It's TTRPG time again!! More of my beloved OCs from over the years drawn in the last couple weeks.

It started when I asked myself what race I played more than usual in TTRPGs and the answer was an astounding and unsurprising 'tieflings'. Then after drawing my tieflings I was like, well I can't forget all the other characters either! Genasi, half elves, kitsune, aarakocra, BUMBLEBEE ... I've had a very lucky string of I've gotten to play and some truly incredible groups to play with.

I hope I get a chance to ink these sketches someday. Thanks for coming by and looking at my wibbly sleepless doodles in the meantime <3

I think the absolute beauty of Clark's story is, in itself, it is Lisa Thompson's victory. His mother defied statistics and survived his birth, she raised him not just as a single mother but a single human mother to a supernatural creature that didn't just not have a community to get knowledge from but was an actively sought after creature to kill during its adolescence. She survived, she made sure he survived. She gave him an angel's name as his middle name as a FU to both the celestial and damned and she raised him with love and care despite everything.

And with this arc of healing Clark's going through where he's letting himself FEEL again, that's allllll her, baby. All the good parts of Clark were Lisa and they couldn't be snuffed out and they're peeking through whatever bullshit Clark tried to smother them with to protect himself.

She really said the world will not harm my child in a way that lasts and put her whole ass self into that goal and by golly she's accomplished it, even from the grave.

AU Time, AU Time!!

This AU has quite a few alterations! The main ones are included here, but there'll be more noticable ones that will come later!

- King Koopa has custody of his kids and isn't an asshole! (Wowie!)

- The Koopalings are MUUUUUCH younger and their age order is different

- SPECIES SHIFT, SPECIES SHIFT, SPECIES SHIFT-

- The Broodals live on Earth

- Peasley and Toadstool aren't avalailable for asks in this AU because their kingdoms don't like Koopas

Koopa Species & World Geography:

This map is a good reference point for where the countries are and the diversity of environments in this world. There are many species of Koopa depending on the environment:

Sky Koopas: High altitudes, in the sky (Sky Land, Cloud Kingdom, Mengeruine Clouds)

Sea Koopas: Warmer oceans / lakes (think near the islands, beaches, and Lake Kingdom)

Sand Koopas: Any desert (Layer Cake Desert, Sand Kingdom

Pirahna Koopas: Pipe Land

Snow Koopas: Very cold areas (Ice Land and Snow Kingdom)

Rock Koopas: Mountainous regions (Rock Candy Mines

Jungle Koopas: Soda Jungle

Grass Koopas: Standard, normal Koopas. Found just about everywhere

This guide also applies to the Koopa Kids, as they follow the Koopa species.

These species give each of the Koopalings (& Kids) quirks. (Except Cheatsy and Larry.)

Sky Koopas (Ludwig & Bully) have wings and hollow bones. As babies, Sky Koopas use a humming bird's wing pattern to fly.

Sea Koopas (Wendy & Kootie Pie) have gills and fins that make them EXCELLENT swimmers.

Jungle Koopas (Iggy) and climb and camoflauge, as well as easily tear through bark to eat tree bugs. (Iggy had to break a habbit of eating ants.)

Sand Koopas (Big Mouth and Roy) have many spikes to avoid being eaten. They also take on a reddish-brown colour to blend in with desert rocks when hunting. They have great digging ability, so they can chill under the sand during the scorching day. The varients of Sand Koopas have different tails, such as rattle snake (Big Mouth) and scorpion (Roy). Oh, also, they're venomous! And scorpion Sand Koopas can sting :3

Rock Koopas (Morton) are Desert Koopas evolved to climb mountains and fight others to become king of the hill to get the best (limited) vegetation. Their most notable feature is their horns.

Snow Koopas (Lemmy, Hip & Hop) are furry and get very weak in the heat. They also love fish. They tend to purr when happy, and often knead. Like cats, they have retractable claws.

Pirahna Koopas (Kooky) are known as the "freaks" of Koopas because they act the most feral. They bite, have cloroplast in their tail, have odd coloured eyes... The rumours have been that they're merges of Pirahna Plant and Koopa, but it was actually evolution slowly turning Pipeland Koopas into partial pirahna plants.

Koopalings

The koopalings JUST got adopted by Bowser. Their age order (oldest to youngest) goes Iggy, Morton, Lemmy, Ludwig, Roy, Wendy, Larry. (This is a reference.) They all have separate parents (except for Ludwig & Roy, as they're twins) that passed away in some horrific accident. (I love giving my characters trauma! <3) Their ages go as such:

Larry -> 4

Wendy -> 5

Roy & Ludwig -> 7

Lemmy -> 9

Morton -> 10

Iggy -> 12

They all take magic lessons from Kamek, and designed their wands to their liking. (Morton was TOLD to not make a hammer, but he didn't care.) Due to PTSD, they can be hostile, jittery or distressed at points for seemingly little or no reason. They try to adjust to their new life as royalty.

