Something I really like about Raph and Leo’s relationship is that Raph noticeably doesn’t hold back with Leo nearly as much as he does with Donnie and Mikey, and it’s really nice to see that from him.

Leo too would frequently fall into a natural strategist and second-in-command role of sorts, often actually giving his worries and thoughts to Raph where he wouldn’t normally.

Then the Shredder happens and this dynamic is thrown into a loop where they both stay solidly in their own camps of “we’re heroes, it’s our duty” and “we’re teens, who cares?” And during this, Raph not holding back from Leo is cranked up to an eleven and Leo flips around to mask more with Raph than he ever had before and deliberately riles Raph up so that fights are all but guaranteed.

Post-invasion, it’s clear they’re (mostly) back to how they were before for the most part, with an added level of respect and maturity (and trauma) there too, and it’s great to see because they’re an amazing duo when they’re on the same wavelength.

I am loving the current uptick in Tonowari and Ronal adopting Spider fics, because u guys are right the Sullys did have their chance and blew it. However, I think they make me a little sad because something about Kiri, Lo'ak, and Spider not having each other to all grow up with hurts my heart. Of course, Tuk and Neteyam not having Spider makes me sad as well but specifically Lo'ak and Kiri!!! I feel like they are both the closest to him, he’s both of their best friend. They all have very visible demon blood (or in Spider's case he just fully is a "demon") and I think having each other to bond with, to hang out with, no judgement all the time is so special to me idk I'm crying. They're all outcasts in a way. They get each other in a way no one else can. 

Lo'ak and Spider are both dumb and reckless and do stupid stuff and Spider never judges Lo'ak or is disappointed in him because he gets trying to prove himself and doing stupid stuff because Spider himself is trying to prove himself every second of every day by doing things that are so dangerous for him. 

Kiri feels different, no one fully gets her or her connection to eywa and where she comes from. People find her weird, a freak. Spider is the freak of all freaks. He loves her and understands being different better than anyone, especially not understanding where you came from. 

Spider would have no one like that growing up with the Metkayina and Lo'ak and Kiri lose that person that fully understands them no questions asked. They all see each other, especially Kiri and Spider. It's one of the big reasons the Sully parents coming around is so important to me, because those three need each other so much.

In one of the playthroughs of Omori I really like, they have this ongoing joke where Kel is just bullied all the time, especially by Hero and Aubrey.  Every time Kel says anything, Hero says stuff like, "Kel, I'm going to BEAT YOU when we get home" or "Ohh Keeeel, I'm getting the BELT!!" and it's just met with Kel screaming, "NOOOO NOT AGAIN PLEASE!" and everyone's laughing about it and stuff.  And man, I'm REALLY not usually into any kind of incest kinks (just personally not my thing), but I'd lowkey be fine with an rp/fic where Hero just abuses Kel all the time and has him basically trained to obey and cower out of fear. x'D

Adding onto that, I also had so much fun with the Basil deaths in Black Space, so now I just imagine like Basil is the Kenny of the group, and he just dies horrible deaths all the time and comes back later, and no one even bats an eye beyond giggling or saying, "Oh wow, he's gonna feel that in the morning, tee hee!"

And then when Basil goes missing, Hero and Aubrey start putting Kel through a lot more shit because even they they don't really notice it, Basil's constant deaths and pained screaming do keep them pretty entertained.

Omori isn't phased by any of it ofc, since he's kiiiind of the one pulling the strings here.

I'm not sure how Mari would respond to everything.  Maybe it would be funny if she just acted like she always does and almost as if the stuff happening is just silly goofy bickering or stubbed toes, and she'll say stuff like, "Awww, don't worry, Basil!  All you have to do for a spider bite is (I don't even know, but like generic advice for a single, non-venonous spider bite)!"  And Basil is just like, "-gross sobbing- O-okay...!" while being devoured alive by a billion spiders or chomped in half by a giant one ahahaha.

