First of all, Miguel is so good with kids. Like, if he doesn't go into a career that has to do with working with children, I might be a lil upset. This is to say that Miggy likes kids.

So, with that being said, he'd be so excited to find out he's gonna be a dad! The overwhelming amount of joy and happiness oozing off of him will be alarming. His smile? cute and contagious. His energy? so high that it's over the moon. Immediately wants to tell Johnny the good news.

You can't convince me that he didn't have some baby fever throughout his relationship with his partner. If he so much as got to hold a baby, he was gushing about how cute that child was for days. He'd never outright admit that he had "baby fever" but he would admit to wanting "a kid or two eventually." (that's code for, "maybe sometime soon if you wanna.")

He cries when he holds his baby for the first time, wiping away his tears with the sleeve of his shirt so he's not crying on them. He holds them close to his chest so they can hear his heartbeat and so he can kiss their head. Swears to protect them by any means possible.

He built the whole nursery himself. Might as well have been from the ground up. Whether they raise a boy, girl or genderless child, he just wanted to make the room something they'd enjoy and it's something he's proud of. Over the years, as his child shows interest in certain media or hobbies, he switches things out or adds to the room so that they're happy all of the time. If they want to paint the walls, who is he to tell them their wall can't be sage green or striped?

Buys as many toys and cute/handsome/adorable clothes as possible. If he sees it at the store and thinks his baby will like it, he gets it. Sometimes he buys something they already have but in a different color and doesn't care. He'll go out of his way to find the super specific thing his baby wants and if he can't find it, he figures out how to get it or make it.

When it comes to his baby, he's one of those dads that won't make them walk if they don't want to. He lifts them up and carries them in his arms or on his shoulders so they don't have to walk, especially if they're tired. I just envision him carrying his kid on his shoulders until he physically can't or they don't want to anymore.

He waits until their kid is at least 1 year old before asking his partner if they can have another baby. He wants a big happy family.

Also, he was an only child and doesn't want his kid to be on their own. Their kid will always have him and his partner, but he knows that sometimes you need a friend you can turn to and thinks that siblings who have each other's backs are wholesome. (No, he does not think about how that can turn against him once they actually become teenagers.)

When his partner gets pregnant again, he eases their first born into the idea of having a younger sibling. He'll sit with them and watch shows that feature siblings and eventually ask them if they'd like a little sibling. His heart will just melt if they communicate yes, even if it's just a nod of the head and big smile.

He loves Johnny, don't get him wrong, but he's never leaving his kids alone with him. He doesn't care how long its been, how much Johnny has grown, what the situation might be, he can't and won't have his babies running around calling people pussies. His mom has to be present.

Loves taking his kids outside, even if it's just their backyard. He'll have gotten them a play set for outside and eventually, maybe, a trampoline. He'll buy them bug collector kits and gardening tools because he wants to inspire them to explore.

He'll take them to the park or on little walking trails, too. It's good exercise for them all. Will make a fun little family trip out of it from time to time, bringing a picnic with them.

Won't teach his kids karate unless they show an interest in it, but who am I kidding? They're likely going to have an interest in karate because of their dad. So he'll happily teach them. His favorite thing would be taking them to the dojo and letting them practice with the big kids when they're doing drills. It makes them feel empowered to do anything they set their minds to.

Movie nights where everyone falls asleep on the couch or in the pillow fort they built, but this entails the kids laying on top of Miguel where he can't get up even if he wanted to. He just wraps his arms around his kids and falls asleep with them, even if it is gonna hurt his back in the morning.

A guide to caring for Icarus

General Information:

Personlity Icarus is an ambivert. While he truly enjoys and blossoms around people he has grown familiar with or if with an comfort/safe person next to him, he will retreat to his more quiet/ timid side if even one unfamiliar person is in his space. Do not pressure him to interact or get closer then 1.5 meter of the unfamiliar person or Icarus will get aggressive and lash out in anger resulting in him feeling guilty as well as overthink his action once his flare up has calmed. Do not let him alone completly in this situation under any certainstances as it will result in a severe depression and anxiety episode. The Half-demon is a rather shy & humble young man. He will deny gifts unless selfmade until you agree that he can give you something in exchange to make it fair and complements completly unless it is repeated frequently as he then starts to believe them. When asked for his prefrence in anything he will say that he doesnt have one to make the asker decide. When comfortable Icarus will voice his dislike if asked and will talk about his interest. Though he preferces to listen more then do the talking himself. Please also know that Icarus does indeed have a personality disorder. He feels emotions a lot stronger then others, inclusing negative ones. In case he is having a anger flare up that doesn't seem to calm, contact Satan. He knows how to handle Icarus and how to calm him down. Identity Being a Half-Demon on top of being on the non-binary gender spectrum makes Icarus doubt alot, especially his Identity. Always check which pronouce bracelet he is wearing to always adress him with the right ones. Never let his deadname be mentioned or used to refer to him. To fight gender dysphoria Icarus wears a binder most day. Please always remember to make sure to check in with Icarus if he is wearing a binder and if he would like to retreat to a private room for a break from wearing said binder. If possible provide a small snack as well as something cold to drink so he doesn't force himself to not eat until the next meal, even if hungry, during this binder break. Devildom Family Icarus refers to Barbatos, Diavolo as well as Luke as their brothers. All three have agreed to be seen and adressed as brothers, please do not correct Icarus if he calls them Brother. It will only result in him quieting down and retreating into himself as well as cause overthinking. Icarus refers to the human sorcerer as his safe space which resulted from Solomon having a similar personality and cooking style as Icarus' father. Icarus refers to the angel Simeon as his creative mentor and also safe space. Icarus refers to the demon brothers as his demons/partners and has pet names for each on specifically. Never seperate Icarus from any of the above mentioned in public. This will cause him to get frightened and spiral into a panic attack. Said indiviuals above will not take kindly to seeing this.

