I won’t read to much into the follows and the likes and comments. I think it’s just simple social media tactics. It’s them trying to show that he could branch or simply be the fact that he likes her music. It could be a possible collaboration but dating would be a stretch. I think it’s wrong to put him with every woman he interacts with him on a romantic level. It’s disrespectful to her possible relationship. Like honestly just focus on the music. Her twin sister was her creative director for her last album maybe he’s looking for a collaboration in that part of his image as well. For all we know they probably don’t know each other personally. But I guess that’s why it’s none of our business. His team is trying to make sure he has a market in other genres to show that he’s not just another who raps. But I would like to see hid music evolve and become something of substance instead of catchy lackluster tunes. Like Jackman was good because he was vulnerable and it was a nice change from his other stuff. But I think it didn’t get a lot of traction, he decided to go back to his normal stuff. But one thing about rap music is that people want longevity they want music that’s gonna make them think and sit back to listen to the lyrics. He hasn’t reached his full potential because he refuses to evolve and grow as a person and an artist. Before he became famous he had confidence in his art. But now he’s so insecure and you hear it in his music. His sense of confidence is a false one. He truly needs to take a step back and evaluate where he truly wants his music and career to go.🌊

the first part of this is about laufey, for those wondering. i didn't think too much of it either, i would need more proof than that myself, but i will entertain everyone here. i don't believe anyone means harm with their speculations. see this is what happens when he starves us of info. lol. either they are just friends, or it would make sense for a collab, but i guess we will wait and see. i didn't know that her sister was her creative director on the last album, that explains why she is always posting about laufey and what she's doing. thank you for that information.

that seems to be the general opinion of those i have interacted with. jack has very little to write about, since he doesn't really experience a lot of things being stuck in the confines of kentucky. we also agreed that jackman was a good album and it showed off his story telling, although it was way too short. he did say this album was for the fans, but i think it was to soften the blow for it not doing so well. it was a random drop, no promo and people were not prepared and there was no hype around it. that is not the way it should have been received by the world from a marketing perspective. he is not at that level where he can do something like a "drop and go".

you can tell that he is not as confident as he used to be and i think this goes beyond industry pressure. i think of the lyric, "but deep down, i find myself wonderin', if the people that write about me are right about me" from denver. i think he's letting the criticism (and some of it valid, for sure) get to him, and i wish it motivated him instead, because he has the potential, we've seen it. it's just that for some reason, at this time, which should be the time where he is like everywhere, he is … not. he also said he doesn't want to do press, which is not helping him in the slightest and to be honest if it's going to be the same regurgitated shit over again, i would rather he keep it. he needs to let go of this whole "privacy" thing, an interview is not a violation of it. you can talk about stuff, instead of telling us the same thing over and over again. i literally don't bother checking them out anymore.

asking jack to reflect on stuff is probably the biggest struggle. i think his motto is "ignorance is bliss"and if he sat down and had to reflect on something, he would have a heart attack. addressing things and seeing them for what they are is not his thing.

i couldnt agree more with you! i really dont understand why everyone is so hyped over seven. i have to admit it kind of disappointed me with its shallow lyrics. and i dont understand the purpose of the explicit version? i really hate it. and i think its okay not to like every single song they put out, being an army definitely doesnt mean you have to agree with everything they say, do… but i really hope that the rest of the songs in his album wont be so shallow and i really want them to be more unique like the rest of their songs… i feel like with songs like seven you can listen to them a couple of times and then get bored (but maybe thats just my opinion idk). tbh i think jk is just trying to show us something different than what he showed us previously and i dont blame him for that. but im definitely more looking forward to the songs that he will actually write because im sure that he is capable of writing deeper and more meaningful lyrics. and even if the whole album is in english it doesnt necessarilly mean its going to be completely westernized, right? he did say he wants to try new genres… i think he just wants to challenge himself to try something new and i think a fully-english album is a part of that.

