teach me how to dance with you by @prettyboybuckley | 8.9K
"Hey, no, we don't have to rush into anything you're not ready for, okay?" Tommy says. "There's no hurry, it might be good to take it a bit slow, actually." Buck nods. "Yeah, yeah, okay." "How about we have a beer, and we talk some more, and maybe we can make out a bit more on the couch?" Tommy points over his shoulder towards Buck's living room, his expression one big, playful question mark, definitely a bit hopeful as well, and Buck can't help but smile and nod. "Yeah," he says, grabbing the other bottle of beer left on the counter, "yeah, that sounds like a great plan." OR: Buck explores the wonders of gay sex (slowly, with a really patient, sweet Tommy guiding the way and while having a lot of fun)
when baby puts his mouth on me by @bigfootsmom | 3.6K
“I want you to sit on my face.” All the air leaves Buck’s lungs in a rush. He sits up, straddling Tommy’s waist. “You want me to…” Buck trails off, gesturing to Tommy’s face as a blush burns like an inferno in his cheeks. “Sit on my face, yeah.” Tommy has a craving, and Buck learns there’s a first time for everything.
teach me new things by @jesuisici33 | 2K
“Found it,” Tommy sounds so smug. His fingers keep rubbing that one spot inside Buck. That one small part of his mind that still has the capacity to think is now understanding all those women he’s been with when they kept demanding right there, more, and don’t stop. “Fuuuuck! God, holy shit, fuck!” Buck moans. “Is that-is that my G-spot?” “You mean your prostate?” A chuckle escapes Tommy’s lips. Buck loves the sound of Tommy’s laugh. Would want to hear him laugh at Buck like that if it meant he kept touching Buck right there for the rest of his life. “You like it?” “More. Don’t stop, keep going,” Buck can only respond. He’s pretty sure there’s drool coming out of his mouth. He’s too out of it to care. Or, bucktommy smut, because we deserve it
i wanna breathe you in by @wikiangela | 6.5K
After their first date, Buck invited Tommy in for a beer and a lot of making out.
a good ally by @thewolvesof1998 | 2K
The thing is he brought this on himself, Buck knows that, but it doesn’t help though when Tommy’s huge form is pressing him into the mattress, sweat slick skin, hairy chest pressed into his back in a combination so new and so intoxicating that it has him drooling as the older man thrusts, nailing his prostate with every snap of his hips causing Buck to cry out as he rides that line of pleasure and overstimulation, sheets under him tacky with two load of come already, his achingly hard cock dragging across the sticky fabric in a way that only teases, frustrated tears gather in his lashes as Tommy leans down, lips brushing against the shell of his ear and with a voice that is fucked-out raw, tone mocking and degrading, he breaths, “you’re such a good ally, Evan.” OR Tommy figures out Buck's humiliation kink by accident during sex and they explore it a bit.
tell me all your perversions by @loserdiaz | 5.3K
“We could use the handcuffs I know you have in your drawer.” He blurts out, feeling the heat rush to his cheeks as he sees a playful, teasing smile tug at Tommy's lips and his eyebrows raise so high they almost touch his hairline. “You've been snooping around? Trying to find any skeletons in my closet?” Tommy says it lightly, joking. His arm still secured over Buck's waist. “No, shut up.” Buck hides his head against the guy's shoulder. “I saw them when I was looking for a hoodie a few weeks ago. Haven't been able to stop thinking about it, to be honest.” “Yeah?” Buck feels the chuckle reverberate in Tommy's chest. “Yeah.” He says, voice muffled against Tommy's skin. or: Buck and Tommy try something new in the bedroom.

Its funny isn't it. there's a side of the fandom that can only cope if they think of Eddie as some cardboard cutout that they can project onto. Its why I think they have latched onto T*mmy so quickly, because he is literally their dream beige version of Eddie and for so long Eddie being a character who has his own motivations has ruined their headcannons. Didn't someone work out that Buck this season has had way more scenes involving Eddie than Eddie has involving Buck? But Eddie is supposed to be the one twiddling his thumbs whilst Buck is out there living life etc.
No, but that's exactly it for a portion of the people on the fandom and that is definitely what made people jump straight into T's arms. Eddie is a main character. He has dept and development. He has 6 seasons worth of a personality that doesn't fit the ideal partner they see for the wobbified version of Buck they made up in their heads. And considering the way that canon established Tommy as Eddie two steps to the left that Buck is projecting feelings into, fanon went wild. Tommy has no established personality. He has the begin episodes that paint him in a not so great light. They have the few scenes that exist with Buck where he exists, okay? He's doing the bare minimum. Sometimes not even that. But that means he is a character they can project anything they want into. He's a blank canvas. That means the space can be filled with whatever they see fit. And that means they can take the personality they convinced themselves Eddie had and copy/paste into T and move on. I've seen some awful takes. AWFUL. Like, some people are legit attacking Eddie to make him look better in comparison because they can't deal with the way that Eddie is still Buck's partner in crime. Eddie is not allowed to exist outside of Buck and some people just wanted to see Oliver make out with a guy. T does that. In a blank canvas. The show is historical for handling Buck's love life poorly and people are putting too much weight on interviews. They lie all the time because they can't give things up. I wanna know what's gonna happen if this relationship isn't the smooth sailing people decided it will be. There is a chance it will be fine and end amicably. But there's also a chance that it will get messy. Right now it could tip either way and I don't think that part of the fandom is gonna be ready to deal with shit if it gets messy. If T does something that goes against the perfect pedestal they put him in. People are already ignoring actually canon stuff like the way he left Buck in a curb, failed to communicate why he was leaving until he was in the car, and then didn't come back. So like, it's crazy. And yeah, a lot of Buck's arc so far has involved Eddie somehow, but Buck is adjacent to Eddie's. But I guess that's making it worse, because they don't like Eddie unless he's providing Buck with something they see fit and they are getting that somewhere else. Some people are showing that they don't have critical thinking skills when it comes to queer couples and honestly, that's kind of alarming.

idk I get incredibly angry at homophobes being cast on my gay shows. anybody want the start of my fic where Eddie dumps her bigoted ass and then has a gay ole sexy time with his husband and his husband's new boyfriend? because here. you can have. it's cathartic 💕
test drive - 2K, BuckTommy, BuckEddieTommy, Buddie endgame forever / Explicit
The restaurant is dimly lit in a way that might be classy and romantic, but Tommy’s hand is also on Buck’s thigh. And he’s having a lot of very not-classy, not even very romantic sorts of thoughts. Everything is far more along the lines of, he could put his hand on my dick, and I know what his cock feels like down my throat, and why are we here in a public place when we could be back at my loft taking turns fucking each other until we’re both a mess of cum and lube and sweat and sexy bruises and love bites? Because all of that is way more appealing than what they are sitting here, waiting to do.
If it were just one of their dates, it’d be great. Those are fantastic. Tommy likes to pick him up and take him to nice places and he smiles in a really, really soft cute way that also has an air of, I am going to fuck you until you scream and you will love every second. And holy fucking god, does Buck love every second.
Bisexuality, man. Who knew?
