If you see me reposting old art from my other accounts or reblogging old posts here it's because I've had a really hard time drawing anything but silly sketches and jokes since I finished school, I think my creative energy on a physical level is low now. Mentally I am all there, I'm writing and brainstorming and maintaining a flow of multiple written projects and games. But drawing has always been very hard for me to do in the winter time since I started college.

Now that college is over, I want to try and break that gloomy streak and be fully creative. But it's been hard, I am genuinely out of energy sometimes and my life has been a little rough lately.

So when I finally do start making something, something I won't leave unfinished or forget about, I want to make my account look less like my Repost Blog haha.

Maybe I should post something about this new table top game I'm writing, but who knows. We'll see where my tired body takes me.

I finally did it!

Ace Attorney: Investigations 2 - case 2, The Imprisoned Turnabout is cleared!

What a long case, and what a conclusion!  I am both thrilled to have finally cleared it and absolutely exhausted.  (I’m sure Edgeworth is feeling the same after his experience.)

I am loving the segue in to the next case, which I will pick up once I’ve given myself some breathing room.

I hate to do this again but I’m out of work since having to quit because my last job wanted me to come back from workers comp/medical leave due to a wrist injury that I have not gotten any answers about and I physically could not do the work.

I’m now $295 overdrafted at work and while I am applying to places, I’m limited as to what I can do due to my wrist and I have not heard back from anyone. 

If anyone can help me out it would ease a lot of the stress I’m currently under as I keep looking for work.

is anyone else just so tired of how many things you have to do to make the internet a tolerable place these days? like not even a FUN place, just a place that isn't inherently intolerable to humanity??

Like I have 28 Firefox addons enabled, I have 4 mobile browser extensions and multiple userscripts enabled on my phone, I run my own fricking DNS server to block ads on devices/apps where you can't use adblocking software natively, and I'm just. I'm so tired. I should not have to replace a fundamental building block of the internet in order to avoid constant surveillance and intrusive bids for my money and attention. And the only reason I can keep up with all this is because I'm a techy person who genuinely enjoys playing around with software, but if you DON'T have that particular masochistic tendency then it's almost impossible to protect yourself fully because all of this stuff is just so much work and corporations are constantly shifting strategies to stay ahead of you.

So I watch my brother in law browse a recipe site on his phone that is so covered with ads and autoplay videos that only the middle fifth of the screen has the actual recipe visible, and he just suffers through it because he doesn't want to have to mess around with a new browser and learn how to turn an adblocker off if it breaks stuff, the sad part is I get it, because I am fucking exhausted too.

Perhaps a controversial opinion but I think that if you're a company posting listings on job sites, you shouldn't be allowed to hide the name of your company, or, more importantly, how much you pay people.

The best reason I can give for this is that nobody I know will apply for a job that isn't transparent about their title or wages. Close second reason being fuck you stop trying to take advantage of people.