either way, i really wish him all the best because i genuinely believe he’s a bit lost and lonely without other members. to me, it seems that the hiatus definitely had the biggest impact on him? but at the end on the day, 2025 is not THAT far away and im excited for when we can see them as a group again💜 jk even said (recently) that after hiatus they will come back even stronger and i think these words are definitely worth lookig forward to💜

if Watt wanted a no brainer song then he succeeded 😂 and yeah i don't like the explicit ver lol someone i follow here said it sounds like they only did it for shock value, which i kinda agree with. the explicit ver cheapened a song that barely had any meaning to begin with (y'all do not come after me for this. you know it's true) but i guess people really wanted to hear him say fuck 😂

true. jk is definitely trying to show a different side of him and good for him, honestly. but i don't think it necessarily reflects in the quality of the songs yk? i think this is more about presenting a new image rather than exploring the sound.

when you say just bc it's in english doesn't mean it's completely westernized, that is also true. but then considering the people he's working with, i'm not holding out much hope for that 😔

the hiatus... yeah :( they raised him, he literally spent half of his life with them and this is the first time he has to be apart from them in like 13 years. also i feel like there's this kinda pressure for them to all release a solo album before enl*sting, so idk if this also plays a part in him not taking the time to focus on His sound himself but yeah just putting this out there

Hello, this is going to be a long one, bear with me please 😅

I wanted to say how your blog and comments on things really changed my opinions on many topics, even tho some of these people I admire, or tbh used to admire. Now I don’t enjoy the hype or the personality because it is fake.

I saw the recent pictures of HC and how people really lost their minds over them. For once, they looked like a normal couple, she even looked tired and was relieved her dog is okay.

People were criticizing her because she was smiling in a picture, why would she not be smiling after getting her dog and everyone else is smiling as well?!! People are truly exaggerating.

Although she has been sneaky on social media, there is no denying.

I used to think Henry was innocent and he has no saying in this, sort of against his wish. But why would this be the case every time he is with someone?

After 2 years, why would people still be in denial that he wants her around and he is the one hanging on to this relationship like a koala.

There is no way he hasn’t seen her old pictures and videos, he saw them and chose to move on, it didn’t change the way he felt about her. I also think at that time, he was really excited to be in a relationship, he’s been single for a while.

Keep in mind, I don’t think she is any different than the mean 16 years old girl, or her model mayhem account. He wanted to polish her image before going public, if not, her model mayhem account wouldn’t have been deleted, nor her entire instagram and twitter history. I think he tried to suppress the inner party girl in her, but he won’t be able to do that forever.

She will miss it as well, even if they take this in a more serious way, it contradicts everything Henry has ever said before. Which proves my point, his public image is nothing but a lie, he just gets away with things because he’s good looking.

Hell, even her entire wardrobe and clothing option has changed for him.

This is not a healthy relationship, the change in the lifestyle was not initiated by her.

I say this because anything can happen next, he is not obligated to live according to people’s rules.

I can’t say I would be happy or excited if they become more serious, that would be a bug fat lie, but keeping this narrative of ‘poor Henry’ is stupid.

I don’t like her either, and you can clearly tell at her core she is not genuine nor a good person, but neither is Henry.

That’s what makes them a match. They deserve each other.

I find it funny that Henry told his entire fanbase to F*ck off and be the “best version of themselves” and he’s been acting like this for the past 2 years. Looks like his own memo wasn’t applied within him. What an enlightened king 😂

What you said about opinions means so so much to me. I don't want to change people's opinions, I don't think my way is the only way even if I have strong views on some things. However, I believe in 2 sided conversations because life is not simple. Not at all. And I feel we are living in very dangerous times where opinions are silenced, labelled radical etc just because they are "old fashioned" or not " progressive" enough. I would love to discuss more serious topics here, and give a platform to conversations while I remain true to myself and what I believe in.