Human Family Icarus doesn´t like talking about or with his maternal family. He and his mother don't get along and Icarus will only feel bad after interacting with his mother. The same goes for his older brother. Icarus loves his sisters to pieces but also doesn't have thje best relationship withthem. His stepsister has a son which he may love but usually is unable to handle the child's tendency to hit, bite or throw his toys if angry about not getting his will. Icarus will avoid that nephew if he can as he doesn't know how to correct the behaviour. Icarus gets along with his father greatly. Do not limit his contact to the envy demon. It does wonders to Icarus mood to see or talk to his father. Just avoid his grandfather. That old demon doesn't know his limits Icarus has two friends he views as family. His Luna and friend Freya, who has a son Icarus views as his nephew. Icarus talks alot with them since he was able to get in contact again. They are very good for him. Just don't say something wrongabaout those. It will only in Icarus going for your blood. (Mammon had to learn it the hard way.)

Daily Routine:

Mornings Icarus' morning mood is depending on his hours of sleep and schedule. If he's slept too little (3-6 hours) or too much (8.5+ hours), please not that he will have difficulties with getting up and ready for the day ahead. Provide him with a small reward if he gets up and ready in a set time frame. Also prepare an energizing but light meal to help him. If he has had the right amount of sleep (7-8 hours), Icarus will get up a hour early, taking a shower and taking his medication before getting dressed and heading down for breakfast to eat with the others. Please prepare a lunch box noting his allergies and prefrances in the food section. He will leave to follow his schedule with enough time to be 15 - 30 minutes early as he will otherwise feel too late/ rude. One of the demon brothers acompany him to his apointments. If they are unavailable the angel Simeon or the sorcecer Solomon will acompany him. Do not let leave alone or with just Luke to ensure his safety and magic's stability. Weekdays He will attend on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays RAD until 2 PM. After that he will return to the House of Lamentation, The Demon Lord's Castle, Purgetory Hall or the Astrology Tower depending on the day. On Wednesday he will be acompanied by Lucifer to the Human realm for his bi-weekly therapy session or to the bi-weekly meeting of the astrology tower. Please prepare pasteries and some time with his devildom family after those events. He will be emotionally/mentally exhausted and need the support/closeness. On the evening of the work-days he will choose between the brothers to spend time with or quietly read in the living room until it is 8 PM which after he will reteat to his room to go to sleep. Weekends Friday evenings are either movie nights with all brothers or an outing to a club/evening event. On Saturday he will join one of the brothers/ a group of the brothers on an outing as well as have a sleep over at night with the other exchange students at purgatory hall. Sundays are his cleaning day as well as his weekly tea meeting with Lord Diavolo.

Food related notes:

Allergies Icarus is not allowed to ingest anything with peanuts and dairy. He will get trouble breathing and chest pain from peanuts. He will get indigestion, stomach cramps and nausea from dairy. Please always prepare his food far away from these things to stop cross contamanation as well as choose dairy free and alternative nuts if required. Please also let him enjoy beef and sugar in moderation as it not only can cause indigestion, stomache cramps as well as nausea (beef) but also skin irratation, flare ups of atopic dermertitis and itchiness (sugar). Likes Icarus has a sweet tooth and loves everything well seasoned and spicy. His favorite meat is chicken and his prefered fish is salmon. He preferce tea over coffee and flavoured water over soda. He prefers cold over hot drinks. Icarus enjoys crossionts and joghurt in the morning if he eats a light breakfast, otherwise he enjoys schwarzwälder schinken, ceverler, ham and dairy free cheese spreads with jam on any bread as well as a soft boiled egg as breakfast. His favorite snacks are any cookie like pastery, especially if its with something like jam. Dislikes Icarus dislikes spaghetti bolognese and even the smell alone makes him nausouse. Do not put stews infront of him, he will not touch them. (soups are fine) Anything bitter will be past to Beelzebub. He cannot stand bitter things as they make his teeth hurt. He will not touch anything unfamiliar unless someone trusted tries it first and explains the flavour, which is most the time one of the demon twins. (Mammon and Solomon are not trusted anymore after tricking Icarus into eating something bitter)

