You see how you’re making the hate a collective thing instead of acknowledging the disproportionate amount of hate Jimin receives in general? As expected. You’re just obscuring the severity of it by doing that and that’s where the frustration lies. It needs to be looked at individually because only then will you thick headed people see that taekookers have always been the root of the incessant hate Jimin’s been receiving for years. Nobody is trying to make it a competition but Jimin receiving unparalleled hate when it comes to these stupid ship wars is factual.

You basically saying that pjms have to be the bigger person and act civil in the face of tkkrs being vile so armys will be more motivated to move is why I can’t take you seriously. Pjms are allowed to clap back and defend jimin. An apparent “hot take” for you. I don’t co-sign some of the shit pjms do cause some of them are nasty. But pjms should not be treated as an inhibitor as to why armys refuse to actively protect the artist they stan from the same people they have allowed to fester within that fandom. PJMS are not Jimin.

And claiming that pjms are encouraging jikookers is a crazy ass statement cause encouraging them to do what? Why are you making it out like we’re taking sides like our priority isn’t solely Jimin? I can’t stand either tkkrs or jkkrs. I already know jikookers barely defend Jimin, set him up often and only care about him in the context of that ship. I know full well that they have their delusions but they still do not throw a fraction of the hate towards TH as tkkrs do towards Jimin.

The way Jimin doesn't even recycle his own ideas. It's hard being the blueprint.

Actually just look at everytime the members had to come up with their own concept. Compare Jimin's photofolio with the rest of them. It's almost embarrassing how much better his was than the rest. Took a regular money grab merch idea from Hybe and made something great out of it. BT21 his character concept and backstory were actually cute and that's why chimmy stays popular lol. His solo music is way more memorable than the others, others have one or two songs that they're remembered for meanwhile his filter and lie performances are etched into every BTS fans brain even if they don't like him. His album is obviously amazing. People still talk about his perfect man performance or his section in BS&T. His ad-libs go viral, his dance goes viral, him just standing in some light being blonde goes viral. I'm honestly asking - which other member has this impact (without botting lol and kths go crazy with projection because that's their speciality - pjms have never done that because we've never needed to)

Maybe I'm too biased but Jimin doesn't need fans or the label pushing artificial moments to be iconic - he just is iconic.

One of the advantages that Jimin has from not being a fave of kpopies is that at least he doesn't have to worry about losing his audience because they're a fickle crowd. His hardcore fans like pjms / Jimin biased will be back whenever he puts out music, gp / locals are already used to artists going on long breaks, plus Jimins been sparse on non-music updates / lives for a while now so even gen armys are used to it.

Exactly he has actual dedicated fans, not token stans. Jimin stans have been with him for years and waited for his solo debut forever, they're not unstanning just because he's in the military

You might as well be asking me if I think it's "weird" a Billboard article didn't mention Yoongi breaking the record for US rap album sales, or his record-breaking tour in the US...

But rather, you think it's weird the same Billboard that put Jimin and his fanbases on blast as though he bought that achievement with Chinese cash, the same Billboard that changed the rules right after that achievement, you're surprised the same publication skipped over that particular achievement in the myriad of all the other achievements they skipped over for other BTS members?

I'm not sure how to say this tactfully, but I don't relate to that person's outrage nor your sadness over an article like this. I'm not attached to any BTS member or BTS as a whole, in a way where I'd react like that to something like this. It just makes no sense to me.

Sometimes, I get asks that link me to akgae pages asking for my two cents on this or that thing that solo stans are raging about, and I usually don't answer them. I've probably not said this explicitly anywhere, but I'd like to use your ask to formally make this psa:

Please do not send me asks about whatever PJMs are mad about. I genuinely think a good chunk of ARMYs are crazy, and akgaes are nothing but the mutated, less intelligent life forms of whatever fandom they're an off-shoot of. I can't relate to half the shit that has them excited for 20 out of the 24 hours they're awake and on the internet, and PJMs certainly aren't the exception.

I read that Billboard piece as an article from a publication that's reluctantly making way for the machine that is k-pop. In fact I highly doubt Bang PD would be listed as high as he is if Scooter wasn't on the peg with him. There's so much happening in the world and much bigger fish to fry.