Those pictures you mentioned were so surprising to me too because they truly looked like a real, happy, ordinary, normal couple instead of the SM push. It was refreshing.

That is a really important step to be a healthy fan to realize he is not innocent (blackmailed, possessed etc). He is a grown-up who has his reasons to be with her. Clarity is the most important thing in my opinion. To see people who they are. You have to imagine them as silent movies. What they say is non-existent, it's not important. What they do, how they behave... that is what you should focus on. Celebrity or not. That should be the standard.

He definitely has a free pass because he is good-looking. This is the privilege of beauty. This exists. In Hollywood, this is the basis of everything, but you can find it in the smallest village too. Beautiful people have an amazing advantage in life.

I think NV could be different or could be the same, I don't want to judge her anymore. I want to give her the benefit of the doubt. Not because of her or him but because of myself. I just don't want to think about someone poorly without any hard evidence. She seemed a pretty awful teen and if I knew her back then I wouldn't be her friend today, that's for sure. But I have to think some people are capable of evolving. Because I am trying to do this every day. If I can, others can too.

His FO post was definitely a PR mistake, a huge one, but for some people was a wake-up call at least. That is who he is. He is a control freak (that's why probably her wardrobe has changed for him). He is not that soft boy who was fat for a hot minute and this is the sob story of his life. And not the one who just needs love and cuddling from his soulmate as the hardcore fans imagine. I am not saying he is a bad man, but he is definitely a pain in the ass and hard to live with. Women need to forget this saviour complex when they are determined to save the shittiest man just with their love. This narrative is fed by awful books like Twilight, Coleen Hoover and the rest I have the fortune not to know. Maybe one day I will rant about this, but I stop for now.

the zen art of teaching boomers to sing

The bar I work at does karaoke on Saturdays.

Before I really get to my point, let me set up our main characters. Believe me, the story is worth it, I'm making this post in a rare state of optimism for humanity.

There are about 10 regulars that always come in for karaoke night. It's been about 6 months. At the beginning, it was only me and Deb the bartender who would sing.

Today, every one of those regulars has at least one song they will do at karaoke. But they also just fuckin jam out, absolutely get hyped by anyone singing.

Not to jerk myself off, but I truly am a part of how 10 sing-shy boomers went from "never, no way, not singing" to "WHOSE BED HAVE YER BOOTS BEEN UNDER?". There's 2 mics. If someone is ready to give it a go, I say "I'll sing with you if you want."

I never really realized until karaoke started that I have a lot of songs memorized without trying. To go back to Shania's Boots, it's Mary's song. I knew it more or less the first time we sang it. I knew there was a key change coming despite only every hearing it rarely on the radio. I don't particularly like her (or hate her) but I heard the song enough over my 29y that I could predict the key change and also warn her of it.

We get a few bars of rest and I say into her ear because it's loud and I'm quiet: "The next line is a key change. You'll have to sing a little higher".

And she nails is. Which reminds me, none of our singers are bad. Not even close.

Roy, 60s, "Can't You See" - his voice is raspy and loud and it works great.

Janice, 55, Shania, but also "Dog Days Are Over" - she's fast with the words and has a lilted voice that really mimics Florence well.

Mary, late 60s - Shania, but also "American Pie" start to finish no lyrics. I can too, but I made an actual effort on it.

Art, 50 - Nirvana. I love me some Smells Like Teen Spirit. We can both do the raspy, grungy voice needed for the chorus.

Don, 60s - Sorry, 63 - his favorite is "When I'm 64" by The Beatles. And Love Me Do by The Beatles. And I'll cut the joke here cuz quite literally, he will only sing their songs. But he gives so much passion into it that it makes up for not always being on-key. His performances are just as enjoyable as anyone else's.

Dar is Don's wife and is the only one who won't sing becaus she had throat cancer and we don't press her because I personally don't think she could get thru a quick "Hit the Road Jack". But she's a goldmine for requests. Tonight she said, "Hey Sam! What's the song from Wizard of Oz?"