Miscellaneous:

Icarus loves anything with star motive, lavender scent, shiny and in purple, red or turquise. His favorite flowers are sunflowers and lavender. He's a cat person, but loves all pets (excluding insects and anything arachnide). He loves to play cozy and mobile otome games. Icarus favorite console is the switch which he also owns. The half-demon has a cat named Lavendel which he treasures deeply. He is part german, part polish in his human half and half sloth, half wrath in his demon half Icarus speaks english and german fluently, but also knows some japanese and latin. Icarus has arachnophobia, acrophobia, slight trypanophobia and social anxiety. He was nicknamed Panda and Mochi under his human friends because of his everpresent eye bags and love for the japanese desert. He cant stand horror. Icarus will draw and or write when he is content. His favourite book is Silber - Das Buch der Träume. When extremely upset he will reread it. Even if he knows the content by heart. If there are fairy lights on sale, he will buy them. No, there is no way to stop him even if he doesnt need them, he wil find use for them. Don`t wash Mishka (big panda plush) without telling Icarus in advance. He will get nightmares if he doesn't sleep next to someone while Mishka drys.

‘revealed daydream’ Tangle and percy

What ever Magic pervaded this forest, seeped into the Lemur like a hot knife. Her darkest desires brought to life, in vivid color, if only she knew that Percival could see her thoughts, her dreams, her desires brought to the surface. It was an innocent enough dream, yet all the more embarrassing for the poor Lemur.

The cloud of swirling colors, taking form, given shape by the Lemur's own mind. Two warriors battling, the clash of steel against steel! the Excitement of a Duel, Tangle adorned in silver and Gold armor, and Percival and extravagant purple and red armor, red hot flames swirled about her. There blades met again and again, the flash of steel and a wicked smile from the Lemur. She was always on the defensive, always being pushed back! Like clock work the elder knight twisted her wrist and Tangle's blade was wrested free! her visor knocked off and a little cut on her cheek forming a red line of blood.

In a moment Percival pounced on Tangle pushing her to the ground, slowly raising her visor, and locking eyes with hers. Percival licked the wound tenderly once, but then embraced the Lemur, tugging on her armor to pull her close. There tongues Danced, and the Lemur was lost in the moment, before Percival's hand went ever lower reaching between her thighs. The cloud would fade a moment later, like dust on the wind.

The young Squire in the real world flustered even just by her own thoughts and thankful her helm hid the truth. Yet Percival had seen more then Tangle knew, of she would likely fled into the forest in embarrassment. She still felt such thoughts impure, and sinful and struggled to repress them. Yet the more she tried the more she had them, and traveling with Percival only seemed to make them worse!

honestly, when i first saw sora's backstory, i didnt react much, but now im noticing everything and its just really sad to think about

see this little kid who was full of hope? see this girl, that was just an innocent kid full of life, having that one role model that every kid had in some point of their lives?

this girl was then stripped away from everything she loved the moment she realized the truth, that this "role model" of hers was abusing poor innocent creatures, that their people have been brainwashed by this so-called emperess she actually used to follow, having your own parents shun you and take away everything you had and isolate you just because you knew the truth, and said truth wasnt just something bad, no, it was a fucking nightmare to think about, imagine taking that all in at 10

if the merge never happend, she would've been stuck in that sucker of a realm her whole life. she wouldve never been able to continue her childhood, her love for tech, nothing just absolutely nothing. she wouldve been locked away and alone forever, she wouldnt even have her own family by her side

the fact she didnt even hesitate to leave when the merge happend is heartbreaking, she was so fucking young, and was treated so poorly by everyone. imagine staying like that for probably months. she even named herself after that freaking dragon to respect her.

and as someone who actually experienced what sora had to endure when i was a kid, being shunned by my family for nearly a year during that time, i just have to point out that:

ana and sora are two completely different charcters.

when ana left, she became sora. a completely new person that was an ending with a new beginning, seeds that became remenants.

