i've become somewhat obsessed with the oldest versions of some neopets' designs. i really vastly prefer the old jetsam and flotsam, as well as the old design for lenny. the updated lenny stripped it of its jester-like design elements which, imo, muddled and confused the point of its design. i liked its old jester hat and slightly curly toes, as well as its large, floppy-looking, goofy face.

also, i thought the oldest version of kacheeks was really funny. the drawing was kind of meant to be a visual joke, like, an over-rendered and uncannily shiny, but super simplified character like in ancient 3D art. but i feel like it doesn't really come through. oh well lol.

to tell you the truth, i don't really like the official art of ogrins. but i do think their design has potential (despite being somewhat wasted, lol). after all, they are a very odd and unique take on chimeras, being a cross between a goat, a tiger, and with other elements that don't have anything to do with real animals (their ears and tail make me think of fraggles).

regardless, they're really fun to draw.

this was a test drawing i did with the purpose of using glitter nail polish to see how it would look applied to a piece of art. surprisingly, not bad in photos, but obviously much more appealing irl. this would make great decorations to put on stuff like con badges. if only i ever went to cons, lmao.

I figure there are people who like them and seek them out, like them but don't seek them out, don't like doing them but will seek them out anyway because they want the finished item, don't like them but don't avoid them, don't like them and avoid them, etc. That's before getting into enjoying some techniques and maybe hating others or enjoying it in one craft, like Tunisian crochet, and disliking it in knitting or something.

I leave things mo~stly alone but I will sometimes cheat where I can! #I'll also reconstruct if something can't be saved or if I just forgot to draw something on paper lol - or if I ran out of room #Ughhhh these edits took foreverrrrrr #I did some quick math on it somewhat recently actually #An average single edit takes ~4 minutes of continuous work #Averaged between the low of a couple minutes and high of getting into double digits #There was a whole thing about each page having approx. 30 doodles and each doodle being 4mins of editing and each set being 6 doodles etc. e #Basically I put a lot of time into my art and the majority of that isn't even drawing lol #I have Got to find a way to flip that metric... #But with these - these Easily averaged into the double digits each #It's mostly cleaning - stray lines don't take much time at all! Even reconstruction isn't bad #But for whatever reason this paper just Textures Horribly #Leave my blank spaces blank! I don't want toning there! #You can even see! I didn't leave behind all that many guidelines! Just throw something comfortable and practical but still okay-looking by noble standards on them when not on duty and sew a shitton of these bad boys for them, it's not like they have an opinion or preference or even need to be fashionable. Basic stuff will do.

The side effect of this is the fact post-reveal they still wear the same goddamn thing 7 days a week

And also they're autistic/neurodivegent in general. Having a duplicate or two (or 20) of their favourite comfy outfit is handy, and finding new clothes that don't have Bad Texture or annoying tags is a chore and a half.

To be clear, literally every character in the game has one or more 3D models. Every single NPC, those faceless people that you walk by/through while walking through the city, every playable character (and every outfit they have; every single one of Wonder's outfit options), every shadow, every Persona, etc. The game's all 3D models (with 2D images over them making up the UI and portraits), and the files are where those 3D models and 2D images are stored, so quite literally, anything you see in the game is somewhere in the files, and something I could theoretically extract for you.

There's also a ton of stuff in the files that doesn't show up in the game (yet?), like 3D models and portraits for a bunch of the Confidants and Palace rulers in P5. Even stuff you only see for a few seconds, like the table and tea set that appears for Noir during her AOA finisher in the split second before it swaps to the 2D image people usually think of for her AOA, have their own 3D models.

So I appreciate that you're not asking me for all of them, haha!

I just focus on posting the interesting things and the new stuff; new portraits for main characters, 3D models for civilian outfits of the Phantom Idols that we haven't really gotten to see, characters indicated as future Phantom Thieves/Idols, stuff like that. And then if anyone asks me for specific stuff outside of that, I don't mind going back for it, because I noted down where everything is in the (massively disorganized) files, so it theoretically shouldn't take me too long to hunt down the pieces for any given character and put them together to post.

All that to say, I try to post the things that I know myself and others are probably most interested in seeing. You're not really missing much in the rest of the files, unless, for instance, there's a sidequest NPC or something you have a particular interest in and want to see the full portraits/model for.