"Somewhere Over The Rainbow."

"Can you do that?"

Sure can. I nail it. She bursts into tears halfway through. She sang it when she did the high school musical in 1970 and that's how Don fell for her. I had no idea.

I learn so much about all my friends through the very basic, natural human phenomenon of sharing song.

I've made 90% of my point, but here's the last little feel-good-hit for ya.

Tonight we had a rando table of 6, 3 adults 3 kids. After they ate and got used to the fact that a bunch of old people are trying to sing the one kid said can I have a turn?

I happened to be out front sweeping and she was very iffy about it. The regulars were like "you can do it!" as they always do when new people want to sing. But I can imagine it being a bit overbearing in her shoes.

Deb is really good at getting a song out of someone. "Who's your favorite singer? Favorite song? We can put lyrics on the iPad for you." (Tangent but how adorable is it for a boomer to explain the concept of an iPad to a gen Alpha lolll)

"Um. Flowers?" (Miley). Deb's eyes glaze over and I take control of the machine and boot it up. I put the ipad in front of this 11-13yo girl with dozens of eyes on her and she goes "nevermind no I can't no nevermind sorry no sorry sorry"

I say, "What if I sing it?" She'd already heard me do a few songs so she knows I Can Sing. I made a point to say that I'll sing, she doesn't have to. But she held onto the mic, so she could either jump in anytime or not and I'll just sing it, no pressure. Her dad said "You can do it!" And the regulars cheered her on.

I started the song by myself, she's beet red in the face. I almost got the sense that this would actually be traumatizing instead of helpful for this poor kid being pressured by a bunch of adults--- oh okay she's COMING IN.

This kid outsang me by far. I'm not 100% confident in Flowers but holy fuck this kid had pipes and put me to shame and I made that clear as soon as she dropped in. I purposely sang quieter to let her shine. By the end, she was doing a little dance, just moving around a bit, making eye contact and letting loose.

I dislike children, but I believe it takes a village and I'm a part of that village so I will treat children with respect even if they annoy me. I got lucky with this kid who was very respectful and I genuinely enjoy seeing children enjoy themselves.

(Tangent: I go to lots of local hockey games, lots of kids. Deb always takes me and she always gets annoyed when kids do dumb shit. It's a fuckin hockey game not a library, let them get crazy. In general, I like seeing people be happy - and I used to not. But now I see someone on the big screen doing a dumb survey for a hat and I will legit clap when they win, I've learned to love seeing people having a good time even if it's a better time than I'm having if that makes sense)

Then this girl went onto "The Climb" just a great range. I held my mic but I only sang when she didn't seem able to reach the note or understand the key. She still did just fine, got thunderous applause.

I was personally tipped a cool 50$ bill from her father as they left. And this is the quote that made my night and made me write this: "She's been really in a shell since Covid started. That was the first time she's really faced a crowd like that... I think she'll have a nice memory of tonight because of you." I was close to tearing up. A pause. "It's been a long time since I've seen her that happy." Aaaand the tears go.

I truly appreciate the gift I have, being adaptable and being able to bring people out of their shells. It's like giving v receiving gifts - giving always feels better.

Use whatever you have to help others. Boom, point landed.

this movie makes no sense. I don't get the hype other than jacob elordi's looks, which i don't get either, but whatever.

emerald fenell gave us 'promising young woman' which, for me, was a great film with a structre and a catchy storytelling. something I couldn't find in this one. let's just state the obvious: it's senseless.

we are introduced to oliver, whom is supposed to be like this college underdog and we are supposed to feel pity for him. but all of sudden this changes when he meets felix and gets to spend the summer with him.

