The idea is how sett is half wolf vastaya that side of him made him be even more protective with his pregnant mate,Hwei

Being able of feel and notices when Hwei feels sick or tired...and acting more protective snd a bit possesive

I can see Hwei saying Sett how he will be a good father and how he's taking care of both very well and Sett feels so delight and proud of himself not just as human but also because his vastaya side feels delight of be able of take care of his mate and future hatchling

I have the same hc. We see how overprotective sett is with his mother, so we can imagine he been much more overprotective with a pregnant partner, specially with a human one ( oh fragile humans).

Besides sett is a wolverine vastaya not a wolf, i feel it would be the same way. I like to imagine his act look cute for hwei at first but slowly his attitudes would become a problem ( i love the angst and the conflict).

Here a fluff headcanon to get away from the angst (related to the last headcanon):

One day when Hwei is resting in the bed Sett notices he's drawing something.

After some time he see draws of babies and little children but all are different, some are boys or girls with different physical features (a few alike Hwei,Sett of a mix of both) and Hwei feels a bit of shame

when Sett ask Hwei say that the draws are just ideas of how would look their baby

Sett e Hwei se conheceram depois de Hwei ter salvo a mãe de Sett de uns bandidos numa noite. Hwei, por conta da fome e cansaço, acabou desmaiando depois de usar tanta magia, a mãe de Sett o trouxe pra casa para cuidar dele.

O meio vastaya chegou na casa as presas e desesperado depois que soube o que aconteceu e temendo que sua mãe estivesse machucada, apenas para achar o rapaz magrelo e muito bonito comendo na mesa de jantar. A mãe contou tudo o que aconteceu e que esta muito agradecida por um jovem tão atencioso ter se arriscado para ajuda-la.

Desde então Sett se sente em divida com Hwei, quando o jovem comentou que estava procurando o Circulo de lutas clandestinas de Navori o ruivo quase engasgou com o chá. Ele contou mais tarde a Hwei que poderia ajuda-lo a entrar no circulo contanto que ele soube-se manter segredo, o que o magrelo certamente conseguia.

Desde então, Hwei tem frequentado o circulo e geralmente apadrinhado e defendido por Sett, mesmo que eles raramente aceitassem magos como lutadores na arena e apesar da discordância de Bingwen por conta do porte fisico do rapaz mais baixo.

Hwei se descobriu nas arenas, cada luta era um espetáculo e ele podia se soltar de forma plena. Sett passou a ser mais e mais intrigado pelo rapaz mais velho, a amizade e proteção se tornavam amor com o passar dos dias e jantares com a mamis.