It’s so fantastic. It’s so different? Or maybe it’s just that Tommy is different because he’s ridiculously cool and hot and Buck always really liked when someone knew what they wanted and would take the lead and he could do everything in his power to please them and make them feel good. Confidence is infinitely sexy and competence even more so. And Tommy has all of that in spades.
And Buck loves men. Buck really loves men. It makes so much sense and how had he never even considered? Maybe he considered but he sure as hell never realized wanting a man and being attracted to a man was something that fit so well. Fuck, it fits so well.
Maybe he could even end up with a man someday? Maybe he could marry a man and have a relationship that is like this all the time for the rest of his life? Not that he doesn’t like women still. Women are great. People who don’t identify as either or they identify as both or however they choose— they’re great, too.
Everyone is hot and Evan Buckley is very bisexual, and it just might be one of the greatest revelations he’s ever had.
He’s just really, really enjoying being with a man right now.
He is not, however, enjoying the thought of this dinner. Everything about this dinner makes his stomach a washing machine of anxiety. For no reason. He doesn’t know why. There’s nothing wrong with it.
Why wouldn’t he and his boyfriend go on a double date with his best friend who is their mutual friend, and his best friend’s girlfriend. What is wrong with that? It’s fine. Should be— fun?
Shouldn’t be a bad taste in his mouth that the wine still hasn’t gotten rid of and roiling in his stomach that is really killing his appetite. But it very much is.
Tommy squeezes Buck’s thigh and rubs it in a way that surely is supposed to be comforting. But it makes Buck want to drag him out of this restaurant and back to the loft where he can show Tommy how good he is at fucking him now. Not just because it would be a thousand times better than the prospect of this dinner. The bar is so low on the ground, it’s buried at this point. But also because sex with his new boyfriend is better than— actually, Buck is having a hard time thinking of anything that is better right now.
Very hard time.
They’ve been practicing. Everything. Blowjobs, fucking, fingering, ball massages, prostate milking, rimming— all sorts of really fun things Buck never even imagined could feel so good. Not that he was oblivious to a lot of it. He has toys. His ex was into pegging. Buck might have been unaware of how intense and gay— well, bi. He’s bi now. Buck is bi now. Probably always was but he knows it now. He’s bisexual.— his attraction to men could be. But he was not unaware of sexual acts that feel good to his body.
But it’s totally different with a real man and a real cock and being manhandled by someone who might actually be bigger and stronger than you is really fucking hot.
He checks his watch again and it’s already 7:28. They’re almost half an hour late. Which is so not like Eddie. He’s not sure if Marisol is like that but he knows for sure Eddie is either fifteen minutes early for everything or he texts if there is a problem. Even then, he’s only ever a few minutes late. If that. And last Buck checked, there were no new messages on his phone.
He checks again, and still nothing. Not even to Buck’s message of, hey u ok? u on the way? He frowns and sets his phone back on the table and turns to Tommy. “How long before I’m allowed to be really worried?”
Tommy gives him an amused smile. “You can be worried.”
“How long before we need to bother Athena? Ten more minutes? Five? Sh-should I bother Athena now?”
Tommy’s eyebrows scrunch and he looks at Buck like he’s crazy. Okay, it’s probably crazy. Just. He’s worried? That must be the churning in his stomach. “I’m sure Eddie’s fine. It hasn’t been that long. And he’s Eddie.”
Yeah. Yeah, he’s Eddie. But Eddie was also shot downtown in the middle of broad daylight and nearly bled out all over, and there’s not much anyone can do even if they are trained in hand to hand combat and self-defense and those kinds of things. Not many ways to defend against a sniper round that shouldn’t even be a thing.
Not that Buck is thinking about that. Ever.
He’s just turning into a washing machine over this dinner. That’s all.
Five minutes later, some of it finally eases when Eddie finally shows up and sits down across from them. Alone.
Alone?
“Sorry, guys,” Eddie runs a hand through his hair and breathes like he’s run a hundred miles. He’s hardly been looking distressed at all lately. He’s been glowing smiles and pretty laughs. Not pretty. Nice? Good? Good that he’s so much happier and at peace.
But he’s not that now.
“I would’ve—” Eddie checks his own watch, one that was a Christmas present that Buck had engraved with, all the time you need, and must realize how late he actually is. “Fuck. Sorry. Really sorry. I’ll buy? Unless you’ve already eaten and paid and are about to leave.”
Tommy shakes his head and has that nice smile that’s so reassuring. “We haven’t. Don’t worry about it.”
“We were waiting,” Buck adds and itches to ask him what’s wrong, why he’s late, why he looks— like he isn’t okay.
“Great.” Eddie nods tersely and it sounds anything but great. “They got anything stronger than wine and cocktails here? Because—” He doesn’t say. But he does make a face the conveys everything.
“Doubt it,” Tommy says. “But we can get something somewhere else. Is Mar— Mari?”
“Marisol,” Buck supplies. Not that it matters. Not that he cares. Is he supposed to care? There’s nothing wrong with her. She’s fine.
“Right,” Tommy says, which should say everything. Eddie’s been hanging out with Tommy for months, Buck’s been with Tommy for months, and Tommy is pretty damn good at remembering people’s names. “Marisol. Is she still on the way?”
Eddie’s jaw gets very tight. “No. We’re done.”
Tommy looks at Buck and Buck looks at Tommy. They’re done? They broke up? Not that it’s particularly surprising. Part of the curse of dating someone you met on a call. Gotta be. Also the whole thing where Eddie has some kind of commitment issues or something because as soon as he gets a girlfriend, he has to spend all his time doing anything besides being with said girlfriend.
“So, drinking?” Tommy says.
Buck pushes his wine glass across the table. They usually share when they eat together. Drinks, food, anything. And he’s happy to offer it to the cause.
“Yes, drinking.” Eddie takes Buck’s wine and downs all of it.
Eddie’s single again. Marisol isn’t coming to dinner and she’s not part of their lives any longer. Not that Buck has a problem with her. She’s fine. She was nothing really. That wasn’t going to last. Eddie likes the idea of being with someone. So he says. He’s allergic to actually having a relationship for some reason.
The washing machine in Buck’s stomach disappears though. Which is so much better. Now, it’s just Buck hanging out with his best friend and his boyfriend.
Maybe there’s a little washing machine. It’s nothing though.
They order food and drinks, and Eddie only goes through a couple shots and three glasses of wine and one beer. But he eats and also drinks water and doesn’t seem inebriated at all. So, they focus on the meal and Tommy’s latest work stories of helicopter rescues.
It’s not until after Buck discreetly hands their waiter his credit card before they’re actually brought the bill, that Eddie actually starts talking.
“I kind of fucked up. Didn’t mean to. I owe you an apology,” he says and looks at Buck with worlds of regret and sorrow.
Whatever it is, Buck forgives him. He’s sure he’s done far worse than whatever it is. “Why? What, uh, what happened?”
Eddie doesn’t look at him. Or Tommy. He does shake his head but not like he’s saying no. More like he’s disgusted. “I let it slip that you two are— that you’re. Dating. Together. Boyfriends? Do you call each other that? Are you boyf— never mind, I let it slip. I’m sorry. That was my bad. Not my secret to tell.”
