HI GUYS I had a little (maybe morbid) idea. I am trying to learn everything about mdhm (hyperfixation mode!!) and I have stumbled apon Alans dear mum and thought..hmm, my Mc-sona has short hair..alans mom has short hair.. and it's a very DD thing to do to change up her style a lot, so she would have stumbled across something like this at some point and did a cute little hairstyle that....may have reminded alan of his (dead) mom..and made him cry accidentally
also yeahhh DD got alan a new phone!! so alan can video chat her and see her pretty face :3 (though thats all he really uses that phone for)

And what WG episode with Tobecky is my favorite? Hmm...toughie. There's some episodes, obviously, that have Tobey in them, but I don't consider Tobecky moments immediately (example: Field Day Fun with Robo-Tobey).
If I were to ever choose my top ones and narrow it down, though, it would go (no order just naming):
-Department Store Tobey
-Trustworthy Tobey
-It's your party and I cry if I want to
-By Jove, you've wrecked my robot
-Have you seen the remote
-Guess Who's coming to Thanksgiving Dinner
-The Robot problem
And to narrow it down... Okay damn it's tough again. Because I love their banter in By Jove and the hint that he's been getting a crush on Becky, but they have more sillier softer moments in season 1 episodes like Department and Seen The Remote. But Robot Problem has them actually team up, and it's the first episode where I started to ship them. BUT--Its My Party has them actually get ice cream after years of build-up and Tobey coming to his senses moments. And of course, Thanksgiving Dinner with them actually smiling at each other for one, HOWEVER, Trustworthy Tobey with being his last focus episode where he's strictly not being the worst and maybe turning reasoble along with it being Becky and Tobey conflict and not him and Wordgirl (PLUS THE NOTE UGHH)--
(Explodes) Ya see why this is tricky.
But for the sake of answering this....I'll go with right now...AHHH, it's gonna go to Trustworthy Tobey. It's what I'm feeling right now. Mostly cause... I remember when I did my Wordgirl re-watch in late 2017 that got me into the fandom again and started this years long hyperfixation. I was dreading the last Tobey episode/last Tobecky moments we'll get. You see, I liked the season 7 and 8 Tobey episodes, but man, ever since season 1, it's been hard trying to justify this kid when he gets washed like every episode and so I was like "plss be good" or at least give me hope for his character cause I didn't want him to regress. And what do you know...hope! Sure, he's still an immature jerk that's still in character, but at least he wasn't extreme or not immediately dismissive. He actually kept up being truthful and Becky learned something, not to mention he doesn't get scott-free either and this time the most he does is just unleash a malfunctioning robot to a library and not like destroy buildings or attempt to kill people.
Plus, I find it extremely interesting the dialog and moments he has with Becky as Becky and not Wordgirl. Because call me silly but to me peak Tobecky is when he interacts with Becky as herself and not just Wordgirl--the ship name isn't Wordbey after all. Plus again the note YOU HAVE NO IDEA HOW MUCH THAT SCREWED WITH ME WHEN I SAW IT. Because another factor to why I hold up this episode so highly...even though Robot Problem/Have you seen the Remote is what got me to officially ship them...this episode is what inspired me to make a lot of my Wordgirl and Tobecky content. Cause it filled my imagination in what their relationship and Tobey's character could go next and there was no new Tobey episode to contradict it tehe. It drove me to read fanfiction. Start drawing on my dingy phone with FlipaClip. Start drabbles that I never posted. Interact with others. It...kinda drove me crazy? Like it legit didn't make me okay, but hey it's why I consider it personally my favorite.

Probably No Good Advice. I ended up writing Moments multi-chapter as I (and a friend) couldn't bear the idea they didn't end up together lolol.