Then she'll tell Kel, "Aww, Hero got mad at you?  Well... you did step on his foot after all.  But just apologize and talk it over and I'm sure he'll come around in no time! ^u^" and this is like, what you tell someone if all the angry person did was snap at them or get upset and leave for a bit.  But Hero literally broke a branch off the nearest tree and beat Kel with it until it broke lmao.

It's like... ultra horrific tbh?  But I kind of love soaking in more of that type of freaky shit.  It's almost appealing BECAUSE it's the absolute last thing that should ever be happening??

Kel is an absolute sweetie and deserves the world, Hero is a kind and patient big brother who immediately apologized and improved himself the one time he was ever really mean to Kel, and Aubrey is honestly a very good person despite putting on an edgy face when she got older and trying to push people away.  She's never out to truly hurt anyone.

So it's kinda fun to twist them up in this awful way, especially since the game itself kind of already did most of the work for me and all I did was enjoy that and also take a meme from a video series and run with it.

I mean holy shit, there's legit a whole scene in Black Space where Basil's DW friends all beat him to death and then act like everything is normal and fun. It's CANON, and everything I wrote here is of a similar caliber, just with the invitation to view it as abusive shipping if the reader desires.

Basically I'm roleplaying with myself and enjoying the sadistic story I end up with x'D

rereading marvel action rn and… yeah marvel action might have the only good depiction of a peter-gwen-miles friendship.

main comics continuity peter, miles and gwen are marketed as a trio but they’re not friends. they never hang out out of costume, have little in common, and there’s always this tension where miles and gwen are expected to fluff peter up and it’s only a matter of time before one of the guys tries to flirt with gwen. they’re coworkers, peter is the manager miles and gwen are both friendly with, and they end up on the same shift sometimes and that’s it.

marvel action trio actually earns this title. they actually hang out when they’re not in costume. they get food together. they have a study group. they have in-jokes and friendly rivalries and disputes where two corners of the triangle pit against the third. they have a group chat. peter gets to be the leader of the group but miles and gwen never have to kowtow about how special he is, they call him on his crap and always have their own moments to shine. gwen gets to acknowledge that she’s treated differently because she’s a girl and the guys never hit on her. part of it’s that they’re all high schoolers in this continuity but tbh i think the real trick is that all three of them get equal focus and a pov in the story, with their own problems, schools and supporting casts (that we hardly see, but the point of the book is their trio dynamic, so naturally we’re gonna focus on that). there’s an actual organic chemistry between the characters and they’re a true trio, not peter and his hype men who he occasionally treats well. like if we really have to make gwen the Girl of the trio, THIS is how you do it.

Hm ok what's your favorite or a really cool worlbuilding thing you've done? For any fandom or original or even an unimplemented idea

Hmm well at least in the past decade, my big worldbuilding projects have mostly come down to three-ish stories: Other Side of the Gun, Adventures of Gæilo and Ethon, and Just Desserts

OSG was an Invader ZiM fancomic concept I started around 2013 to justify every single Irken headcanon I ever came up with lol - I never finished it, or even really started it, but I put a lot of time and energy into its roughs back in the day :)

One that you can see over here is all the work I did for my DnD campaign, AGE! (Though its sideblog hasn't been updated in a while haha - the AGE tag over here works just as well) I basically homebrewed a pantheon and had an absolute blast designing all the gods and their forms before they became gods and even things like architectural differences in their churches and the BBEG and his motivations and just ah <3 Such a fun project :D

It also laid the groundwork for things like Pokemon Homestyle, specifically all my papercrafts! You can really see how I leveled up haha

And my latest has been Just Desserts! Even with less time under its belt, it's still pretty expansive, as evidenced by my icon and theme and the backlog lol, and it's the one I have the most AUs of! (Though OSG does come close actually haha) There are still some thorny details I'm trying to iron out, especially to do with the magic system, but all the characters and creatures and the fact that I made my own fighting minigame, ah, pleased! I've never been so happy with a sona before Charm! ♥ From the very beginning it's been so fun to work on and I still want to improve!