Tommy looks scrunched and confused again and Buck— he doesn’t understand what the problem is? No, he hasn’t told many people yet. But it’s not a secret that he and Tommy are together.
“Eds,” Buck says and immediately thinks he probably shouldn’t have called him that. He doesn’t know why. But he shouldn’t. “It’s fine. I’m not— It’s not a secret. I’m not hiding. Or— or in the closet? I’m out. Now. I’m bi and—” And he’s really happy about that. He really loves it. He’s bisexual. He loves women and men and whoever regardless of gender. And holy shit, does he love men right now. He really, really loves being with a man. He looks to his side and grins brightly at Tommy. “And I’m not ashamed or embarrassed that Tommy and I are together.”
There’s a cute half smile that curves the side of Tommy’s mouth and Buck so wants to kiss him. And do all sorts of other things with him.
“Well. Good.” Eddie taps his finger on an empty shot glass like he’s contemplating ordering another. “Still. Didn’t go well. Didn’t mean to out you like that.”
“Didn’t go well?” Tommy asks. “Saying that Evan and I are dating didn’t go well?”
Eddie purses his lips and does a slow, exaggerated shake of his head. “Nope. But at least I learned that now. Has the waiter brought our check yet? Because I’m just going to drink more if I don’t head out soon. Not that I’m sad about her or anything. I’m pissed. You think you know someone, and no. No, she’s a raging homophobe.”
She— oh. Oh, that’s what happened. “She broke up with you because we’re gay? Bi and gay? Or— you know what I mean.” Is Tommy gay? Or bi? Or something else? Buck hasn’t actually asked what label he uses. How he qualifies his sexuality. He felt weird asking. It’s so personal. Is he supposed to ask? All he knows is that Tommy was into him. Tommy kissed him and it was breathtaking, incredible, magnificent and changed Buck’s whole life. He didn’t really think anything beyond that. Couldn’t really think beyond that.
Eddie definitively points at himself and then at phantom nothingness. “I dumped her. Because I said this was a double date with you guys and she said, well not really, and I said, no really. It’s a double date. Her and me and both of you. Double date. Except not her. Ever. Anymore. Because she had to go off about how it was wrong and made her uncomfortable and I ‘let both of you be alone with Christopher?’ And it couldn’t possibly be a date like me and her would go on a date because she’s a woman and I’m a man and that was normal. But you two are both men. Both muscular, powerful, masculine, manly firemen type men— so it could never be the same especially because neither one of you are flamey or girly or whatever, so it could never work, the two of you since neither one of you is ‘The Girl.’ Which is all bullshit. By the way. Obviously. And,” he finally stops and breathes, and there’s a hard swallow in his throat and his eyes are distant and his whole body is strung tight and if he could breathe fire? He probably would. Holy shit, he’s pissed off. Buck isn’t even sure he’s ever seen Eddie this angry at anyone who hasn’t hurt someone he loves.
Although. Technically she did? Not hurt per se, Buck doesn’t give a shit about what she thinks of him. But she was insulting them. So. Yeah, okay, of course fiercely protective Eddie would be angry.
“And anyway,” Eddie says, still never quite looking at Buck or even at Tommy. Never quite focusing on them. “That’s how I’m single and back on the market again.” He smiles a wide, bitter, snarky kind of smile, and steals the half-full beer glass in front of Buck and downs it in one gulp.

7x04 Coda
Sprained ankles hurt. Eddie shouldn’t be as surprised as he is by the pain, because he knows all too well that the amount of pain injuries feel like is almost inverse with the actual damage they cause. A shot from a sniper felt like almost nothing, while a stubbed toe sends ricochets up his spine.
But that’s nothing compared to the encroaching feeling of dread as Eddie thinks back on his interactions with Buck over the last two weeks, and what might have caused his best friend to lash out at him.
“I think we fucked up,” he grumbles to Tommy, who gives him a quick glance before returning his attention to the road.
“You mean with Evan?” Tommy says.
Evan. That was kind of weird, right? Eddie had only ever heard Buck’s sister and parents call him by his first name before. He’d only used the name once himself, when he told Buck about his will.
But Buck hadn’t corrected Tommy on it, so he must not mind, Eddie supposes.
Eddie shakes that stray thought away.
“Yeah,” he continues, even though talking kind of hurts right now. That didn’t seem fair, it’s Eddie’s ankle that’s injured, not his lungs. “I mean, with me kind of blowing him off to come to that karaoke night… and the UFC fight in Vegas… and the pickup game…”
Looking back on it now, Eddie’s not sure when it all got so out of hand. He and Tommy had hit it off on the Coast Guard ride back to LA, while Buck was off checking in with Bobby and Athena. He’d been so excited as they shared their similar interests and history- army, MMA, old cars- that he’d immediately made plans to hang out. When Tommy mentioned that he could get them rinkside tickets in Vegas, Eddie had jumped on it immediately. He didn’t even think about mentioning it to Buck.
And the babysitting thing… Eddie kind of wants to curl up thinking back to the strange face Buck had made when Eddie asked him to watch over Chris. Buck usually loved hanging out with Chris, even volunteering for it when Eddie mentioned having plans, so he didn’t think twice about asking it of him. He should have known.
“Ooh, yeah.” Tommy lets out a whistle. “We did fuck up, huh. Could have at least invited him to muay thai after the match.”
Eddie laughs a little, strained by the pain and the stirrings of shame. “Buck doesn’t know muay thai. Just boxing.”
“Yeah?” There’s a funny tone to Tommy’s voice. “Maybe we should teach him.”
Eddie does a careful rotation of his inflamed joint. The stretch does help ease the pain a little. “Maybe you should offer him lessons,” he says. “I’m gonna be out of commission for a little bit.”
Tommy glances at him again. A slightly longer one, with them stopped at a red light, kind of searching. “You think he’d be interested in learning from me?”
“Oh yeah. You’re great. And Buck’s a quick study for sure.” Eddie glances out the window, and sees the urgent care clinic sign just past the intersection. “Actually, you think you could do me a favor?”
The light turns green. Tommy drives forward. “Of course.”
“Could you talk to Buck for me?” Eddie asks. “I’m sure he’s feeling all sorts of guilty right now, and it’s not his fault. He just got a little too aggressive at the game.”
It’s really too bad. Buck’s really good at basketball, for someone who hates the game so much. Eddie’s sure he’ll never get Buck to touch a ball again.
“Uh, yeah,” Tommy says, slowly, as he pulls up into the parking lot. “If you’re sure you want me to speak with him.”
Eddie nods. “He’s probably licking his wounds at his loft right now, and he’ll need a bit of a kick in the pants before he comes to see me. I trust you.”
Tommy chuckles a little. “Alright, then. I’ll swing by his place in the morning, before my shift, check in on him for you.”
That’s a relief. They find a parking spot close to the clinic entrance, and Eddie hisses a little as he opens the door and swings his legs out. He needs to be more considerate of Buck’s feelings, going forward. He has the sinking feeling that he’s started to take him for granted.
He’ll have to pay him more attention.