All of them, tbh. I can't write an unhappy ending. Maybe the mushiest is Second Son, Moments, or It Had To Be You.
8. Do you get hate on fics?
Luckily not much yet. I did get one hate anon early on. It wasn't about a specific fic, though. It said they didn't know why I had a 'please don't steal my work' disclaimer (the standard one that most writers here use) cos I was delusional that my work was worth stealing. 🤷♀️
9. Do you write smut? If so, what kind?
Yes, it's my trademark. It's rare when I don't write smut. 😬 I'm not sure what is meant by kind of smut. I've written it all, from vanilla romantic sex to kink threesomes with harnesses and double penetration lol. I haven't had a request yet that I've turned down due to sexual content.
10. Do you write crossovers? What’s the craziest one you’ve written?
Not yet. The closest I've gotten is It Had To Be You, which is based on When Harry Met Sally.
11. Have you ever had a fic stolen?
Yes, sadly, it has happened quite a few times now. I was so fed up with filing copyright takedown notices that I set up a Wattpad account to try to counter it.
12. Have you ever had a fic translated?
No. I've been offered but have turned it down. I have no way to check that any translation would get across the nuance I aim for. So I know that may be anglo-centric, but its how I feel for now.
13. Have you ever co-written a fic before?
Not yet, but I am always threatening to lolol.
14. What’s your all-time favourite ship?
Hmm, tough one. I do love Kanthony tbh.
15. What’s a WIP you want to finish but doubt you ever will?
Benedict as a virgin. I just urghhh.... it's been a WIP for 17 months now. I just dunno why I won't finish it; I just get the feeling I won't.
16. What are your writing strengths?
I have no bloody idea. I'd prefer readers answer that tbh lol. My inclination is to say I don't have one, except perhaps a willingness to describe sex in ridiculous levels of detail? Is that a strength?
17. What are your writing weaknesses?
World building. I will do anything to shortcut it. I'll find an economical way to describe a situation e.g. she's a widow; they're old friends. Got it? Good! Let's get down to business.
18. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language in fic?
I've done a smidgeon of French as I studied it for ten years. But I doubt I'd do another language tbh.
19. First fandom you wrote for?
Only Bridgerton so far.
20. Favourite fic you’ve written?
Bloody hell, I have no fucking idea. It literally changes depending on my mood. But I don't really care for my own writing that much, all I see is flaws lol. I guess the universe I would most like to write more for one day is Mrs Bridgerton and its sequel. Does that count?

EA talk!! I just got back from watching it and I need to speak about it. Thoughts/Theories under the cut <33 (also, this one is a long one guys)