Koopa Kids

King Koopa keeps custody of his kids in this AU! Many koopas from all over the world volunteered to birth the king's children, but once they lounged around to get enough luxury items, they left. Bully was born paralysed from the waist down, but when unable to use his wheelchair, he gets around by flying. Also, Cheatsy is trans in this AU, but unlike the main world, King Koopa is fully supportive of his younger princess. (She dresses like Kootie Pie, but in hues of blue.) The only mother that still bothers to visit is Kooky's mother, who is much the opposite of Pirahna Koopa stereotypes and often comes to calm her son. The Koopa Kids age order is as follows:

Bully -> 14

Kootie Pie -> 11

Big Mouth -> 9

Kooky -> 7

Cheatsy -> 6

Hip & Hop -> 3

Broodals

The Broodals are a mafia gang! Madame Broode (called Mama Broode) is the mother figure and leader (as well as the birth mother of Hariet). Hariet is uninterested in joining the gang, and Mama Broode respected her wishes by getting an apartment near a wealthy school so Hariet could study and "become anything she wanted to make Mama proud". Meanwhile, Mama Broode took orphaned boys into her gang, including

Topper, an abandoned bun with a lazy eye and a stutter

Spewart, an aggressive and protective older brother mourning the recent death of his parents and coping with homelessness

Rango, a non verbal child trying to comprehend everything.

Their ages go:

Topper -> 8

Hariet -> 16

Spewart -> 12

Rango -> 3

Y'all want my hot take on why we didn't have a Marshall movie for the second movie, but this time not focusing my answer on Skye?

THEY WERE AFRAID OF AUDIENCE REACTION.

No, really.

Marshall is a fan favorite, NOT ONLY AMONG KIDS - they gotta please the kids parents and relatives too, it's the parents and relatives who will spend their fortunes on buying Paw Patrol merchandise for their kids and throwing birthday parties with custom "I'm the Paw Patrol kid's dad/mom" matching shirts.

THEY KNOW IT'S NOT ONLY KIDS WATCHING THEIR SHOW AND MOVIES, heck they're all adults working there and you need TO LOVE kids stuff to create and/or work on GOOD kids animations. And EVEN MORE NOW after the Mighty Movie, they KNOW two things:

1- The younger kids might not care MUCH, but the older ones will and the percentage of adults that follow the show will as well: Everyone who loves Marshall will NOT be satisfied with just anything.

Usually the people who work on movies are not all the same from the show, so both things can run and get produced without interfering with each other. The people working in the movies are bound to know how the audience is reacting to the show in order to get things done okay in the movies as well, or at least do whatever they can do under what orders they receive.

They know people have been unhappy about Marshall being put more in the sidelines, they know people are unhappy with how they're following orders to give Skye more spotlight in the show which means she's been doing rescues that usually would be more suited for Marshall. It's like she's pushing Marshall to the sidelines. I don't even remember when was the last time I saw Marshall work as EMT and I don't remember last time I even saw his Ambulance in the show (I'm currently at the beginning of 7th season). They might even know how people miss Marshall's interactions with other pups, especially with Chase, as in the beginning they were portrayed as best friends, playing together, doing things together, and now it's like they're all just coworkers. My guess on that is because they're avoiding situations that can be used for shipping characters XD Given the whole issue with ideologies and whatnot now, I wouldn't be surprised they're avoiding anything remotely close to that.

They know people are unhappy and wish for Marshall to get his spotlight back.

2- THEY KNOW WE'RE UNHAPPY WITH HOW MARSHALL HAS BEEN PORTRAYED IN BOTH MOVIES SO FAR. Especially the whole issue about his clumsiness, which is barely hinted at in the movies, even if we see a lot about it in the show. Not to mention how it's treated mostly as "natural clumsiness", things that could have happened to literally ANY of the other pups, not because of his "clumsy condition". I mean, tripping while dancing, yeah, that's normal. Getting startled when a hologram shows up in your face? Any of them could have gotten startled outta their fur at that. Chase literally spawning by his side when you had just seen him all the way across the room not even half a second ago? I'D HAVE SCREAMED AND THROWN THAT FIREBALL OUT AND AWAY DUE TO SUCH JUMPSCARE TOO.

He didn't do MUCH in the movies at all, maybe just taking over the matters when Chase had his panic attacks in the first movie. Which also makes sense, we gotta admit that: Police AND FIREFIGHTERS are usually the ones who are more suited to do crowd control and deal with people. I'm not even going about how Marshall would take over, it's just that he's the more suited to go substitute Chase in ANY CASE. It's not just because they're close friends.