no but imma sob (in fact i already am) but theres something there about how buck was tommys replacement and now years later both of them meet like ughhhh these two are giving me all the feels
no, that gifset of tommy's last day at the 118 followed by buck showing up and then ending with them kissing fully broke me. i literally cry just thinking about it.
like. imagine being tommy kinard, right. you've spent however many years at the 118 in a toxic work environment, closeted, assimilating just because it was safer and smarter to. keeping your mouth shut even when you know you should speak, becoming someone you either don't recognize when you look in the mirror or becoming someone you don't like just for the sake of your career. and then this fucking. tiny ass asian dude comes and he's the catalyst. he's the inciting event. and things start changing around you. in really really bad ways, and then in really really good ways. because it might start with him, but it doesn't stop. then there's a woman and she's one of you and she's the first member of your community (yes, your community) that you've ever met and she's loud about it. she talks about it like she's proud of it, like it's beautiful. maybe to her it is. maybe to you it one day could be. but for now that's asking too much. right now, you'll settle for just not being scared shitless that someone's going to Find Out whenever you get to work and just because the jokes have stopped doesn't mean people don't still suspect.
but the ball keeps rolling. gerrard is out. the last of the old guard is out and this new captain is in and he's quiet and stoic but he's good. he runs a tight ship. and suddenly you're not as terrified to be in your skin as you once were. and part of that is due to the woman. part of it is due to the fact that work becomes the one place you know that who you are, who you love, who you fuck doesn't even matter. funny how that works out. and you become comfortable enough in your skin to leave the 118, and it almost feels like leaving the nest with how much it aches to go because this place - this unpredictable and gorgeous fucking place - has become something of your home. so you go. and you grow. and you keep building on the work you've already started within those walls, kind of like going to college. you build on what your parents taught you and hope you don't fuck it up along the way. and you're tangentially aware of the 118. tangentially aware of the way they always end up on the fucking news and you owe them everything so you throw them an assist every now and then.
and then. then there is this kid. and he's so. weird. and sweet. and cute. and full of so much energy and you're so caught up in his orbit that when he starts getting stroppy you're stealing his best friend, you actually feel kind of bad about it and it's been a while since someone made you feel bad about anything you had no real control over but he's cute and his mouth is begging to be kissed and - oh. you know what this is. so you kiss him and you kiss him and in that kiss it's like every moment that's ever led you here is thrown up on a projector and how funny. how fucking funny is it that this kid is the one that replaced you. that he is a puzzle piece constantly caught in a pull, constantly filling in empty spaces. he filled the empty space you left behind at work, and he got to reap the benefits of the foundation everyone worked so hard to build in the wake of gerrard. and now. now he's filling this empty space in you, the one that gets to be to him what no one was to you and. he's cute and he's beautiful and you can help him and you want to help him because you are the kind of person who is not scared to help now. you open your mouth when someone needs defense and you don't stand around and let a member of your community (yes, your community) walk into this great beyond without a hand to hold tightly onto and it's not a hardship. none of it's hard. not a single bit.
it all comes together in the end, doesn't it.
just. yeah...... yeah. tommy kinard, the man that you are. the man that you fucking are.

I need Eddie to have a complete meltdown about why Buck is so into Tommy.
Like I need his brain to take him down the path of realization because he likes Tommy and they're so alike and it's so great Buck is comfortable but also why is Buck dating someone JUST LIKE EDDIE?
Is something WRONG with Eddie? It's clear Buck has a type - ex military firefighter MMA loving beer drinking Henley wearing man.
And Eddie just CANNOT let it go. Like he's know Buck for 6 years. Surely if Buck was going to have a bi awakening EDDIE would have triggered it, right?
Oh God is he jealous?
Why wasn't it him?! This is unfair and holy shit...does he want Buck to be into him? Is that weird? That's weird, right?
But fuck it if Eddie doesn't get annoyed about it the more Buck talks about Tommy, until one day while they're having a beer on his back porch he just sort of snaps and loses his filter and asks "Why wasn't it me?".
And Buck just stares at him like, "Why wasn't what you?"
"You know." But Eddie doesn't want to say it now because he feels like a dick, like one of those people who assumes his guy friend who dates men must have been crushing on him the whole time. But it still hurts and he just wants to know if there was something about him that made Buck not love him like that.
And Buck's just staring at him while he gets more self-conscious and so he just drinks more beer and thinks maybe he should change the subject but Buck puts his beer down and leans into Eddie's space.
"I didn't think you were an option, Eds."
And Eddie looks at Buck and he feels his heart start racing and his palms get kind of sweaty and he swallows and says the thing that's been crawling around his insides for weeks.
"I want to be."

Not to keep harping on this but I really don't think some of yall are seeing the bigger picture here, and WHY Buddie can't go canon yet.
Yes, great, Buck is canon-confirmed queer/bi. That's only one part of it. Eddie is still straight and in a relationship with a woman. And even if that wasn't the case, they have bigger things to prioritise over their feelings for each other. Like Chris. Like the family unit they've been building since s2. Like their Actual biological families. Like the years of repression and guilt that Eddie has suffered, like the years of self-loathing and guilt that Buck has suffered. Like their literal JOBS being on the line.
Yall are not seeing this. You're not looking at the bigger picture here. Tommy is good for Buck because he is SAFE. There's no bigger circle to consider with Tommy. There's no family dynamic to worry about ruining. There's no years of baggage to carry, there's no risk to their jobs or their livelihood. Tommy is the best possible option for Buck right now.
Buck is finding out something brand new about himself and that can be scary enough on its own. Imagine the fear of all of that, coupled with all the many, many things that could go wrong if he got with Eddie right now. Their relationship would break down too fast, and the fallout would be catastrophic.
Buddie is not READY to be canon yet. Yes they've had close calls and near misses. But they are not ready.
Keep shipping it, keep loving Buddie. But stop expecting for the entire show to screech to a halt so that your otp can make out on screen when it is abundantly clear that they are not ready for each other.

Then walk of shame from the bathroom as Tommy and Vince start laughing and say you guys couldn't wait jump each others bones 🧡
Kinktober day 11: public sex
Tumblr media
A/n: fuckin love Nikki it’s been awhile since I’ve written for him.
Pairings: Current!Nikki Sixx x Fem!Reader
Warnings: age gap, public sexual acts obvi, daddy kink because yes, Nikki is so damn horny for reader lol, dom!nikki, sub!reader, the other guys and wives poke fun at y’all, Tommy being Tommy and cheesy puns lol.
I’ve given up on summaries lol
You were sat at the dinner table after one of Mötleys shows for the world tour. Right now you’re in Mexico City, enjoying some good Mexican cuisine.
You felt Nikki’s hand trail up your leg towards your pussy and you froze for a minute, making sure everyone was distracted before you hissed, “What the hell are you doing?”
Your husband just laughed quietly and put a finger over his lips, silently telling you to be quiet. “Be a good girl for daddy ok?” He whispered in your ear causing you to shiver and goosebumps arise.
“O-ok.” You responded, and then Rain started talking to you. While yes, you are the youngest of the wives, you still get along great with them. So you tried your best to pay attention to your friends words when you felt the bassist move your panties out of the way and stick a finger into your tight hole.
“Mhmmm….yeah.” You said absentmindedly. Brittany chimed in, “Y/n? Girl, you ok?”