Jimin is happy and thriving, he earned #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 because of his exceptional talent and the massive fandom support he's built over 10 years. He continues to excel in the military where he's serving the next 17 months with his "forever best-friend" and even in that harsh environment he's excelling. His company is preparing his next solo projects while he's in the military, projects that will also undoubtedly succeed. And when he's back in 2025 with the rest of BTS, they'll be all back doing what they do. Whether or not Billboard likes the idea.

He's earned this or dare I say, it's his destiny. Some people were meant to be great. He and Jimin are two of those people. All they have to do is lean into themselves and everything will unfold.

But suddenly now with jungkook's brother it's questionable and unlikely that it's jimin's hand? A photo in black and white taken from a distance is clearer than a close-up photo under a bright light? How did you react when this filter performance dropped? 😵‍💫

Ahhhhh I watched it live! And I was commenting with a twitter friend as it happened, so I went to look for my comments. I didn't really say much, now that I'm reading the chat again. But tbf I am a chill person, I don't really do the whole keyboard smash or anything lol.

"The quality of Jimin's voice" this was during zero o'clock.

This was after his black swan solo performance:

"I can't believe it. Flabbergasted. I might cry"

"When he acted as if he was growing wings. FML show me filter right now. NO OFFENSE, I just want to see the choreo."

This is the funny part... WE DIDNT TALK DURING FILTER 😭 the messages from both sides just stopped and we went back to it when filter finished.

"The last part with the red suit. He's the only one who could do a coreography using so many props and be good at it. He's so beautiful."

It reminded me of when I went to the cinema to watch BTS Love Yourself show in Seoul and people were singing and talking the whole movie but for Serendipity everyone went silent. People just watched, there was literally no noise at all during the minutes Jimin was performing. And when Serendipity ended, a guy behind me went "wow". I swear.

Just a funny comment lol this was during inner child and I said "vitches just came online and clogged up the stream" I guess the stream started glitching at that moment and I blamed it on Taehyung's stans lmao. We (pjms) used to call them vitches I don't know why we stopped☹️

I really thought they were going to celebrate Jimin's bday during the concert on the 12th, but they didn't.

The image quality of the stream was so bad that I actually thought the purple outfit was black😭

It's funny that we really didn't "speak" at all during his performances, we actually chatted so much more during the rest of the concert lmao.

Armys are such loosers

Ngl but if my frnds left without even telling him i would be Little bit upset that they didn't think of telling me. Although i think pjms got it wrong that the boys didn't heads up to their home but mostly to the place they were supposed to be eating so ig the other three headed towards the place but they could atleast tell him that they're heading off. Idk man it's maybe i have different kind of friendships where we treat eachother different than the way members do.

And armys even bigger loosers that they're calling it karma for the prank they did on hobi, when it was jin's idea to prank on hobi and jimin was literally the first person to hug hobi for pulling that prank even tho it wasn't his idea.

Idc if anyone calls me an anto or dramatic but one thing i know after years being here is that no one in BTS is capable of getting to jimin's level of empathy, love, support and understand his eq nor is the fandom capable of understanding his heart or what kind of person he is. It's because they have never seen someone as sweet as jimin. They love call it fake but i know his kind cause i have family where all of us are similar in nature with jimin's level of eq, love, support. My dad especially is so much like jimin in that way. This fandom is just not emotionally sensible to get him at all neither are the members at his level. Sigh...

TGK are the last people I expect any extra consideration from, so I don’t have any real strong emotions about them leaving without saying anything to Jimin. Cause again I don’t expect much from those 3.

The thing that actually did irritate me is that this is just another example of armys trying to nullify any potential wrong doings of the other members actions towards him in general. I don’t like that it’s a precedent they’ve set where they disregard things. (Even when it’s not specifically pertaining to the other members) because it’s either “they’re friends it’s not malicious.” or “it’s not that deep, jimin’s fine with it.” It just comes off as a way to absolve the others because it’s more important that they don’t get labeled as rude/to villainize jimin or to act like he hasn’t faced any adversity in the grand scheme of things.

Unfortunately.