But aside from that? The main focus were Chase for the first movie, and Skye for the second. Marshall was along for the ride, as well as all other pups, but fans are ESPECIALLY UPSET literally because they felt Marshall was supposed to have the spotlight for the Mighty Movie and it turned out it just wasn't going to be about him XD He didn't do muuuuuch, he barely had not even a fraction of his signature clumsy moments.

And after how people complained after the first movie, they weren't going to do anything about Marshall just yet anyway. Now fans are even more pissed and I'm here holding my bucket of popcorn watching this circus catch on fire and waiting for our beloved firepup to come for the rescue.

At least we know we're gonna get a third movie by 2026. Now it's a game of wait and see what it'll be like.

At first they were a little bit uneven, but he’s gotten really good at it, and everyone in the band has a little something that he gifted them. Thank you for this ask ILY so muuuuuch, Eric Draven is my favorite person of all time, legitimately. I wish more people knew about him.

Eric Draven Headcanons:

He's cold. He's always mildly cold.

Not just cold to the touch, his skin icy, but shivering as well. He can never seem to get truly warm. It's a reminder of his state: the grave wants him back.

Eric walks silently. It's eerie: sometimes he seems to teleport across the room. He tends to startle people, when he doesn't make himself known.

His psychic contact is like, insanely strong. He can't touch anyone's skin without getting flashes of them, of their history. He usually sees their pain.

It's excruciating. He avoids it. Touching over fabric when he can.

Like it shows in the comics, cats have an uncanny affinity for him. All sorts will come up to him, winding around his boots, rubbing their heads on his leg.

It's pretty common for one or two alley strays to just... follow him as he walks. Like a funeral procession.

When he smiles, it breaks your fucking heart. There's just something in his eyes...

His vibe is very, how do I put this, ghostly? Off-putting? Most normal people feel mildly uncomfortable around him even if they don't know why.

He's kind. God, he's so kind. Too kind for his own good. He helps on impulse, and them he disappears into the shadows before people even really register he's there.

Eric loves kids. He loved them in life, and loves them in death. The man would have been a phenomenal father: he sort of was, to Sarah. He's excellent at talking to children.

Funnily enough, kids are always less afraid of him than adults.

He's always smoking. He's dead, now. What harm can it do? It helps him think. But if he sees you with one between your lips, he'll gently pluck it from your mouth and tell you to not make your precious time shorter than it already is.

In life, he was the singer and guitarist for the Hangman's Joke, but he was also a bouncer. Dude's got muscles. It brought in the money he and Shelly needed to make rent.

Speaking of Shelly. Eric is... was... the most romantic man on earth. His buddies would rib him over it, call him 'whipped', but that never stopped him from buying big bouquets of roses, or getting in good with a chef to secure a table at a fancy restaurant.

He has never experienced wealth. He was born in inner-city Detroit and raised by the streets and musical subculture. He is quite used to living check-to-check.

Despite the care he puts towards others, he's slapdash with himself. What's that, he ripped his shirt? Whatever. He's got some electrical tape: he slaps it on. Good enough.

He and the crow talk to each other mentally. The crow has a hoarse, grating, irritating voice: it cajols and demands, driving him forward. It calls him 'boy'. "Look boy!" This and "Hurry boy!" That.

His hands are icy and calloused and dry. They can be incredibly gentle. They can be incredibly violent.

Eric has two parts: the Crow, manic and dark, for killing. And Eric, soft-spoken and shivering, when he allows himself a moment of reprieve.

He is very, very tired. He sits up on the gargoyle overlooking a dark Detroit, rain slicking down his hair and wetting his dull leathers, and he thinks about much he wishes he could sleep.

He is lonely. God, Eric is so lonely. Sometimes it feels like a hole punched through his chest: he caves, he doubles over, the agony endless and screaming and hungry.

That hole never closes. He just has to keep walking.

I think Eric often falls victim to nostalgia. Standing outside in the rain, looking in the window to the diner he used to go to after gigs. Watching children run around outside the middle school Sarah attends. Trailing his hands across the dusty floor of his loft.

TLDR: If you meet him, your skin gets goosebumps. If his appearance doesn't scare you, his smile will haunt you forever. But still, he's so... soft. Kind. He'll tell you something poignant that will stick with you for the rest of your life, and then you blink and he's gone.

Like he never really existed in the first place.