Your eyes widened when he rubbed his finger over your clit. That evil bastard he knows you can barely function when he does that.
“Oh-“ you cleared your throat, “I mean yeah I’m fine. I just don’t know if I’m gonna be able to eat anything my stomachs been upset.”
“Aw honey, do you feel like you’re gonna throw up?” Nikki asked with a facial expression telling you to say yes.
“Yeah. I think I should go to the bathroom. I’ll be right back.” You replied quickly and felt the older man’s finger slide out of you. You quickly got up and sped walked to the bathroom.
“Im gonna go check on her. Make sure she’s ok.” Your husband said before too got up and headed towards the bathroom.
“Dude…Nikki’s gonna get some!” Tommy cheered loudly and people looked at him with furrowed brows. Brittany smacked him on the arm, “No shit, don’t need to say it to the world. But yes they’re totally fucking.”
Nikki backed you up against the locked door of the singular restroom and unzipped your dress before tugging it down. Your breasts flopping out of the satin material.
“Fuck, I’m so lucky.” The bassist muttered before attaching his mouth to one of your nipples. You moaned and gasped as he nipped and bit the sensitive skin.
“Mmm, love these tits.” He muttered against you, switching sides to give the other side attention.
You threaded your fingers through his hair as you it relished in the feeling. “Fuck, daddy.”
His hand trailed back down to your clothed covered pussy and tugged your underwear down. His fingers inserted into you and you moaned. “Oh daddy, please!” You weren’t sure what you were begging for. “Yeah baby?” He teased, whispering right in your ear before nipping at your earlobe.
You sighed contently at that, “I want- I want your cock.”
“Oh yeah? You want daddys cock? I’ll give you my cock.” Nikki pulled his pants down enough so that his cock sprang out. He picked you up and you spread your legs instinctively. The raven haired man teased your entrance with his tip before inserting into you, feeling your walls clench around him.
“Holy fuck.” He breathed.
“Nikki- please move. Fuck me please.”
“Don’t worry sweetheart I will.” And he started bucking his hips into you. You moaned as he constantly hit your spot.
You clutched on his shoulders harder, nails digging into the material of his shirt. “Mmm…daddy oh my god.” You cried out as he went harder and faster.
“Quiet, we don’t want anyone out there knowing you’re being fucked like a slut now do we?” He covered your mouth as he said this and you nodded, eyes wide and watering.
Finally, you felt yourself get closer and closer to the edge before clenching around his cock your vision going white for a second as that beautifully overwhelming feeling shot through your whole body.
“Mmm- mph-“ your moans and cries were muffled by his hand, and soon enough you felt him shoot his load deep inside of you.
“Oh!” You breathed in relief.
Nikki planted a sweet kiss to your lips, “So good for me.”
The two of you got cleaned up and walked back to the table like nothing happened.
Of course, Tommy couldn’t keep his mouth shut. “Y/n, are you feeling better?”
Your face went red for a bit before saying, “Yeah. It was just a little stomach bug.”
“Yeah, I’m sure it hit you hard.”
Oh god, Tommy knew. And if Tommy knew, everyone knew.
“Yeah, and Nikki came right after you.” Vince chimed in and Rain kicked him under the table. “Vinnie, not appropriate. She’s clearly embarrassed that we all know they had sex in the bathroom.”
“Oh god.” You said as you buried your face in your hands. The bassist rubbed your back soothingly, “Alright we get it. Everyone knows we fucked. Now let’s eat and forget this never happened. Tommy, say something again and I will kick your ass.”
“Yes sir.” The drummer responded with a mocking salute making everyone laugh.

I've seen people complaining that the people who keep insisting on buddie over bucktommy are failing to appreciate the show's bi representation...
...failing to appreciate what matters - Buck's happiness, one he's finally found by entering a queer relationship...
That buddie shippers are failing to appreciate the canonically queer characters of the show... (Uh..? As it Buck didn't just live 6+ seasons in the closet? He did not materialize out of thin air. No reason why Eddie can't follow.)
And so on. Failing to appreciate.
...We aren't.
Let me tell you why insisting on shipping buddie isn't invalidating anything.
"I'm free." Remember that line? Let me tell you what it means to me, a bisexual.
That line isn't about ...
"Yay, I'm free, my struggles are over - finally I've realized what I need to be happy - a man!"
Nope. He's free because now he's realized his identity, fully. And is ready to start exploring that, and get out of the stale, narrow closet. It's exciting, freeing!
However.
This new area he has discovered does not erase the pre-existing parts of his identity.
He isn't gay.
The relationships with women were never lies, they were genuine relationships. He definitely fell for his girlfriends, for Abby the hardest. The relationships with women failed for many reasons - none of them being Buck's sexuality.
My point is this. We bisexuals are more than just our sexuality. We are human beings, with personalities.
What matters isn't what gender Buck dates.
It's whom he dates.
And that's why we ship Buddie. Why we keep shipping buddie.
Because Buck and Eddie click. They spark. Their relationship has substance, complex history. They know each other. They have each other's backs. They're a great match.
Tommy? He is pretty and fun, probably good for Buck's growth but...
Who is he, really?
What exactly makes you think these two are right for each other, as a couple? Personality-wise? What are his flaws, his strengths? How do they fit with Buck's?
Tumblr media
Because really. If all you care about is sexual chemistry? Then go watch porn. There should be more to a romance, a relationship, to a love story than that.
So yes, I will keep shipping buddie and I'm not sorry. You are of course perfectly free to ship whatever you wish, as well!
I do not make this post because I wish to be hateful and hate on this new ship.
I make it to explain my point of view.
Because people need to realise that to us, or at least to me..
Sticking to this ship, buddie, isn't about failing to appreciate the show's canonized queer characters or representation. We love the show, the representation, we are invested in it.
And it isn't about letting the queer community down.
It's about believing in it's worth. We queers deserve complex love stories, too. Just like everyone else.

I've seen so much discourse about Bucktommy and especially Tommy and it is so wild. I just want to write down some of my thoughts over all of it because that tends to help me to stop thinking about it.
"Oh, how can anyone just abandon Buddie for Bucktommy?"
Has anyone really abandoned Buddie, though? Or are they just for the moment very excited about a new and so very carefully portrait queer story line? Just because some people talk more (or for the moment only) about Bucktommy, doesn't mean they don't like Buddie anymore. They just have something shiny and most importantly canon to fawn over for the moment.
Also, I'd like to give that question back: Why aren't you all excited for a carefully and softly portrait new queer storyline about a character a huge part of the fandom—including the actor himself—hoped for years would get a queer story line?
And it's a pretty unique queer story. Of course, we had Michael figuring out his sexualtiy and growing comfortable in it right at the beginning of the series. But there are some huge differences between Michael's story and Buck's story.
For one, we ended up in the middle of that story. Michael had already done a huge part of the work of getting to know himself. He was ready to live as a gay man. And second, nothing of what we saw until season 3 was from Michael's point of view. It was all from Athena's point of view.