OKAY OKAY OKAY now time for me to go into hyperfixation mode.
First and foremost, I'm putting my stance out there: This guy is a sovereign. specifically, the one from Brachium's little journey into the river. The one who said "Death is already here" THAT GUY IS HUSH. I have no proof other than a hunch (that Max helped with), but I'm telling you guys. now as for which one, I have a feeling that (out of the named Soverigns) it's A'Xerahn (Desire, the one who created vamps, for the line "there's a lot of things I'd like to show you, given the chance." (still screaming)) or N'Dellex (Dreams, created Dreamwalkers, Hush, get it?). If it isn't a named sovereign then I still believe he's a sovereign from below the river. listen ARGUE WITH THE WALL I AM RIGHT ABOUT THIS.
Moving on. I want to point out the language that Reticuli used when talking about Hush. Abomination, Freak, "I'm authorized to end you." Whoever Hush is, he has the council worried. He's not like them. They're probably scared. This also hints that Hush has done things in the past to get attention put on himself. He's talking about how dangerous he is, and what he's capable of. it's clear that the chorus knows what Hush is. But unfortunately, that lil conversation doesn't give us much. However, Hush seems to be pretty willing to give information, for the most part.
This brings me to my next point, the things that Hush has said. Hush, for whatever reason, seems very comfortable telling Doc that he wanted Reticuli dead. Not only this, but he tells Doc that there is not an insignificant line of people who want him gone. This man is being hunted, and he knows it. He then goes and warns Doc that maybe Reticuli was right and asked if they considered that. He says that they can't know what he's capable of, or what he's going to do.
Before we continue, I do kinda want to talk about the hints that we get for just what Hush is. He says he isn't human or demon. With that, for a being of power, that is, there's really only two options left, and that is Sovereign or Shade. However, he can't be a SHade, cause even when becoming tangible Shades just simply look a certain way that empowered's are aware of. "Oh but pluto, Sovereign is so out there-" not really, not if you think about it. We are getting an Avior narrative push around the same time that we got a new character. What was Avior's whole plot? El'aetum and Min'ara wanted Starlight to be the middle ground cause something was going down with the Meridian. In Inversion, Brachium met someone who tore a hole in the meridian and let the shades loose (or so I'm thinking). Who got out right as the Inversion was happening? Avior and Starlight. The fact that he doesn't give us his real name, and the endless fucking river references when he's being all mysterious- like it's obvious. Not to mention his "I am More. And Less." line. He is more than a regular empowered because he is a Sovereign, but he's also less cause in his "true form" I'll say, he is not exactly tangible or anything, he is power as a concept.
Okay, continuing on. Hush is a Sovereign. He's powerful. He can do things that others cannot. He got sent to Elegy to do something important, something that others don't want him to do. He's ruthless. And he's cutthroat. And he will do what he has to do to survive... but he's curious about Doc. He didn't know whether to let them go or not in the beginning, only to decide so at the end. He has a soft spot for them. He doesn't want to hurt them, but he will do things that might cause them to hurt. One of the last things he says to Doc was "I'm not gonna wipe your memories. I think I want you to remember me. One day you might look back and think that, saving me was the worst mistake of your life. But there's only one way to find out, right?" and guys. GUYS. I think we have a proper antagonist on our hands. I think we have a real villain. One that's gonna affect more than Docs/possibly Avior's storyline.
I think that's all imma write for tonight, but this new boy has effectively gotten me back into the redacted fandom in full swing. I literally don't know what to do with myself.

hmm that's hard. I'm a pretty open person. I tell my friends everything if they bother to ask but I think from the outside people would be surprised by how much I care about other people's opinions and how much it holds me back (sadly) I think it even surprises my friends and family despite them knowing me so well. I'm a risk taker but before I take any risks I worry for like a decade before making a decision. It's one of my biggest faults.

the merlin set omg but especially the darkling woods!!! Pretty sure it's puzzlewood in Gloucester. But also New Zealand. Glad you like my Trollhunters' ideas as I been noticing the likes. I tend to make some nutty stuff when I'm hyperfixating on a fandom.
Anywho, got a much more angsty idea for Jim involving Rise of the Titans. Basically things gone a lot worse without bad or OOC decisions from the heroes which leaves him the last one alive. A better reason for the whole time travel bit. However his plan to save everyone hits a major snag as the Krohnisfere decides he needs to suffer a bit more.
First off, it's a timeline where he already died before canon. Two, Jim isn't human either and instead something else. Whether he's a Troll who can survive in sunlight or an unknown species is up in the air but it still makes him a target for the villains. Three, he has no idea whose the Trollhunter cause it's not Toby plus there is no sign of Kanijar's remains in the canal either.
Jim basically has minimal useful knowledge to work with alongside a new form to master if he wants to save everyone.
I like the more out there ideas, and yours have been pretty cool!
I agree. If they wanted the time reset to REALLY make sense, they should have stuck to killing everyone rather than half the team so Jim had no other choice but to reverse all that.
I didn't really think much about the prospect of Jim landing in a different timeline completely after re-setting time. The idea of Jim being dead already is pretty dark... Poor Barbara...
Hmm maybe Jim's a changeling? Either that or he's a harpy or something equally rare but similar to a troll.