K. So I’ve been binging SPN again, which is a bit of a surprise because I didn’t like how S6 started out. S7 is muuuuuch better and second half of S6 was great too. To summarise……

1. Sam without a soul was fucking horrendous. I’ve seen parts of the fandom liking Sam like that I dun geddit. At all.

2. Cause of the sadism running through my veins, I loved the whole “forcing Sam to get his soul back” part. And when he did get his soul back, godDAMN! The bitch forgot everything and Dean was literally like “DONT TELL MY BABY BRO ANYTHING AT ALL LET HIM STAY INNOCENT” and for that I wanna hug his for forever.

1. What’s your favourite sims death? Hmmm I would say, the rare meteorite death. It was my favourite death to trigger with cheats back in TS4 muahahahaha, and I just love the idea of being killed by a meteorite anyway, then comes the flies

2. Alpha CC or Maxis Match? I definitely prefer Maxis Match. I like my aesthetic to be at least somewhat coherent, and I'd rather not mess with too high poly objects unless absolutely necessary

3. Do you cheat when your sims gain weight? Depends on how lazy I am to send them on a run lmao

4. Do you use move objects? Absolutely. I couldn't play without it.

5. Favorite mod? MCCC (duh), WickedWhims, and @chingyu1023vick's 100 CAS traits. I don't like the lack of diversity in personality traits that TS4 has, TS3 was muuuuuch better in this regard. Btw, I've got also a mod to add more traits.

6. First expansion/game/stuff pack you got? I don't remember, honestly.

7. Do you pronounce “live mode” like aLIVE or LIVing? aLIVE. I think it's the most logical way to pronounce it.

8. Who’s your favorite sim that you’ve made? I love them all! Although I must say Saule is my favourite, closely followed by Beatrice.

9. Have you made a simself? I did, but I never play with her. I don't like doing so anyway, playing as yourself in the sims? Nah, not my thing. Just for avatar purposes.

10. What sim traits do you give yourself? If going by only three traits: creative, loyal, loner. If adding more: creative, loyal, loner, cat lover, perfectionist.

11. Which is your favorite EA hair color? Black (not the one with blue undertones, the other one)

12. Favorite EA hair? Hmmm, the one from Island Living that Paka'a Uha wears. The sort of half-waterfall braid thing. I love this one. Also the braid from Cottage Living.

13. Favorite life stage? Young adult, of course. I like playing as kids/teens also.

14. Are you a builder or are you in it for the gameplay? Both. Though more of a renovator than a builder, and more of a storyteller than a gamer.

15. Are you a CC creator? I'd kinda like to create some CC sometime, but I have no knowledge in 3D meshing or texturing. I think about drawing designs for graphic tees and uploading them though. Or recoloring things.

16. Do you have any simblr friends/a sim squad? Not really, but I have nice mutuals that I love very much. <3 Though it's difficult for me to consider someone a friend unless we know each other more closely, and given that I have some opinions that I think the majority of simblr would dislike (spoiler: nothing hateful, criminal or extreme, just some skepticism on my end, but many people get fired up super easily especially on tumblr and it's difficult to have a healthy discussion or agree to disagree), I'm not sure I can truly make friends here. I mean time will tell, but I'm reserved about the idea that it could happen. Maybe I'm too much on my guard, but I'll just see what happens.

17. What’s your favorite game? TS2 and TS4. I loved TS3 as well but it's so dreadfully badly optimized that I can't play it.

20. How has your “sim style” changed throughout your years of playing? I tend to make sims of a certain ethnicity depending on which period/culture I'm interested in. So I had a bunch of Japanese sims back in 2017/18, then Indian, then I stopped playing, now some Kazakhs, a few Russians and one Mongolian, and I'll see how this goes, but I feel like making more Americans especially given that I play Strangerville. Even if America in itself isn't much my cup of tea. I didn't use reshades until I created my simblr because I was afraid it was going to crash my laptop, but turns out nope, it doesn't. Especially since I can toggle it on and off, which I didn't know was possible. I did use skinblends back in the day, but I had kind of a different aesthetic than now. Now, I prefer simple things that are way more Maxis Match and fit perfectly into the game's aesthetic. I consider it's not made that way for nothing.

23. How long have you had a simblr? I'm new here, kinda. I started at the end of March. I think that's how I met the person who tagged me heh

24. How do you edit your pictures? Reshade, for some pics I use my drawing software Clip Studio Paint, which perfectly does the trick. Though it's a bit shitty for texting edits, because they don't support emojis like you'd see on a phone...

25. What expansion/game/stuff pack is your favorite so far? Strangerville. Duh. Cottage Living, Seasons, Cats and Dogs, and the Paranormal stuff.

26. What expansion/game/stuff pack do you want next? Hmm, why not High School Years? It's gonna come in handy when I'll tell Christie's teen years and I could use some Y2K stuff too.