So it was a "coming-out late in life" story line, sure. But it was a queer storyline from a straight perspective. And in some instances, from a very hurt perspective about it all (which are, of course, very valid emotions for Athena, May, and Harry, but it still gave the queer side of the story line a certain taint). And they did that beautifully, too, no doubt. I especially liked that the family didn't break over it, that they grew with that experience, and that Michael and Athena became great friends over the years.
But now we also have a "coming-out late in life" story line from the queer perspective! 9-1-1 is pretty much the only series I'm following right now, so I have no idea if we had something similar recently. But from all the talk I've seen, it's pretty damn unique, especially for a male bi character. So, of course a lot of people are super excited about it. Because it's honest and good representation that the writers and the actors are handling with a lot of care.
"Oh, if it were a female love interest, you'd all hate her again!"
First of all, go back read that paragraph about many people being excited about getting a queer story line again! I think that's about 40% of the answer for everyone wondering about it.
And then, of course, Tommy has now already more depth and character and background than we ever saw about Ali or Natalia. And despite some people claiming he didn't have any kind of redemption arc, he truly had a lot more of a redemption arc than Taylor ever got even if only glimpses of it were ever shown on screen. (Maybe I'll get into my thoughts about that in another post.) Not gonna talk about Abby, because I think most of the dislike for her came long after that relationship was over after she ghosted Buck (and after Eddie had shown up).
One huge difference between every love interest of Buck or Eddie we have seen in the past to Tommy is also, that Tommy gets along really well with Eddie. We've already seen a friendship develop there. That never happened with any of the women either Eddie or Buck dated before. We saw that one dinner Buck and Taylor had with Eddie and Chris, but it was very clear it was the first time, and that was over half a year into Buck and Taylor dating, probably more like nine months.
If you wear slash googles around Buck and Eddie or not, their deep friendship is undeniable. It's very much canon that they both have a hand in raising Chris. Any love interest coming in has to deal with that, and has to somehow fit into that friendship. Tommy is the very first love interest in canon we have ever been shown to have that potential at all.
I'm personally part of the fandom that thinks that Buck and Eddie have great potential in a romantic way, BUT that they are first and foremost soulmates, no matter if platonic or romantic. And at least the Bucktommy fics I've read so far have all acknowledge the friendship of buck and Eddie and Chris' role in Buck's life. With Tommy being very accepting and supportive of it. (Though, I admit I’m very careful in my selection process.)
"Oh, Bucktommy is only a steppingstone for Buddie anyway! Don't get so invested in it!"
Who are you tell anyone what they should get invested in? I also think, with the excitement right now, even if Bucktommy break up, the ship itself will live on in fandom.
And also, didn't any of you learn out of the cheating story line they settled Hen and Karen with?
There is barely any content for Henren*. And I've been looking! Most stories they are tagged in don't really focus on their relationship. And those who do focus on their relationship get barely any attention. And you know why that is? Because a lot of people can't or don't want to deal with the cheating. (I deal with it by trying to ignore it or seeking out content where it's fixed!) Do you all really want to have a second queer story line that centers around cheating?
And even if none of you care for Henren (which... I know many don't *shrugs sadly*), have you all already forgotten the real pain over Buck kissing Lucy and then not fessing up to Taylor about it right away? (Once again, I deal by either ignoring it or seeking out content that fixes that bullshit.)
I'm honestly pretty disgusted by all the speculation about 7x06 that has anything to do with Buck and Eddie cheating on Tommy and Marisol during the bachelor party. And even more so about all the fics one can find about that, or that use Tommy as a device for Buck and Eddie realizing they are in love. (Honestly, even filtering out the other relationship tag while looking for stories in one relationship tag doesn't prevent one from stumbling over those stories right now, no matter if one is currently looking for Buck/Tommy or Buck/Eddie stories. It's so fucking annoying. I've turned to only reading old Buddie fics for the moment.)
Aside from the whole cheating of it all, why do any of you think the next episode will focus on anyone else but Maddie and Chim?
"Bucktommy is so racist! But really, no surprise in this fandom!"
What's no surprise is that "racist" is once more used as a buzzword in this fandom. To the point that BiPOC fans of Bucktommy are being told they are racist for the ship they like. (Nothing new about that in this fandom either.) Honestly, half the arguments about why the ship is oh so racist either make my head hurt while I try to follow the many, many, many mental loops people are making to get there, or they just make me laugh outright.
Do some of you really believe it when you say "Buck got together with a White man instead of his Latino best friend, so of course that's racist!"??? I'm just... Are you okay? Do you maybe need something warm to drink, a snack, and a nice place somewhere in the sun far away from the internet to just enjoy nature for a little while?
As I said, I'll probably make another post about Tommy's redemption arc over the whole "He is an unrepentant racist and misogynist". That redemption arc exists and has been baked in since season 2 (even if some of people clearly lack the media literacy to see it). Though, other people already put together great meta posts about this. But maybe if there are enough of it, some people will for once acutally read and start to think instead of continuing to spew their hate.
*PS: If anyone has good Henren contant, especially fanfiction, feel free to drop me a DM. I'm always looking!

911 ep 705 first watch reactions
Of course 911 would "punish" the "You are the boss of you!" guy with an alien hand that attacks him, and does what it wants. Pooor Buck and Eddie paying the price for that...
Okay, love the storyline with Hen and Karen possibly eventually adopting an older girl. Too many shows just find easy, unrealistic ways to give their same sex couples kids, and I am really glad that 911 shows the reality of it, and that it is a more complex struggle for many, that it's an act of continuously choosing to be parents. That's actually an amazing, difficult thing, and it should be faithfully depicted and respected, for all of its heartache, and the little moments of triumph.
Buck and Tommy on a date, and Eddie comes along with Marisol? Love how Buck's bisexual awakening and coming out continues to involve Eddie so much. Tell me they're end game, even if they're not gonna get together right now, without telling me they're...
I did not need to learn Marisol is moving in with Eddie like this, with any build up, or even any sort of insight into the relationship, and nope, that does not bode well for them. IDK how 911 managed to do it, but they have somehow managed to give Eddie a love interest the show is even less invested in than Ana.
And the funniest bit, is that Marisol and Eddie's big development is only there to further Buck's journey anyway.
"You can never have too much closet space" LMAO the way 911 both made me laugh, and feel sorry for poor, baby bi Buck. XD
Hmmm. Were parts of this scene cut out? We don't get to see Eddie on his own date with Marisol, but constantly looking over at Tommy and Buck? Boo. I'm glad we at least got the BTS photos, then. But seriously, why!? That was gonna be so delicious.
Oh, Tommy's breaking up with Buck. I mean, good for him, and he ain't wrong after Buck's "after this, we're gonna go out looking for chicks" reaction, but man do I feel sorry for Buck. Him and Tommy might not be my end game (Buddie forever will be), but I do think this relationship could be good for our baby bi. Tommy being in the same profession, knowing what it's like to have this gap between who you are and the image of guys in your line of work, plus he's got more experience than Buck, is sure of himself, can help our boy figure himself out, and also Buck obviously does like his vibe. He deserves to be with someone he actually likes, not just the first woman willing to be with him that the plot pushed in his way.