Kinktober Day 2: Bath/Shower
Hello! My hyperfixation on Astarion has got me in the writing mood so I will be participating in Kinktober using @flightlessangelwings Kinktober list. The pieces may be part of a bigger fic(s) that I'll be getting too when I have more time or they may be standalones. Either way, I hope you enjoy. Summary: Ailis and Astarion enjoy some down time after a long day.
Ailis sighed in relief as the door to her room at the Last Light Inn closed shut behind her, blocking out all noise from the outside. After hours of discussion, her traveling companions and their new acquaintances, the Harpers, had finally agreed on a strategy to reach Moonrise Towers. Her nerves were shot and she was looking forward to some alone time. She had requested a maid draw a bath for her, and she was relieved to find it ready for her now. She walked over to the tub and undressed, hanging her clothes over the partition that blocked the view of the tub from the rest of the room. She unpinned her hair and let the thick, black-brown tresses fall to rest a few inches above her hips.
She dipped a toe in the water and sighed. She couldn’t remember the last time she’d had a hot bath. For weeks now, she’d made do with the cold water of any lake, river, or stream she found on her journey. Content with the water temperature, she stepped into the tub and slid down until she was submerged to the shoulders. She rested her head back against the rim of the tub and closed her eyes as she relaxed. She must have fallen asleep at some point, because when she woke up, she felt her face submerged in water.
Before she could panic, she felt strong hands grip her beneath her arms and pull her back up above the water. She coughed and sputtered on reflex, though she hadn’t been under long enough to breathe in much water. When her heartrate began to even out, she noticed that one of the same hands that had pulled her up was now rubbing her back. She glanced over the side of the tub and relaxed completely as she saw it was Astarion.
“I believe that’s why you aren’t supposed to sleep in the bath, darling,” he said in a gentle tone of admonishment.
“The water is so warm. I guess it made me sleepy,” she said. “When did you come in?”
“Just as you were slipping under,” he replied, brushing a wet strand of hair out of her face.
“Hmm, my hero,” she hummed and then laughed at the scowl that immediately crossed his face. “Thank you for saving me.” She tilted her head towards him for a kiss. He smiled and kissed her gently. When he broke away, she gave him a sultry smile. “The water is still warm if you’d like to join me.”
“Well, I guess I’d better join you. We don’t want you to slip under the water again,” Astarion teased, standing up as he slipped off his shirt. Ailis watched him as he slowly peeled off his clothes. He was clearly teasing her, keeping his body turned to angles meant to arouse her, but hid the whole package. She watched with a lustful gaze as he finally turned around to give her the full view. The performance hadn’t just left her aroused. His cock was half hard already.
She leaned forward in the tub so he could slide in behind her. She expected him to immediately begin to entice her into sex, but instead he pulled her back against his chest, his hands then slid to her waist so that he held her in a loose hug. After a minute she relaxed against him and enjoyed the contrast between the warm water and his cool skin. They stayed like that for a moment and then she felt his hands leave her waist and fiddle around with something before settling back on her, this time lathering soap through her hair.
“You’re obsessed,” she said with a smile. He loved to play with her hair.
“I do so love your hair,” he murmured, gently massaging soap through the dark lochs. She laughed and grabbed the soap bar to wash her body. They passed the soap back and forth as needed. When he finished washing her hair and back, he gently tipped her head back so she faced the ceiling and then used a tin cup to rinse the soap from her hair. He was careful to keep the water out of her face. When he finished, he put the cup down and pulled her back against him.
She turned her head to look up at him and pressed a kiss to his jaw. “Do you want me to wash your hair and back?” He tensed and his expression became strained. She knew he was thinking about his scars. He didn’t always like her attention on them or to have them touched.
He shook his head after a minute and stamped a kiss to her forehead. “I’ll wash later.” She smiled and then closed her eyes as she rested against him. She enjoyed the sensation of him gently running his hands along her body. However, when his hand slipped between her thighs, his fingers sliding along the slit of her core, she found she didn’t want to continue further towards sex, regardless of original intent. She inched back, away from the contact, and Astarion’s hands immediately lifted off her.
“Is something wrong, love?” he asked, a note of concern in his tone.
“No,” Ailis replied quickly. “I just…can we skip sex tonight? I just want to naked cuddle in bed.”
“Of course, darling,” he replied without the teasing or sarcastic response she had expected. He helped her stand up and step out of the tub. They both helped the other dry off with a towel. It wasn’t sexual at all, but it was no less intimate. They maneuvered over to their bed and slid under the covers. Astarion pulled her against his chest and began to stroke her back, tracing her spine. She kept her hands pressed against his chest so he didn’t need to worry about her accidentally brushing his scars. They shared lazy, long, and languorous kisses, but never moved forward to anything more sensual.
After a while, Ailis felt sleep calling for her and she yawned. Astarion pulled her in tighter against him. “Sleep, Ailis.”
“Will you still be here in the morning,” she asked, thinking of Astarion’s tendency to slip away at some point during the night.
“If you want me to be,” he replied.
“Yes,” she said through a yawn. “I want you to stay.”
“Then I’ll stay, darling,” Astarion said and kissed her forehead. “Sleep now, Ailis.” She let her eyes close and pressed her face against his chest. She let herself be soothed to sleep by his hands stroking her back and his promise to stay.