I'm sorry for barry because I think he gave a truly good performance but I think the character was just bad written. i couldn't believe him, It didn't feel real. all the planning and the murders and the ending was just... not good at all.

all those 'distubing' scenes were meaningless and it seemed like the director just wanted to give the audience something to talk about other than the fact that we all saw a very similar plot in 'the talented mr ripley'.

also, and beware cuz this is a spoiler so feel free to skip this pararaph, all the murders were just improbable. how come no one got to even suspect from oliver? and by no one I mean THE FUCKING POLICE. mostly the last one, I bet someone noticed the fact that the tubes were fucking removed. so, so, so surreal to even be considered intentionally surrealist. for me the word is DUMB as hell.

the only positive thing about 'saltburn' is that the cinematography and photography.... chef kiss.

this movie was a no for me, i didn't like it at all. for those who found it entertaining I must say... what the fuck.

Remus poked at the owl and snake plushies. Truly they were some of the most magnificently crafted plushies he'd ever seen. He tried to think of the best ways to give them. Maybe he could surprise them with the plushies during that murder mystery movie mnight they'd talked about.....Though Logan hadn't texted him about it. He'd tried to not overthink over that. Lo was probably just busy. Hopefully. Or they thought he was annoying and gross and-

"My boyfriend would fucking love talking to a demon. He's like tots into that whole horror thing"

"You should take him with you for a coffee meet up! You make him sound so cool! I'm sure demons like coffee! I could make him a necklace out of animal bones! I'm working on one for JanJan! I'm gonna show him my collection the next time he's here! You want one?"

idk if yall like this, but they just exist not i guess :/

ok the the first one is Royalty AU

first things first, when I say Royalty AU, I don't mean the classic shit we've all become accustomed to. Im talking about the good old Chinese royalty! And I want to emphasize that these guys will/should be dressed in century appropriate attire. As someone thats read a handful of 'marinette, princess of china' fics from the ML Fandom, I've noticed a common trend. Marinette wouldn't be in the culturally appropriate clothes, always ballgowns. Not that there's something wrong with it, its just most of if not all these fic are set in China, so I'd expect Chinese royalty to dress as THERE dress code calls for. And since this AU takes place far in the past like, it won't make sense for any of the characters to be in royal clothing that wasn't from there region. I'm not trying to white knight/gatekeeping. Im Guyanese not Chinese. But since JTTW and Monkie Kid take place in China, it's only right. In my opinion that it. You don't have to outright agree with me.

- RS isn't even aware that MK is Suns adopted son until MK walks him back to the meeting room.

"Oh There you are MK! I was about to have a servant go fetch you!" Sun Wukong says, gesturing for his boy to come sit with him.

"S-sorry for keeping you waiting I got caught up in my lessons with Mr. Tang" MK responds, sitting next to his father. Red Son looked gobsmacked. The beautiful young man he had bumped into, was the prince of this land? Damn, life truly blessed him. Or cursed him depending on how you looked at it.

- And MK straight up tells RS why he's agreeing to this union.

"Look Red Son. I've dreamed about meeting my one true love for a while. And I would give almost anything for that dram to be real. But I wouldn't ever dare give up my people, for as there price they mean more to me. I'm doing this for them, no other reason" MK says, his back straight and hands folded neatly in his lap. The look in his eyes was a mix of sadness, but that was drowned out by loyalty and determination. It just made Red Son fall for him even harder. Clearing his throat Red spoke.

"I understand, for im doing this for the betterment of my people to. But I propose a wager"

"A wager?"

personally, I’m partial to where MK and Red Son both find freedom together. Like they straight up run away together to somewhere far away and just live out there lives together.

this could also be genderbent thing as well. MK or Red as their respective counterparts. Again it doesn't have to be, but it’s whatever bro. im just spitting out the idea.

Also, there is a main side plot that they fight the WBS throughout the year as well, along with other shenanigans you wanna throw in.

The second is a My Hero Academia/BNH/MHA AU

truth be told i'm not a big fan of MHA i think it to over hyped(this is also coming from the same person that’s a Fairy Tail fan lol), and the fandom i don't even know how to describe that mess, but I will admit not the whole of its toxic since every fandom has some toxic members, some even more so.

