See, I adore the Addams Family, and being a child of the 90s Wednesday is my favorite. Unfortunately i fucking REFUSE to support any project of Tim Burton because he’s a racist antisemetic TWATWAFFLE who gets all the creative credit for things he barely had a hand in (or in the case of coraline had no hand in at all).

The Antisemitism is particularly infuriating given the fact that he’ll take a story like Corpse Bride and utterly strip the jewishness out of it. Not to mention his adaptation of Miss Peregrine’s -- in the novel Jake and his family are EXPLICITLY jewish!! The entire story loses a big chunk of it’s soul by virtue of it’s removal! I was infuriated to see what he did to it.

Miss Peregrine’s is also around the time I heard/found out about his incredibly anti-blackness. He say POC ���don’t fit his aesthetic’. And then uses anti-black tropes/words for his villains. (Look at Oogie Boogie for example).

In short, this is why I’m not watching Wednesday. Fuck Tim Burton.

the funniest meltdown ive ever had was in college when i got so overstimulated that i could Not speak, including over text. one of my friends was trying to talk me through it but i was solely using emojis because they were easier than trying to come up with words so he started using primarily emojis as well just to make things feel balanced. this was not the Most effective strategy... until. he tried to ask me "you okay?" but the way he chose to do that was by sending "👉🏼👌🏼❓" and i was so shocked by suddenly being asked if i was dtf that i was like WHAT????
