place.

Moon shifted sideways to dodge an incoming attack again, and sure enough their eyes were not fooling them at all.

A bit of sand trickled out from his stomach chamber.

YN looked to Sun and Moon, who both had also noticed the sand, when the lights above began to flicker once more, with looking at one another, YN noticed a third person in between the animatronics, when all simply went black.

YN stopped from downing their seventh Monster of the day as the post had finally arrived, putting the can down they shuffled closer as their eyes slowly trailed down. A circus? In a place like this? It seemed that the higher ups finally recognized their position after all this time.

Snorting to themselves they slid out of their seat, if there was something going on the first people they would be mentioning it to was the animatronics they looked after. Especially seeing's as the rules had recently changed to allow all animatronics full roam of the plex after the had been cured, and because of demands from after seeing all the good treatment happening behind the scenes, all because exposed it on YouTube of course. Turns out really does not have a voice when enough people stand up to it.

Opening the door sure enough there they both were, bickering as usual as to which of the stackable cubes was the top and which was the bottom. YN ignored them as they just waited patiently beside them. After all since Sun and Moon had been separated it meant things could be more efficient, and efficiency was very important to increase profits, profits were what made the world go round after all. However in doing that they often dealt with this calamity and chaos. It was apparently even worse for DJMM upstairs, turns out having over 1000 babies now with sentience meant a lot of noise, and yelling too, not to forget vents collapsing from 500 of them fighting over one spot. Seven children…

Even Monty and the others were struggling right now, Monty liked to trash his room a lot, and Freddy often dealt with loneliness. Chica had begun eating a lot of pizza and chicken, and Roxanne was more obsessed over their image than themselves. Missing children constantly vanished from this place apparently.

YN sighed as they walked around the room, often it felt like the days repeated themselves more than anything else, but at least there was a circus tonight! They looked forward to the dazzling show!

They turned around, and handed both of them the fliers, after only two seconds of reading, they both looked incredibly excited, though they too did seem rather tired from the day.

“Hm. How about we go to it tomorrow Starshine? I’m tired.” Moon mumbled as he settled down on the floor, and Sun just looked rather blankly. YN too joined Moon on the floor.

“I feel like today has just been going on forever you know, its been such a tiring day, I want to go home you know Moo-.”

Tearing the skin and flesh, burn the chords, tear the skin and flesh. However in doing that they often dealt with this calamity and chaos and endless dying. It was apparently even worse for DJMM upstairs, turns out having over 100 babies now with sentience meant a lot of noise, and yelling too, not to forget vents collapsing from 67 of them fighting over one spot and killing 270 children.. What were their names again?

Monty no longer came out of his room, Chica was missing along with Roxy, and Freddy no longer functioned after rotting away, as YN looked up to the two bickering and falling apart robots, all they could do was watch as Moons arm fell off, clattering to the floor as they both destroyed one another after screaming, both smothered in the blood and flesh of everyone.

Oh how they wished they had never gone to that circus.

“Join the Afton Family Circus for a night you shall never forget! Tickets are £2 per person, £1 per child. Watch spectacular scenes unlike anything else! The star of the show William Afton, lead creator of animatronics, Michael the crybaby! Henry emily the betrayer and even ! Show is from the - ! All from inside Freddy Fazbear’s PizzaPlex located below! Dont mind all the dead bodies!!!!”

HIDING IN SHAME BECAUSE I HAVE NO IDEA HOW THIS GOT SO LONG BUT HERE WE GO I GUESS

23.5: LET’S GO LESBIANS LET’S GOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!! seriously extremely incredibly insanely excited for this one i cannot wait for this show to bless my screen!!!!!!! i may not be the biggest fan of the whole ‘im gonna keep my identity a secret while messagging with my crush’ thing (mostly because i didn’t really like how it was handled in fish upon the sky so i tend to be a bit on edge about it, it happened with kanthua in the eclipse too), but considering that my soul left my body to go commune with god when ongsa decided to call herself ‘earth’ because the earth orbits the sun, i'd say that's not gonna be an issue sfjksgdksg also the trailer is just SO LOVELY AND CHARMING and i already adore ongsa's different colored beanies and sun's different colored headband and IT'S MILKLOVE SO IM READY TO BE SWEPT OFF MY FEET!!!!!!!!!!

a boss and a babe: yeah i know the title is abysmal but let's talk about more important things like FORECEBOOK MY BELOVEDS!!!!!!!!! i think im possibly one of the very few people who actually enjoyed enchanté and i honestly ADORE forcebook. they have a fantastic chemistry that really shines through when they banter but they also can do UST and pining SO WELL, im just incredibly happy they got another series. im pretty much already in love with book's character and i tend to really like office romance in BLs, so im excited to see them in this kind of setting!!!! if i have to be completely honest though, there's something about the mock trailer that didn't fully charm me, but i can't quite put my finger on what exactly. maybe it's the kind of humour they used? but i wasn't too fond of the humour in roommates of poongduck either and yet i LOVED the show, so that’s hardly gonna be a problem. IT'S TIME FOR FORCEBOOK TO TAKE OVER THE WORLD AND IM HERE FOR IT!!!!!!!!