I just sometimes find myself enjoying MHA AUs like the Fullmetal Alchemist, Danny Phantom, Evil!Deuk AU and several others.

to make it clear I don't see this AU taking place the same time as the main plot of the actual Anime/Manga. This could be either like 6-10 years before or after the plot idk bro. But i’ll do this after the main story plot of MHA, so keep that in mind ya? another thing, the gang is still in China, the top hero school in the world just so happens to be in Japan, and it’s only ever mentioned by Sun wukong and other pro heros. So MK never attended AU. in short it’s only ever mention/ reference.

- Mk was considered Quirkless as a kid.

- he was just a late blumer, i swear

- Mai’s Quirk is called Dragon.

- it pretty much works the same way as it does in the show(duh)

- Tang’s got a knowledge Quirk,

- my man can retain information and he’s basically an archive of information drawback being his personality lol

- Piggsy is a Animal that gained a Quirk

- in cannon to my current knowledge, there are two other characters that can confirm animals can become sentient. the characters being Fumikage Tokoyami, & Nezu the principal at the school UA.

- Sandy is just Conner Kent, aka he like superman but can't fly, or shoot lasers from his eyes. And blue.

I have two scenarios for Macaque and Wukong

*- The first one is that, Sun Wukong & Macaque are brothers. twins to be exact.

- they where legit people, but have mutation quirks that made them too like monkeys.

- the added powers were just a boues.

- Sun and Mac are close growing up, like there brothers but also best friends.

- the draw back to there quirks could honestly be whatever you want bro idk, same with the others tbh. Personally I like to think Sun just has lack of motivation, and Macaque needs to draw on other people's energy.

- Sun is a hero, Monkey KIng and Mac is a villain Six Eared.

- Sun was always treated has the golden child in the family, Mac always resented that, but there shitty up bring didn’t stop the two from being good brothers to one another.

- soon tho the resentment became hatred when Sun was able to attend UA in Japan, while Mac didn't.

- Mac be angy

- so he became a villain, and joined the Chinese branch of the LOV(league of villains)

- Sun doesn't know this till he finds out during the all out war during the main story. and by that time he’s a full on hero with is own agency(The Flower Fruit agency)

- when the hero's ultimately win and Mac is arrested

- This ultimately hurts Sun a lot, his brother was in jail now, arrested for his involvement and wrong doings, he knew nothing about this! this brother, his blood. A bad guy? why? he hadn't seen his brother since he left for UA, he hadn’t seen him when he came home, and started his agency.

- this just puts Sun into a funk so he’s not as active as he used to be, and he starts thinking he might need a successor

*- The second one is that they were two separate people that had similar quirks and both attended UA but Sun ended up in the hero corse. so 1A.

- Both Macaque and Sun have similar quirks, Sun’s is obviously more light based while Macaque’s is more shadow based(this applies to the first one as well)

- Macaque was placed in class 1B, U.A.’s High's Heroics Department, I believe, you can correct me.

- In cannon Class 1A and 1B both went to the training camp. I can see the teachers pinning Sun and Macaque against each other to hone their skills.

- And because of that they become great friends

- In fact when they graduate they both co-found there hero agency together in China and are a duo.

- But due to Monkey King’s popularity and Six Eared's association with shadows(people sometimes saying he has more of a villains quirk than a heros) the public see’s Macaque as Sun’s sidekick when thats far from the truth.

- now it’s up to you whether you think that Wukong and Macaque would be in a relationship together, but knowing how cooked we all are, ShadowPeach is a thing here more than likely.

- If you do or don’t support/ like the ShadowPeach aspect, the two would be living together regardless since its more cost efficient.

- They my be heroes but living costs are expensive!