Hello darlings!
I'm still alive/here. I know I owe all the things and I appreciate you all following my "queue that" rule because I haven't been on my computer to write let alone draft. In case you're wondering what I've been up to I'll give you a bulleted list of the teacher life near D.C. under the read more.

Here's some chaos:
My student pulled the fire alarm and rather than addressing that for the felony it is, kiddo is on a 1 month suspension (you get 45 days for fighting) Worth noting this student was previously expelled 2 years ago for a gun situation.
We've had 2 mob fights at my school and another at the next closest high school (they also had a stabbing and the response was "well at least it wasn't our school on the news this time")
I've had more meetings than there were days of the week and worked past 5 nearly every day (we love unpaid work... i'm talking like full time job hours of unpaid labor)
My school has gone through more than 12 principals in my 6 years here and the new one has given me 9 blocks of classes to have my students research, make posters, assemble 550 meal kits, complete a reflection, and present a summary (to whom? idk bro) All while never answering my emails... in case you're wondering it costs 20k to get the groceries for this task alone. As of right now I have 3 students that can build the 550 meal kits. We have 2 80 minute blocks to build them all or our low income families have nothing to eat over spring break 👍
Our bell schedule is changing so that we'll have 3 lunches with students required to be in the cafeteria, instead of 2 where they're in our classrooms. This will end all in school clubs (RIP Four Square Club 😢 ) and we need 350 more chairs in the cafeteria 😂 fyi I had to have 3 students standing per block for 4 weeks because we couldn't get desks and chairs for my classes of 33. When I got desks they gave me elementary cubby desks. (I teach HS. The average 'kid' is like 5'5 hahaha)
The students booed the new principal so loudly at the pep rally that I could hear it with earplugs in and she didn't send their bitch asses back to class. She said, "Hmm, I think I hear some boos? Wouldn't be the first time, won't be the last."

That same student: His current hyperfixation is roasting my lack of an immune system. He calls me his weakest superhero 😂
In a room full of extremely politically divergent teenagers, they almost unanimously agreed that a person facing criminal charges shouldn't be allowed to run for office and then had civil discourse about it.
The hype of my Afghani students getting to teach their class the Arabic alphabet when we started our new module. (Also their hype over the teachers showing up to their club's fundraiser)
A parent made shirts for the seniors on our 🏀 team (just 4 boys). They got to pick their favorite and most impactful teacher and she wanted each one to have a different teacher wearing theirs but 2 of them insisted it be me and wouldn't budge 😭 (also one of them interviewed to play ball overseas so 🤞 for him)
A parent made the staff valentines day cupcakes
A student in culinary arts gave me a banging cinnamon roll the size of my head
A quiet student from last year came by to tell me he bowled nearly 300 and made brownies- they were not pot brownies, I took the risk and it was worth it 😂
2 of my kids with over 100 absences showed up this week! They won't pass but 👍 nice to know they're like alive