Oh, baby Buck. :( You didn't even tell Maddie about Tommy. You really aren't ready it. But also (and as a Buddie shipper, more importantly), Tommy broke things off with Buck, but what is eating him up, is that he lied to Eddie. XD Yeah, this gonna end with wedding bells, sooner or later. On screen, off screen after the show ends with canon Buddie, or only in my head if 911 never dares make Buddie canon, I don't care. That kind of emotional devotion is not something that my hopelessly romantic heart can ignore.
OMG, this is how Buck comes out to Maddie? XD Via random pronoun mention, and as a by product of trying to figure out how to tell Eddie the truth? This is hilarious. lol It really makes it clear that, after all, the issue for Buck really isn't people knowing he is also dating guys (or checking their asses), even when it's the other closest person in the world for him, it's Eddie. Specifically. Buck's ready, even if he doesn't have the exact clear words yet, he's just not ready to tell Eddie. Can't imagine why. XDDD
What was that awkward post-sex scene with Eddie and Marisol? And the issues with her moving in are popping up a second after she has. But yeah, we have no idea who this woman is as a person, she's been a cardboard cut out so far, and then one of the first things we do learn about her, is that she would call her stuff better than Eddie's? Once again, this is not the stuff great romance is made of. Or... even just the stuff any kind of romance is made of.
Wait, Marisol was a nun, and Eddie didn't even know!? This whole ep is telegraphing in the news of how weird and awkward and underdeveloped this r/s is, not just for us as viewers who know nothing about Marisol, but apparently for Eddie as well.
And of course his Catholic guilt is gonna kick in now. I'd care, except 911 has given me absolutely no reason to. Seriously, I care more about Buck and Tommy after just 2 eps, than Eddie and Marisol, even though this is technically her 2nd season on the show.
Of course Buck went to find Eddie, and spotted him at the gym. Forever 201 vibes, with Eddie being the focus of Buck's attention. ^u^
I couldn't care less about Eddie's Catholic guilt crisis, and how it's actually a projection of what his real issues are with Marisol, but it's nice to see that as always, Buck's the one who can tell when something's off, and offer Eddie exactly what he needs (even when that's to talk to someone else, but Buck figures out immediately who the right person to address is), and then they just very naturally switch, because Eddie can also tell when something's off with Buck, and he wants to tell him something. Soulmates. THAT is the stuff that great romance IS made of.
:/ The imagery of Catholic nuns has not been around for over 2,000 years, please stop being ignorant about your own religion, and the very different way it looked in its early days.
Bobby is forgiven, he does give good advice, and his "her ex, the Lord" bit, which prompted that reaction from Eddie, is hilarious. XD
So... when Eddie is having issues with Marisol, he already knows he has to figure out how he feels about her, but instead of doing so, he goes to his safe place... Buck's loft.
Man, Eddie being into Tommy's choice of avoidning relationships with women, and hanging out with boys, after in the past, Eddie had dealt with his Shannon issues by running away from her, and re-enlisting in the army, where he gets to hang out with boys, when we all (Buck included) know why Tommy's "hanging out with boys"... I do like that if they want to (and hopefully they do), this further lays the groundwork for Eddie's own queer realization.
Buck and Eddie helping each other with their respective romantic problems, without realizing they are each other's respective romantic solution is gonna make me chew on my own fists. Again. But I'm not even a little bit surprised that Eddie was totally fine and accepting of Buck being bi, or that the first thing he thought of is how this reflects on them. Because their friendship IS way deeper and closer than normal for platonic friends, and Eddie's little reassurance is also an admission of that.
Man, for a second I was worried they also cut out Eddie in the loft, once more putting his thumb on Buck's pulse point possessively, in a perfect parallel to 303. I would have sued for emotional damages. But yeah, it says so much that the peak of emotional meaningfulness for Buck when coming out is in relation to Eddie, and that the scene itself peaks with Eddie, instead of finishing rushing out to take care of his own romantic business, hurries back to Buck first, to hug him, place his hand on Buck and give him orders. "Sure, you're gonna be dating this guy, but I'm still your real husband."
Well, at least Eddie amitted to himself and Marisol that he doesn't actually know her. But... I have never seen two people being both being so happy about not moving in together, and I'm supposed to think this r/s has a chance? Okay. Suuuure.
The scene with Buck going to Tommy to set things straight ready for something was lovely, it was nice seeing him excited, and get to choose, and hear he's wanted. But since the note Tommy and Buck's storyline in this ep should have ended on, is Buck showing Tommy he's ready enough to let others know he's dating a guy by inviting Tommy to come with Buck to Madney's wedding, then why is the very next scene playing the romantic switch again, making us think Buck's car just arrived at the wedding with him and Tommy, only for Buck and Eddie to walk in together? I see what you did there, 911.
Thank you for reading! If you're looking for more, you can find my s7 reactions tag here, and more of my Buddie meta and content in my pinned post. xoxox

Fuck it Friday
tagged by @tizniz @wikiangela @jamilas-pen wrote this instead of doing homework isn't bucktommy great? aren't we blessed to have that (CANON!) ship in our lives? isn't that kiss just the best thing to ever happen on our television screens? I can't stop staring at it and had to write some bucktommy smut because I'm just fucking happy about this last episode guys I can't even tell you it's nsfw so snippet under the cut!
“Theeerrreee you go.” Tommy whispers. “So good taking me. Now let’s get you stretched out for my cock.”
Fuck. Fuck, fuck, fuck. Tommy’s finger starts to move, first just a simple in and out motion for Buck to get used to the sensation. Then his finger seems to start searching for something. Distantly, Buck hears himself moan as Tommy’s finger starts to become two, stretching him even further. Buck’s always been loud in bed, moaning whenever his cock is wrapped around a pussy or in a hot mouth, but these moans are different. These moans are forced out of him just like Tommy’s fingers are fucking in and out of him, drawing something out of Buck. Then the pads of Tommy’s fingers brush up against something inside Buck and he spasms in pleasure and shock.
“Is that-is that my G-spot?”
“You mean your prostate?” A chuckle escapes Tommy’s lips. Buck loves the sound of Tommy’s laugh. Would want to hear him laugh at Buck like that if it meant he kept touching Buck right there for the rest of his life. “You like it?”
“More. Don’t stop, keep going,” Buck can only respond. He’s pretty sure there’s drool coming out of his mouth.

Ok! My thoughts on 7x05!
First, i just wanna say that the whole Hen and Karen storyline is awesome! I love that the show is giving queer people so much screen time, especially a Black lesbian couple! And i think its super sweet that they really want to try for Mara! I hope it works out!
Next, i think that has been my favorite cold open so far. The “ITS MEEE” gets me every time (i have already watched it loads of times). I dont have much to comment on it other than it was funny as fuck
Ok. The date scene. I was hoping to see more of Eddie watching them (especially after the stills), but oh well. The second-hand embarrassment i got was… a lot. But i dont think its necessarily a bad thing. It showed how out of his comfort zone Buck was and how he was trying to navigate a terrifying situation. And Tommy? I might have to retract my earlier retraction. Cos wtf?? Literally had just finished talking about how its hard to accept yourself in a “macho” field, then makes a dig at Buck when he fumbles? Not cool. Then not communicating what was happening until he was getting in the Uber? You dont just abandon someone at a restaurant like that. I understand the “you’re not ready” thing, but that was a dick move.