- I would imagine there would have been a huge fight/argument between the two in privet of course, at there home.(or in there shared office if you want the extra angst of the other people they work with hearing them fight)

- If the two are dating, then this would either lead to an out right breakup, or Macaque just up and leaving with Wukong thinking he’ll come back once he’s cooled off. But after a week, with no sign of his partner, or him answering texts or calls, not even coming into work. Wukong gets worried that something might have happened to him. so there wouldn't be a confirmation if they were still a thing or not.

- But Wukong remains hopeful, despite the nagging at the back of his head, and gut telling him to go find Macaque, or atleast make a public statement, or even just tell another pro hero about it.

- on the not so shippy side, Macaque and Wukong still have there argument, and much like the ShadowPeach esc side, Macaque up and leaves, and isn't seen for weeks. the only difference here is that when Wukong comes home one night to there flat, most if not all of Macaques stuff is gone.

- where as if this was the ShadowPeach side, Macaque leaves all of his possession in the flat he and wukong share. for the simple reason being, he still loves him and wants to go back, but Macaque being Macaque can’t bring himself to do it, especially after seeing just how hurt Wukong looked when he yelled at him just before he left.

- in other words, ANGST DIALED UP TO A 10 BABY

- in either case, its a news report that confirms Wukong's suspicions that he desperately didn’t want to believe, and that is Macaque turning into a villain.

- much like if the two were brothers, Wukong just can’t take it and is no longer as active as he once was, and is thinking about, either A) Retirement B) Saying, “Fuck Society, Be Gay Do Crime” and join Macaque as a villain himself, or C) find a successor, and a way to bring Macaque back to there side, but most importantly, back to him.

- also extra points if you're after people's hearts and want to make them suffer; - If there dating, Wukong curle’s up in the bed he and Macaque shared, holding/wearing something of great value to Macaque and just crying himself to sleep, where as Macaque is getting wasted on alcohol, as he stumbles out of the bar he’s in, he either see’s something that reminds him of Wukong or while he’s trying to put his wallet back into his pocket, a photo of them on their first date fall’s out. and Macaque just cries in a nearby alley way. And it’s there where he gets indoctrinated into the League.

- If there just friends, macaque heads to the nearest forest and just levels it, where as Wukong just gets engrossed into his work, trying not to think about it. you could add you own spin on this, again i'm just spitballing.

- NOW BACK TO MK! :D

- Obviously MK is a huge Monkey King fan

- at Twenty MK has come to terms he's quirkless (HE’S NOT)

-for ANGST reasons MKs fokes kicked him out at this realization at 13.

- he works at Piggsy's Noodle shop, and has been since he was 14.

- don't need a quirk to drive or cook!

- the boy lives a content life with his new family, till DBK happens :D

- DBK runs a Mafia(in conjunction with TLOV) and has been in jail for like 5 years thanks to Monkey King, PIF and RS brake him out one night when MK's out making a late night delivery since Piggsy had the bright idea to go 24/7 service!

- one thing leads to another and Mk somehow manifest what looks like the Monkey King's staff, but its not, it’s MKs powers, it just so happens to be the same power the Monkey King has. And it practically goes down the same way in the pilot.

- but unlike the pilot Mk and Mei go straight to the FF Agency, after making a panicked call to Pigsy and Tang.

- one way or another Mk are lead into Wukongs office. Mei being forced to stay in the lobby.

- they have there convo, butterfly monkey squishing included.

- "And so, I want you do be my success-" BOOM 💥

- from there they rush downstairs and see that the lobby has been infiltrated by the DB fam, and you know fight.

- once the DB family seems like there down, PIF wisks them away. Much to Monkey King’s displeasure.

From there stuff kind plays out like cannon, the calabash ep is just a conjoint quirk the Demon bros have. As for EP9, ill have to script that one out myself lol. I'll get onto it as soon as my will to commit stabs me in the face. Till then have a dancing Kermit the frog.

