I have a problem. I am always weirdly attracted to Brennan's villains. Yeah, I am famously Brennan's simp and love everything he does, but there is something especially delicious about his baddies. Adrian is the hottest thing that ever was, Nikhil is my heroine, and I still think about Peter sometimes. But this time it got out of control. I used to think that I had some standards, and I am devastated that I find Bobby Dawn attractive. This is against everything I stand for, but Brennan is just that good, I guess.
I know that there's an incredible shortage of Adrian content, but fret not, here's my contribution to the society. I'm late as always, but hey, you know those swooning over a man in priest vestments are just waiting to be fed at least something.
Dedicated to anyone, who got their religious trauma resuscitated or those who unlocked a priest kink bc of him.
I know I'm two years late to the party, but I'm watching season 5 of LA by night and my GOD Adrian (Brennan's ex bishop man) is like So manipulative it's wild. Like he's just shown up to get Annabelle and he's put on this fun paternal condescension/ false concern and it is Really convincing. Like talking about how he thinks that Her soul can still be saved, but that's not true for all vampires, because most of them are monsters and then the next time he shows up, he tells her that he believes everyone can be saved like sir you are lYing.
And then on top of that we again have the paternal oh you're at a very tender time in your unlife, where he puts a time limit on things. I can save your soul, but only right now. Only if you come with me today, which is a classic sales tactic.
And Finally, my favourite, but that Annabelle immediately shows her hand and is like although I was atheist/agnostic, if you can show me proof that Jesus Christ was real, I'll convert right now and Adrian's answer is I'm not expecting to convert you tonight as in not tonight, but later, but soon. and every time in the next two episodes where he insists he's not here to convert her, it's not tonight.