"Where are you taking me?!" Ciara screeched as she squirmed around in Scorpio's grasp. Scorpio ignored her, entering what seemed to be a circular room with stone walls, pillars, and archways, and a high domed ceiling. In the center of the room was yet another circle, this one with the Zodiacs' glyphs carved into the stone.
Scorpio dropped Ciara inside the center of the circle, the girl letting out a loud "OOF", followed by an equally loud, "Are you going to sacrifice me?!"
"Be quiet." Scorpio snapped. He raised his hand above his head, his palm glowing with blue light. He swept it in a circular motion, moving his hand clockwise. The glyphs of the Zodiacs lit up in succession as his magic passed them.
He rested his hand at his side, waiting for...something.
"IS SOMETHING SUPPOSED TO HAPPEN?!" Ciara yelled, still in the center of the circle. "OR ARE YOU JUST GONNA STAND THERE?!"
Immediately after she stopped screaming, the glyphs for Aries, Taurus, and Capricorn lit up. There was a wall of light surrounding their stones, and then the Zodiacs themselves appeared.
"WHAT DID YOU CALL US HERE FOR?!" The Aries Zodiac bellowed as soon as he manifested into existence. He was very small, shorter than Ciara, and he seemed to be an actual sentient ram. He had gray fur, golden armor, and his curved horns were almost the same height as him.
Ciara burst out into laughter, before hastily attempting to turn it into a cough. It was rude, of course, to make fun of someone's height. But he was so small and almost adorable, compared to her own Aries Zodiac.
"What? What're you looking at?" Aries sneered. "You think I'm small? Hmm? Who are you, anyway? You're not Cassie."
"Patience, my dear brother," The Capricorn Zodiac said. He was more humanoid than Aries, albeit still having a goat head and a fish tail. He had shorter horns, curly hair, and a goatee. "I'm sure that was the exact reason our dear friend Scorpio called us here today."
"Oh ho! What do we have here?" The Taurus Zodiac bent down towards Ciara. She looked the most human of the bunch, only having bull legs, horns, and tail. Her dark curly hair jostled around her shoulders as she smiled at Ciara. "Hello there!"
"Um...hi?" Ciara said. "Wow, you all sure look different than my Zodiacs."
"Your Zodiacs?" Aries spoke up again. "What does that mean?"
Before Ciara could answer, the Cancer and Sagittarius glyphs lit up. A moment later, their respective Zodiacs materialized before them.
"Well, well, well." The Sagittarius Zodiac rumbled, stroking his long beard. "What have we here?" He was highly intimidating, and as he shuffled around, Ciara realized he was a centaur, having the body and feet of a bear. He was huge, muscles rippling up and down his arms.
Evidently, the Cancer Zodiac picked up on Ciara's unease. "Don't worry. He won't harm you." She was as tall as Sagittarius, and was just as muscular. She had eight legs, which Ciara assumed was due to her being part crab, and she was covered in teal armor all over.
"Has Cassie found a new friend?" Sagittarius asked, chuckling. "She's got a strong look about her."
"And a nice sword, too." Cancer added, her many legs clacking on the floor. "Perhaps she'd be willing to spar with us?"
"I, uh—" Ciara reached behind her, grabbing at her sword. "Maybe?"
The Leo and Gemini glyphs were the next to light up. Ciara stared at the spot where Gemini would emerge, longing for her older sister figure in these times of uncertainty.
As it turned out, the Gemini Zodiac was nothing like her Gemini. In fact, they were not even just one person; they were a set of twins. One of them had curly, dark blue hair, and was wearing a yellow dress and yellow sunhat. Contrasting that, the other twin had straight blonde hair and was wearing a blue dress and blue witch hat.
Hm. Ciara thought as she tilted her head, observing the twins. Gemini also wears blue and yellow. I guess some things don't change, even across universes.
"Hiya!" The blue-haired one said, waving at Ciara. "I'm Solana, and this is Luna!" Her twin smiled, beaming towards Ciara. "What's your name?"
"I'm, uh, Ciara." Ciara said, very eloquently. These girls appeared to be younger than her by about six years, which was something she wasn't used to. She was used to being the baby of the group.
"I'm Leo!" The Leo Zodiac said excitedly. She was a small, anthropomorphic lion, complete with fluffy paws and tail. She had on a green, knee-length dress rimmed with fur. She also looked like she was a young child, around the Gemini twins' age. "It's nice to meet you!"
An involuntary shiver ran down Ciara's spine as she remembered the last time a Leo Zodiac said those words to her.
"Lovely to meet you, my dear." Coy smiles, lies, and betrayal soon followed.
The four remaining Zodiac glyphs lit up, shaking Ciara out of her thoughts. The signs of Aquarius, Pisces, Virgo, and Libra soon followed.
"Whew! What's all this rush?" The Aquarius Zodiac asked, twirling her golden sword. She had puffy blue hair reminiscent of a cloud, and her dark blue armor was emblazoned with yellow lightning bolts. "What's happened?
The Pisces Zodiac tapped her on the shoulder. "I think a lost child has been found, dear." She said softly. Unlike the Pisces back in Ciara's world, this Pisces did not exhibit any fish traits. Rather, her dark pink cape split into thin strips, imitating the frills of a fish.
"How curious," The Virgo Zodiac mused. She looked remarkably similar to Ciara's Virgo, sharing the same dark skin and floor-length dress. The only differences was her lack of long green hair and the white and gold coloration of her dress. "Another human? How is this possible?"
"It shouldn't be!" The Libra Zodiac cried anxiously. She had short, straight brown hair, thin spectacles, and reddish-orange robes. "No human should be able to enter the Astral Plane without the Starglass!"
"Have some patience," Virgo said, looking down at Ciara. "Let's hear what she has to say, first."
Twelve pairs of eyes stared at Ciara.