Also, Buck, baby. Sweetheart. Darling. “I look at hot guys’ asses.” Sweetie. Like Maddie said. You are more than an ally lmao. I also just love how Maddie showed interest in getting to know who Buck was talking about and treating the convo after like a normal convo. Because it is! And i love it! But she also emphasized talking to Eddie, because she knew that Eddie would not react poorly. I feel like that just shows how everyone knows how close Buck and Eddie are. TLDR, Maddie is an awesome sister and Buck is lucky to have her ❤️
Next point, the scene where Buck and Tommy talk over coffee. I do think that the hand holding at the end is very sweet and shows how Buck is really trying to be more open, but Tommy is just really starting to rub me the wrong way. Pretty much everything he said contradicts what happened in the date scene. I feel like him being at the wedding is really gonna spark some Jealous Eddie, tho, so i am excited to see that lmao
And Eddie and Marisol? I feel like the show is going in a direction that leads them to breaking up. Like yes, it is showing growth for Eddie and allowed him to acknowledge that he has Catholic guilt, but theres just. No chemistry. It feels awkward. I feel like her being an ex-nun is gonna bring up some issues with Buck and Eddie will not stand for that. I also wanted to point out that i got even more vibes that Eddie could be demisexual, cos he didnt straight up say that he loved Shannon, just that he loved being married to her. And he knows that he is moving too fast and needs to step back a bit
Finally, Buck coming out to Eddie. I do find it funny that Eddie seemed more shocked that Tommy wasnt straight than figuring out Buck isnt straight. But its awesome that Eddie showed interest and genuinely wanted to help Buck through the issue. And the hug? Finally! Give me men not being afraid to hug each other! I feel like this is allowing Buck and Eddie to become even closer (i do hope for Buddie eventually)
Overall, i feel like this episode was great for setting up the development of Buck and Eddie’s relationship (whether it ends up being platonic or romantic). And i am all for Buck exploring his sexuality with someone that isnt Eddie. While Tommy isnt my favorite right now, i do think that he is great for the progression of Buck’s story. I do hope to see more of Dad!Bobby in the coming episodes and how Buck’s parents might react to Tommy. I dont wanna wait three weeks for the next episode 😢. Im ready for the chaos of the Madney wedding
If i think of anything else ill add on, but i think thats all i have for now. Feel free to share your thoughts!

As much as I love the idea of Eddie and Buck being together, I so badly want Tommy and Buck to have a healthy, long-lasting relationship.
I've seen some people wanting Eddie to realize how he truly feels about Buck the moment he sees him with Tommy, but I just don't think that would be the best option. Eddie is in a relationship right now and seems pretty happy so I don't think he will suddenly forget about his girlfriend the instant he sees Buck with another man.
Also, I think Buck really had been trying to get Tommy's attention although the little scene of him working out at the firehouse around Eddie doesn't make it seem that way. That time was clearly a very frustrating time for Buck (overwhelming feelings that he might not have fully understood right then and there) and I don't think that one scene should be used as ammunition against how Buck feels for Tommy.
There is so much that is good about this situation, and I love seeing so many people happy and excited for Buck and his exploration of his sexuality. I don't think we should muddle that exploration by trying to force our own wants onto his story. If you asked me two weeks ago if I wanted Buck and Eddie to get together in season 7, I would have said yes, but now I think Buck deserves the chance to explore his relationship with Tommy. And if Buddie ever comes to the screen, that would be great, but if it never does, that is also great because there is something beautiful happening.

oh I AM WALKING
Tumblr media
Like……i just. Hm. Okay. So like
Season 8: Buck is exploring and having fun with his newly discovered sexuality. With tommy or whoever. Doesnt matter. We see Eddie dealing with the layers and complexity of his catholic guilt. Him starting to truly discover what it actually is HE wants for himself versus what he think’s supposed to want.
Buck throughout the season, while dating, is having fun and he’s happy but he starts to feel like there is just still something missing but he doesn’t know what it is. We see the boys stories parallel in that way for most of the season. S8 finale. Big emergency cliffhanger. Trapped dads vibes okay. Perhaps feelings come out. Buck realizes “oh shit. Im in love with Eddie” and tries to tell Eddie but then something bad happens. Bam! End of season.
Season 9: buck is reeling from this realization but like. They almost died so all emotions are on 10. They are in the hospital talking about everything but the elephant in the room. They talk about the will and what it means. Its heavy. Eddie telling Buck again that there is no one else for his son. No one else for HIM. “Its only ever been you Buck” and they are just sitting in this moment with so many words left unsaid. Both of them scared of the magnitude of their feelings.
The season continues as both of the boys try and navigate through what it means to be in love with your best friend. Eddie possibly working through having feelings for a man. Buck scared of losing what they have but also knowing that Eddie is it for him. Maybe mid season, they finally sit down and talk. Buck tells Eddie in so many words: I want you. I want this life we have made together with Chris. I love you. Eddie feels the same way. they both agree: we need to be sure, because once we go there, there is no going back. This could be a great thing for both of them but they have to be ready for it.
Now as 9B goes on, we see flirty Buddie. We see them basically together but not together ya know? They are happy taking their time cause they know the wait will be worth it. Now of course cause this is a primetime drama, some very traumatic/ dramatic will happen in the season finale. Now while nothing happens to the boys physically, whatever big ugly thing that happened, they just want to be with each other afterwards. They are each other’s home. We get a scene in the finale of them at Eddie’s house, on the couch. Eddie basically says that he doesn’t know if he will ever be 100% ready (more to do with his feelings about his own shortcomings) but that he is 100% sure about them. About Buck. He says I love you. Buck says it back. Then Buck proceeds to give his own love declaration. All these beautiful words about how Eddie has been what he has been looking for all this time. That this life is short (they understand that better than most) and he wants to spend whatever time he has left with Eddie and Chris. Cue first kiss. Cue thousands of fan girls dying. End season.
Season 10: now that they are together i feel like the lead up to an engagement could be fun. They are all happy and in love and they are sappy and Chris is making fun of them. Maybe on a call, or somewhere else Buck introduces Eddie as his fiancé and Eddie is like ????? And we get some fun spiraling. Eddie talks to Hen or something. “I would know if I was proposed to right? I mean we’ve only been together a few months???” And Hen is just like “yall have been Buck and Eddie for much longer than that” so that leads to Eddie asking Buck about it. Buck is like yea I said I wanted to spend the rest of my life with you remember??? And Eddie is like that isn’t a proposal! A proposal usually includes a question like WILL YOU MARRY ME? Again. We’re having fun with this. So Buck is all like okay. Eddie, will you marry me? eddie thinks he’s joking but he’s not. The moment goes from light and fun to intimate and emotional. We get some more “you’re it for me. I love you” Buck is choosing Eddie. Eddie is being chosen. Eddie is choosing to be happy for himself. Eddie says yes. BAM! LET THE WEDDING PLANNING COMMENCE.
(Now obviously this is just idiots ramblings. These are bones and they story would need meat and muscles to become fully fleshed out but. I just. Ya know. Had feelings)