I know alot of people will disagree with me and say that lloyd had a tougher backstory, or maybe harumi, etc, but every charcter experienced something the other wouldnt handle, making no tragedy rougher than the other

denki!kuroba has plagued my mind for the past 24 hours so it's time to drop their design & lore. ( bonus + more lore under the cut! )

( ya'll knew i had to find a way to shoehorn kurokara into this au SOMEHOW. )

while they don't meet during the events of six idol statues of taboo, kuroha does eventually get to meet chorosuke's recently reunited brothers afterwards. strangely enough, it seems that karatsugu knows who they are. kuroha's life before the accident was much like the one kuroba lives ; having attended college for horticulture and working at their grandfather's floral shop. karatsugu and kuroha had known each other for a long time, having become friends in high school and staying quite close into adulthood. because of this, he was absolutely devastated when they suddenly disappeared a year and a half ago while on the way to visit family in yokohama. there were no reports of any crashes or deaths, no missing people found, nothing. it was as if they were spirited away, never to be heard of again. upon learning this, kuroha is rather distraught. even though his face is so familiar to them, the past he recounts to them refuses to come back to them. something they had been keeping a secret from the others at the midorito estate was that they had begun to recollect some things, but what they remembered seemed more like strange dreams than any memories they should have. memories of traveling with mononoke, fighting in gang wars, fending off youkai, a life much like what karatsugu described but not exactly the same... and in all of those memories, the six same faces, so eerily similar yet unsettling different. the most prominent of them all being the faces just like karatsugu's. they aren't sure why these strange memories are all they can recall, perhaps they're finally losing it, but with the brothers' help, kuroha might be able to figure out the true meaning behind them and even remember their life in this universe along the way.

kuroba's name is written in katakana while kuroha's is written in kanji ( with furigana written in hiragana. )

kuroba's first name comes from クローバー ( kurōbā ) meaning clover. when the dakuten from バ ( ba ) is removed, it becomes ハ ( ha. ) the equivalent of ハ in hiragana is は, which is used in the furigana for kuroha's name. the kanji used for kuroha is 黒 ( kuro ) meaning black and 葉 ( ha ) meaning leaf.

yotsubana / 四つ花 ( ヨツバナ ) -> shinigusa / 死に草 ( しにグサ )

yotsubana comes from 四つ葉 ( yotsuba ) meaning four-leaved, notably used in the japanese for four-leaved clover / 四つ葉のクローバー ( yotsuba no kurōbā. ) the kanji for ba in youtsuba is swapped for 花 ( hana, ) which can be read has bana like in the surname tachibana. as a result, their surname can be read as " four flowers. Genderbent mercs. If you even care.

Notes about them under the cut because I put way too much thought into one off designs (even though Sniper and Scout technically aren't one off because I drew them before, came back, didn't like the designs, and decided to do an entire revamp and include three of their pals)

Sniper: Since she's a woman in a hypermasculine society (Australia) she probably grew up with extra pressure to also be hypermasculine, but failed a little extra hard because she's Woman. So, I gave her a lot of teeth jewelry for the intimidation factor they provide, as well as boots instead of regular shoes. I also gave her claw nails so that she can be perceived as extra dangerous. Otherwise, her short hair isn't necessarily a style she likes, but one she feels pressured to have to look more masculine and thus fit in better. I like the idea of fem!Sniper with braids tbh but couldn't see it fitting here.

Scout: Basically, she's both proud and insecure of her femininity. She dresses cute, she has cute stickers, and she constantly rubs it in people's face that they're being beat by a girl. But to be taken more seriously, she also masculinizes herself. Not her love of sports, that's natural, but she acts more boyish and speaks deeper than her natural register. Her young looks and immature attitude probably get her infantilized moreso than canon Scout, much to her great annoyance, which makes her double down on her boyish traits.

Medic: Honestly nothing too major to note. It was just important to me to get across that she's just as willing to sew a baboon uterus into a man as canon Medic is. Added a skirt because Medic is a prime and proper kinda guy, and heels because I think she deserves the intimidation factor.

Spy: Much like Medic, nothing too major to note. However, I think it's fairly evident that she looks the least like her canon character than the others. This is because men's and women's fashion is so different. She's also BLU in a RED lineup because I thought it'd be funny.

Engineer: Unlike the others, I actually based her design on concept art (the post I referenced specifically being here: https://www.tumblr.com/renposter/730118522655686656/official-gender-swapped-versions-of-the-tf2-roster?source=share). Specifically, the Rosie Rivets-esk hair for some of the fem!Heavy concepts, and the boots from one of the actual fem!Engineer concepts. I also included two little details- one is that her sleeve for her right arm is down, tucked into the glove. This is an allusion to her prosthetic hand, since a lot of people tend to have (needlessly) harsh beauty opinions about that, and beauty standards on women are. Especially harsh in the little details. Not to say they aren't harsh on men (I am so sorry you all are expected to look like Greek statues) but this post ain't about that. The second detail is the addition of the Teddy Roosevelt cosmetic, which is like a little good luck charm to her! There's no real reason, I just thought it'd look cute. Oh, and also she's about to bash Spy in with her wrench. Because she's the only one that's noticed. Unless Sniper knows but has stayed quiet about it because I'm a SniperSpy shipper-