Why I haven't posted anything of my own in over a month.
Me: Hey I really like Pokémon Scarlet/Violet, I want to write cool fan fictions of characters in this universe.
My Brain: Ok, counterpoint, here's a hyperfixation on mythology and demonology that'll last you a month.
Me: Ok fine brain, I do really like the designs from the Dictionnaire Infernal, so maybe I can draw some demons? Andras is pretty underrated.
My Brain: Hmm, that'd be fun, but do you remember when you used to draw fanmade vivosaurs for Fossil Fighters, wouldn't it be really cool to get back to that?
Me: Brain you're right, but I've already got two ongoing projects. I can't keep leaving things before they're finished or I'll get nothing done.
My Brain: Oh WOW, they're making a new ENDLESS OCEAN? That's a THING, from your CHILDHOOD!
Me: Ahhhhhhh stop swapping interests!!!!!
My Brain: REMEMBER SKYLANDERS!?!?!

the flop of that rwby amv is so sad. ik rwbys my most embarrassing old flame but thats just sad. related note that it was kind of fascinating to go back thru rwby to remake then expand on that amv (original was only half the song) because USUALLY i think abt rwby when a new volumes airing. emil showed me the trailers in like 6th grade. i got into at some point that i was watching v3 when it was new idr how on top of it i was those first three volumes. got into v4 after it was finished. had a love/hate relationship with it for a while where i was convinced they were gonna do a bunch of shitty things they didnt do while not seeing actually present issues. was obsessed thru the airing of v5 to v8. fell out of love because of how absolute shit roosterteeth is and the way its reflected upon the show. watched v9 anyways mostly to Know. so it was interesting to go back thru when not feeling madly in love and hyperfixated, after a long period of not really thinking abt it. i feel like i got the most objective (u know, compared to hyperfixation or anger towards it with like no inbetween) view of rwby ive had since i was like 12 and the trailers were all we had. more marvel joss whedon-esque humour than i remembered noticing before. the face models in particular r exactly as ugly as i remembered except without the rose tinted lens of feeling the need to defend my love for the series on twitter like i used to have. lots of moments that still hit though ill say that much. i still feel things for team rwby and other characters like hmm mercury, despite my better judgement. emerald 🩷