cherry magic thailand: since we didn't get a trailer it's hard for me to form a solid opinion on it, though i do admit that out of all the BLs they announced this is the one im less excited about, mainly for two reasons: 1) dark blue kiss is one of the few popular BLs i still have to watch, so im not emotionally attached to taynew, nor am i familiar with any of their other works, which means that without a trailer i really have no idea what to expect acting or chemistry wise, and 2) i know they're gonna be two very different beasts because the thai version is gonna be an adaptation of the manga and not a remake of the japanese series, so im fully aware it's not fair to draw comparisons between the two, but the jp one has such a huge place in my heart and it also gave us one of the very few aroace representation we have in media, it's just gonna be really tough for me to keep the two things separated in my head and to accept the differences between them ;;;;;;;; on a more positive note i have a crush on both sing and jan so my bisexual ass is already sweating

cooking crush: [insert tiffany pollard's beyonce meme] OFFGUN???????!!!!!!???!?!?? god the amount of clownery we've all partaken in thinking they weren't gonna do BLs anymore meanwhile kings were having the time of their lives planning their FOURTH SERIES together. literally the one time im not gonna mind acting like an absolute buffoon sfjkshfksg i think not me will always remain my favorite offgun project but i have a lot of hopes for this one!!! i absolutely LOVE kitchen settings, however i've found all the food BLs i have watched until now kinda.. lackluster. i did enjoy what zabb man, but it's not one of my favorite shows, so i hope that in my time of need offgun will come to me with the food BL of my hopes and dreams. another positive note is that neo is in this as well, and while im a bit perplexed at the choice of not pairing him with louis, im pretty curious to see him act with someone else!!!

dangerous romance: im surprisingly really excited for this????? which i did NOT expect considering that it has an high school setting, but the trailer got me hooked!!!! i only saw chimon in he's coming to me (yes i know i have to watch the gifted I KNOW), while im more familiar with perth because of love by chance and the stranded, but they seem to have a very nice chemistry and i really like that the show will probably deal with more serious topics. im also a simple woman with very simple needs and if you dangle enemies to friends to lovers in front of my eyes i will follow it blindly like a horse with a carrot. also hiiiii papang hiiiiii just wanted to say im free whenever hiiii <3

hidden agenda: JOONGDUNK AND AOUBOOM IN THE SAME SERIES THAT'S ALL I NEED TO BE ON BOARD WITH THIS. star in my mind wasn't the best show but i think joongdunk have great chemistry and they seem very comfortable with each other, so im excited to see them again and for joong to play a less serious character than kluen was. the premise gives me a lot of 2gether vibes, so not particularly groundbreaking, and im a bit worried that the drama in the story could frustrate me a little, but i see pining and i start BARKING, which means this has the potential to have me committed. also i personally find aouboom characters shady as hell but that actually just makes me even MORE EXCITED GIVE ME MEAN GAYS POWER COUPLE PRETENDING TO BE NICE BUT FUCKING THINGS UP FOR EVERYONE ELSE. last but not least: im starting to believe guy could have chemistry with a rock, that one second of him and pod got me like a dog seeing a squirrel just on high alert with my ear up and my body weight leaning forward ready to bite like HELLOO????????? (what's with the similes today idk anyway)

last twilight: the professional mental health crisis intervention team currently in my room is telling me i cannot afford another meltdown so im just gonna point you to this and this to have a vague idea of how i feel about it but to sum it up IM MAKING THIS MY ENTIRE PERSONALITY TRAIT I WILL EAT DRINK BREATHE SPEAK DREAM OF NOTHING BUT THIS SHOW AND THIS SHOW ONLY THIS IS ALREADY THE BEST THING THAT EVER HAPPENED TO ME THE MOCK TRAILER ALONE HAS GRABBED ME BY THE THROAT AND SLAMMED ME TO THE FLOOR SO HARD THE TILES CRACKED IT'S GONNA BE SO BEAUTIFUL SO GROUND BREAKING SO LIFE ALTERING THEY ALREADY OUTSOLD OUTDONE OUTSLAYED OUTEVERYTHINGED [GETS SHOT WITH AN ELEPHANT TRANQUILIZER]

only friends: look there's no point in hiding it: i have some mixed feelings about this show. on one hand it has a stellar cast that im in love with and im always STOKED to see a BL dealing with more mature themes, on the other im afraid these are.. not the kind of mature themes i tend to enjoy ;;;;;;;; it's like with love mechanics, where i simply could not get into it because despite yinwar's insane chemistry the cheating and the messiness were just too much for me: i was feeling more bad than good while watching it, and it just ended up turning an enjoyable experience into an upsetting one. of course im not gonna presume and judge things just from a mock trailer, but the fact that this is gonna deal with toxic relationships is giving me pause. it's really just a matter of personal preferences though and im still gonna give it a chance!!! it's also very nice to see everyone on my dash screaming and being beyond excited about it so im gonna support everyone from the sideline!!!!!

our skyy 2: IM SORRY FOR BEING DISGUSTINGLY BIASED BUT THEY'RE GIVING PUENTALAY BACK TO ME AND THAT'S THE ONLY THING I CARE ABOUT LITERALLY SOMEONE IN GMMTV IS GETTING KISSED ON THE MOUTH THIS IS NEITHER A PROMISE NOR A THREAT BUT SIMPLY A FACT IM BOOKING THE PLANE TICKETS AS WE SPEAK. we're also getting phutian!!!!! and pranpat!!!!! and akkayan!!!!! and more forcebook and joongdunk and pondphuwin!!!!! and the kids from my school president that we’re finally gonna meet next week and for which i already have the adoption papers ready to sign!!! i usually have mixed feelings on second seasons because most of the time they just provide unnecessary drama, but i think a special episode could work very well. is this just banking on nostalgia for viewers' pleasure? absolutely. do i care? [IS TOO BUSY MAKING OUT WITH A GMMTV EXEC TO ANSWER]

all in all im incredibly happy with what we got and i think it's a pretty good variety: we have school settings and office settings and kitchen settings, we have younger characters and adult characters, we have some light storylines and some heavy storylines.... and we are still far from being able to actually call this 'diverse', but we finally got a GL and a disabled character and it may not be enough but it's a start!!!