Now if you'll excuse me, am about to Kermit a felony :D

I'll admit I have nothing to back this up, but I have faith that this is it's own thing which is why I'm looking forwards to them, but I can totally see where you're coming from, though, and I really hope they don't decide this is the Future Of The Series because that would be the biggest mistake they could make. I've a feeling this is more just a way to bridge the Go players into core games, and test some mechanics (riding pokemon whenever?). But if they fuck it up, I'll be joining Saltfest.

The thing is (and I don’t say this to diminish your hype at all), there’s absolutely no reason to believe that this won’t affect the other core games other than blind faith in Game Freak.

That probably sounds insulting, and if it does, I’m sorry. I genuinely am not trying to be insulting, nor am I trying to diminish your hype. (And I mean that sincerely; if you’re excited for these games, more power to you. I’m not here to ruin other people’s happiness or excitement.) But I do still stand by it. The simple fact of the matter is, we could be confident that Go was its own thing because it was developed by Niantic for mobile phones. We could feel confident that it was its own thing because it was its own thing. The same thing goes for the Ranger games, for the Mystery Dungeon games, and so on and so forth. All of those were developed by third party developers, so even though they had Pokémon branding, they were spinoffs that we knew had nothing to do with the main titles.

That’s not the case with Let’s Go. Let’s Go is being developed by Game Freak, which is a big deal because Game Freak does not do spinoffs. If you look at the Pokémon games Game Freak developed before this one was announced, you will only see core titles under their credits. Game Freak is in charge of the core series---that’s their territory, and up until now was only their territory. That’s why we have to treat Let’s Go like core titles. Not only are they being developed for the Switch, which is now the core system that combines both handhelds and home consoles, but they’re being developed by Game Freak. And while we could say that this is just the start of Game Freak making spinoffs for the first time in twenty-two years, I think it’s more likely to say that this is a sign of where development for future games is headed. This is going to be especially true if these games do well (and let’s be honest, they will); if Game Freak sees that things like ripping out wild pokémon battling and adding in CP are successful, they’d have no reason not to include that in future games. And while you might argue that it’s not those mechanics, but rather things like customization and riding pokémon that people like, Game Freak is not going to see that when they look at the sales figures. They’ll look at the success of Go, and then look at the success of Let’s Go, and say, “Ah yes, this is truly the direction that we should take the games in the future.”

There’s at least a 50% chance that the 2019 games are going to be developed in a way similarly to how Let’s Go was developed, either in terms of gutted mechanics, graphics, or both. Even if Let’s Go does terribly, if the 2019 games were already planned to be like this, it will be far too late to change them by the time the reviews and sales figures come through. But even if those games aren’t, if Let’s Go is massively successful, then they’ll be able to start planning similar games in the future.

At this point, two roads diverge in Game Freak headquarters:

Let’s Go becomes a secondary series alongside the main series, and they make a pair of Let’s Go games for every region, or

The main series ends up merging with Let’s Go in terms of gameplay

Both of these sound bad to me. The second one sounds bad for obivous reasons, but the first is also bad because Game Freak is not that big of a company, and personally I would not like them diverting their attention from the core games when the core games themselves have been . . . mmhh, let’s say a bit lackluster in recent years. (Like, ORAS was fantastic, but SM/USUM were . . . ehhhhh.) You can’t even say, “Well, Niantic will help them!” because Niantic are rookie developers at best. Go is still a mess despite being out for two years. The fiasco in Chicago last year proves that well enough.

So honestly, I don’t want to kill your hype. But before today I had faith that Game Freak would never work on something like this, and that Nintendo / The Pokémon Company were smart enough to not merge a handheld / console title with a mobile phone game. I didn’t believe a single person who said that Go was a harbinger of doom for the series, and instead believed it to just be a spinoff easily shrugged off. But the doomsday criers were proven right, and my faith was shattered. So you’re free to still be excited, but at this point I feel that it takes blind faith to not see this as a precursor for what’s to come, and as sad as it makes me to admit, that level of faith in Game Freak is just not something I have anymore. Not after today.
